You very well might be taking shortcuts to success. It's time to stop, and it's very important for you to figure out why. In this episode, we're going to be discussing just that with me wearing the shirt the same way the whole time.
All right, Brittany Turner.
We got eight steps here for the divine code of abundance. But what if I want to get there faster? What if I want to just take shortcuts and just. Just get to 8, get to 9, just have the abundance now can I do that? Is that possible?
You are never going to walk in abundance with shortcuts, but you can definitely look successful with shortcuts. You can.
Do sleazy things to get ahead. You can pay people off. You can, you know, bribes, bribe people. You can hurt people. Like, there's a lot of different ways to, quote, unquote, get ahead. But again, it's always gonna come back on you because you will always know what you've done. And that doesn't mean you can't, like, look back and, like, walk in forgiveness if you are now realizing you wish you hadn't done certain things. But defining success is super important. And it's not what you have, but it's who you are at the top. And so if you shortcut your way into getting there, if you're selling pictures of your feet online, if you're, you know, like we said, hurting people or being emotionally abusive or physically abusive or whatever, like, if you're doing ugly things to get ahead, then are you really successful? Now, I really want to have this amazing and deep conversation with you, but for our listeners who are not watching on YouTube, Jeremy Newsom has now put his shirt on backwards, similar to a hospital.
It looks very nice outfit.
But this is just to entertain our YouTube viewers.
To no end.
To no end.
To no end. This is what we're doing. We're keeping this visually lit for you all.
This is kind of what looking successful versus being successful would be like putting on a fake charade, essentially, to try to say, I need, I want to attract, I want to do this. But like you mentioned, not putting in the work, which was step four of that divine code of abundance. There is a level of success that you can reach by faking it to make it. That's a very popular term. However, there's a very popular phrase, if you will, to trading the markets. Trading stock market is if you receive or really hit a massive winner that you're just not prepared for, you're gonna give it all back. Just a matter of time.
Hmm.
Very similar to the lottery. Most lottery winners who win the lottery, 85% of them go broke within two years.
That's a high percentage to not only lose it, but to go broke.
To go broke and that quick within two years.
Geez.
I know. So that would be an example of a shortcut. I'm not saying the lottery is directly a bad thing. What I am saying is that is evidence of how important the mindset is. Right. If you have a millionaire bank account without the millionaire mindset, millionaire bank account won't last.
No.
Because it's very easy to make the money. It becomes a lot harder to keep it and amplify it and expand it and scale it.
Wow, that's really good. And that would be an example of giving somebody something good that they can't handle.
Yes.
Because it not only. They not only lost it, they lost all the blessings that could have flown from it. And they also are in a worst, worse place than they were before they received it. And so is it really going to end up being a gift if they receive something they can't handle? So that's what we're talking about, people.
You know what's amazing, Brit? I love, and I don't think I've probably thought about this as much as I should, but the future value of a blessing or the future value of money. You've brought that up a few times. I really like that distinction. Because you will say, if you have a gift now and you squander it.
You are not only losing the blessing that you had, AKA the money or the health or the wealth or the knowledge, but you're also foregoing all of the benefits that would have occurred in the future because you were a.
Well, Bishop T.D. jakes explains it as if I gave my keys to my son and said, congratulations, I've given you this new car, and now I want you to go to the store and go buy whatever you want. Is that a blessing to him? You tell me.
No. I would say no.
Maybe.
Could be. Maybe, maybe not.
He said, my son is four years old. Mm. So would it not only not be a blessing to him? Because it sounds like a blessing.
Yeah.
But it's not only not a blessing, he could hurt and kill other people and himself and wreck the car at this time because he is not ready for it. So if you want more blessings, be ready for them.
How though? Like, how do you. How do you become ready for that?
Something that got downloaded to me, like, really early in my career was to mix earthly knowledge, get as much earthly knowledge as you possibly can, invest in gaining and then pair it with heavenly wisdom. Okay, so again, if you'd never taken the time to learn stocks, you can't be guided in stocks. You wouldn't even understand the messages you're receiving.
Right.
It's true.
Again, it's that whole cure to cancer. You don't understand this. So if there's something you're called to do and you're supposed to learn another language to do it, but you never took the time to do it, you can't go do the thing. So get as ready as you can, be as prepared as you can. And again, you do it from a place of being enough. And having fun versus striving, too.
Get paid to play.
Paid to play.
Right. Having fun versus striving. Very important differentiation.
Fine line.
Yeah, there is, because the Striving is the. All right, I want all of these things. Now, keep in mind that these are a very normal human emotion. The. I want a six pack tomorrow, but I also want to eat all the potato chips and cookies and ice cream.
Well, it's also a nice excuse for people who don't want to work hard. Well, that's striving. And it's like. No, it's. Striving is work without surrender to me.
What a definition. Can I drop that down, please? Is it allowed? All right. Thank you. Yes, yes. That's huge. Because the understanding of what has to come in the future is the acceptance and the allowance of not knowing how it will come. But you still have to put in step back to step four, Put in the work. The shortcuts to success will disallow you from fully receiving the blessing.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't even dart after that. Like, what people Write it down. That is so good.
Thanks.
And it's not that you have to, like, punish yourself or make it harder than it has to be. It's literally like doing what it takes to be able to be responsible for that blessing. You know, grow up, learn how to drive a car. You know, be added to the insurance. You know, all the things that you can possibly physically do to be ready and able to drive. Drive that car. And it's. I think that this next generation has so much opportunity. I mean, they're one of the most blessed generations. I'm going to speak on America, because that's what we know the best, you know.
Agreed.
Everywhere is different, but specifically in America, you're growing up with more access to information. You're growing up with more aware parents. Your parents weren't from the great Depression, you know, there's all these different things that you can do or didn't have to suffer through that a lot of previous generations did. Now what is that resulting in for them? I can't tell you yet exactly. Except for we're seeing a lot of bouncing around, a lot of feelings, a lot of not understanding who they are. And the legends that taught us about building a successful mindset and having clarity and putting in the work, those people are getting older. And so it really is important and that that this next generation steps up by living by an example of what's possible for this upcoming generation. What are your thoughts on that?
I'll tell you one of the reasons I also, fun fact, do a lot of these really ridiculous challenges. Speaking of, I have 2,379 push ups left for today.
You've been doing them all morning. My gosh, yes.
There's a lot to go. Is because my life is so easy that I need to create hardships in that life for this reason. Tough times create strong men, right? If you want an easy life, do what's hard. If you want a hard life, do what's easy. That's my boy, E.T.
So that's my take on it is you need to create some type of circumstances. One of our greatest friends and mentors, Neil Gupta, says that one of the best things that you can provide your children is adversity that they can reasonably handle safe environment in a safe environment. So these are these levels of adversity that you can create. So when I do bear crawls, when I was training for the 3.1 bear crawl, Miles, guess who's right there beside me? Not Jason Gabriel. Right. And he did really, really good. He did, but he learned a lot of good lessons. But he also saw me suffer. Okay, so it wasn't just do as you're told. Right? Don't do as I do, do as I say, or whatever that quote is.
People are trying to say, don't do as I do, do as I say. We should Google it. We're one Google away from knowing.
You'll know that is a very, very popular thing among the current generation. Fathers is. And previous fathers is it's very much.
Don'T smoke, but they're smoking, don't do dip, but you see your dad shoving tobacco on his lip, these things will protrude your mind and your subconscious forever. So working out with Gabriel, when I'm doing all these push ups or whatever random event on Christmas Day, he knew that I had to wake up at 3am and run 12 miles before 7am when he got up. So that when they were out there, when everyone's doing their presents, right, I would be there, I'd be present, I'd be ready. And when everyone was taking their afternoon naps, sleeping around one or two o', clock, I had to go run another 13 miles for 25 miles on Christmas Day. I also did on Christmas Eve. Right. Where are we going to do on Christmas Eve? What are we going to do as a family? How are we going to hang out? And all these discussions. Let's go to an ice skating rink. Happened to be 12 miles away. So I ran to the ice skating rink. We all ice skate as a family. It was amazing. It was enjoyable. We took photos and then I ran all the way back completing 24 miles.
Ooh.
Yeah.
Cold. Thinking about it. Sounds miserable. This is the real reason, listeners, that Jeremy keeps taking his shirt off is he's trying to show the results.
Trying to show off.
Guys, push up competition and hard work.
Thank you for noticing that.
YouTube listeners and viewers, please feel free to comment.
Hit me up in the comment section below. Let us know what you think. You put in the work and you will get results. But it is always a challenge and you can create the challenges. Too many people die in comfort, and that is because you chose an easier life. Far too few people will ask me, if this is so easy to get rich, why doesn't everyone do it? Because it's easier not to.
And that sounds like a really annoying statement.
It does.
Sounds so annoying. Yeah. Really. You know, so I, I wouldn't. But it's not. Guys, it is reality. It is. It's. It's easier to go with the flow. It's easier to be like everybody else. It's easier to watch the news. It's easier to be scared. It's easier to complain, it's easier to talk crap. It's easier to be a victim because it is innate in humans to want to help another human.
Yes.
So it's nice to let people feel sorry for you.
100% agree with that.
But is that what you want? And if it is, okay, you're another statistic. But I chose to not be a statistic. I chose to live by example and say women can be more than just valued for our bodies.
Yeah.
That doesn't mean I don't take care of myself. It doesn't mean I'm polar opposite and like, you know, buzzing my head and trying to, you know, I'm not doing those things because I'm still feminine. I'M still healthy, I'm still fit. I stuff. Every girl wants to be beautiful. But am I leading with that? Am I leading with saying, I get open doors because I'm pretty? I get lots of Instagram followers because how great my body is? Is that what you're leading with? Because that' will view you for. If you want to be objectified, put yourself out there as an object again for the haters out there.
I know you haters be our motivators.
I can see it. Yeah, I don't care. They're never going to believe we can do things until we do things.
That's right.
And it's not their fault. So stop being mad that women don't get certain opportunities. You're not getting opportunities because nobody's doing it. When you do it, they'll believe it and then they'll be like, all right, comes possible, seen it done. We're going to trust them with this.
Time to step up.
Yes. So whatever you're wanting to change in this world, the best way to change it, we keep saying this, is to live as an example of what's possible for the pioneers going down a trail that has never been done before. It's going to be harder, it's going to be more painful, and you're going to have more briars and sticks hit you in the face than the 50th person going down the trail.
Why?
Because you're making the trail. Yeah, it's going to be hard. You're going to get lost. You can end up on cliffs. You're going to run into beehives. Like, there's going to be stuff because you're the pioneer until it's normalized. But you're normalizing that which you want to see.
And we talked about that previously, but I'm glad it's coming back up because it's so extremely accurate. Normalize what you want to see. This goes all the way back to step five, the divine code of abundance. Visualize it right. Normalize it in your brain. You want to be on Forbes? Print out a Forbes list. Put your name down. Put your face down. Put your company down. The award that you're going to win. I've heard you've done things like that before.
My mom did that. She's so cute.
She, deb's the best. I was like, shout out to you, girl.
Deb, 18 or something. And she cut out this pageant picture of me and blew it up. Put it on a Forbes magazine and it said, inside thee. And she covered it up. And put Ariel Empire. And I was like, so that picture's been on my vision board this whole time to be the front cover of Forbes. You heard it here first.
Quick question though. Is it true that you did make it to Forbes recently?
I've been in Forbes like 12 times, thankfully. What a blessing. But I haven't been freaking cover yet. No baby steps, people. We're getting there. We're getting there.
No shortcuts to success.
No shortcuts. You've got to live with you.
That's it.
You've got to live with you. You know what you've done. You know your heart. And though somebody might look like they are winning on the surface and they might be getting ahead farther than you and faster than you, it does not mean that that is how you want to be successful.
Live as an example of what's possible. Normalize it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is your opportunity. This is your chance. Prioritize, schedule, create it. Make it happen. And show everyone in the world what is possible with your actions. And there's one more action that you should take right now that will change your life forever.
Oh, what is it?
