A short advice segment by Jayson Lowe on making business decisions. He emphasizes that you do not need perfect data to decide, recommends seeking consultative feedback from trusted advisors, trusting your instincts once you have majority information (e.g., 60–80%), and committing to the decision and execution rather than delaying for certainty.

What is my advice to someone who doesn't know how to make a big decision? I think my advice would be, first and foremost, recognize that you don't have to have all the data in order to decide something. What you need is you need consultative feedback. So you've got to seek out feedback. You've already got a sense of the decision. You've got a sense of what direction you want to go as it relates to whatever decision you're contemplating. Seek out the counsel of those that you trust, especially as it relates to business. You'll never be 100% in terms of all the data you need to decide. Remember, your competitors aren't moving any slower. So if you're 60, 70, 80% of the way there, decide, commit, get off your ass and get going. Listen, no human being on the planet gets every decision, so get over it. Gather the data, trust your instinct, commit, get going and stop holding yourself back. Get out of your own way. Decide, commit and go.
