A short YouTube clip by Jayson Lowe recommending two books he frequently revisits: Who Not How (which encourages shifting from 'how' to 'who'—finding people with the needed abilities) and Gap in the Game (which reframes unrealistic goals as unrealistic timeframes). Lowe summarizes each book's central idea and calls both 'must haves' for your library.

Here are two books that I continually refer back to when I receive inspiration. The first book is right there. It's titled who not how your brain immediately goes to how am I going to get all of this done? Who not how places an emphasis on rethinking your thinking. So when you think of the concept of who not how when that new project or idea comes up because you've developed the ability to rethink your thinking, you immediately go to who possesses the unique capabilities necessary to get the houzz done. The second is right up here. Right up there. Gap in the game when you're thinking of maybe a goal that you're working toward and you've established a very clear timeframe. Okay, I'm going to get this goal established in 12 months. I want you to understand that there's no such thing as an unrealistic goal, only unrealistic timeframes. So these two books who not how gap in the game must haves in your library.
