CEO's need to see their team members as an investment, never as a cost. Because what do you try to do inside of your business? As a CEO, you're always thinking about how do I drive cost out of the business? What I'm always thinking about is how can I go and recruit the best talent as an investment in the business? That's what I'm continually thinking about, and I would encourage other CEOs to do the same. Do you truly understand what your customers value? If you do, then provide that if it aligns with yours, and make sure you've got the right teammates. Make the investment, go get the right people, and if you're viewing them as a cost, you're setting yourself up for failure. I promise you, as sure as I'm sitting here, your people are an investment, never a cost.
