There are no such things as limits in God's vocabulary. Limit is a human word. Brittany and I are going to be talking about that and what limits we have placed on ourselves intentionally in episode three, season three of Rogue Two.
All right, well, the world knows. Three episodes into season three, Brittany Turner has an island. And that's where we're at right now. What's this recording studio called?
Aerial Studios.
Boom. There's going to be a lot of amazing creations in here.
That's a working title.
That's fair.
Unless we come up with something better.
That's totally fair. So how does someone else. How does one of our listeners. How do they buy their island? Brittany.
Oh, man. Still writing down ideas for new names.
Love it. That's fine.
That's what you do to me.
That's it.
Oh. How do you buy your island? What does that mean? That means, what is a vision in your heart that God put in there that may or may not make sense to other people, but it's a huge thing. It's probably a vehicle. I had somebody interviewing me the other day, and they were, like, trying to make this whole story of my life was, like, building up to the island. And I was like, no. And they're like, what are you talking about? This is an amazing bubble and owning an island. And I said, the island is a tiny piece of the journey of my life, and it's not my identity. And that's why I'm okay having not talked about it for the last five years. Because it does not define me. I'm the same Brittany Turner that lived in her car, still saving lizards, that owns an island. And I'll be the same Britney Turner as a billionaire. And I'll be the same Brittany Turner if I went broke, I'll be the same Brittany Turner like it does things can't change your value. And I want you guys to hear this. You were born valuable and you are going to die valuable. And no person's opinion of you can change your value.
And I've let that impact how I believed myself in the past when somebody very close to me was putting me down or I didn't get the approval of some leader in my life or some mentor or whatever. And that's again, why it's so important whose voice you're listening to on identity.
You cannot let a human being speak into your destiny and tell you what you are capable of doing, because they cannot see your destiny. They have no idea. So to let them do that is insane. It is insane. I wanted to get that straight and we dive into the story of this island because it's amazing, it's powerful, and it's a really cool and very sexy sound bite, but it is not make me any more valuable. It's a heck of an accomplishment and I'm very proud of what I've had to overcome. To be sitting here right now in the aerial recording lab, or whatever we call this room, with Jeremy Alexander Newsom, one of the greatest teachers and speakers and leaders this earth is ever going to see, I get to sit here with you. And that is such an honor. And that's really the point of this place, is to be able to have and gather greatness so that more greatness is shared into the world. So what is your island? How do you buy your island? When I landed on this place, I was looking at it as a joke. I thought I'd potentially buy some island off of Haiti or some really rough or rougher place.
But when I landed here, I was like, okay, just walking around for fun, getting it in my subconscious that someday this is possible. But when God said, you are supposed to buy this island, I was like, waa.
And it was one of the first times I really doubted that it was possible because it was so big. Islands are not a cheap game. If you're in real estate, most of your cash is deployed in projects. So it's not like I had a spare tens of millions of dollars just chilling ready to buy something and rehab it and turn it into an active site for this stuff.
I didn't, you know, purpose luxury resort.
It's a huge big deal. And so when I'm walking on it, first of all. Oh, wow. Never said this out loud.
Another one.
It was too nice and I didn't feel worthy.
There it is.
Of owning something. So nice.
Thank you.
I woohoo. Weird to share with y'. All. I always pretend like nobody else can hear me. It's just me and you chatting.
My journey has been extremely hard, Extremely hard. And a lot of people would never have been able to go through it. But I don't know if it had to be as hard as it was or if I attracted half these problems without knowing it because I didn't believe in my heart that I was worthy of an easy path, was worthy of having anything just given to me. Because I was raised, that money was evil. I was raised not necessarily by my parents, but like by the society I grew up in. In my community, that money was evil. And so the only way I could justify it is if I had to go through Hell, in order to be entrusted with it. Now, I don't know exactly the path God takes us on for us to be able to be entrusted with this stuff, but apparently that was a path I needed because I had limiting beliefs that I didn't deserve something unless it was so hard. And I earned it because I could never have earned this island.
Bingo.
I was living in my car officially seven years before I first set foot on this. That's not long enough. That's not long enough. Is that long enough? Are you beating yourself up longer than you need to be? Or have you transcended mentally, emotionally, physically, consciously enough to be able to be entrusted with it? And then once you see that picture, are you willing and able to step into that, or now that the dream's presented to you, you sabotage.
I hope everyone realizes how monumentally massive that micro magical mental moment is.
That is incredible takeaway. Because I want everyone to know. I want you to know specifically, as my best friend, that good news. You're the only person that feels that way in the whole world. Yeah, it's just you.
Yes, I knew it.
We, I mean, as humanity, especially the ones that are connected deeply to a purpose, are going to feel that way. We are going to struggle with that. So often. I do not deserve this. I haven't gone through enough. And. And I think one of the things that. We've never talked about this openly ever, until this exact conversation. You and I both attracted way more pain.
So many.
And anguish. That's what this whole freaking podcast is about, is our pain. We have so much wait. We've lost it all. Numerous times.
Too many.
Why did we attract all this? I think that's one of the reasons why, is because we had to battle so much through adversity and conquest and failure over and over and loss. Deep emotional, monetary, spiritual, physical losses. Because we did not feel that we deserved the things that were shown to us at an early age.
I still think it comes from a pure intention.
Absolutely.
But this is super important, especially for the parents listening to, like, watch what you are imparting to your kid and the fear you're trying to instill in them. Are you telling them not to do things in a way that provokes fear in them? Or are you sharing with them how to have a mindset that can attract things easily? So something that God's been imparting to me lately is reminding me I am the daughter of the king, of the creator of the universe. Like. Like, if I truly do believe in God, and I believe that we're his kids. Then why don't I act like it?
Like if there's so much abundance out there, he can literally create worlds.
Yeah.
Planets, beings, thing, all this stuff. If there is no lack there's so much opportunity in the world, why do I act like it's limited or I'm being selfish for wanting? Like my heart is pure? Like I really do want to create a way that's been tested to death. Test it through the fires. Okay, this is my driver. Why would any thought of limitation be holy? If the more limitlessness I walk in, then the more people I can help, then, then, then the thought of limiting myself is so selfish. It's not selfish to be like, you have enough. No, it's selfish to say you have enough.
I'm the same Bernie Turner that lived in her car.
That's that pure intent.
You know, you gotta. What can you be entrusted with to be a force for good? That's the point. When you live that surrendered life, then everything that you're entrusted with for however long you get to have it, you're forced for good with it.
Thank you for saying yes to this podcast. Years ago, for those listening, we also had a second working title called the Acorn.
Oh, it's terrible.
I hated it.
She hated it immediately. But once we broke to what it came, we had PowerPoints and slides and branding within seconds of that title. The reason I thanked you for this. Why would any thoughts of limits be holy?
Why even have a thought of a limit? That's wild. My friends, think about this. Listen to this closely. Abundance has always been there. We create the limitations. Those limitations were given to us through our words, through the beliefs, through the filters that we receive, generally through media. Oftentimes because we are told what to believe, we are told we are given visions through other people's beliefs and perceptions. That's why it's called Tell a Vision Television. Those visions that we have are given to us by other people. These beliefs, these dreams, these aren't ours. We have to test these and really uncover what the limits that we feel and where they came from. When we do that, we can remove them permanently. And yes, sure, just like weeds, other ones will come up. But it becomes a lot easier once you can rehab something to maintain it. And that rehab, that process, I think, is an amazing way for individuals to uncover how they can buy their island. Figure out what it is. Figure out what limits you're placing on yourself. Because my friends, if it's monetary, that's the number one limit most people place on themselves. I feel like in my perception of the world is people go, oh, I can't afford this. I don't have enough money for this. So I even try.
That's the easiest one to overcome.
Yeah, I think, I think inherently humans are good and I think inherently humans want to do good. And so the limits that are placed in our hearts young are warnings. You don't want to be greedy, you don't want to be this, you don't want that to la la la la. Like, money is the root of all you. All these things. If you really break it down, it is always going to be a matter of the heart. If your heart is centered on a give system, then when you throw money at it again, which money is a magnifying glass of the heart, then you can do more good. If you throw money at a greed system, what's your internal operating system? And you can only be on a give system if you truly believe in your heart that you are enough. And that's why we talked about like, you are enough. And from that space, you don't have to do or own or blah, blah, blah, anything. And you are enough. Therefore you can do everything. And from that true deep understanding of being enough.
Then no one can take anything away from you. Therefore, in the root of your life, you can give. And if you don't know you're enough, then you'll always feel like you have to take because there's not enough. And I have to get this in order to be.
And so when that operating system is set straight, that is when you can be entrusted with absolutely anything. And I say entrusted with. And that's why we go back to God won't give you something you can't handle, good or bad. If your system is set right.
You can be entrusted with so much on behalf of. And that's why it's holy. To be accumulating all this stuff is because you can be God's hands and feet when people need it most. You can be that answered prayer. He always uses a vessel. We've talked about that.
Yep.
But I think when I was growing up, I was always everybody's like, who are you? What's your. What's your identity? Like, know who you are? I'm like, what the freak does that mean? Like, know who you are? But I think we just talked about it like inside.
Are you enough?
And that feeling of.
Being enough. I mean, I think Tony Robbins, one of our mentors and people that we looked up to and learned so much from the two biggest fears that humans Have I'm not enough and I'm not loved. When you realize that those fears are the real anchor of most of these dreams. Because you mentioned, oh, this island is too nice. That feeling because you weren't enough. Right. You did not deserve nice things because you haven't been tested by fire yet.
I could have an island as long as it's like a terrible area.
Correct.
That's what I thought.
Yeah. Yep.
Yeah.
My friends use that. I think that the really interesting aspect of what you mentioned earlier, money is a magnifying glass of the heart. That's a new one for me.
Use money. If you want to find out what is in your heart, use that magnifying glass to find out. Right. Figure out ways to give that are scary to you. I've an example. Tipping 100% at every single restaurant you go to for a week or for a month. Maybe it won't be fearful for most people, but some people out there listening will go, oh, I can't do that. That'd be terrifying. I live in Miami. That costs a lot of money. Whatever. Or buy some really, really nice clothing for yourself. Right? Really just put yourself in a different environment with clothing. Could be one that most people would shock you. Because what's going to happen is that magnifying glass. When you start using money to see what's there, you'll start feeling. And those feelings will come up of, I'm not worthy. I'm not enough. I'm not good enough. If you can really, truly analyze them, research them, study them, figure out why, why, why are they there? What are they stemming from? Who told you that you can remove them? They're gone forever. Amplification is your next step.
I don't think we're telling you to go into debt. That's not the point. Or to like, blow money on something that doesn't make sense. The point is, everybody says money changes you. And bullcrap, money reveals you when you stop having to kiss somebody else's butt in order to get through life. Like when you don't have to kiss any butts, who are you? Because that's when you get to be the realest version of yourself. And so it's revealing. And I like your exercise. I think it's very deep. So I want to make sure people don't miss it. It's sensing your way through testing different levels of abundance. But the entire theory of tithing is really assigned to the universe. That that was not your last dollars.
Okay.
And that you are able to make more. Therefore you are in a space enough you are so well off that you can give.
Yep.
That's what it is. That's why it works. It's not like handing money to XYZ gets you more money. It's literally an energetic expression that says, this is not my last dollars.
I have a feeling we're going to talk more about these energetic expressions. Would you agree with?
I guess so.
Welcome to season three of Broke to woke. We love you.
