In this short dialogue, Amelia discusses her preparation for the upcoming South Street Annual event, highlighting that her small team—three humans and a dog—now supports over 20 AI agents she has built, including a newly added support agent. She shares the challenges of sleeplessness and loneliness that come with scaling such a large agent fleet. Jason Lemkin congratulates her on being named to the GTM AI 25 and Ones to Watch awards for Momentum, noting that the recognition came from multiple community nominations. He emphasizes the importance of featuring less‑known innovators like Amelia. Amelia expresses gratitude for the honor and reflects on the contrast between large SaaS events and her intimate, full‑time effort to build and manage AI agents.
We're gearing up for South Street Annual in May. We have 20+ agents, which I know we'll get into. I just added a new agent, I think like 2 weeks ago, I vibe coded my own agent, which we could talk about of why and how I did that. And then this week I decided I would add another agent and like a support agent because we needed one. So yeah, I am just literally sleepless trying to keep up with my agents.
That's so awesome. I love it. And you were also, I mean, just so you know, when you got awarded the GTM AI 25 and the Ones to Watch awards for Momentum, it was because many people actually submitted your name. That's so nice. It wasn't just me, it was other people in the space who was like, whatever Amelia's doing is amazing.
So I just wanna make sure I tell you congrats.
'Cause that's, it's, it was really good to see, like, 'cause I tried to make the awards to where we could obviously talk about people like Kyle and everyone else. And he does viral content too. Yeah, love Kyle. But there's others like yourself who are not as well known. I'm like, we gotta get people on to feature 'cause you're doing some sweet stuff we gotta talk about. So I just wanna tell you congrats excited that you're there.
Yeah, thank you. It's been— it was an honor to make the list. And then when you told me that originally, I was like, really? Like, that's so nice. Like, there are so many times where, like, you know, obviously SaaS is a big brand, and when you come to our events, there's like 10,000 people there. But like, during the year, like, we're like full-time, we're 3— I say now we're 3 humans, 1 dog, 20+ agents. So sometimes, right, like, I'm on Zoom all days, but then I'm like, fuck, sometimes it's like a little lonely, just like Building all these agents and I'm not sure if anyone really cares. So it's very nice to hear.
Well, you can hit me up anytime and geek out. Like, just keep me on Slack. I talk about this all day.
