Debt is a liability because it takes money out of your pocket. But again, debt is an asset. If you are the banker in the bank owner, you are somebody else's asset because the debt is not bad to a bank. Banks want to lend money out because it attracts a stream of payments. So when I say that we recapture the debt, yeah, we've paid off the third party debt from the commercial bank, but what we've done is we've taken their asset and we've shifted where it resides. It now resides within our own family banking system so that the payments that were leaving our family previously are now flowing back to our own system on our own terms.
