The reason why I'm very passionate about the stinking long range concept is because probably a lot of you are on this webinar, sorry. My story growing up is in the inner city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There was no conversation around the dinner table about legacy. There was no conversation about estate planning. There was no conversation about, if I can think about it, anything financial whatsoever. Now we were lucky if there was even a dinner table to sit around. My mom passed away a few years ago now. And the reason why I tell you this is because I've lived seen firsthand experience what it is when there's no real plan in place. When people pass away, especially parents, that's some of the most difficult times and things that we're going to go through in life and experience. Why would we want to complicate that and make that even harder by not doing the due diligence and putting the effort in at the beginning to ensure that we know what your wishes are? But when there's zero plan in place and there's zero money to plan for anything, jump into overdrive to, to solve that problem. Because now you're just reacting. You're not planning, you're not executing, you're reacting. I've experienced that. It's painful. If we think long range and we plan properly, then we won't have to put somebody through that in one of the most difficult times that they'll have to experience. Want to learn more?
