Grid Vision: Smarter Energy Decisions, Faster Execution #shorts

The video presents Grid Vision’s decision workspace, a product designed to help energy planners make evidence‑based investment choices. Users sign in, load a single decision with two or three candidate paths (e.g., a 120 MW AI load in MISO with an Alpha path at an existing 161 kV substation and a Beta path at a new 345 kV tap). Every input is entered as one fact per line and is explicitly labeled as a fact, an assumption, or an unknown, with its source attached—no inference or invented data is allowed. The intake form is pre‑filled from prior conversation and each value must be confirmed. Formal analysis runs only on an authorized network snapshot; if none exists the system reports “not ready” instead of using sample data. For management review, an executive decision report is generated that plainly states the method, uses rule‑based cost and schedule screens (not utility figures), compares alternatives on a common basis, and shows evidence coverage for each option; the full record can be exported as a PDF. Operational context is added via ERCOT Live telemetry, which pulls public dashboard feeds (grid condition, demand, fuel mix, settlement point prices) every 60 seconds, each tile showing source, as‑of time, and fetch time, while remaining separate from the core Q‑data. Formal utility, ISO, and engineering studies remain authoritative. Overall, Grid Vision structures evidence, records decisions, and turns uncertainty into an execution plan.
