How To Protect Yourself From Inflation in Canada

Jayson Lowe explains how life insurance companies survived economic crises that devastated banks, and argues that whole life insurance lets you function like a bank in your own finances. Banks create money through lending, fueling inflation. BOLI is a tier-one asset because it pays dividends and stays solvent.
What have we experienced over the past hundred years? The Great Depression.
The Spanish flu, H1N1 SARS 30 recessions. The tech bubble burst, the financial crisis of 0809 COVID 19.
And yet life insurance companies remain the most financially solvent institutions on the planet.
Now the the commercial banks in Canada are not regulated to but they all. To our knowledge we haven't researched a bank yet that doesn't do this. When money is deposited at the bank, the bank takes a portion of that deposit and moves it into their own account with the Central bank of Canada, it's a reserve account. Now again, when you deposit your money into the bank, the bank takes a portion of your deposit and moves it into their account with the central bank. It's called a reserve account. You go to the bank to borrow capital. The bank utilizes one of these, creates money. It's all digits. Creates money where no money existed before and lends it into existence. How many of you remember how much less it costs to purchase a candy bar and a can of soda when you were knee high to a grasshopper? And it costs way less money to produce those very same goods today. And so it's not the cost of manufacturing that has driven the cost of products up, it's the value of the dollar going down. How is the value of the dollar driven down? Through consumer behavior. Borrowing money from banks. Whenever you borrow money from a conventional bank, you're part of the problem. You're contributing to inflation. The life insurance companies cannot inflate their money supply. Why do you think through the past hundred years? What have we experienced over the past hundred years? The Great Depression, the Spanish flu, H1N1 SARS 30 recessions. The tech bubble burst, the financial crisis of 0809 COVID 19 and yet life insurance companies remain the most financially solvent institutions on the planet. And banks, commercial banks are purchasing dividend paying, participating whole life insurance. It's called bank owned life insurance. Just go to Uncle Google and look up Boli B O L I. The commercial banks are buying these contracts by the truckload. It's a tier one asset to the bank. So either the banks are really stupid and creating a lot of wealth for their stockholders, or they know something that you and I don't. Which one do you think it is? Your money must reside somewhere. So if it can reside inside of an entity that you own that you control, where the entity cannot inflate its money supply, where you get contractually guaranteed daily accumulation of a pool of financial value that you can borrow against at your convenience and control the repayment schedule of your own loans and create an instant estate and never pay in what the insurance company is going to pay out and trigger zero taxation on the daily accrual and have a contract that is exempt from the passive investment income tax rules. How much capital do you want residing there? If you know that your accumulation cannot be repossessed, it cannot lose value, there's no stock market decline or pandemic or economic event that can take any of that accumulation away. How much capital do you want residing there?
Because from that place you can do all the other things that you want to do in life that involve risk, that involve investment, that involve the movement of money.
But you cannot achieve a better rate of return. Doing any of that other stuff. If you do not control the banking function as it relates to those things that you want to be doing. Isn't that good. And some of you came onto the webinar thinking that you were going to fall asleep listening to a conversation about life insurance. This has nothing to do with life insurance. The life insurance contracts are just the tool that we use to enable you to implement a process.
This has everything to do with who's controlling the function of banking in your life. And we meet with so many people, they've done a lot of research on the Internet. Kudos to you for doing that. But all of the stuff that you'll find out there is all product focused. It's all about the insurance contracts. Has nothing to do with the process.
