EP 584: Unleashing the Power of Community, Content, and Consistency
30 Jan 2026 · 1 min
Host Jesse Ewell delivers a solo training on monetizing a Facebook community using a four-part framework: Community, Content, Case Studies, and Closing Conversations. He explains how to build and engage an ideal-audience Facebook group, create results-focused content to drive interaction, turn client results into relatable case-study interviews, and use a structured closing conversation (mostly via DMs/texts) to convert engagement into sales. He cites a real example: three clients converting to >$30K in revenue and $23K cash collected in seven days, and emphasizes consistency and sales-closing skills as critical.

Let's go.
All right, all right, all right. Welcome guys, to today's training. And inside this Facebook group, I want to walk you through a step by step process of exactly how I have been able to produce an extra 20k in just 7 days. Leveraging my Facebook group. Now, as we get into today and this training, you're tuning in live, I want you to hashtag live, you're watching the replay, simply hashtag replay. But I want you to take out a piece of paper and we're going to go through this training and I'm going to give you a framework of how you can do this. Now, some of you may be watching this and you may think, well, I have a brick and mortar business, so this doesn't apply to me. That's actually not true. If you have a brick and mortar business, it applies to you. If you have a virtual business, this applies to you. If you have a hybrid model of business, this is going to apply to you. And so everything that I'm going to teach you today is going to be conducive to either one of those types of businesses. So this training is going to be a step by step process of exactly what I did in order to do this. Now, there's going to be four Cs. And before I give you what those are, basically these four Cs are exactly the steps that I took to do this. Now, some of you may be able to do this, but if you have a Facebook group right now, it doesn't really matter. If you have 500, a thousand, you know, 10,000 people, you also have to understand a few things. If you're not showing up consistently on, you know, you're in your Facebook group, I highly recommend you do that first. But if you have one, these are some simple things that you can leverage immediately just to simply begin to do this. So everything I'm going to teach you today is going to be exactly what I did in order to do this. So let's talk about. Let's talk about these and break them down. Number one, again, if you guys are watching this hashtag live, you're. You're. Maybe you're watching back through the replay. You can hashtag replay, but I want you to have a piece of paper out and you're going to begin to write these down. Now, I'm going to draw this out because I'm a visual person, and I feel like when people draw things out for me, it's much easier for me to participate and pay attention. So if you guys are watching this right now, you kind of have this inside scoop. So we're gonna talk about these four C's to making an extra 20k in seven days. Okay? So number one is this community. In today's marketplace, you have to have a community, a group that connects with your audience. And what do I mean by this? This means that whether you have a brick and mortar business, you have a virtual business, or maybe you have some type of hybrid model where you can take people virtually, you can take them in person. It has never been easier to build a community than it is today. A Facebook group is the exact place that you can build a community. So if you have a Facebook group, great. I'll walk through a few things that you can do to kind of restart it if it's dead. If you don't have one, you can definitely build one. Okay, there's a. Literally a Facebook group for everything today. But here's what I'll. Here's what I'll say. Number one, your community has to be about your ideal prospect or ideal client, okay? And what I mean by that is this is not just someone you can work with. This is someone that you really, truly want to work with, okay? That ideal prospect has specific wants. They have specific problems they need solved, and they have a pain that they would like to get rid of, okay? And then they also have things that they'd like to learn. Your job in this community is to truly find out about, you know, what that is. What do they want? What problems do they have? What pain do they want to get rid of? And what would they like to learn more about? Now, the simplest way to find this out is just simply by asking them these things. Now, most people, when it comes to their community, they make it all about them, how smart they are, all the things that they can teach other people and then they wonder why nobody wants to participate in their community, Nobody wants to be a part of it. Okay, so community is simply a central location to where people can congregate. So I'm going to give you an example. So I had a personal TR2 personal training facilities. In about 2013, 14, we began to see more and more people showing up on social media. And one of the things that I started to do was create a Facebook group. One first was paid, second one was not paid. Now the not paid one we pushed everybody into that was a potential prospect or, or a client. One of the things that this allowed us to do was to have a central community, central communication platform to where everybody was, would know what we were doing. So we would provide training, we would provide, you know, opportunities for people to, you know, get into conversations. We would understand what people wanted, what problems they had, what things they were dealing with. It just became a place for a community to congregate. So if you have a brick and mortar business, you're going to get beat out because social media offers you a community aspect that your, you know, your walk in facility, your brick and mortar facility does not. What do I mean by that? That means that every time someone comes into your brick and mortar location, depending on how much time you spend with them, depending on how you interact with, there's only a certain amount of you and the people in your business to go around. But guess what? If they're online and they're in a community, I can record a video like this. They could watch this video over and over. They could interact in this video over and over, and they can constantly see me through my content over and over. This is something that cannot happen in a brick and mortar setting. Combining them is huge. Yes, I believe in community in a brick and mortar setting, but I really believe that the top of mind awareness and the community aspect of them always seeing you and the consistency in that draws them even more. And so, you know, this is a huge thing. And remember, consistency is the key to what people, where people put their money. And as much as, you know, we want to talk about how good you are at what you do, it's the consistency that actually gets people to want to work with you. Okay, so number one C is community. I built a community of people. I got to understand what they want. I began to ask them what problems they need help with. I began to ask them what pain they want to get rid of. And I asked them what they wanted to learn. Second thing is content. I began to Create content that's focused on results, it's focused on giving people the opportunity to engage. And it's something that people actually want to pay attention to. I'm asking questions, I'm creating content, I'm creating conversation that they normally would not get anywhere else. This gets people to pay attention. Okay? The content is really about teaching people exactly how you want them to engage. So here's the big thing. Most people want to talk about themselves. Most people want to tell everybody how smart they are. Very few people want to talk about how you can potentially help someone solve a problem or how you could potentially help them learn about the things they want to learn. You, you're not giving people content that's focused on enroll results and it's not focused on engagement, it's focused on how smart you are. Now this content is going to be a big deal and I'm going to tell you why. Because if your content doesn't get engagement, it it simply just means your content is not connecting with your audience. And a lot of people, what they do is they'll go like, well, I'll go to Instagram and then they don't connect to Instagram. So then they're like, well, I'll go to TikTok. And then it doesn't connect to TikTok. So it's not the platform's problem, it's your contents problem. Okay? And so one of the things that I always work on is like, hey, what is. So let's say the step to you making $20,000 is four steps. If I give you two that gets you half of the way there, you're going to need help with the other two. And that's where we're able to get into a conversation. But my content needs to work people through at least step one and step two of a problem. But the biggest thing is, is we have to get into results based content that drives engagement. Because engagement gets people to consistently see your content, see you, and then when they decide they want to do something, what ends up happening is they look to you for this. Now the other thing is, is you provide training. So think about this. Right now you're on a training, learning how to make an extra 20k in 7 days. So I built a community. I consistently post content and provide value. I give people what they want. I give people the opportunity to engage. I give people the opportunity to raise their hand and say, yes, I want those results. And that's all done through my content. Now you might be asking what's best to post consistently okay, so what is best to post on a day to day basis is something consistently? Is it a video? Is it, you know, just an engagement post? Is it a real, Is it, you know, some type of transformation post? Is it a results post? Honestly, it doesn't matter. It's a combination of all of them. You just need to be posting consistently because who people buy from now more than ever are the people that show up the most consistently. Okay? So as you're writing this down, step one is you got to have a community, okay? You got to have a community or you got to have a place where your community can congregate online. Okay? Then you have to have content, okay? You have to have content that's going to be results based. It's going to be give people the opportunity to engage and you're going to teach them exactly what you want them to do. To engage. There has to be some type of consistency in your content and you got to provide a deeper level of value and training. What does that mean? That means that your training has to be something that someone can take with them, implement, and begin to solve their first problem. Here's what I'll tell you guys. I can't tell you how many people reach out to me consistently and they'll say, hey, I watched your training. I, I can't believe everything that you give out in your training because a lot of your free stuff is better than the majority of stuff I pay for. It actually helps solve a problem. And these people tell me that all the time. So don't ever be afraid of giving so much value to people that it actually helps them solve the first problem, the second problem, because guess who they're going to ask for help when they get stuck? They're gonna ask you because you provided them the most amount of value. Now, three is going to be case studies. So here's what's changed in the last two to three years. The marketplace has gotten smarter. The, the potential prospects, the potential people have gotten smarter. People want social proof. And what I mean by social proof is they don't want, you know, the standard Google things or Yelp reviews or even Facebook reviews. They want a real conversation with a real person that they sit there and talk to, an interview where they're like, hey, where were you, you know, before you started working with us? And I'll give you an example. Two people came into our program over the last week and it was because of the case studies that we had in our group, which is driven from the content. One of them was like, hey, I've been following you for the last six months. I watched a case study of a client that the story they told was exactly my story and got to be relatable. So a case study has to be relatable. It can't be some cheesy, you know, thing like that. It has to be relatable. And here's what I'll say. If you guys are not getting results with your people, then you are going to be your number one case study. If you are getting your results with people now, you need to start leading with a relatable story that you can begin to translate and help people tell. So every time a client gets results in our program, we turn these into a case study. I turn them into a 15 to 20 minute interview. The reason why I do that is because I want to interview our clients and I want them to know, hey, here's where you were when we first met. Here's some of the things that you struggled with. And these are the results that you've gotten working with us. These are the results you've earned and gotten for yourself by doing the work. And I want people to recognize the work that they're doing because that allows them to truly buy into our program and buy into what they're doing. Okay? So every client that we have or that we have that is getting results is always going to be doing a case study at some point, because we want people to be relatable to other people. We want to demonstrate a level of consistent results in our program because we know this, that no one else is doing that. I want to be the best at getting an ROI and getting people results. And we want to demonstrate that in the marketplace so people actually trust us, they get to know us and they like us because they see a consistent pattern of results. And so my content drives engagement to my case studies. My case studies begin to build know, like and trust, and it tells a relatable story to our ideal clients. So really, this all goes hand in hand. If you think about it, my case study is my ideal client. Okay? If you don't have a case study, then you end up being your own case study for a while until you've worked with enough people. But your ideal client, their pain, their problems, their wants, desires, line up with your content, which then translates into your case studies. So my case studies a lot of times give us ideas on content so that we can begin to communicate at the level of our clients. So it's not about us. It's not about how smart I am. It's not about how good my program is. It's always about our clients, and it's always about a potential problem and a potential result that people truly want. And so this process that we walk through is the exact process that gets us into the last piece. Closing conversations. So there's a few things that I've talked about, like, the main things that have really changed that I see in the marketplace, you know, just say in the last three years. Number one is you got to have an online community, a place for your people to congregate. Even if you have a brick and mortar business, it just allows you to bring more people in and it allows you to reach more people. Okay? So I want you to think about this. In. In a. In a community, you go out, you meet people one to one, okay? One plus one now equals two. The difference is, is, you know, let's say I. I go out and I meet 10 people a day. That might take me two to three hours. The average business owner does not have that amount of time anymore to meet people. But guess what? I can meet thousands. I can be in front of thousands of people just by the palm of my hand. And not only that, the one video that I'm making right now is going to consistently replay to, you know, 3,500 people just in my group, which then could multiply. I can put this out on my podcast. I can put this out through other trainings, YouTube, I can put it out into reels, and so it really allows me a multiplication effect, and so my community can multiply. Leveraging social media, where, you know, you can't do that in person at the same level. So all of these things drive into what we call a closing conversation. So here's. Here's what I want you to know. Nobody talks on the phone anymore. Very few people answer their phone. If you do, great, that's awesome. But most people are communicating in text. Most people are communicating in dms. So you need to have a frame to find out exactly the problem your client potentially has and how you might be able to help them solve that. If you don't have a frame, you can't control the conversation. And if you can't control the conversation, you'll never get to a place where you could potentially book them on a call or book them to come into your business. And so these things are skills that three years ago, five years ago, you didn't really need. Maybe seven years ago, you didn't need it all. Now, today, I believe marketing and sales are going to be the biggest Things specifically this way in the next two to three years that if you don't know how to do this, you're going to get left behind. These are skills that are unspoken, but these are skills that everybody struggles with. So whether somebody's doing Facebook ads, they don't know how to close to get people in, they blame it on a marketing company, they blame it on their employees, but ultimately it's your business. So guess what? If you don't take responsibility for it, it's not going to change. Okay? So what I want you to understand in this conversation is if you don't know how to get people into your office from social media, that is a sales skill and a closing skill. Most suck at this. I'm going to say 99% of people suck at this. I'm going to actually probably say 99.5 suck at it. Now listen, this is a skill that can be trained. This is a skill that can be learned. Many of the people that come into our program, if they just learn this one skill, they'll make an extra 10k a month just doing this one skill. Okay? So when I say this, this is the most important skill you can learn in the next two to three years, okay? As a business owner, I don't care if you do brick and mortar. I don't care if you do virtual. This is a skill that most people don't worry about. Okay? So you have to be different in the marketplace if you want different results. Okay? Today's marketplace, you got to learn how to close, and you got to learn how to have closing conversations. There's specific frameworks to find out exactly what someone's problem is, you know, what their pain is, how you could potentially help them. There's a specific framework you take once people look at your content, interact with it, and you're able to get into conversation. There's specific ways that we frame up our case studies that drives people to want to make a decision and want to learn more. This is how we get into closing conversations. This requires a special framework. This framework alone is worth a minimum of 10k a month. Okay? Even if you're not running ads, you're not doing any of that. It's not. It's worth 10k a month if you're running ads. If you're, you're using social media, it's probably closer to 20 to 30k. Okay? Could even be 40k a month. And think about it this way, 20k extra a month to the average person brings in an extra 250 million, 250,000 a year. That's like a whole new business in itself. So understanding these closing conversations is going to be key. There's a lot of people I see that can get people to pay attention to them, but they can't close conversations. And that's where they get stuck. So whether you're doing Facebook ads or you might be doing Facebook organic, these are going to be the most important pieces. Once someone is interacted as a case study, once someone's interacted as your content, this is going to drive sales opportunities. Obviously, the more sales opportunities we have, the more potential opportunity we have. So three clients come into our program, come into my Facebook group. They've all three been in there for a period of time. I do an interview case study. I set my content up. That's like, hey, who wants to see my live interview on my client who did xyz? They raise their hand. I push them to the case study. Once they watch the case study, hey, I want to learn more about your program. Three people. Three people close. And we do over $23,000 in cash collected from those three people. That's over $30,000 in sales. But we collected over $23,000 in cash. Okay, so it wasn't even 20K. It was actually 30K, but 23K cash collected. But it all started with the setup. You gotta have gotta have the right people in the group. You gotta have the right content, and you gotta have the right case studies, and you gotta learn how to have that closing conversation that turns into 23,000 in a week's worth of work and 30,000 in total revenue using the framework of four Cs. Now, here's what I'll tell you guys if you're watching this. Step one, community. Step two, content. Step three, case study. Step four, closing conversation. This is the exact process that I used. Okay? Now, this process has probably brought me in, you know, multiple seven figures just in the last two years, three years. But this process is not just something I've used in the group. It's something I can use everywhere. Whether people come in, you know, through website, whether people come in through different channels, this is the same ability that we're going to constantly push people through because they need the consistency of seeing us. They need the consistency of seeing the results we help people get that drives the conversation that we can have. So if you guys are watching this, you're like, hey, I don't have a Facebook group. Awesome. Start with step one. Maybe you're someone who has a Facebook group, but it's dead. That's going to come back to your content. Are you actually posting content that's getting people to engage with it? Number three, are you actually demonstrating results that you're helping people get? If not, and you're doing content, but you're not doing a good job at demonstrating the results, then you need to tell more of your clients stories. You need to demonstrate more of the results you're getting. Maybe you're doing all three, but you don't know how to close. Well, the reason you don't know how to close is because you're not using a specific framework that drives people into the conversation. Remember, it's, it's not about me and how smart I am. Okay? So it's not like, hey, here's what I can help you do. I can help you make, you know, extra $20,000 a month. My program's awesome. I'm the best ever. It's not about that. It's always about the problem that that person has. Because once I know their pain and problem, I can take them where they want to go. And I'm going to give you guys the best example. What is the closing conversations are kind of like getting into a taxi cab. Okay? You simp the taxi cab driver every time you get in the car. They simply ask you like, hey, where do you want to go? And then once they say that taxi cab driver takes them exactly where they want to go, well, sales is no different. Hey, where do you want to go? What's the problem that you're facing? What's the pain that's, that's happening from the problem? That's simply asking them where they want to go. And if you're like, hey, if I could help you, if I could help take you where you want to go, would you want to go? Most people are like, well, yeah, duh, of course I would. And so that is really the framework of sales conversations is finding out where people want to go and then simply asking them like, hey, if you do you want to go there? I could, if I could possibly help you get there faster, but I could possibly help you get you there quicker and with less effort. Because I know this, that if I could get you there with less effort and I could accelerate you getting there faster, that means that you're learning at a much higher level. And here's what I know. Today people are learning. The speed they're learning is too slow and it's causing them to lose money, it's causing them to lose time, and they're putting in way Too much effort to try to figure it out on their own. And in doing that, it's costing them three times more than it is if they just paid somebody to learn it. Okay, so think about it. If it's costing you more time, it's costing you more energy and it's costing you more money because it's slower in the process of learning. It's three times higher than you just investing someone to help you accelerate. Now some of you are going to be like, well, what if it doesn't work? Or what if all these things, I get it, like these are all conversations that everybody has it all the times. But I know this not doing anything and trying to figure it out on your own is still three times more expensive than you investing in something and maybe not getting results, but you're still moving forward and learning something new. Okay, so here's what I want you guys to do now. If you're listening to this, I want you to write down comment the one thing that you're learning from this conversation. If you want specific help with building out the strategy on your Facebook page or just generally in your business how this applies, just comment hbo. I'll reach out to you. We can jump on a call and see if I can possibly help you. We can't help everybody, but there are, you know, some that we can help. If you're listening to the podcast, maybe you're watching YouTube. What I want you to do on this is I want you to just simply email me Jesse habitbaselifestyle.com we can get into a conversation and see if we could help. But this is the exact step by step framework I use inside my group that converts 23k in 7 days, 30k total revenue. But guys, comment right now. What's the biggest takeaway if you want to comment? Hbo, you want to get on a call, see if we could help. This is a simple way to do it. Thank you guys so much for tuning in. Hope you guys have an amazing rest of your week and we'll see you back here next week.
