Check out this heart-wrenching photo by this photographer, Carol Ghazi, who photographs ICE separations at the federal courts. This photo's caption says, "A security guard sheds tears witnessing the anguish of a family after her husband was detained by ICE." I'm just really moved by this photo because it really shows the human empathy that happens on both ends. The security guard is showing human empathy despite the fact that he was there to do his job and maintain that separation that just happened. I just wanted to talk about this because I'm wondering if my brother, who is a Maga, still has this kind of empathy. I wonder if he still remembers how our very own family was separated because of these immigration rules. I wonder if my Maga brother remembers how hard it was to not have parents at home. I wonder if he remembers how hard it was to be separated at the airport. When my siblings left, including my Maga brother, I brought them to the airport, and I really remember how difficult it was. Um, me and my youngest sister, we clasped each other's hands until they really had to forcibly separate us. And I was the only one left behind, and I had to say goodbye to them. It was really difficult, and I wouldn't wish it to any other family. And I wonder if my Maga brother remembers this, remembers where he comes from and how our family got here. I also wonder if all the other MAGA supporters who are immigrants also remember their own family separations and their struggle on how to get here to find for a safer place for their families, a place where they can build better futures and better living situations for themselves, which is what we did as a family. I just wanted to put the focus on this photographer who's really, really good at capturing all these heart-wrenching moments. Please check out her IG bio. It's Carol Guzzi. I think we all need to be reminded of the human side of this, what happens at the core of family separation. And I hope that we can all relate to that, even the MAGA people. I think that to be with family is a basic human right, and no one should be subjected to such inhumane experience. I know it is inhumane because I've experienced it myself, and I wouldn't want to wish it to anyone else. I just wanted to do this video because the family separations are continuing to happen. People are still disappearing, and I don't think it's gonna get better. Anytime soon, they are forwarding with expansion of these immigration enforcement activities. So I think it is important to not forget and not be desensitized about what's happening and that we keep remembering what this issue to the core is, and this is about family separation. And yeah, that's all. Thank you.
