The excerpt is a poetic, rhythmic lyric that blends Afro‑futurist warrior imagery with natural mysticism. It introduces an “African Space Samurai” who moves through shadows, embodying a paradox of gentleness and fierceness. The central metaphor is the wind—an unseen, unstoppable force that infiltrates homes, commands bush spirits, and binds the world without being struck. Repetitive chants (“Wai wai wai wai waa!”) reinforce the incantatory feel. The speaker invokes spirits of the bush to submit to the wind’s decree, emphasizing themes of invisible authority, the interplay between humanity and nature, and the power of unseen currents that shape reality.

The wind's decree shall rule the land. Oh, the unhittable and gentle unseen breeze cannot be struck. As the wind enters
