In this informal YouTube short, two speakers discuss a recent girl‑group performance competition. They first list the members of the competing teams—Emmy (Andy Crocker, Vorge Gum, Bombalicious, Katana, Merks, Taylor Sheesh) and Emmy La Chicas (Dixie Decoy, Gully Gush, Manza, Marine Biology, Miswa, Valeria)—and note which team each performer belongs to (Orange, Teal, etc.). The conversation shifts to personal preference, with Speaker B favoring the Orange team and Speaker A expressing a desire to be on Marine Biology’s (part of Emmy La Chicas) team because of perceived chemistry among Monza, Marine, and Valeria. They debate whether judging was done individually rather than as groups, concluding that the Orange team performed better overall despite not winning. A notable mishap is highlighted: during a routine, Taylor Sheesh’s costume slipped, exposing her panties and giving the appearance of a diaper, prompting laughter. The speakers then explore what makes a good group, emphasizing trust, synergy, and clean execution, and critique the Teal team for lacking these qualities. The dialogue ends with agreement that synergy is crucial for group success.

Chapters

The hashtag Emmy is Andy Crocker, Vorge Gum, Bombalicious, Katana, Merks, and Taylor Sheesh. Emmy La Chicas is Dixie Decoy, Gully Gush, Manza, Marine Biology, Miswa, and Valeria. Which team would you have wanted to be in?
The orange team.
The orange team. So that would have been Miswa's team, which was Emmy La Chicas. Why would— but the thing is, they didn't win. So why would you— They didn't win?
Girl! No, but they were judged individually, not as a group. You're right. Yeah. That's why I'm asking you, which team do you think was better? I thought as a group the orange team was better. Okay, I agree.
Yeah, I would have wanted to be on Marine Biology's team because I think Monza and Marine and like Valeria, I think they would have helped and really gotten us together. I would have preferred to be on theirs.
They work really well together and they were cleaner as well in terms of execution. And you know, um, Merx herself said, you know, this is the death of me as a choreographer, and she, she led the teal team. Girl, there was— okay, we're gonna talk about the girl group now, okay? But there was just this scene Yeah, while they were dancing and Taylor, she turned around and her panties showed and she looked like she was wearing a diaper! Girl!
Girl! I will say, sometimes it is hard to get that right padding look. What do you think makes a good group?
A good group really— it takes a while to develop the team dynamics. And it takes a lot of trust. with each other, and, and, and that will carry you as a group, uh, in any situation. Because if someone fucks up, then the other knows what to do. But if you don't trust each other at the get-go, it's not gonna go well. And I think that's what happened to Teal team, in my opinion.
You think there wasn't the same kind of synergy that the Orange team had? No, I don't think so. So synergy is very important in a group? Yes.
