The Do's and Don'ts Of Infinite Banking In Canada

A short, practical YouTube monologue by Vern McCarty (Ascendant Financial) outlining do's and don'ts for implementing the Infinite Banking Concept in Canada. Key "don'ts": don't do it alone, don't heed financial noise, and don't try to accomplish too much too quickly. Key "do's": educate yourself (notably via Nelson Nash's Becoming Your Own Banker), work with an authorized Infinite Banking practitioner/coach, practice the process patiently, and consult Ascendant Financial resources including a 90-minute webinar and related playlist.

Don't. Number two, don't listen to all of the financial noise that's out there. You hear things and then what we do is we hear a little bit of information and we make an absurd conclusion. That must not work because this guy over there who probably doesn't really know anything about it, said that it's a bad idea.
Hi there, Vern McCarty here with the Ascendant Financial team. And today I'm going to talk to you about the do's and don'ts of the infinite banking concept. You know, we're often hearing things out there. Financial strategies, great ideas, investment tips and tricks. And you know, I talked to a lady the other day and she told me, she said, look, Vern, I want to learn about this infinite banking concept. And you know what, I'm willing to go out and watch some videos and read some books and educate myself. But the last thing I want is at the end for you to tell me that I have to give you $10,000 for you to give me the hot tip or the hot secret. Anybody who's been out there and studied about real estate investing or any type of maybe stock hacking or something like that. I'm not saying that you can't find great courses out there where people can walk you through and show you exactly what to do, but if you know what I'm talking about, if you've been to the seminars and the webinars and the conferences, you've been there where they never quite give you the goods, do they? They kind of keep leading you down the path and dangling that carrot in front of you until you get to the end where they tell you, bam, you got to pay me a bunch of money before I give you the real secret. Well, I've got great news for you. Today I'm going to give you some practical do's and don'ts about the infinite banking concept. And that's exactly what we do on the ascended financial team. We coach people just like you every single day to do exactly what we do. We're not telling you some fancy strategy that we're not practicing in our own lives. That sounds really good. This is a process that every single person on our team practices and we can show you exactly what you need to do to get started and walk you all the way through the concept long term. In fact, I'm going to give you a free tip right now. I want you to click the link above at the end of this video and watch 90 minute webinar where myself or one of my colleagues Depending on who's leading, the particular webinar that you're going to see at the top there will walk you through a 90 minute webinar and the problem, the solution, and some practical examples of exactly what the process of becoming your own banker can do. Okay, here we go. Let's start with the don'ts. You ever hear people say, hey, you want the good news or the bad news? I always ask for the bad news first. I don't know why. So in this example, I'm going to give you the don'ts first. Are you ready? Here we go. First thing is, don't do this alone. Just like what I said at the start of the video, you know, there are people out there who are trained as authorized infinite banking practitioners through the Nelson Nash Institute at Ascendant Financial. We hold ourselves out as the very best in the business that do this. No disrespect to any of our colleagues out there, but you know what, you don't have to work with us. Just make sure that you're working with somebody who's an authorized infinite banking practitioner and they can actually show you that they have their own system of policies and they actually use the process in their own lives and they've accomplished some objectives. So, hey, you're not alone out there. Don't try to implement the process of becoming your own banker or the infinite banking concept all on your own. Don't. Number two, don't listen to all of the financial noise that's out there. You hear things and then what we do is we hear a little bit of information and we make an absurd conclusion. Ah, that must not work because this guy over there, who probably doesn't really know anything about it, said that it's a bad idea. Take the time and put in the energy. Find some resources, read some books, talk to some people who actually practice the concept or anything that you're out there considering doing. Don't jump to conclusions and make sure that you take the time to learn what you need to learn so that you can make an informed decision. Don't. Number three, don't try to get too much done in too little time. This is a great piece of advice that I personally, I received this from Nelson Nash watching the Nelson Nash documentary. One of the things that he said in that video that I took away is don't try to get too much done in too little time. He was a lot older than me, he was a wise man. He lived a full life. And that was one of the things that he said that he would have told his younger self. We're always in a rush to get things done and you don't have to get too much done in too little time. So the same goes for the process of becoming your own banker. You got to boil it down into incremental steps, have some specific objectives that you want to accomplish and don't try to get too much done in too little time. Nelson shares some excellent rules for us to follow. And one of them that's really key is think long range. Let's get after some do's. Well, some of the do's are the opposite of the don'ts. The first do is make sure that you educate yourself, take time, get your hands on a copy of this book. You can go to the Ascendant Financial website. You can look on Amazon, but you know, we ship this book anywhere in Canada. If you go to our website, get a copy of Nelson Nash's book Becoming youg Own Banker. Unlocking the Infinite Banking concept. Take some time to read, to learn, to educate yourself so that you can make an informed decision about how you want to move forward with the process and if it is going to be a fit for you and your family. Okay, now the next do that you must do is work with a really good coach. I mentioned that earlier in terms of a don't, don't try to do it alone. Well, make sure that you turn around and actually work with somebody who is a really good coach. Again, you don't have to work with our team necessarily, but make sure that you are working with somebody who isn't just trying to sell you a whole life insurance policy. You know, any life insurance advisor in Canada can sell you a life insurance policy, but very few people actually practice the concept of becoming your own banker and are authorized through the Nelson Nash Institute to do this. And very few of them are, you know, for lack of better terms, practicing what they teach. So make sure you work with a really good coach, somebody who can, who has walked other people through the process, who've implemented it into their own lives, and who can walk you through from A to Z. Okay, Most important, do number three, practice. It's a process. So any process requires practice. So be gentle on yourself, be patient. You're not going to get this overnight necessarily. Although it is a very simple concept, it's a very simple process. But Nelson himself, I think he was, don't quote me on this, 87 years young when he passed, rest his soul. You know, I'm 37 years young. We're always learning. We're learning every single day. We're growing and expanding our knowledge and Nelson said can accomplish anything with this process process that we can imagine. Anything that you can do financially today you can accomplish with the process of becoming your own banker. It's only limited to one's imagination. That's why he called it a concept because it's an idea. It's an idea of what's possible. So be patient, practice the concept. I switch up my strategy in terms of how I implement the system and how I use it all the time because I try new things, I experiment. I mean practice. That's what it's all about. So I hope you found this video really useful. I hope these do's and don'ts are going to help you get started on your journey of becoming your own banker. And again we're always providing lots of resources so check out the playlist beside me here and those other links that I mentioned in the video.
