Live SaaStr Insider: Sponsor Activation Launch!

In this 30‑minute live webinar, the SaaStr events team walks sponsor points‑of‑contact through the latest sponsor portal updates, key deadlines, and the new Activation program for the upcoming SaaS Re:Annual conference. The presenter reviews sponsor registration codes, room‑block booking, booth specifications and the strict selection order (Diamond → Platinum → Super Gold → Gold) based on sponsorship level and contract signature date, emphasizing the April 1 graphics deadline and late‑fee penalties. The Activation section explains that activations are optional, eligible for Diamond, Platinum‑Plus, Platinum and Super Gold sponsors, and are selected via a vendor deck with costs shown at cost plus a $500 permit fee. Detailed guidance covers additional expenses (power, labor, insurance), the requirement for a $1 M Certificate of Insurance (COI), badge registration for activation staff, and compliance with San Mateo County venue rules (food, drones, balloons, noise). The presenter showcases example activation vendors—candy, cupcakes, popcorn, custom swag, interactive games—and discusses budgeting tiers, staffing needs, and timing (often aligned with happy hour). Custom activation ideas are encouraged, with the option to upgrade sponsorship level if needed. The session ends with a Q&A, notably confirming that Gold sponsors can pursue activations but may need smaller‑footprint or custom solutions, and outlines upcoming webinars on speakers and booth staffing.
Questions this video answers
Activations are allocated in order of level and contract signature date. Premium activations generally fit only Super Gold and higher booths, but Gold sponsors can still run smaller‑footprint or custom activations; they may need to adjust the idea to fit their space or consider upgrading their sponsorship level.

Sweet. I'm gonna go ahead and get started since we've got a few things we wanna get to today. Okay, we're streaming. Great. Awesome. Thanks everyone for joining. I'm gonna share my screen and we're gonna get started. If you have any questions that we don't cover on today's agenda, please drop them into the chat. There's a few reminders we wanna hit. Actually first at the top of the webinar before we get into activations, which we're launching today. And that's just the latest reminders and deadlines. I know we sent the weekly sponsor email just twice this week just to make sure we had all the additional POCs captured on that. So please make sure you got that. I think I see a lot of names here who responded to that. So that's great that you guys are getting those. If you want anybody else added, Just let us know to those communications. The other thing I'll remind folks just here at the top of the webinar is we are starting to send out the sponsor registration codes. So you'll get that in your email. And then once you sign up for that, you know, we do kick up things like sponsor newsletters and we start to send them to every ticket holder that has a sponsor ticket. So that's another way to make sure you guys get on the distribution list is to sign up there. And then that'll also be the best way to sign up and start getting the attendee email emails that start basically now-ish till SAS Re:Invent. Those have a lot of reminders specific to attendees, things like when we launch networking, we'll launch them here first. So a lot of that will be information you guys already know, but obviously great information for your broader teams. So just a few reminders before we get into activations of what's the latest and greatest. If you're just joining or if you're a newer POC, to get caught up on SAS for Annual now that it's about 68 days away. Business days, I think. So, or no, I think it's every day. So yeah, so latest reminders and things we want to go over. One, I'm showing you guys on my screen the sponsor portal. Hopefully you guys have logged in there and done your tasks by now. If you haven't, please let us know so we can get the right person access to get access to this portal. We've mentioned this earlier, but you can have as many people as you'd like on the sponsor portal. So there's no maximum amount of users you can have. We're happy to give anyone on your team access that may need access to this information or that might be handy to have. A few different things have been recently added to the sponsor portal. So if you missed last week's webinar, we went over the campus map and the specific expo sponsor hall booth floor plan. So there's a whole recording on that, which is in the webinars section up here. But just to touch on it briefly, this is the campus map, which is the overall map of SAS Re:Invent this year. If you're a returning sponsor, some things have changed. Lots, lots of it's the same. Lots of it we've upgraded or improved just based on last year's feedback from September. And then just touching quickly on the booth floor plan here, this is the specific booth floor plan that we'll be resending to you once it's time for boot selection. We have started boot selection and that starts with the Diamonds and the Platinums. So we are still doing selection with the Diamonds and Platinums before we move on to things like Super Golds and then we'll move on to Golds. We do go strictly in order. So that, that does mean one group at a time is selecting their boots. So that means, you know, all the Diamonds and the Platinums pick first. And then all the Super Golds and then all the Golds. So I think with our current just like pace, I would imagine if you're Super Gold, you'll probably hear more so by like next Friday or the next week Monday. And then, you know, we've got a fair amount of Super Golds to go through because it's our most popular level. And then we'll go into Golds pretty much in like 3 weeks or so, I would say, just depending on, you know, if any— there's any holdups and sponsors that we can't get a hold of to pick their booth. I know many of you, though, are eager to pick your booth, and you're like ready to go with your choices for when it's your turn to choose. So just a reminder there. And if you are newer to this process, we do booth selection strictly in order of level and contract signature date, much like we will do activations, which we'll chat about in a second. So we'll— that's the majority of like the reminders. The other thing we'll say is the booth specs are in here. Those are super important because your booths are due no later than April 1st to avoid any late fees. You can see the late fees here. They are fairly substantial. Or you might say to yourself, you know, I'm just going to pay— I'm a Super Gold, I'm just going to pay this $2,500 and be late because I need to be. It's happened for sure in the past. We like to work with our sponsors, so hopefully nobody has to pay a late fee, but life happens. So yeah, just pointing out these sponsor booth specs here. Hopefully by now you guys have gotten this to your design team or it's in their queue soon since we're March 6th, um, for that April 1st deadline. Next week we are gonna talk a lot about these headers and these categories, um, since there'll be an action item for all sponsors on that next week. Um, so that'll be some of what we talk about. I know we'll also talk about speakers a bunch next week. Um, and then we'll also talk about more of the overall agenda next week as well. This week is really heavy on reminders and activations just for purposes of agenda for today. The other thing you will have seen in the sponsor email we sent out this week is a link to the room block. Just of note, that is the room block that's also gonna be going out to attendees soon. So if you haven't booked, we try to give sponsors about 2 weeks to book that before we open it up to attendees. It's already been about a week since we've first started socializing that. So yeah, in, in due time it will, it will start to sell out. So if that is something where you want to be specifically in the SaaS to Room Block, make sure you use that link we've sent. I'll also put it into the chat in a second. Just pause my screen and put it into the chat as well so that you guys have it. But yeah, something there to keep in mind if you're starting to book your travel, if you're starting to register your teams. That the room block, I do suspect, will sell out. That's not to frighten you guys. That's just a fact of life of the other two hotels in the immediate area are kind of already sold out. So where the room block is, is kind of the biggest availability of rooms where the shuttle is also going. So just keep that in mind. Let me put into the chat the link, just if you're watching on the Zoom. So here it is. Use this link to book. Copy. All right, getting into the chat. Here's the chat. Send to everybody. Cool. Okay. That link is the tracked link, but it'll take you to the right place to book your rooms should you wanna do that sooner rather than later. Booth graphics, we've said, are due April 1st. We did do a whole walkthrough on these. So the other thing I'll point out on this webinar, as we do many weeks, is all these webinars live in the sponsor portal. This is a playlist view. So if you ever want to rewatch anything, that's here. We kind of link what we've gone through, right, on some of these so that you can feel caught up. Basically, if you have access to this, it's fairly easy to get caught up on what we need. But if you're like, I've got a, you know, specific question about boots and maybe I wanna watch the one on boot specs, you can just open up this playlist. You know, this one is the one that says booths, where we walk through each of the booths and some of the specifics by level. You know, you can just watch the intro and then your specific level. That's probably the easiest thing to do if you want just like a little more guidance on designing your booth. Okay. With that, I will now switch over to activations, which is the bulk of what we're going over today. And then if you guys have any other questions, we'll just do Q&A at the end. So you can drop your questions into the chat if there's anything, again, we haven't of it, or maybe we haven't been able to answer yet to you in email. So activations. All right, so this is a brand new area of the sponsor portal. As we've said, we've been updating the sponsor portal pretty much daily at this point leading into SAS Re:ANUAL. So we just launched the activations in here. So you'll see it now in this home, home navigation where you can get to Activation officially launched and began today. They're not required. So I say this every time, they are definitely, you'll see the data in a second. They're a helpful way to engage attendees during SAS Re:ANNUAL and like set your brand apart, but they're by no means required. You don't have to do an activation. It's just that many of our sponsors do. So if you're like, you know, I know I don't want to do one, you can pretty much skip the rest of this recording or webinar. But if you are somewhat interested in doing one, then we'll walk you through how to secure one. Much like boost selection, activations are also in order of level and contract signature date for selection. The eligible levels are Diamond, Platinum Plus, Platinum, and Super Gold. The ones we put into this deck, which is linked here, which we'll be walking through, are vendors we've worked with before. It's a fairly comprehensive deck, but by no means does it have everything on planet Earth. So if it comes your time for activation and there's something in particular you're looking to secure at SAS or just let us know. We've worked with hundreds, if not thousands of vendors throughout the last 10 years, and we probably like have a guy for that. So, um, just let us know. The prices you'll see here will be at cost, meaning like we don't mark them up in that deck. That's just the straight up cost from the vendors. Some of the time you might be like, are you sure that's not marked up? Like, is there a discount? Like, those are the real prices. Again, that's why we say they're completely optional. You do not have to do them unless you want to. The additional fees you can expect will depend on the activation you pick. So no matter what activation you choose, there is a flat rate just activation permit fee of $500 here that goes to SASPR. That covers any permits that we need. That'll cover things like, you know, all the licensing and fees we have to do. And we do that on behalf of the sponsor because they make us submit it all at once. And they do charge us for each permit. So that's just the flat rate for the permit fee. But we'll fill all the paperwork out for you. I think once it's down to the final mile, we just ask you to like sign it and then we send it so that we have it on file. And then things like, you know, we'll work with you for any, you know, inspections, etc. during setup and load-in. So with that being said, onto the activations deck itself, it's linked there in the sponsor portal. So I already had it open, but if you use this link, I'll just click it for posterity. You can get to these activation options. So again, not, not mandatory, not required to do an activation at SASBRA Annual, but you'll see here, this is the data from last September of how many more leads per booth people get by doing an activation versus just doing their booth, right? So again, this is the average amount of qualified leads. So there are some higher, there are some lower than this on the end of the spectrum of sponsor booth scans. But in either case, across the board, booths that have and enable an activation always have more leads than maybe ones that don't enjoy or host an activation. Activation selection. We've talked a bit about this a little bit. So we'll just go into a few things of like, what happens now in this process? You guys are watching this webinar. If we see something we like, what happens? So as mentioned, we release this deck and we go, we proactively ask master will go out to sponsors in order of level. So again, that's the highest sponsors first, so people like the Diamonds, the Unicorns, the Platinums, the Platinum Pluses, um, and we reach out to them when they're eligible to choose their activation. So there's no action you need to do right now if you're like, okay, I am thinking about doing an activation, maybe you're a Super Gold sponsor. We will proactively reach out to you once it's your turn, um, to say, hey, you're eligible to pick an activation should you like. Here's the latest availability. Again, doesn't mean you have to pick one at all or even one in this deck, but that's just the way we do it to make it a little bit more turnkey. As mentioned, there can be other additional costs. So if you're trying to budget maybe in the meantime, right, these prices in the deck again are gonna be a good ballpark of the total price for the vendor itself. Then there's the flat rate permit fee, and then you just have to think about like, you know, for your activation in particular. Some of them have different needs, like some of them need extra power, so that's gonna be an extra power drop that you'll need to pay for with the, um, power vendor at Aster. Some of them need things like handwashing stations, um, which you'll get through the venue, or different things like, um, extra tables, chairs, etc., extra labor, um, which again, will help you coordinate with the different vendors of who that might be. But just keep in mind, you know, if you're doing something that's maybe a bigger activation, or more beefy, it may require just some additional fees there. Those are typically no more than a couple hundred bucks, honestly, of additional fees of like extra power, extra labor, whatever it might be. I will say, unless you have like a crazy big activation, in which case it just requires a bit more coordination between ourselves, the vendors, and what they're bringing in. It's just a matter of like, how much do they have to bring in? Does it need special material handling? Things like that I've seen get fairly expensive. Expensive. So just something to keep in mind there. And as the sponsor, you know, that is something you do need to factor in and be liable for of covering like the, the full, fully loaded burden cost of the activation. If you're not sure, again, as you go through this process and you're like, I want this one, but I'm not sure like how much this might end up being, we can help give you a rough cost of that just based on, you know, what sponsors have done with these vendors in the past. But it will depend on like how much you do with the vendor and how many days you do an activation. Lots of variables, right? So we can give you a more specific answer once you get a bit further along in this process. So basically, when it comes your time to choose, you're gonna look at this deck, see what the, um, see what is the latest availability, and then come back to our team if you're like, okay, I do wanna secure XYZ vendor that's on slide, let's say 14. Um, what do I do? Like, here are the days and times that I'm looking to do it. Um, and here's what I'm looking to do with the vendor. All that information is helpful to us. We'll loop you in directly with the vendor, um, and keep ourselves happy to help coordinate. Um, but really, we'll, we'll, we'll help facilitate that introduction. Um, and then we'll help you finalize that process with each individual vendor. Um, so that we can help with, again, with other things that they may need for load-in or setup. Keep in mind that if you are looking to have an activation, technically all sponsors are supposed to provide a COI for SASTR. So that's just a little tidbit there. Whether or not you do an activation, you are supposed to have proof of insurance for SASTR. The verbiage is right here on slide 7 of what you would need. But just keep in mind, if you are doing and activation, that is something we will need to have on file sooner rather than later. Um, so if you're like, oh, I don't know if our company has this kind of coverage yet, again, probably something to look into with maybe your finance team, um, or your housekeeping team, admin team, whoever has that information, just to make sure you can do the activation. Unfortunately, I do know a few sponsors last year who were not able to get COIs in time and had to cancel their activation after doing all this. So again, something to probably check in on now before it's your turn to select to make sure you can get that proper insurance coverage, um, so that once you do book everything, you're good to go also with the COI. And again, there's no fear of like you'd have to cancel afterwards. So, um, do keep that in mind. I say that now sooner rather than later just based on, um, what happened to a few folks last year. Again, we'll do— we'll help you with the permitting and things like that. Um, but yeah, for things like insurance, that's something you'll want to send this slide or take a screenshot of and send that to your team now and just find out if you can get this COI. Um, this is honestly fairly, for most sponsors, fairly, um, simple task to do, you know, send to your finance or admin team, say, hey, I just need an additional COI. I know some of the sponsors that are at bigger companies have like a whole process for this of like, there's a request form that you have to fill out on your side internally to get a copy of the COI and get these additional people named on it. Um, the coverage, you know, is a minimum amount of $1 million. Most folks I've gotten COIs back from have more than that, again because it's company-wide insurance, and this is just a certificate of insurance. Um, so yeah, just something to, um, keep in mind there. Um, last kind of things to keep in mind is once you are kind of getting to the finalization of your activation with the vendor and SaaS itself, yeah, insurance becomes important to get that analyzed and get us a copy so we can get it to the proper channels as well. It's not— I mean, we keep them on file, but really I pass them off in a stack to like 5 different people at San Mateo County. And then the last thing will be to keep in mind that these people will also need to be badged under your staff as like one of your staff members, one of your team members. That's the way we also will know who they are of, you know, once we know the hours that they're coming to do your activation, the offering selection, etc., things like that. If they are staffing your activation, which most of them do, we will need to make sure that you register them under your sponsor code the same way you would one of your team members so that they can have a badge as one of your team members to a SAFSTER. Last but not least, as the slide says, for a number of reasons, we, we, we're really not able to accommodate unapproved activations. I'll say this, I know our process is fairly unique in the fact that like we do try and make it— I know maybe it doesn't seem that way— we do try and make it fairly turnkey to choose the vendors we've worked with before or help you secure a vendor, um, and make it so that, you know, you're not in the Wild West of, I've gotta go file a permit with San Mateo, I don't know how to do that. Like, I don't know if I need extra power and things like that. We do try and facilitate all those steps to make it easier to finalize your activation. Um, so for those reasons, I think it's fairly hard to kind of circumvent or kind of get around this process. And do a quote unquote rogue activation. But it doesn't mean it hasn't stopped people in the past. But just know there have been activations where we've gotten on site. We find out about an activation or giveaway we didn't know about. And sometimes, unfortunately, those don't meet the guidelines, right? They're not really our guidelines. There's different guidelines we're beholden to in San Mateo County. There's different rules for food. There's different rules for swag. There's different rules for just different activations. Based on, you know, property rules, flight paths, fairground rules. I know some— somebody tried to like give away drones. We're in a— the San Mateo County Event Center is in a flight path for the airport, for SFO. We can't run any drones. Again, this was kind of a heartache for that sponsor. He was trying to like, you know, fly around drones and then give them away at their booth. I'm like, we can't do drones anywhere. So So again, kind of hard to circumvent, but if we don't know about it, it'd be harder for us to either give approvals or not. So again, if you're thinking of doing things like an interactive giveaway and you're like, maybe that doesn't need a permit and maybe it's not food and it doesn't need staffing, it is still something you should absolutely let us know about. Again, just in case, right? We've had people try and bring different balloons. We have different balloon rules, trust me, because like if it gets stuck in one of the hangers, it's a fee to go get those balloons down. And if they say your company's name, I know exactly who to go to when the balloons get stuck in the rafters. So I know it sounds like a weird thing, but best practice is like just tell events@sastrank.com what you're planning to do in your booth. Most of the time we're like, cool, that's a swag giveaway. We don't need to know too much about that. That's cool. Um, other times I've had sponsors say, you know, I'm just gonna go to Costco or whatever and do prepackaged food. Prepackaged food still counts as food. So anything that touches food has a process that you've seen. So if that's something you end up doing, that is still something that needs a permit. It's still something that needs COI. Again, not our rules, but just rules we try and follow so that all of SASTR does not get shut down. For having weird food handling things. Again, just at an event at our scale, we just try and make sure everyone is following maybe county rules that we've known for the last few years. I don't expect you guys to memorize any of this or know any of this. It's just so we can help you guys make sure your activation meets criteria for all the different venue rules and vendor rules and county rules. So that again, we can have a safe and enjoyable SASRA Annual. For everyone. It's not meant to penalize you guys. Honestly, a lot of times people tell us about their activations, we just walk them through the next steps, get it sorted, and it's all good to go. I'm really talking and making an example of a minority of use cases in the past, just to help gear and garner your expectations for this show. So last but certainly not least, any activations you will secure will need to fit in the bounds of your booth. So, and be honestly quite respectful to your fellow attendees and sponsors. We've sometimes had people say, you know, I'm going to do a magic show in our booth. And this is a real example. Again, that's fine. Have a magician. That's fun. But their magician tried to have, you know, an amplified microphone. And we're like, that's so disruptive for a lot of reasons. Like, your neighbors don't want to hear your magic show. They're already seeing it. They may not want to hear it all day long when they're also trying to conduct business. And so again, it was just a minor tweak on site of like, you can do the magic show, but you cannot have the magician hooked up to an amplifier to amplify his sound. So again, things like that, we just try and make sure it's a comfortable environment and productive environment for everybody at Zaster. So With that, I'm not going to go through all these slides in this deck. There are quite a few. I think I'm frozen, but other than that, I would say— let's see if I can return. Okay. What you'll see in this deck is it's fairly straightforward. It is sorted by the things you'll see at the top will be reserved, right? So these are things that have already been reserved by Right now these are all Diamond sponsors, so technically we started a little early, but once you, once we go out to more sponsors, you'll start to see more things in the reserved. And then you'll see slides like this that say available. And we try to do it by budget, right? If you're like, okay, up to $35,000. Most of these are below $35,000. It just depends if you do them all 3 days. But this is kind of, you know, entry level, super turnkey. These are also probably, I would say, the least amount of work are the ones. That are up to $3,500. I should say $35 grand, sorry, $3,500 for activation. So things like these Sugarfino cubes, I saw we did them and then one sponsor did them last year as well. I love these. These are great. Sugarfino is like a kind of cult-followed brand of candy. Their candy is quite good, but these are nice because you can, you know, you can just order it, have it delivered. To the event center. We, we would give you specific instructions because we do need to keep them temperature maintained. But basically you would get a batch of these and you could say like, you know, you just send them your logo and their color. They brand it for you. Super easy. They ship to the event center. We get you a temporary food permit fee for packaged goods. And then you can pass them out at your discretion. So things like this are quite nice because you don't need extra staffing. You can do it yourself if you're like, okay. If they book a demo or if we had a conversation with our sales team, this will be like a nice swag item we give them if they're a qualified lead. Super easy to do things like this. Similar on things like macaroon, again, prepackaged, still needs to go through the process, but a little bit easier because, you know, we help you refrigerate them. You can send them to us in one batch for all 3 days. You can, you know, replenish as you see fit. So if you're like, okay, day 2 is really heavy, I've only got like 500 macaroons left, I'm just going to go through the rest of the stash. You can, that's your decision to make, right? These can be branded again, super easy to do at your discretion if you wanna be able to pass these out when you want to, because it doesn't need to be staffed. So similar thing on things like cookies. Again, these are all kind of in the same boat here of pre-packaged. Some of them, you know, these so far can be branded. So that's branded, that's branded. These are handmade but also branded. With your logos, things like branded cupcakes, right? Again, super easy to do. They deliver. This vendor can deliver either all at once before or like each morning just to keep it fresh. And then you've got the, you know, cupcakes pretty much all day to be like, okay, I'm going to start to give some out. And when I, you know, run it out, I'll just go to where the sashimi's refrigeration is. And then I have more cupcakes ready to go. So again, super easy to do. Things like ice cream sandwiches. These are not brandable. Obviously these need slightly more of a cooler. But again, a fun thing to do that you can do for a few hours either each day, or you can do one day if you wanna maximize it. And a fun thing to do. The last one in here is the, like, things like a cartoon guru. Again, you don't have to do any of these like every day. You can do 'em at your discretion. Once you get into the like higher tiers of price point, you'll see things that are probably a more premium offering and do take a little bit more time. So the other thing I'll just kind of mention again, without going through all of these, I'm just going to use the popcorn as an example, which is the next one. This vendor has like popcorn or cotton candy. And you could say like, okay, I want to do, you know, this many servings. Um, this one's a little interesting because like they, they can do it out of their food truck and they could do it in your booth. Um, which is again, quite nice if you want to be in multiple locations at once. Um, but that requires things like, you know, making sure we have your logos, making sure we know what servings you want. But for any of these vendors, all that to say is you don't have to do it every day unless you want to. Like we've put hours here we recommend. This is typically aligned with happy hour. On days 1 and day 3 and then day 2, it's kind of— you want like the middle back half of the day. That's when a lot of people are at Zaster and it feels really full. So that's usually a good time to do an activation. So you'll see that on a lot of these, right? Like, what does this all entail? This one, for instance, is a like live spun cotton candy where they can do branding. But obviously this needs staffing, right? So not something you're going to try and do for the whole day. Because it'd be pretty costly to do so. But things you can consider would be like, you know, okay, if we've got, you know, let's say $5K or so of budget, I can do a day maybe during one of the happy hours and use my time there. It's something too where our sponsors in the past have advertised in their booth when they're going to have these activations. So if you're like, okay, maybe we're not doing it day one, but we're going to have it the next day. Then I'm gonna advertise my booth. Hey, come back tomorrow. We're gonna have, you know, live swag, cotton candy, maybe give them a card or something to remember that so that the next day they come back and interact with you guys one more time and go from there. So, okay, there's a lot of options in this deck. Not everything is food. I'll call that out. Most of it is just because our attendees really like treats, but some things aren't, right? So there's things like I just flipped through some of like the more like custom swag on demand. You could do things like silhouettes, things like, I know, like laser or like leather engraving. There's things at the very end like interactive games that you could bring into your booth. So again, not everything has to be food related. You'll notice a lot of it is. That's just what people have gravitated to. The other last, last, last thing I'll say, and then we'll do questions if there are any others in the chat, is again, if you're like, okay, these are cool because they're kind of turnkey, but I want something that's more custom, like even these, right? Like these are branded bobas and that's cool, but like also not something an attendee is going to hang on to for a long time. You know, other things like the shirts that are more on demand might be able to align better with your brand. So something to think about too. It's like, again, you don't have to use any of the vendors in this deck. If you're like, okay, I know I wanna do something that else that's custom, I'll give you guys a good example. So last year, build.com, who sponsored, did their own Lego station because they already had branded build.com custom Legos where people could like build their little selves as a Lego person. And then some of them were branded again, super cool. It also, you know, it tied into how they were marketing their expenses and spend platform and building out use case. Anyways, it tied into their product a bit as well of how they were putting it all together. So again, not to say you have to do something like this. These are just more turnkey, good way to get the branding. But if you, again, if you have an idea that's maybe a little bit more custom to your brand, just let us know if you don't have a vendor for it, but you have an idea. 9 times out of 10, again, we have somebody we've already worked with who can help fulfill it and make come true. Again, the whole point of activation— it's not required— is just to help draw people into the booth and honestly tell them a bit more about you as a sponsor. There are a lot of sponsors at SAS Re:Invent, so this is a good way to do that. All right, hopefully that was a helpful walkthrough. I know we've been trying to keep our webinars mostly to half an hour so that if you guys watch them back, it's easier to replay. So with that, unless I see any other questions come into the chat, as always, please reach out to us if you do think of any questions as you're diving into this, just events@sasstrength.com. That goes through a few of, of us so that we can make sure we answer it in real time and go from there. So I guess just last kind of reminders is that The timeline is a super important place if you're here on the sponsor portal or if you're getting caught up and up to speed. This is a good way to do it and catch up and see where we are basically in terms of release. So that is something that you'll want to view. Right now we are sitting at March 6th. So as promised, this is our booth activation release and review. Next week we're gonna again be mostly talking about sponsor speakers. So we'll send out a separate email from speakers team to, if you know your speakers or if you have a, a different designated POC, um, for your speakers this year to join that webinar. Um, since that will have a lot of speaking reminders. For some of you that you're like, I'm maybe a Gold sponsor or my sponsorship doesn't have speaking, you can honestly skip that webinar. Um, if you don't have speaking in your package, because it's gonna focus on that. And then, you know, the week after we will go into more things like how to staff your booth, kind of best practices we've seen. And then yeah, really get into more of the nitty-gritty to help you guys get prepped for SAS Re:Annual. Cool. There is one question in the chat which I will answer live. Are non-Super Gold sponsors eligible for activation? So that's a great question. So how we do this is we do it in order of And you're right, we do it in order of level and contract signature date. Quite honestly, by the time we do Gold sponsors, it's not that you can't strictly have an activation, but in this deck you can't have a Premier activation because it just— it— oh, I stopped sharing. It just wouldn't fit in a Gold booth, right? A lot of these that you'll see here and again, all the Premium activations are strictly Super Gold and up. Because they're the only booths that this space would fit into. Like, this Cotton Candy Station, for instance, does not fit into a Gold. Like, there's no way with how the Golds are configured, no matter how— which way you split it, and it has to strictly fit into your booth. So that wouldn't work. I have seen Golds do— now, it doesn't mean I haven't seen Golds do activations. Most of the time, though, I will say it's something where they came up with the idea. It's something that would fit in a smaller footprint, or it's something more like, you know, people who do spin-to-wins or swag giveaways, something again that is more turnkey, easier to manage than a premium activation like the ones in that deck. So good question. If you have a more specific question for that person who asked, again, reach out to events so we can help you with like what might work for you and your company in a Gold. But again, majority of folks too who do these premium activations are strictly at that Super Gold and up level. Other thing you can consider is you could try and upgrade to like if you're like, okay, I really have this particular idea. I don't think it's going to fit in the Gold, but we want to do it. Might be able to upgrade to a Super Gold. So some food for thought there to consider. Okay. With that, thanks everybody for watching and joining. As always, we'll be back next Thursday. Hopefully this was helpful. If you have any questions, you guys know where to find us now, and we will see you next week.
