You know, we're back for season four of Broke to Woke. Why are we keeping the word woke? We're discussing that in this episode, plus randomly, what's the best investment you can make in your home? We're going to talk about all of that and more in this episode.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, friends and family from around the entire world, we are back. We're back with, with season four, the highly awaited, keenly anticipated edition. I'm so thrilled and honored to be here with the Brittany Faith Turner for a fourth season where we are inspiring, where we're enriching. We're going to pour in content and value to every single person either listening or watching all around the world, especially to our fans in Lithuania.

We have so many things we're going to get into in season four is the place where we're changing the game once again.

It's been a year, Brittany. A lot of amazing new developments in your life, my life. But we're going to start with all the individuals out there who have asked us the question, are you changing the name Broke to Woke?

And the answer is no. No, we're not changing for nobody that. You said we were here first.

Yeah.

Some people may have taken the word woke into a completely wild direction, but that is never what we have meant. Broke to Woke is about living life awake, intentional, not drifting, truly living that life by design because you are aware of the power that you hold inside yourself to not just be here and enjoy, but to make a difference, to really start to provide for the needs of the world because you recognize the gift, power and responsibility that it comes from being able to even be a listener to this podcast. If you are listening to this, you are so fiercely Blessed. You may not even understand. You still might be on the broke spectrum, but you are on your way to being what we call the woke spectrum, which is again, being aware to the power in which you hold.

People have definitions. They can create their definitions. And we're not here to cater to everyone, but we are here to pour into those entrepreneurs, those business owners, or the individuals that want to step into the calling of their wealth. Why are they here? What is their purpose? What is their direction for their money? And how are they actually making an impact? How are they leaving a legacy? I heard a really cool quote from a new video that you, Dr. Billy Alsbrooks, and your husband created, where I think Dr. Billy Alsbrook said that legacy is my uniform. What uniform are we wearing? How we're going to continue to wear it? If we had to redefine the word woke so that it suits our standards, what would it be? Brittany?

Well, today's episode, we're going to make it an acronym. Yeah, we're going to make it the wealth of knowledge and empowerment.

That's what it means to us in this episode. Is it going to change in the next one? Sure, probably because it's allowed to. We're allowed to change. But what I'm here to say is our goal is to provide true, amazing content for those who want to become empowered, inspired, wealthy, abundant, prosperous. We just finished the Abundance Summit here on Ariel bvi.

It was lit, it was, it was amazing.

Straight up fire. What was one of your bigger takeaways, Britt?

This trip we actually took people off island over to another island and walked people through houses that needed to be renovated. And so we talked a lot about real estate investing this trip because that is one of the, you know, biggest paths to wealth. And it is also a common denominator for all wealthy people, including stocks and owning businesses. And so instead of talking about it, you know, you could read about how to swim.

What's life like when you actually try to swim?

Some point I gotta get in the water.

So we took em into the water, we took em into those houses, we made em run budgets, we made em analyze it, we made em run comps, understand. How would you, where would you even start? How would you do this project? Why is it valuable? And to watch people who have dreamed about real estate investing for five, 10 years go through with experts and be able to ask their questions and to watch them give themselves permission to actually try and they went home so confident and we've already got people sending us deals that they're wanting to Do. And so just asking for advice, asking for coaching. So the takeaway for me is to our listeners, we love sharing this information with you, but we want to hear how are you applying it? Where are you getting stuck? How can we help you even further? Because taking it from knowledge to action is quite the jump. And again, when you can get yourself in the room with people who are where you want to be, that is really the game changer for your life. What was your top takeaway?

It's one of the biggest secrets. Yeah. The two dozen people that we had going around the island. We were looking at homes, but not only homes of Brittany. Right. We talked about.

I looked at hotels.

Exactly. We did flips. We talked about short term rentals. We had talked about buying a hotel. How is buying a hotel a different asset class than buying what? We looked at a 3 million dollar and we looked at a $20 million single family resident on 20 acres beachside beachfront. It was vacant. We discussed different ways and different types of financing, other ways you can get creative with it. One of my bigger takeaways in that, as you know, you already know it's going to be was I was asking about this one particular home. The first home that we visited. It was a three parcel building and this cute, beautiful old lady was living there. She wanted to sell it. And the decks were super tiny and it was a beautiful view of the mountains, of the beach. And I was like, we need to renovate this deck. And you said. Yep. And for every dollar you put in, you're going to get a dollar of return.

Yep. The great Paulie Kazanowski taught me that one. 100% return on your deck investment. It's huge. And it doesn't even seem like it would because there's not a per, a heated per square foot value attached to it. But people will pay for being outdoors. That's our innate connection and desire to be connected to nature.

Invest in your decks. That's the. That was a. Definitely a takeaway, strong deck game. You need. You need a powerful deck game. Absolutely. But my big takeaway was a redefinition for me of the word universe. Right. Spelling it Y O U. Universe being how large we are internally. The space on a relative term between atoms and cells is equival equivalent to the spaces between planets. If you're really, really starting to zoom out, the universe is inside of us as well.

Right.

We are created. I love that stargazing exercise that we did. Who was the woman that led that again? Was it Lily?

Jules.

Jules. She did such A good job. And she talked about how we're all really. I mean, created to create. That's what we're here for. We have elements of stardust in us and talked about the universe and like, all these planets. Like, it was just. It was just cool experience for me because the number one quote that you rocked my world with our words, create our world. That world is internal, ladies and gentlemen. And we want to continue down this journey in these seasons, in these episodes to make sure that you are getting at least. I mean, since you're spending $5,000 to listen to each one of these episodes.
