LIVE SaaStr Insider Series: SaaStr Annual May 2025 Early Incentives

In this SaaStr Insider live webinar, Amelia (a SaaStr representative) provides a comprehensive recap of SaaStr Annual 2024 and outlines sponsorship opportunities for SaaStr Annual 2025. She shares key event metrics (10,000 attendees, 34,000 connections, 62 countries, 72% US, 28% international, 44% attending as teams, >50% VP+ level), explains the tiered sponsorship structure (Gold, Super Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Unicorn) and how lead volume scales with booth size. Amelia highlights the proven 60% lead boost from activations and defines what counts as an activation. She introduces the “Who Do You Want to Meet” pre‑event lead‑gen program, customer passes, and the importance of having executives on‑site. The core of the talk is the early‑renewal incentive deadline (Oct 31) that locks in 2025 pricing and booth placement, and a detailed overview of the exclusive N=1 sponsorships (Braindates, Founders Lounge, VC Lounge, Speakeasy, Big Party, Lanyard, Wi‑Fi, Airstream wrap, Cantina, Dog lounge, Poker night, etc.), their branding reach, and the first‑come‑first‑serve availability after the deadline. Amelia closes with next steps, contact information, and a reminder of upcoming SaaStr events.

Cool. Getting into it. Yeah, as I mentioned, we did this whole executive recap and debrief a couple of weeks ago now. But if you missed it, I just want to go through some of the highlights because I think it will impact how you might think about some of our sponsorships, especially some of the ones where there are literally one of each thing, which we'll chat about a bit today. But yeah, just at a glance, you know, it was the 10th SAAStra annual. So next year will be our 11th. Hosted about 10,000 people across the 3 days altogether. As you guys probably know by now, SaaStrE Annual is all indoor-outdoor festival style. Um, we had about 34— more than 34,000 attendee connections were made. These are how we do our networking, right? So that's everything from brain dates, meet a VC summits, uh, one-on-one meetings, etc. So a lot of connections, um, made at the show. Um, we had thousands of hours of workshops and brain dates, so a lot of really great content. So gets the attendees to come to the show. In addition to all the really great networking and chatting with you all, and then really great speakers, I think I always just, you know, a few stats here I want to call out specifically for sponsors. We had attendees from over 62 different countries. This year we had about 72% US and 28% international. So again, for folks that are, you know, thinking of— I think this is— this comes down more to the tactics of how you think about SaaS strategically, right? Like if you're maybe debating between this one and a European event or international event, this does actually have a good mix of both. It's something I always also tell folks to make sure you have somebody who can speak to international attendees when they're in the booth. We did see leads go up year over year, which is super great in particular for our most popular level, which is the Super Gold level. And then yeah, just something else we're seeing in sort of attendee trends that should be mindful for sponsors is about about 44% of all attendees attend SAS Re:ANUAL as a team. You know, being that we've seen— we talk about this a lot in the dedicated webinar, but, you know, as we've seen more people come with their executive team to something like a SAS Re:ANUAL, again, it's important to think about that and how you come to SAS Re:ANUAL, how you present, how you show up of, you know, a lot of our presenting sponsors will do We'll have execs handy in the booth, maybe not all day, but always good to have folks from that executive level since they will be primarily an executive audience that you are also speaking to, can sometimes help speed up buying cycles, impact decisions, et cetera. So just a few high points there. Again, as you guys probably already know, more than half of our attendees are at that VP level and above. Again, more of them coming in teams. So a lot of this will look familiar. You know, we did refresh our audience breakdown year over year, But it always stays fairly similar year over year, you know, so these numbers go up and down in terms of departments and, and who shows up to SaaStr. But again, a good mix of who you wanna be in front of if you sell to B2B SaaS. Something we saw again this year compared to last year, just to give you some context and some framework as we chat about some of the different sponsorships in this today, is the number of average leads from each of our booth levels that we have. So Gold being the entry level, Super Gold being the first level that is eligible to do an activation. It's a bigger space. It's the first level that also includes a speaking engagement. Lots of great things that come at that Super Gold level. Customer passes as well. Who do you wanna meet? So you'll see that boost reflected here in the data of how many leads on average people get in the Super Gold level. Then going up, going up, you know, incrementally in terms of level and equating to amount of leads, you know, the Platinum getting a bit more 'cause these are bigger booths, Diamonds, and then Unicorn. So again, just depending on volume and branding and what your different goals are, some of these may make more sense for you than others. But always good to see here that in the data we get a spread, you know, that's proportionate to the size and presence of the booth. So again, just touching on that briefly. If you missed the full executive debrief, you can watch it on our Saastr YouTube channel. It's just youtube.com/saastr. Go to the live page, it is there. And yeah, we do a whole deeper view. We also wrote it up on saster.com if you wanna just read the 5-minute version. Okay. Other thing, again, just for some context and framework setting is for, for a few years consistently now, we've seen sponsors with an activation, as you just saw on that last chart, perform better than those without. So I've had some folks ask me across time, especially for newer folks, like, what, what do we consider an activation? It does not necessarily mean food. I think a lot of people when they think about an activation at something like a SaaS re:Invent, think about things like, you know, ice cream or popsicles or coffee. And yeah, those are things we do, but it doesn't necessarily need to be food. We've had folks do games. We've had people do interactive engagements. We've had people do like book signings if they just released a book. We've had people do like product tear-downs. So yeah, there's other things you can do that is not necessarily strictly food and beverage related, but always good to know that you can see here again in the data Activations do obviously require some extra work and elbow grease, but it does tend to pay off for sponsors here, right? So again, about 60% more leads you'll get with an activation. Again, just a framework setting here, something to consider if you're looking at things like Gold versus the other levels, right? Super Gold and up are eligible to host an activation. Really comes down to space, right? You need some extra space to host your activation plus everything else you're doing in the booth. And so the Super Gold is the first feasible level at which you can do that. Okay. Again, as I, I'm hoping you've heard by now, but just to reiterate, we are moving the SAS Radio from September to May of next year. For, for some of our super fans, you may remember that pre-2020 SAS Radio was always in February. So we're kind of going back to our roots here, getting back to earlier in the year. Just as a side note too, it's something we've seen reflected really well so far in our early attendee data. Again, it's super early 'cause tickets just went on sale for early birds. But yeah, good to see a strong kind of surge of people Um, liking the new date, um, as attendees to May because it's a little less crowded, right? A little, um, fewer distractions of other shows, etc. Um, so a bit maybe easier for folks to get to May for SASster, um, than September. So, um, so yeah, again, things you probably know there. So, um, I just want to, um, go through again a few of the things that are what we consider our early renewal incentives since the deadline is coming up. As well as chat through some things where there is a deadline for what we call N=1 sponsorship. So there's like literally one of these things because if the current sponsors aren't renewed by the deadline, which is next week, it does mean that some of these N=1 sponsorships will open up to new sponsors. And I know there's a few people who came this year that want to know more about some of those that they saw because they are literally and truly limited to one sponsor each. So we'll talk about those. Primarily, but we— I do want to run through just a few of the things to keep in mind if you're like, okay, why should I engage with SAS for now? You know, May's— May is still a little bit away. But yeah, so a lot— one, a lot of reasons. But first and foremost, I know a lot of folks are in a planning cycle right now. You know, Q4 is usually when you lock in and finalize your plans for 2025. So it's a good time to even just be in early discussions with us, with our team on what's happening, how you're planning for it, and how we can help you maximize maybe your leads and presence in May of, you know, next year. Falls for most of you in Q2 to get an extra boost of lead gen sort of early in the first H1 of 2025. So that's a, that's a big reason for a lot of current sponsors. So this will be for current sponsors, for those who have already signed and have you know, contracts that they're looking to sign by next Thursday, October 31st, is this early renewal period that we talk about. So what it means is if you are an existing sponsor, so you sponsored the 2024 SAS TRA annual, you have until October 31st to basically lock in what we call your renewal rate. So you are safe from, you know, any sort of inflation and all that stuff year over year if you sign by Halloween. So that's really what we mean by our early renewal incentives. Running through next Thursday. I know there's a lot of discussions with many of you on that right now. So yeah, that's more of a reminder. Or if you haven't engaged with us, which I don't think is really anyone, but if you haven't engaged with us yet and you are one of these 2024 sponsors, maybe that's a newer reminder to engage with us here in the next week before that deadline does approach. And for those, you know, wondering why, okay, like, are there other people who have renewed for 2025? Yes, there are already. And I'll, and I'll tell you, you know, the other side of the coin on this, other than early renewal, you know, pricing incentive, which yes, for a lot of folks for their planning, right, which they're doing now, it does help to have that locked in at the same rate. So locking in your rate, I would say is number one. Two, there's a lot of folks that we did something sort of newer with this year, which is letting them lock in their booth placement from this year to next year. You know, year over year we change the floor plan a bit. So if you, if these, if you want to switch, you can when the time comes, right? And we have the full 2025 finalized floor plan. But how we're doing it for this year is literally, I think every person who's already signed has put their first choice booth placement. So, you know, a lot of people were in a booth that they really, really liked this year. Honestly, it's a lot of the feedback we've gotten in addition to the locking in your rate, right? Is that they wanted to keep literally the same booth. And so it is just something to be aware of. Like if you really liked your booth and you wanted to keep it, it's a good reason to lock in this renewal by next Thursday. We'll write in, you know, your current booth number so that you have basically first right of refusal on it for next year. Again, doesn't mean you can't move. You can always look at the floor plan next year, be like, I actually like that one better. But it just means like, you know, you've got first right of refusal on, you can stay in your, in your same booth should you like, which is what a lot of people actually wanted. Like they wanted to be literally physically in the same space for May that they were in this year if they really liked their location. It is what is driving a lot of folks to sign by that next Thursday deadline. On the opposite of that, I will say if you, if you miss this next Thursday deadline, you know, just know that we go in, in, in default, we go in order of contract signatures. So again, once we get to the map, if you're like, okay, I, I either want to keep my booth or maybe I, I may want to change to something that I saw somebody else do a little bit better, right? We, we do go in order of signature date. So the sooner you are, like, you know, it does give you more flexibility whether or not you want to keep literally physically the same booth. So I know a lot of folks this year, so it's hard for me to predict where people will pick their booths, but I think a lot of folks this year chose, you know, kind of around the, um, Cantina, the AI Stage, um, the entrances were really popular. Again, I don't think there are any bad booths this year, but those were kind of the highlights. Okay, we talked about this a little bit already. Um, so again, those were the two main incentives. There's a lot of other ones, but, um, those are the two main ones. The other thing I wanna mention, right? I mentioned this a little bit at the beginning, but For those maybe that are listening who are Gold sponsors, who are renewal sponsors or have been a Gold sponsor in the past, or maybe you've been engaging with David and Mona and have been looking at the Gold level versus some of the other levels due to the price points and like budgeting and all that kind of stuff. Again, there are a lot of really great benefits that kick in at that Super Gold and up level. And so that's something we want to always call out with our early renewal incentives. Like if you are somebody who's new and you want to get into this bonus lead gen program, That's, that's an incentive to do so. So our Who Do You Want to Meet program was a new to this year program that we rolled out where we reach out to all current and recent attendees and ask them the question, who do you want to meet? Right? So the name is pretty simple and straightforward. We solicit like which vendors they want to meet with on site, right? So like coming to the show, you got to be a sponsor to be part of the Who Do You Want to Meet program. And what we do is like pre-event, we go out to all the attendees, we ask them, and then we deliver the sponsors ahead of the event qualified opt-in leads, right? So these are people who've raised their hand and said, yes, I want to meet with Google, or I want to meet with IBM. And we give that list of leads to, you know, Google, IBM, FrontG2, Capchase. And then, you know, it's up to the sponsors on what to do with it. Most of them will go through it, kind of quickly qualify it, because you're typically, you know, within a week or a few days even of the event already by the time you get this distribution. And so a lot of folks will kind of quickly qualify, go through the leads, see who they wanna prioritize trying to meet with onsite at annual, right? Because these are hand raisers, these are attendees, you know, they're gonna be at the SaaStr annual. These are really good leads, right? Maybe a, maybe a bit further along in the funnel than just a normal inbound. So yeah, so most folks will prioritize who they wanna meet with onsite. Even getting 50 extra meetings onsite, you know, is a lot of meetings to do across 3 days. And then, you know, so folks will try and maximize their onsite meeting and then have a really solid follow-up plan. To reach out to those maybe that they missed onsite at the show, but know that those people were hand raisers, right? Like this is just, again, maybe further down funnel data than something you may get elsewhere. But so yeah, this is really open again to Super Gold and up. So something I mentioned, if, if you've been at that Gold level and are considering moving upward, there's a lot of incentives that kick in in addition to speaking. You know, this Who Do You Want to Meet program is one of the other big reasons why people go to Super Gold is why Super Gold is one of our most popular. And then customer passes being the next one. So there is an incentive here. We do different kind of tiers and for a number of passes, you know, this is a great way people use this a lot for customers and prospects. So I will call that, you know, clarification out there. It can be for current customers, which really, you know, typically makes your CRO or your CS team or your CEO happy, right, to meet with as many customers as you can on site. And then, you know, the sales team and marketing team usually use it for prospects. So we've seen people use it both ways. They've, you know, invited a handful of customers and then prospects. Always good when you can get those people together too. So again, just something else that kicks in at that super gold and up level. OK, a few things I want to touch on. So in these n=1 sponsorships, because again, they are a bit more custom, if you will, than something like the booths. You just saw, right? Like the boots are fairly turnkey, activations are more custom. But as you saw in the data, usually pays off in the amount of leads you get. Another type of sponsorship we have is what we, again, what we call the n=1 sponsorship where there's literally one of these. So they are ancillary. Again, they're a little bit more custom. They do have a lot of branding components involved. So again, I do like— there's reasons I think that folks like the ancillaries, right? Some people like it because it is For most people, they do it in addition to a booth. So for the majority of our sponsors, it's additional branding that they can get on campus. Rarely do we get sponsors that do this as just a one-off without a booth. It does happen for some of the bigger ancillaries and n=1 sponsorships we do. But for the most part, we see a lot of people bundle these together as a way to, you know, maybe spread yourself across the campus, maybe look really big on site rather than being just in one place. One of these ways is the Braindates sponsorship. So Braindates are the primary way we do networking on site at SAS Re:Annual. And so with that, we have to build a really big Braindates lounge. It's a great way to meet people. You know, the hosts are— the hosts and the sponsors are present at the check-in counter. This one I like for a lot of reasons. You get physical branding on site, which is, I think, quite great, you know. You're associated with networking, kind of fostering learning and engagement, which is great. So there's a lot of physical, like, on-site branding. It does also have digital branding to it, which I like about this one, which is always why it's always one of the first ones to go. But yeah, the Braindate sponsorship is great because you kind of get both, right? You get the, the, the digital branding of, you know, the emails that we do that call out Braindates. You get branding in the actual Braindates platform, which is really great, right? So people will see you when they're logging in and booking their meetings. Again, it just ties the whole thing together between like the digital app and the physical presence, um, onsite at Saastr. So this one's always a really good one that goes typically fairly quickly. And how all of these work, right, for any of these n=1 sponsorships that you're gonna see upcoming is there are literally one of these. So like there can only be one Brain Date sponsor. Um, and the current, any of the current sponsors for these things from 2024 basically have until next week until their whole expires, right? It's kind of like if you've ever booked a venue, right? You have like a soft hold on it till a certain day. All these sponsors have a soft hold by default until 10/31. They do not sign on the dotted line by 10/31. That means like, you know, technically on November 1st, you could email us and say, hey, has somebody taken the brain dates? Like, I'm interested now in sponsoring. And flip side, if you are one of these sponsors who has one of these N=1s for now, again, that's just a reminder, right? We, I think we're in talks with everyone there on that impending deadline so they all know, right? But it does mean on the reverse, like if you are interested or saw one of these things at SAS or Annual this year or kind of, you know, are leaning towards planning something like this, again, primarily folks do this with the booth in conjunction for next year, then something to consider that, you know, November 1st we will have slightly open inventory. I will say, and already of some that did renew and pick already, But officially on November 1st is when we can say which ones, you know, will be open. And if you want to know, just email us, right? It'll be easy for us to know then. But I don't know yet because people still have a week. So, and I will say usually when it comes down to these n=1 ones, when I was looking through the data of last year, a lot of people signed literally on 10/31. So I can't say for sure yet where we will land and which ones will be available. But if one of these catches your eye, just let us know and then we can work with you if it does become available or something similar does. The Founders Lounge, this is a great one that Roam's done for the last couple of years, both at Europa and Ancestry Annual. This is really one of our only— we have a few gated places on site now, but this is one of the only ones. It is literally the only Founders Lounge, which is quite nice. A lot of founders are here. It's a really great place to hang out and you know, it's all going to be founders. You know, really, it's a, it's a really good hangout area for founders. We've also allowed founders to like take meetings in there. So like if they have somebody with them, like an investor or like, you know, another exec, they want to take meetings in there, you can do so in the Founders Lounge. So again, there's constant foot traffic in the Founders Lounge. It's its own separate thing. It is access controlled, right? So we do have people at the doors checking that you're a founder or CEO to get into the Founders Lounge. Again, unless you're coming in with the founder. And then in which case, you know, people do hang out here. It is one of those things where every time I walk by it, there's people in here. As you can see in the photo, there's usually a lot of people in there hanging out and chilling. It's got like different like food and beverage all day. So it's just a cool place to be. Again, not, not saying necessarily that Roam hasn't taken this yet. So it's just one of those things where I'm going through the whole gambit here of all, all the n=1 thing, because there's truly one of these, like there's just one. Founders Lounge we build at SaaS Annual. Similarly with these other lounges, right? So there's a VC lounge comparable to how we do it for founders. We do one just for VCs and investors for them to host their meetings with on site. This year it was sponsored by SVB. Again, it's another great place where, you know, if you're trying to reach out to founders and maybe sell to some of the investors to get into their portfolio companies, The VC Lounge is a good way to do it. The Speakeasy is a little bit different. It is— there is only one of these, but anybody can get into the Speakeasy. It is one of our just like open lounges for all attendees. So it's not gated, it's not access controlled like the VC Lounge or the Founders Lounge, but it's a cool hangout area. I know a lot of people will go hang out in there because again, it's like kind of an oasis during SAS Re:Annual. There's— Usually like music playing and like drinks throughout the day. There's like coffee and then it changes like booze. I know IBM this year brought their like true golf simulators. Yeah, it's just a really fun place to hang out. So we do see a mix. Again, it's one of those things where we've typically for the last few years we've done the speakies, the sponsor has been somebody who already has a booth. This is a nice way to get, again, additional space outside of the, you know, traditional sponsor hall. It's a really, it's a good ancillary place to engage with attendees. For IBM, I know a lot of it had to do with how they wanted to show up on site, right? And have additional branding, be more fun, show off some of the Watson stuff in the TrueGolf simulator. So have a place to host meetings. So again, different goals for all these things, but typically we see folks add them on to something they're already doing to get extra branding, right? A lot of this is, there's a lot of really great founders and people and to you know, connect with them at scale is really easy if you do it this way, right? A few popular ones we've seen too, and then I think there's like one more slide of these. The big party. So we do the big party on site every year. You can bring your customers and prospects with this one, which is why I like this one a lot. It's a great way, like, if you're thinking of hosting, like, you know, your own, I don't know, side event or something during SaaStr. I'm like, You don't have to necessarily host it as a side event. You could do it as the official big party event and bring, you know, 100 of your customers, prospects. So if you've got a lot of people you wanna invite, you wanna host something at Saastr, this is a turnkey way to do it, right? You don't have to deal with any of the logistics. You just sponsor the big party. We do all the logistics and just invite people to party, which is actually a really easy thing to do. Like most people will be like, oh yeah, like You're having, you know, XYZ DJ at the big party at Zaster. Sure, I'll come, you know, I'll come down. Like, that's the easier thing to do. So again, I actually think the big party is really turnkey. We've had folks in the past do like different giveaways during the big party that we help them with. Again, invite their customers, invite their prospects, basically treat it as your own like mini event within Zaster and co-host the big party with us. It's always a fun time. We've had DJs for the last few years like Duke Juman and Tito Lau. Come Play the Big Party, which is like a draw, Cash Cash, Cheat Codes. Those are the last 4. So yeah, it's always a fun time. Again, a really turnkey way. Like if you're thinking of doing something like this, but maybe you don't have the manpower logistics, this is a good way for us to just do it for you. So something to consider is the Big Party. It's always my favorite time at SAS for Annual. OK, the next 2, these 2 go pretty fast. So every year, you know, there is a lanyard sponsor. Again, the same thing. All of these are n=1, right? There can only be one big party co-sponsor. There can only be one logo on the lanyard because, I don't know if my Zoom will let, you know, it's, um, there's not that much room for SaaStr and then another logo, right? Like it's just SaaStr and then the sponsor's logo alternating. Um, that's the one I had on my desk handy. So that one's a few years old actually, but I still keep on it. Patches. Um, but yeah, anyways, there's, you know, there's the SAS logo and then one other logo. That's it. That's all that fits, right? So there's only one other logo on the lanyards, as you can see here in also the big party photo and any of our photos. You'll see, I mean, we, we, we do actually enforce people wearing their badge, so it is something that will show up in all of the photos. Uh, um, so yeah, that is something where, you know, the lanyards are typically— again, I think between braids, lanyards, those are like the first two to usually go. Um, as well as coffee, that's like The trifecta of the, of the n=1 sponsorships. Those are always the most contested and fought over of who will get them. But yeah, the lanyards, again, there's just one of these, but really easy way again to get your brand in front of everybody to be on the lanyard, right? It's a great conversation starter. It's also an easy thing of like, you know, when you're at the booth to be like, yeah, you know, we're on the lanyard. It's like, this is what we do. So again, it's, it's a good driver of just like easy foot traffic, super turnkey. You literally just send us your logo for the lanyards. That's it. Like, it's so turnkey. It's so easy. Similarly on Wi-Fi, right? We— there will be Wi-Fi anyway. So typically this is one of the ones that goes as well. You know, this year was Vanta. People have gotten— you can see here in the photo, they got creative on the name, the naming of the Wi-Fi, right? So like the Vanta is the only— like that was the Wi-Fi name. And so they were like, okay. And then the password was one to trust. And then you're like, okay, I have to literally type this in. So Sometimes it's funny because then, you know, when your competitors are at SaaStr, you're like, aha, they have to type this in every time. But like, everybody has to type it in every time. Yeah, WiFi is one of those things where I'm like, you can get creative on the name. I think it has like, they did like the max characters, I think. So yeah, it does have a character limit. But other than that, you know, you can get creative with it within, you know, appropriateness of what you want to do. And then yeah, as you can see on things like this, Obviously, there's a bunch of signs everywhere of like what the Wi-Fi is and what the password is because people need Wi-Fi. So it's one of those ones where, yeah, it's cool. It's, it's good branding in the network name. And also one of those things where, you know, you can, you can get creative with it. And then the branding is, you know, throughout the entire campus because people need the Wi-Fi. So you'll see a bunch of signs like this, you know, of different sizes and shapes all through our campus with your logo. They put a QR code on it. Which they branded with their llama. And then people like literally scanned this and also took photos of it and was like posting it on LinkedIn and like tagging Vanta. So again, one of those things that there's, there can only be one Wi-Fi sponsor, right? We're not gonna switch the network mid-event. So there's only one of these just to bear in mind. I think these are the last two. There are actually more than these. This is why the numbers jump around. But I want to call out some of the more popular ones, um, from this year. So yeah, the Airstream wrap. This is a really cute one. So Workiva wrapped, um, the Airstream this year, which had slushies. Doesn't mean you have to have slushies. You can just have some sort of like specialty drink. Um, but we landed on slushies. Um, so yeah, we did slushies. They named them. They had like their own bar menu. Um, it was great because, you know, Workiva was a gold sponsor. And so for them, right, gold aren't eligible to do an activation because it's too small. And so for them, it was easy to use this as the activation, right? It's a physical space. They were able to add it on. They were able to have, you know, they basically split up their team between some people were in the booth, some people were at the Airstream. Obviously, it's branded really purple and cute. We did like matching umbrellas. And then, yeah, it was just, again, a cool hangout space for folks. Again, a good way for them to boost their branding outside of their booth. That's why, again, I called that out earlier, but I do always mention a lot of these were additional things that people did versus one-offs. Not to say you can't do it one-off, but a lot of these were things people did in addition to boost their branding on-site at SASphere. We've had this more prevalent in other years, but yeah, this year we built out actually a bigger cantina. So whether you realize it or not, if you were on-site this year, you can actually sponsor the cantina. It is the front and center of the expo hall and also how we have the stages in that hangar. Hangar. So we have like these two really big hangars on site at Saster. But yeah, it's the front and center of everything. It's where, you know, attendee lunches, it's where the really good cold brew was this year, plus all the drinks, you know, tea, like drip coffee, all that stuff. It's a hangout area, as you can see in this photo. People just literally chilled there all day. Again, it's one of those things where between like, you know, the cantina, this, this speakeasy too, I feel like sometimes people have a misconception of like, oh, people are only going to go in there to get a drink. Like, later in the day during happy hour. I'm like, no, there are people in there getting coffee in the morning. They're getting breakfast burritos, like they're chilling in there. So like, um, but anyways, the Cantina, again, primary food and beverage location for attendees is the Cantina cuz it's the front and center of everything. It is a hub. You actually, I think you have to walk through it at some point. Like you can't really get from the sponsors to the stage or to the next hangar without walking through it, at least even at the periphery. Um, and if you're, you know, most people will walk into it because like I said, there's coffee, there's food, There were drinks there, there were snacks there, there were like cheese boxes and stuff, wine, bartenders. So anyways, yeah, the cantina is always again front and center. It's the hub of everything. So it's a really good one to sponsor again to boost branding, etc., if that is something you want to do. Oh no, there's 2 more. Well, there's 2 more on this slide and there, there are a few more I didn't put in, but yeah, these were popular too. So yeah, the The doggy is always popular year over year. Again, one of the ones that typically goes kind of before we'll, we'll hit 2025 or whatever the next year is, is typically the dog lounge. So we bring in adoptable dogs. We do it a little bit differently. I think I've seen, you know, at some events they bring in, you know, just literally puppies that you can pet. We don't do that style. We do the style of these are literally adoptable dogs. And we work with local shelters to bring them in. So this year we worked with the Peninsula Humane Society and the SPCA of San Francisco to bring in different dogs. Also, they were like adoptable and also like therapy dogs because then they're, you know, they're more used to being in this environment of, okay, there's a bunch of people hanging out all day versus, you know, some of the events you go to and you see just like the puppies you can pet. Like, I don't know, that's kind of their job. And so we do it a bit differently because we're all dog lovers here. So yeah, they are like adoptable certified, like trained dogs. Um, so yeah, it's a little bit different. Um, so they don't get overstimulated. Um, and yeah, we work with like the local shelters to do it just because we are in the Bay Area. And then we do like a donation to them on behalf of the sponsor, which is, I think, pretty cool too, right? Um, and yeah, again, obviously a good conversation starter, like it was for Info Booth this year, um, to have the dog lounge. So yeah, again, if you You like dogs, you want to try that into your brand. Like they had dog toys at the booth. Like it was a cute tie-in for anybody who was coming that, you know, had a dog. Obviously a lot of us do. So like people were coming up and be like, oh, I'm going to take this dog toy home. Like, what does InfoBip do? Right. So again, a good just tie-in there. The one on the left is the SaaS for CRO and CEO poker night and poker tournament, I should call it. I will say I've, I got a list of the amount of people who won poker night and everybody started with $100 and some of these people had crazy amounts at the end. I was like, I don't— I guess you just literally— these 5 people like cleared everybody else out, which was kind of crazy. Um, it's, um, it was so— it was— people got into poker night, I would say. Um, there's no real money involved in poker night. I have to— I have to keep disclaiming that, um, because that was the number one question we got. There's no real poke— like, there's no real cash involved. But, um, we do— we do the poker tables all 3 days, but for one of the days we do, um, CRO and CEO only poker tournament. It was jammed, it was packed. We did do prereg and we did check people at the door, right? So I do remember there were a few like AEs and like VPs of sales that came up and I was like, are you a CRO? And they're like, no. And I was like, well, come back when you are. Like this was literally gated again for CRO, CEOs only. It's a good way to, you know, chat with people, have a little friendly competition, better way to know somebody. I know there's another tweet, I think on Saastr annual where somebody got a term sheet 'cause they were at poker night and we, we, We did let a few of our, you know, core investors that we knew in that weren't gonna spam people in the room. But if you're, if you're one of those camps of like CEO or CRO wanting to meet, you know, your next CRO to head up your revenue, this is a good one. If you sell to that audience specifically, obviously this is a great way to do it 'cause you will be in front of these folks for the duration of the tournament, which they went long. I think it was supposed to be like, 6, no, I can't remember what time we started, 5 or something to like 8. And I remember like leaving the big party and being like, oh, we have to like tell them to stop playing poker because they're still playing poker. Again, it was a vibe. People took poker tournament very seriously. But again, if that's your audience, maybe something to consider there. People liked it. So yeah, I think those are the n=1 sponsorships. So Again, if, if that was a little confusing because you came in midway, all that to say that all those ones that I just showed only have one sponsor. They only have room for one sponsor. Some sometimes physically, right? Like you can only fit one lanyard, one logo, one other logo on the lanyard. Some of these have bars or their lounges, right? It's weird to share that space. And so it's your own exclusive space because they're the only sponsor. So again, some of these have, you know, anybody who's these current sponsors of these N=1 items will have until next Thursday to basically say whether they they want to keep it or not. After that, it will go on to the open market. So if you are interested in one of these, or maybe one of the other ones I didn't touch on, let us know, um, so we can walk you through what that looks like. Again, a lot of these are turnkey. A lot of these people use, um, as an additional way to get extra branding on site at SAS or Annual. Um, again, engage people maybe in a different way. Good ways to think— bring customers, you know, do all that kind of things for your lounge. All, all, all ways that people have, you know, thought about doing these n=1s. In the past. So really great way to know that. There is a question in the chat of did I go over pricing. Just email me. I'm Amelia at Saastrink. I'll get you to the right place there. Again, there's kind of an early renewal incentive for sponsors, and then we have like different rates after Halloween. So just email me within the next week for those curious. Or yeah, if you're curious on any of these N=1 sponsorships, because you, you, you're even considering maybe doing one of these for next year. Again, there is only one. So if you are interested in one of these and it does open up, you know, starting November 1st, it's literally first come, first serve. So if you're like, okay, I am interested in Wi-Fi, but maybe somebody else is also interested in Wi-Fi, it's whoever gets to the finish line first. Like we, we will also tell you, like we're very communicative if we're like, okay, like you, you know, there are other people in it, or okay, we feel confident that you could get this one. Because obviously we don't want to make it stressful. But yeah, there are literally physical capacities on some of these, and that's why there's only one. And we've— I've never seen us make two of these. So like, there's no, you know, two Landers would be weird. So yeah, they really are capacity constrained. So good to get in front of it, good to get ahead of it. With that, if you have any other questions, do just email me again, amelia@saastrang.com. Pretty easy to find. We are doing these webinars a little bit more bespoke right now until the new year. We, we tend to do them weekly. We're starting to do a new process too where like we write them up and do like a recap, which I think some, a lot of folks found really helpful last week. So we'll do that this week as well. But yeah, just really great to see. Thanks everyone for watching. We'll wrap it here. Just reach out if you have any questions. Hopefully, you know, you're chatting with our team already if you want to take advantage of the locking in your rate for next year or for, you know, locking in your booth placement for next year. Or if you're like thinking about one of these special sponsorships where there's only one of them. And also like if you are the sponsor or become the sponsor of one of these, you are literally going to be the only one, right? So like I said, it's a little more custom. It's a little more fun. But yes, so with that, thanks everyone for watching. We'll see you next time. We have another Disaster Workshop Wednesday on Wednesday, so I'll see you guys on Wednesday, or I'll communicate with you via email, and we'll see you then. And have a good Halloween if we don't see you before then. So thanks everyone for tuning in. We'll see you next time.
