Sa. Sa. Sam sa. It. Count. Well, well, well. Hello there everybody. Oh my God. So many people in chat. Welcome to another live stream on this YouTube channel. I personally was super looking forward to this because this is like one of the realest points of interaction that we get on the Internet, I think at all. So welcome to all the viewers. Super international chat. From what I can see already, people, people know the deal. I usually ask where you from? Just to show how international this community is. But so let me do this one more time and officially welcome everybody to the very first live stream of this week. There's going to be multiple. We have a packed agenda here. Okay? The next 58 minutes are going to be very packed with very interesting and value packed AI related topics. I'll give you the outline in a second here. But first let me just ask where are you from? Where are you sitting right now? Go head on over to chat. Use that little chat box. I myself am in Lisbon, Portugal right now. I would love to see where everybody is from. I see a lot of familiar faces here in chat already and I can see sunny Florida coming in. Palm Beach, Florida. Second one, rainy Denmark. So sorry to hear that, man. Been in Denmark last week and rainy and cold indeed. But what a beautiful country. Like everything is just super clean and super well organized. Also very kind people. Everyone I met. We have UK coming in. Look at that. So many different countries. Oh, and also who do we have here? Wow, look at all these countries. Germany, Alabama, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Ohio, Germany again, Guten tag. Lebanon, Qatar. Man, this is amazing. Okay, so we have a truly international audience here. Right? So what are we going to do with that? Also, Lauren Nicholson, thank you so much. Much appreciated. Good to have you here in this live environment. What we're going to do today is first of all, we're going to have a bit of a chat. Okay? This format is going to be less of a super edited, hyped, speedy video and more of a, hey, let's hang out for an hour and talk all things AI. Now, I do have an agenda for today and for this week. As you might have seen, we planned a bunch of streams and I think this is going to be absolutely amazing. It's something I wanted to do in a minute. I really wanted to do like a week where I stream every day. This is almost every day. And I don't know, I guess for myself, I just set the bar so high in terms of like it has to be content packed that we did it. But if this goes well, I would love to. I'LL say it now, I'll say it again, but I would love to maybe introduce some sort of regular streaming schedule because there's so much we can do in this format that we can't do in videos. So without further ado, what's the plan today? What are we going to cover? Okay, we have 56 minutes left. We're going to do exactly one hour today. The other ones later this week are going to be longer. So first things first, I just want to point out that there's going to be multiple streams this week. Okay. And I want to show you a little graphic that we prepared here. Right here. I'm going to put it up on screen. So like this next to me. How does that look? I can, I can scoot over so we can have a look together. Okay, so basically there's five streams coming up on this YouTube channel. This is going to be the first one. You know, AI changed my life. Tell us your story. Basically, we're going to issue a public challenge with price money, real cash prizes, more on that in, you know, three to five minutes. I would say we're going to do a challenge where people get to, you know, share their story with AI. I think this is amazing because we got so many of these via email and in the community already. Some of them are so inspiring. So we just figured, hey, let's make this a public thing too. Let's extend this beyond the private community, let's bring this to the public and see what happened in your life and you can win some prizes along the way and learn about AI tools also. Right? Because like every life changing story includes some tools and techniques that you can maybe adapt or get inspired by. I don't know. I know I have been by all the stories I've heard. We'll talk about more. We'll talk more about this in a second here. Okay, so that's one thing we're going to do. Secondly, we're going to spend about 20 to 30 minutes going over this tier list. So I'll share my screen here briefly. This is basically, you might be aware, familiar, like we're publishing once a month. We're updating our LLM platform tier list. And what we actually do in the community is we meet like this in our office hour setting, that's what we call it. And basically I always joke that it's sort of like having a cup of coffee with me. And we're going to go through this list and look at all these tools one by one and have a little discussion here between the chat in YouTube and the chat in the community and me blabbering here. We're going to have a little discussion on is this ranking correct? What is new for each one of these tools over the past week? We're just going to be talking about the updates that happened in November and should anything new be introduced to this list? Spoiler Alert. X with Grok 2 shipped a bunch of things. So we're going to have to discuss where that belongs on this list. Otherwise we're going to be re ranking and discussing if all these rankings are correct and what's new for all of these tools. Okay, so like a holistic LLM platform discussion, that's what we're going to be doing here in tandem. Okay. Going to be more of a dialogue, less of a monologue. I'm very much looking forward to what you guys think. So yeah, Grok is we're adding that to the list so it's at the bottom. So we'll get to that, Randall, don't worry. No worries. So that's another thing we'll be doing. And then last but not least, I wanted to tell you a little bit more about the other streams this week. Okay. Because that's the outline for today's stream. But what are we going to do in the other streams this week? Let me scoot over again. Here we are. So as you can see, this is the schedule. We shared it on social media, we shared it on YouTube, we sent it out by email to our newsletter list. So some of you might know, some of you might not know. We planned a grand total of five streams this week and each one of them is going to have something unique. So today's stream I just told you about, that's what we're going to do today in the next hour. Wednesday is going to be one that has been very highly requested and it's actually sort of a format that we do within the community. We're going to bring it to the public. So in the community we call this the AI workbench and we basically take practical problems of community members that can be solved within a reasonable time frame and then we do a live session where we sort of workshop it together and we implement the solution. And if we hit a roadblock, we figure it out and we find a way to get around it. Okay, so this can, this mostly includes some form of automation. That's why we're also doing this. But in some cases it's also prompt engineering or business related or even creative things in some cases, like one of the workbenches in the community was, for example, somebody wanted a custom tattoo and they wanted to design it with AI, like a shoulder piece, like a big one. And then we spent an hour, more than an hour, developing that in a group setting. So we're going to be doing that on Wednesday and concretely, we're going to be doing it for an automation that I showed you on this channel. It's the Research Anyone automation that uses a combination of perplexity and make to scrape LinkedIn and then takes the data and runs it through LLM to create a little report for you that preps you for a meeting. And what we're going to be doing is one, we're going to be customizing it so it works with something besides an ocean database. That's one thing that was really requested in the comments and our emails. And secondly, I'll also be showing you how to bring in even more custom data. So you might have call transcripts, for example. Obviously you would need, if they're internal and you need the rights to them, but if you have call transcripts of the person, you could also feed them into the automation and use that as a part of the context to generate your report. And all of a sudden your report is not just going to be based on what's on the Internet, but also some of the private data you might have. Really powerful way to use LLMs. So we'll be doing that live. This is going to be a longer stream. That's going to be Wednesday. I'll have one, maybe even two guest appearances. Let's see. By the way, all of these might have guest appearances except of today. So just something to look forward to. But basically we're going to customize this. Michal is going to come on that helped me build this automation and he's going to show us live. He's going to be there to answer any questions. So anybody using this automation, this is going to be your chance. We're going to have a two hour live stream Q and A workshop format, showing you how to build this stuff in practice. So I think that's really cool. That's Wednesday. Let me do some of the other ones because we have a lot to get to here today. The next one is the best way to save money on Black Friday using AI. So that's sort of a, that's a bit more on the clickbaity side, I would say the title, but I think it is really accurate as to what we're going to do inside. So I'm going to show you a few prompting techniques that relates to Black Friday. One of them is building a little assistance. That's going to be super fast. We did that many times on the channel. Just building a little GPT to assist you through your Black Friday. Other one is going to be using some LLMs to assist you in your shopping. But basically this is going to be more of a practical LLM focused session. So all things prompting, we're going to do Q and A around that. But then also we're going to evaluate different, like Black Friday offers with the power of LLMs. And basically I think this is pretty much the most free form session. So, you know, we're gonna, we're gonna maybe talk about the challenge, but like, it's gonna be really like LLM and prompting focused. That's all I'll say. And we're building. We'll be building. We'll be using prompt generators and we'll be building little GPTs, live, troubleshooting it live. And all of it is going to be relating to using LLMs for Black Friday. That's sort of the general topic. Okay. And maybe this one might go super long. Let's see how it goes. But we're going to have a fun time. I have a few specials prepared for that one. Okay. Saturday is going to be pretty clear. We're going to be making predictions for what's coming next for ChatGPT 2025. I have some guests lined up for that. No announcements yet, surprise coming, but basically it's going to be a discussion about what's next for the main product that most of us use day to day. I don't just assume. I know. So that's like the most used tool. And we're going to be discussing what's coming. What's the roadmap? What's the plan? Roadmap, what should you prepare for? What are the rumors? What are the facts? Where are we right now? What's coming? Okay. And how to prepare yourself also. So all of this has this, like, practical undertone. And then last but certainly not least, next Monday we're going to do one stream where we evaluate the results of the challenge that I will issue today. The challenge is how AI changed their life, basically. Share one story from your life. Talk about this in a second here. But that's next Monday. We're going to look at all the results. We're going to have judges evaluating the results. We're going to pick a winner, cash prizes, and that should be a lot of fun. It's basically going to be Kind of a best off. How has AI impacted this YouTube community? You know what, what did it change in your life? What did they change in your everyday Again? Challenge is the first thing we're going to talk here about. So let me have a quick look at chat here. Wow, this is, yeah, very lively. Let's go. Oh my God. I see the guacma doshas gang up in here. Good to have you guys here. I love that. Anybody who's not familiar, there's sort of, sort of a tradition kind of sparked here. Every video that we upload has at this point multiple comments. I believe Toby started this. Right? But basically every, every video has a comment with the word kwakmadosi in it, which is great. Okay, let's go. So let's get, let's start with the, let's start with the practical stuff. Okay, so what is the stream about? I told you about like all the plans that we have for this week, but let's get down to it. We are issuing a public challenge as we did before. We did1 on GPT4 0 use cases and my favorite one was on GPT building. We met so many amazing people and we gathered so many amazing community members from that challenge because really all the professional GPT builders kind of like showed themselves in that challenge and showed off some of their skills. I remember the debugger GPT. I remember some super unique ones. Anyway, that is old news. That happened about six months ago. Long story short, it worked really well. We had I think almost 50 submissions with custom GPTs that people have built with the techniques that I showed today. We're gonna go a bit more meta, we're gonna go a bit more inspirational, we're gonna go a bit more. What's the word? Personal. Okay, it can be personal, but it doesn't have to. Okay, so the deal is the following. We're issuing a brand new public challenge that is going to be hosted in the public area for community. You can create a free account and create a post in there. I'm going to show you that right now. But basically this is the deal. Everything that I say now will also be, is also described in here. But basically, here's the deal. This is the summary of it. One question. How has artificial intelligence made a difference for you, for you personally? Do you use it every day in your workflow to improve your graphic Design productivity by 40%? Fantastic. Please tell us about that. Makes a big difference. It's impactful, that's important. Or are you using it to handle your mental health? Has it Made a difference in the private life of somebody you know. Has there been some advice that came from it? Maybe an idea Brainstorming is one of the biggest use cases. Right. Maybe an idea that you managed to extract from it that changed your life in some way. It doesn't need to be big. Okay, this is my main point here. It doesn't need to be completely life changing. I know we titled it that way, but even if it's a little thing, it just. The important thing is that it made either a lasting change or that it's something you use regular. I would say these are the two things that you can be looking for. How do you format this? Well, there's going to be people, there's going to be team members posting their submissions. I basically challenged the entire AI Advantage team to share how it changed their life. So we're going to have all those stories, but basically it's really simple. You just go in here, you say new post and then you can type something up here. Okay. It doesn't need to be an essay, it doesn't need to be long. It can be a quick share. You have a week. You have one. It's. Yeah, we're gonna close this on Sunday, midnight. So you have basically six days until the end of the week. And on Monday we'll be evaluating the results. Now, why should you do this? We put in a little bit of a price as motivation. Okay. So first price, it's going to be multiple judges. I'm going to be one of them. And the first price who wins the most votes is going to get $1,000 in cash. Just going to whatever, PayPal, Venmo Transfer, bank transfer, whatever you want. But yeah, we're going to have cash prizes. So the first one is going to get 1,000. Second price, $500. Third price, $100. We're going to evaluate this in a stream next Monday. Now, how is it going to be judged? Here's the judging criteria. So make it authentic. Has it made a lasting impact? You know, added value? Big or small? Again, it doesn't need to be big. Right. The small ways matters too. And then also we're going to consider community engagement. So if you just share an amazing story and you don't even, you know, we see that you haven't even interacted with a single other post, that's not going to help. So we kind of want to want you to share your story, but then also kind of have a look at what other people are sharing. Okay, so that's basically it. Everything is Outlined in here. Okay, I could spend another 20 minutes reading through all of this to you, but I would just say this. If you're on this channel, you're a part of a very small group of people. Like legitimately. How many everyday people care about this topic deeply enough that they follow YouTube channels that report on this week by week, that they tune into live streams of people, people just talking about generative AI tools? In practice, it's not many. The answer is not many. Realistically, actually, like, I think almost nobody. You know, like, what is it? I think 26%. Was it 20, 24 or. 26% of US citizens have tried ChatGPT at this point. But that means they opened it once and ran a prompt, right? How many of those people have a pro account? Well, it's about one fourth of that. How many of those people use it on a weekly basis? That's again a fraction. How many of those people actually follow content regularly and try to educate themselves? Well, you're gonna find out that at the end of the day, we're talking a few hundred thousand people worldwide, maybe a few million if you really stretch the definition. But truly, I don't think it's more than 10 million people worldwide who even follow this type of stuff. So among those people, you're among those people, definitely. If you're watching a live stream now, Right on. How AI changed your life, you click this and you're hanging out here with me. First of all, welcome. Good to have you here. Secondly, what an opportunity. These are tools that give you a legitimate leg up or just maybe, maybe they give you an opportunity to flavor or self flavor what you do a little bit differently or self express in a way that others can't. Now that probably made a change at some point and this is the opportunity to share it. So I want to hear from, well, as many of you as possible. But also I'll be sharing my story here. I won't be doing that today. I'll be, I'll be curating it over the rest of the week. I have a rough outline already, but I just want to share a story from my life. I'll just say it's. Yeah, I just say it's a bit personal, a bit mental health related and that ChatGPT is a great coach, I would say. All right, so that's a challenge. Okay, you can check it out now. This is public. You can just create account. Create a post in here. I said that. Yeah, I have my massive stream outline here. You can check it out. Four bullet points There you go. I think we covered the first three. Now all that is left is handling the tier list. Well, we should wrap up this challenge part and then we're gonna. And then we're gonna talk about the tier list and rank some of these and talk about all these tools. But yeah, basically here you can share that. And then, you know, even if you're like, hey, okay, I don't know, I don't want to, like, expose any of my AI use cases or I don't want to share anything personal on the Internet. Fair enough. I get it. I would just encourage you to check out this page. I know many other people will. I know many people from the community and the team will. This will, over the next week, this will turn into a little library of what's possible with AI. And at the very least, if that sparks your interest, then hit the notification bell for next Monday's stream because there we'll be looking at some of the best submissions here. We'll be promoting this also in our email list, etc. And in our community. So I'm looking forward to hearing some interesting stories. Maybe I should share one or two that we received from our community because that's what sparked this. Like, some of the stories we received were just like, mind blowing. Legitimately mind blowing. I mean, I think we'll share them. I know one person in the community shared one anonymously. I think we'll share that next Monday. But the broad strokes of it were Basically he used ChatGPT to get a second opinion on a medical report, and basically the findings within the medical report, they saved his wife's life. It was really touching story. I guess we'll go into a few more details, but again, I just want to make clear, like, it doesn't have to be this big of a story to. To win this challenge or to rank here. But like, we just saw that. We shared that with the entire team and we just, like, had a moment. I was like, wow, some of these tools can have, you know, like, often we talk about the productivity gains, but really, like, on a personal level, some of this stuff is already having an impact. I mean, just look at the usage of character AI. Like, there's something there. People are not using that for the productivity boost. Yeah. So it's interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your stories. And with that being said, let me answer a few questions and move to the next part where we'll be ranking all the various AI tools and talking about what updates happened in November. That should be fun. I'm looking forward to that. Until then. Toyo, asking doesn't cost money to access this platform. No. There's two areas. So this is the public area, Toyo. And in the public area, we publish our rankings. We host public challenges. Every so often we have an ask and answer questions area. All of these spaces here in this public area are free. So we also have free guides and workflows in here and the app rankings that we update once a month. All of this is free. Yeah. So there's two areas to the community, the inside area and then the external area. Yeah. And it's pretty much set up in a way, you know, that if you. If you only have very little time and if you only just want the broad strokes so it's what's happening, then, then this is what you need. The YouTube video plus the newsletter plus these rankings is really all you need. Okay. You don't need to subscribe and become a member. If you only want to spend like 10 minutes a week with this stuff. If you want to build some lasting skills, that's why we built the community. If you want to meet people, if you want to network, if you want to get your questions answered, get some personalized help. That's why the community exists. If you just want the info and just want to stay on top of all of this, hey, we have the rankings with the weekly news. You can use video. We have our free newsletter. Okay. So, yeah, this is. This is free, my friend. Okay. Wow. Man has created 20 free tabletop role playing books ranging from 60 to 190 pages long with AI take it had taken me four years for our first work. Man, that is impressive. Actually, this is like, I don't know, a part of me just spoke up, which was like, huh, I kind of want to play one of those with you. I love, I love tabletop games and role playing games and computers. So, yeah, and there we're already getting these stories and so Renee also sharing. So this is fascinating. I would encourage you, even if it's as short as this comment, share it with the community. You know, like, surely, you know, I think the first prizes will go to people who go a little bit more in depth, but, like, it's just amazing to be able to share this. And yeah, a few more comments here and then we'll get to the next segment. Philip saying, AI didn't change my life, but AI Advantage did. Well, Philip, it's a pleasure to have you on board, man. It's great to have you around. Yeah. Then he's saying, he developed some AI companions for family members with some personal. Personal issues. It runs on ChatGPT and has daily chats with her. Yeah, that the context is lost. That does suck. I mean, I think for a user like you're describing like a family member, turning on memories is a fantastic way to automatically gather the context. Yeah, great stories here already. Honestly, honestly, Even if you. Even if you hear. I'm just sorry. Some of these comments are funny. Gerhardt saying, I'm here for the guac T shirts incoming. There's so many different T shirts we could make. Maybe at some point we'll open a merch store that like sells them at cost and just like funny community stuff. I would like that. By the way, did you see the loop in the intro? So let's move on to the next segment. But like the loop was so cool, right? It included all the community art that has been submitted over the past months. Some of the best community art we've seen in our creative district in a community. Yeah, amazing. If not, you can always. The whole stream is recorded in the beginning. There's two minute part of the loop. Just showing off community art. Hey, Vibe Manage says he makes GPTs that generates custom wedding song lyrics. There you go, man. Enhancing somebody's special days. Okay, okay, Amazing. So let us transition to the next segment here, shall we? Which is going to be the update of the November tool ranking. Now actually, before we do that. Wait, do I have. Yeah, I have everything here before we do that. Okay, we have the questions here. Okay, before we do that, let me just briefly say. Good lord, guys, we hit 300k. Seriously. Have a look. Wow, look at that. 300,000 subscribers. Just honestly, honestly, big fat thank you to everybody. For who, Like I see this as expression of saying, wow, what happens here is helpful, right? At the very least, that's what this means. Who would have thought? I remember when I uploaded the first ChatGPT video. November, November 4th. And I woke up the night afterwards and usually all the videos uploaded on the channel they got about. I think they got about 20 to 40 views in the first 24 hours. This one had a hundred, I think like 90 or 100 views in the first 12 hours. I was like, 90 views. People really care about this ChatGPT stuff. Wow. Let me create another one. And then I created the two minute video showing how to use ChatGPT. That thing got like 200 views overnight. I was like 200 views, man. Let me create another one and another one and another one. And one month later I had like a Library of, I don't know, 10, 15 videos. And then all of a sudden the world caught on. I was like, oh chatgpt, you gotta use it. What a game changer. And at that point I had a library and YouTube started distributing it. So it's very early and a lot of you people were very early here. I know a lot of people here in the chat and a lot of people on the team were some of the earliest people on the channel. And now it's 300,000 people. Man. How do you even visualize that? That's crazy. Genuine. Thank you. I hope that this week's content is going to be helpful. I think it's going to be helpful. We listen to what you guys requested by emails, comments and everything. It's, it's sort of all around that I think every single one of these streams is going to have a value component, a real value component and an entertainment and human component. And I hope, I hope that's going to make your life just a little better because 300,000 people on one channel, it allowed us, it allowed me to do what I do now and it allowed me to build a team of at this point with, with all the people that work in a freelance capacity. We were 13 people, five full time and another eight that have weekly recurring tasks in the AI advantage. Happy to, happy to talk about all that but like, it's just amazing. And yeah, thanks for enjoying the videos and for being here. With that being said, let's talk tools because I know there's gonna be a lot of people. I know it's so funny because it's so split on YouTube, you know, a certain part of the audience is like, let's hang out, you know, guacmadoshas and like just having a good time and everything. And then there's a certain component which is like, cut to the chase man, like show me the tools, show me the techniques, you know, so we always gotta balance it. I hope, I hope we're doing a good job here. That's all I can do. So let's talk about LLM rankings. Quick summary. For anybody who doesn't know, we publish this on a monthly basis. This is in the free area of our community. There's explanation for each one of those rankings. And we public, we update this every month. We have one for LLMs, one for video tools, one for image tools. Today we're talking LLMs. What happens in the community is basically once a month we hold. Well every two weeks I hold, currently I hold office hours session. Right now I'M holding this stream instead. But usually if you look back, look, there's office hours here and then there's office hours here and usually on this last office hour session of the month, we do exactly what we're about to do. We look at the LLM tier list ranking and then we go through in a room with usually around 15 people. Usually it's everybody has their, you know, cameras and mic on and we kind of have an open discussion not possible today with a larger audience size of over 100 people here. But basically we go through this and we discuss like what's new for the tools and which tool might have surfaced that is missing here and is the ranking still up to date and should we change something? And once we come up with those conclusions, we publish the results here in the app rankings. Again, this is in the free area of the community. You can just access this. So yeah, here we go. This is the ranking. This is all the explanations. They will be updated on November 1st in writing. But let's have a first discussion of it here live in the stream together. I would encourage chat participation. We're going to, I'm going to be, I am already looking at chat and I'm going to be considering heavy heavily here and some wonderful people here. Just saying this is just the beginning. 300k is a good start. Rank games. Yeah, let's see. I remember when we, when we hit like a 10k, it was surreal. It was like, wait, can this keep going? Is this real? I'm like, yeah, it is. Okay, so let's talk about, let's talk about this. Yeah, where could a beginner start? Yeah, perfect. Some. Some moderators here. Raluka already answering. Yeah, I think the best place to start is just a free content man. This channel streams weekly news you can use. You can subscribe to the newsletter for free. You'll get one update a week. There's a bit of an interest sequence with I think four or five emails and yeah, that's the. And then check these rankings out. And then if you want more, if you really want to build these skills, if you want to learn how to build chatbots and automations and prompt engineering and the creative aspects of it, we have different courses slash learning paths in the community for that. It's all about teaching skills and meeting people, getting personalized assistance, whereas this is more about staying up to date. So that's what I would say. So let's talk about these. And let me address the first point of criticism that I think has been given and received. This is not really LLM tier list, it's more of a LLM platform tier list. I titled it LLM tier list. But really these are all like platforms, right? Because NotebookLM, it's not a LLM of its own. Just like, I don't know, Venice AI is just a website that uses uncensored version of Llama in the background. Copilot runs on GPT4O as pointed out here in chat. So these are LLM platforms. But the idea behind this really is this is something that you should be able to look at once a month and then like under 20 seconds get an idea for what changed or what's relevant and making sure you get like 80% of the info in no time. Right. And my bad, I think this has shifted chatgpts first, right? So all of a sudden if you see like XAI show up here, then something happened, right? There's something you should look into and you can check out the article and see the description of the reasoning why this is here. We'll rank GROK here in a second. But this is, you know, this is that 8020 principle, Pareto principle. Basically, in the shortest amount of time, get the most amount of info that you need. And then if you want to go deeper, you can always do that. So yeah, perplexity is neither. Exactly, exactly. So these are LLM platforms. So let's go through this and let's first talk about the changes and then let's re rank things and talk about grok, shall we? And I would love your participation on this. If you have some opinions, this is the moment to share them. Let's make this a dialogue. All community members can share things in LLM chat. I know Matthias is pulling them up and sending them to Slack on me here on my secondary screen. We will prioritize community member comments, but I think we're a nice round number here that we can kind of just go into these things and everybody else you can share in the YouTube chat. I'm reading, when I'm looking over like this, I'm looking at YouTube chat. Okay, so let's talk about this. What changed with some of these tools over the last month? Actually this has been a month of shipping and updates, I gotta say, especially among the top tools here. Actually less so in the bottom half here. But let's talk about these. Okay, so first things first. ChatGPT. Okay, let's just begin with ChatGPT. Let me take a sip and let's talk about this. So they shipped a bunch of things, I think most significantly advanced Voice is now available in the desktop app and on the, on the web. Everybody has it now. From what I've seen on the latest video, I kind of asked like, hey, leave a comment if you have it yet. And we got some, we got messages from some, really, some countries that roll out last that they have it already. Also I here in Portugal just got it over the weekend. So everybody has Advanced Voice on desktop and on the web app now and they ship this new model right now. Let's talk about the new model. The new model. It sounds so different. It sounds, excuse me, it sounds very different. It doesn't sound like chatgpt, I would say at this point I kind of, me and many of you, I'm sure also developed sort of a Spidey sense for when something is chatgpt written, right? Kind of look at the text and you're like, ah, okay. You know, like, I hope this email finds it. Well, let me delve into this topic. Like all of that stuff, those are the stereotypes, but there's many more and a lot of people just developed an intuition for what is chatgpt written now they shook this up. They shipped a brand new model. It's also available through the API. It does not. So I wouldn't say it's like a complete 180, but it's enough of a change for me to say that my Spidey sense doesn't work anymore. And it's enough of a change for me to say that I have been reconsidering my use of Claude for creative writing ever since they shipped this. It's just, it's just good. I don't know. I personally am a fan. They lost a lot of the words that you needed to prompt for not to be included. That's one. Some of the writing structure is it's less predictable. It feels like it's less formulaic. Whereas before, like, if you had to do copy, it was just atrocious. Whereas now it's like, that's not bad now maybe they just switched up the formulas and I haven't been able to identify the patterns in the new update, you know, whereas in the last one it was kind of pretty static. But my verdict is like, for creative writing, which was one of the two things I used Claude for, I think I default to chatgpt now. But if I really care about the outputs, I'll also go to Claude and have it generated too and then compare. What do you guys think though? What do you make of the new GPT version? Like, I think this is the. That's, that's sort of the most significant update here over the last month. Would love to hear that. So, so that's chatgpt. So I think they were rank one. They updated the number one thing that people were complaining about, which is the fact that its tone sounds like a robot. They added Advanced Voice everywhere. They gave it the. They gave Advanced Voice the ability to see inside of coding apps so you can link it to your terminal Vs Code code xcode. And it keeps all of the code bases, the entire code base in its context window and you can ask about it. So it's sort of a, it's a baby step towards doing something like Cursor does. Right. But it's a great update because what, what was promised with the Advanced Voice was really that it's going to see your screen, it's going to use your camera on your phone and you're going to be using the advanced voice. As ChatGPT is aware of your surrounding or the context that you're dealing with, they have not shipped that yet. Right. So these are kind of like steps towards it. Fair enough. I think they're working. I think they extended their lead at this point, but. So they stay in the first spot of the S class. But CLAUDE is not asleep at the wheel. CLAUDE actually shipped one of my favorite recent features in the AI space, which is the ability to read PDFs, read visuals in PDFs. Because a lot of PDFs are just scanning. Scanned. Right. They're not like actual. They don't include computer written text, they're just scanned JPEGs inside of a PDF format. Now you can upload those to Claude and it still gets everything, including the images, including the graphs. Amazing. I have been using this regularly. You just have to enable this in the CLAUDE interface. But basically I showed this in the news you can use. It's really simple. You just. Right here there's a feature preview thing. Hold up. They removed it. Maybe they removed it. Look at that. It's not here. It was a third thing like a visual PDF. Okay, so that's interesting. See, this is the type of thing that I'll note and then I'll throw it to the team and I'll see. We'll look at how various locations. If this was just removed from me, but anybody else got a clock? Can you guys check if this is if it's also gone for you? Because that was the thing I was using regularly. It's gone. PDF feature gone. Okay, so you know, if it's gone, that's not good. But it will include that update in the. Yeah. In the text here on Claude. So yeah, that's that they also added. They also added Haiku. Now you have. Yeah, but that's really only relevant for the API. And. Yeah, there you go. But that's a bit shocking. LH Chevalier. There's a link in the description. I'll also check it. I'll also share it here for you. This is the link. You can check the instructions and share it there. Thank you, Matthias, for sharing. Perfect. But yeah, that's weird, isn't it? So they removed the feature. Okay, fair enough. That was one I really liked. Perplexity added Perplexity Shopping. And let me speed up a little bit, otherwise we're going to spend 20 minutes just like talking about what's new and that's what news you can use is here for not. Not the stream. Right. Perplexity added Perplexity Shopping. Basically, kind of before Black Friday, giving you quicker checkouts in many stores. Hey, Flourishing Recovery. Welcome. Welcome to the channel. Welcome as a member. Good to have you here, man. And yeah, basically that's Perplexity. Yeah. Man or woman, we don't know. Flourishing Recovery. But anyway, good to have you here. So Perplexity added the shopping feature. They got serious competition with ChatGPT Search. That was last month, but a lot of people still use it. Especially I know Gerhard here pointed out that he loves using it with Opus. But then Gerhard, how is your Perplexity plus Opus search going now? Because I know in the last office hours he reported that it's not as reliable as you would like it to be. Yeah. And also it's being pointed out that Claude is way too pg, that it gets really annoying. Yeah, Claude is super restrictive, so that's. Yeah, ChatGPT is actually less restrictive as Cloud than Claude. Okay. NoteBookLM added a feature for custom prompts so you can give it specific tones. You can make any alterations. Now, I think the default settings of it were really good. It's nice that you can now kind of like bake that in. So if you're using it for educational purposes and you want a specific point of view, that's a really good way to use it. But basically this has been the go to tool for me and many others when it comes to knowledge retention. I think this is one of the biggest use cases of NotebookLM. So it's like you use ChatGPT to dig up the knowledge or to process the knowledge, and then you use NotebookLM to kind of store it. And with the podcast you can create a summary that you can then listen to on your way home, on your way to work. You can create meeting summaries. We did a thing internally. I think we're Gonna make a YouTube tutorial on this, but it's basically a workflow that takes a meeting summary, processes it, summarizes it, and then uses 11 Labs voice model with my voice to create a custom voice summary in two minutes of the entire meeting. So I don't know. It's sort of a custom version of NotebookLM, but only with one voice. Yeah, they added the custom prompt thing. I don't think it's the biggest deal in the world, but it's such a powerful tool that we just had to put it in S tier as we've seen usage of this across the board. Like, everybody and their grandma seems to be using a notebook these days. At least in like these AI circles, it's still free to use. And what else? There's one piece of info that I. I'm gonna actually hold a lecture on NotebookLM next Tuesday. We're gonna spend one hour. That's gonna be a community thing, but we're gonna spend one hour hyper focusing on NotebookLM. All the opportunities, all the different use cases and what we are doing with it and what you can do with it. Basically, the custom prompting didn't make the biggest difference. So I would, I don't know, keep it in the spot. It's still super popular. Okay. So I wanted to spend a bit more time on the S tier one once. Okay, let's go for the other ones quite quickly. Gemini Studio has seen massive upgrades. They launched two new models, right. One of them topped the leaderboards. Then ChatGPT topped the leaderboards with the new model. Then they released a new model that again topped the leaderboards on LMSwise Arena. Whatever. Is it still. Is it. Is it something that I use? No. Is it something that anybody. Is there anybody here that uses Gemini over Claude and ChatGPT? And if so, why? Please leave a comment. I would love to. I would love to hear from you because just from empirical evidence, what I see every day. Yeah, that's very rare, let's put it that way. And then we get. We're getting some opportunity or some opinions here in the chat. I get annoyed by PG too. I make true crime content and so confining, man. There's no way you can do true crime content in Claude. Way too restrictive. Yeah. In a year. Oh, no. Godspeed. With 4, 000 bookmarks on AI tools, that's why we, that's, that's why we do this ranking, because it's like, this is like what we find most people. Most people. If you use these, you'll be fine. Okay, sure. There's like Toyo bringing up Deep Seq. So this is, it's a Chinese version of O1 preview reasoning model that's open source. You can freely use it. As of now, I'm not sure what the usage limit it is, but they basically like open sourced, slightly better version of O1 preview. So you can use that for free. Sure. I think that would be one actually worth considering here. I mean we have definitions on these by the way and I think Deep SEQ would fall under B. Right? Can be useful in specific situations. Yeah, good point, man. Thank you Toyo for noting that I pointed out in last week's news you can use. But basically it's just a simple chat interface. You can use the model in there and it's a free version of a one preview that is behind a paid wall with ChatGPT. Yes. There you go, Sloydman. Welcome to the YouTube membership. Okay, so one quick note. How do I join the community to be a part of the event next week? It's very simple. We actually have a. Oh, this I should have also pointed out we have a big Black Friday offer. We have 40% of the yearly membership, so you can either join for a month at the usual price and we have 40% off the yearly plan. You can check it out under my AI advantage.com community. It's also linked in the description of the stream. But yeah, basically that's our membership. But yeah, thank you so much Toyo for pointing that out. I think deepseek would probably fall in the B category. If you're looking for a free version of OM Preview. Again we covered that before. Still the best use case of that is for me rewriting and for code generation I still default to Claude 3.5 sonnet. I still think it's best. I think there's situations where you could argue that the longer output of O Preview helps you a bit more. But like if you just use Cloud 3.5 Sonnet for code, you'll be fine. Yeah, All right, so yeah, that's a good point. So Deep Seek, I think we should add that and I think it would belong in B category. We're also going to discuss, let's discuss, you know, Grok here in a second, but just to go through these. So Gemini Studio added the new models. They are better. They sound a little different. I'm not sure if it's better or worse. I asked Chat that anybody. Is anybody active Gemini user here, Rank game saying he's using the API with the Windsurf code editor. Okay, interesting. Any reason you're using the. Oh, using the free Gemini API. Okay, that's why. That's why. Any reason you would use that over 3.5 sonnet? I was gonna ask. Okay. Any opinions on which platform is best for AI policy research? Yeah, I think none of these. I think what you would do is you would open up a Notebook LM and you would bring in your own sources. I wouldn't rely on one of the pre existing because it's such a new area. Right. You're not gonna get the. The most up to date info in there. So just use NotebookLM. Bring in all your own sources, all your own PDFs, articles. Just fill the sources with quality stuff and then use that. Yeah, that's what I would say. Okay. Okay. Hans saying he used Claude to. To read a PDF file. Okay, so it works with PDFs. Yeah, but the question is like, does it still work with. Does it still work with the visuals in the PDFs? Because it's. It's gone from these experimental features. There used to be a third tab here a few days ago. Yeah. Kosti confirming Cloud 3.5 Sonnet is best for coding related tasks. Yeah, I think it's just that sort of. That's just consensus right now. Okay, so we have the main ones. Okay. So thank you for the Deep SEQ suggestion. I think we're going to add that to the beat here. I think it belongs. I mean, I probably would put it, I would put it behind pole, probably because pole gives you so much variability. Like if you're. The thing is, I don't return to it. I don't use it regularly. So the B tier, the definitions is that it's useful in specific situations. I think for deep seek, the specific situation is if you want best in class rewriting or code generation at a free price point, then you probably go to Deep seq. Although I haven't tested it in depth enough to make that statement confidently. I'll have to. I'll have to spend an hour or two with it before I dare to put it even on here. But 01 preview is just. The rewriting of it is just. It's not even close. It's so good. I use it all the time. I use it all the time. So that's that second category we talked about, Gemini Studio. They also added a bunch of features. Right? They have some new features in there but like as I said, like nobody really. A lot of people, some people use the models, but nobody really uses Gemini Advanced. Right? Like am I. Please disprove me. Leave a comment if it's different, but I don't know. That's just what I've seen. Gigabrain still great for product reviews, I think actually for Black Friday. Here's a hot tip. Gigabrain is a free search engine. It's like Perplexity, but it's free and it only looks at Reddit comments. So if you look at something like what is the best podcasting mic for a beginner for anything product review related, searching Reddit threads is one of the best techniques. Like looking at YouTube reviews and Reddit opinions is a fantastic way. And then you can use this for free. And there you go. MV7 I would completely agree. For $300 you get a high end USB mic with XLR capabilities. Yeah, this is what I would recommend and there's some great options and you get all the references and follow up questions and the threads that you can go into if you're looking for new products. Gigabrain is just such a time saver. So this is a good one. So that's why it's an A tier. I think it's best for product reviews. Like Perplexity is good, but I really like just looking at Reddit opinions when it comes to this stuff. It's a, it's a LLM Reddit search engine. It includes all the comments, not just the threads. So you could do a version of this for Perplexity, but this works better. I like this a lot. So that's that character AI, obviously the world's most popular platform for when it comes to AI companions. And then down here, yeah, PO is just really good with all the different. Like I'm okay, I'm not going to talk for every single thing. Let's talk for the big changes. But like if you want all the different LLMs and if you want some unique features like file upload for 01 preview, then PO has these things. That's the only platform I know of that has a reasoning model plus file uploads just really cool. And for $20 you get just all the different models you get to use Gemini, Claude, the US ChatGPT, all that. Okay, let's skip over some of these because there were no real changes here. I think this one is static copilot and 365. I would actually D rank man. Like I've had such high hopes for copilot in 365. But let me tell you, for example, for PowerPoint, it just never works as I want it to. Like, I. I don't know, maybe it's me, maybe it's a me problem. Maybe I don't know how to use it properly. Maybe I don't know how to prompt it properly. Maybe it just works differently. But like everything I'll just also like all of this is just genuine opinion, right? Like not sponsored or anything like that. I would always highlight that. But man, Gamma is so good for presentations. Seriously, if you're doing presentations, just use this. And it costs half, one third of the price of copilot in 365. So I would maybe go ahead and this month I would derank this because I see less and less people use this. Even the data analysis in excel. Hey guys, 130 people here. Anybody here got something positive to say about COVID pilot in 365? I think the idea is really amazing, right? Like, hey, in word, Excel and PowerPoint, you just get AI assistance. Great, I want that. But then in practice it's just. It's just not that good. A few opinions coming here on. On Deep Seek also flourishing recovery tried Google's Learn about was not impressed. Okay, that's interesting. I think Learn About. I think Learn about. It's not a thing I return to regularly. I gotta say, Notebook LMS a thing I return all the. All of these I return to regularly. You know, Copilot 365 is really poor. Reading comments from chat here. Yeah, that's just what I found. I canceled the sub. I was like, not great for all the word processing stuff and data analysis. You just use ChatGPT with code interpreter or normal ChatGPT for the presentations you just use Gamma AI. Why do you need to pay $30 a month for copilot and 365? I think we might actually have to derank this this month. Less and less people use it. Like, I don't know. I know a lot of corporate licenses have it included, but Gamma is even better than most of the people. Not sure what that means, but I sort of agree. It's really good. Yeah, a lot of companies work with Copilot. Yeah. So then there's Copilot app, right? And this is actually, I've been hearing more and more good stuff about this now. So this is basically what corporations use if they can't use ChatGPT internally. So I don't know. I think we should Switch our. We should, we should discuss. To round this out, we should talk about lechat and we should talk about Grok. Okay, so first fix. First lechat, quite simple. They added a ton. You can PDF upload now. You can do image generation now you can. I don't know all of it by heart, but I, but I have it over here. They basically changed LeChat to be closer to ChatGPT, but not quite. The model is very capable. It has a bit of a unique flavor. I don't know, I just briefly covered this. I didn't really return much to it, but community members have reported that basically this is a great free alternative and it also includes a GPT like feature. So you can set up these agents in the background that basically only hold instructions. No actions, no knowledge base, but you can then talk directly to the agent and you can create specialized versions. So it has a GPT like feature, which Claude sort of has with projects, but not really. And then perplexity, obviously no. Gemini Studio has gems, but they're also kind of meh. Also the Google integrations, they don't work as well as you would want them to with YouTube and Gmail and stuff stuff. They're good ideas, but the implementation is just not there yet. So let's add a real option here. And this thing is free, right? You can do web search, image generation. It even has a canvas like feature, let's say about YouTube channels, the gaming niche. And then it has this canvas like feature that you can use as a word editor in here also. Just first. Yeah, they're just copying some ChatGPT features here. But this thing is free, right? And the model is as capable, I would say, as. As what the competition uses. But this is free. So if you're looking for a free ChatGPT alternative, I think this is, this has gotta, this has gotta go into B tier this month. Right. Which is. Can be useful in specific situations. I think the specific situation would be, hey, if you don't have a ChatGPT sub and you want an alternative, I think le Chat here ahead of Gemini Advanced. Maybe still not a single Gemini comment here in chat. I don't know. Okay, so that's something. And now, now the final one. Yeah, people liking the chat. I see positive feedback on the chat. That's great. Now the final one. Okay, we have a few. Okay, we have a few. We have a few comments here from the community. One from Legacy incoming saying, I love NotebookLM, but in my opinion it's too one dimensional for S tier. I Use it a lot though. So that's the thing, it is one dimensional. I agree. And some of these are multi dimensional. But really, like even you say you use it a lot, you know, it's just very sticky. It's just very sticky. Also, Mike Rashid asking, is there a way to change images on Gamma? Yeah, man, super simple. You just click the images and you can upload your own or regenerate. With AI, it's really, I don't know, it's really everything that AI PowerPoint should have been. It's built from the ground up for AI, so I don't know, it just works great. Copilot might be one of the first platforms to have infinite memory. Maybe. So guys and girls, what do you think of GROK there? They doubled, they doubled their front end team last week from one to two people. It can do this. And we're going to end in about five minutes here. Okay. Because we have an event in a community talking to the founder of Pythagora, which is AI agentic coding framework. And I gotta run the interview there, so I gotta head on over to there. But basically GROK doesn't just like. It used to always be good at image generation, but now they included this extra feature where you can kind of just. It gives you prompt suggestions and it's. And you can just keep going. And this is sort of a really fun interface thing that I haven't seen anywhere else. Look at that in a garden and you can just keep going. So this is one thing they added, okay, the Twitter data integration. Like, it just doesn't work how you would want it. Like, right, it has, it's plugged into the fire, the Twitter firehose. So that's a huge promise, but it just doesn't. With fairies, it just doesn't work as you want. The developer platform is clutch. It's amazing they made it so simple to use. You literally just. I think you just change out one line of code, I think, and it just works in any app that you might be using ChatGPT in already. I think that implementation was so good that Gemini actually turned around and did the same thing a week later. I don't know if you noticed that, but Gemini kind of published an update where you can do the same thing. You just change one line of code and Gemini works all of a sudden in your code. So GROK did really well on that. The base model is okay, you know, if we were just to rate the LLM, it's maybe a bit worse than Mistrals large. So it would land somewhere around here. I guess they have this image generation feature. But I don't know how to score this image generation feature because this is not an LLM platform thing. Right. This would be under image Generators. You know, like, I'm not judging ChatGpt worse because Dall E is not great. Right? So that doesn't really count. What do you guys think? Where does. Where does X belong? I mean, it is the best. It is the best image generation of all of these, right? With Flux. So that's got to be worth something. I'll give that some weight. What do you guys think? Any opinions here? Is it still using standard Flux one? Toyo, Good question. I don't think. I haven't seen any. So that's what they used in the beginning. And I think the other ones are just way too expensive. So my guess would be yes, as I haven't seen any information that would suggest otherwise. Hookmag asking between Po and Lachette or saying. So you would put it right here. Is it better than Lechetto? Because I mean you get file uploads, okay. You don't get the Canvas feature, which is not a game changer. The image generation here is not great. You don't have web search, but you have Twitter search, which kind of is the same. You don't get like the agents or like the GPTs in the background. But that feature is not really powerful. I think you might be right. I think you might be onto something. But the image generation is best in class, right? Like if you want Images, then like Grok2 is the easiest one out of all of these to use and to get like the best results. Okay. I think this is a good spot to leave it. Full context of Twitter. That is pretty cool. It's just it doesn't retrieve as that retrieve it as reliably as you would want it to. And it is fun mode, I guess that's something. That's got to be worth something to me. That's definitely worth something. Fun mode. Putting it here. So I think it belongs here or here. Is it better than the chat? What do you guys think? It's better or worse? Yeah. Mike Bram asking, is there a code for the 40% off? No, we just kind of hard coded it. So if you get the yearly membership, you get 40% off for this week until Friday and then anybody who is already a member can upgrade to that. You can go to profile and billing and you can just upgrade to the yearly membership at the fixed price. There's no code. Yeah. So as we wrap this, wrap this up in the last minute. So we concluded that there's some good, you know, updates up here, but the ranking doesn't really change. There was nothing game changing. Gemini is really trying. I think out of everybody they shipped the most things but like, nobody, none of it seems to be really sticky. I would say Lichat major upgrades to their platform. I like the simplicity and the quality of the large language model underneath is really good. That's why I would say it's a great free alternative to ChatGPT X. Got some promise, man. I also like this, I gotta say, I really like this. The philosophy behind it, sort of like it's the most uncensored out of all of these. Right. Except maybe like Venice or like the dolphin models. Right. That's what it runs on. All right, so I haven't read the chat, so I'm not sure. Yeah, speed is insane too. It's true. It is very fast. You know what my intuition tells me out here because like it has, it is more uncensored than the others. So I'm going to place it right here. But like, what we'll have to do now, what we'll have to do is we'll have to do deep SEQ testing and we'll have to do the chat testing and some comparisons before we publish this ranking. But yeah, thanks for joining me in discussing this. Yeah, yeah, Grok is more willing to talk about edge issues in the real world. That's a great point. Yeah, yeah. Basically anything that happens on Twitter and like everything happens on Twitter, all topics are discussed, right? Nothing is off, nothing is. No topic is avoided. Yeah, yeah. Thanks Gino. Good to have you here. Well, guys, I would love to hang out more, truly, but I'm already late. I gotta go. I gotta go talk to talk to Zvanimir from Pythagora in the community. We have a little chat set up for today. We do one to two guests a month and but no worries, on Wednesday I'm gonna be back with custom AI automation workflow that we'll be workshopping together. And as you have suggestions, we can implement some of them or we can have a look at it. I'll show you step by step how it's done. How do you take the automation that I showed you and how do we turn it into something custom? That's what we're going to be doing on Wednesday. As you can see here. Where is this? Over here. How do I medically research anyone? We're going to be customizing the automation on the live stream. We're going to be working with it but right now I gotta, I gotta run to this thing. Let me show you. I think yeah, the event has already started in the community but we're doing. Yeah, we have a guest, Pythagora. We also did a video of him and basically live room is already up. So I gotta join there. Gotta talk all about AI agentic software development and where it's heading. But yeah, this was a nice little warm up for the week everybody. It's so lovely to hang out. Like I'm serious. It's so cool to have the chat here to hang out with all of you to discuss this stuff. I know we speed ran for a few things. We didn't really go in depth on anything. That's what Wednesday is going to be there for. Okay. We're going to do prompting for the automation but we're also going to customize it. I'm going to show you how to customize it with custom data, how to change the input from notion to something like Google Sheets. And we're gonna have a guest appearance and then yeah, check out all the other weekly streams. I think Friday is going to be the most fun one. We're gonna be building assistants. We're gonna be different tools and prompt engineering techniques to enhance your Black Friday experience. Gonna have a few specials there. Saturday we're gonna be discussing the future of ChatGPT in 2024 and then next Monday we'll be looking at the challenge of the result we issued this week. So that is everything. Again, check out the challenge. Make sure to submit how it influenced your life for the better AI that is. Yeah, we have, we have the first submission there already. Little guac, my man. Love it. Little guac sharing how AI changed his life. You can check this out already. This is freely available. You can just create an account for free. Share it here. Other than that, if you want to join the community, it's never going to be a better alternative financially. The now we have 40% of the yearly plan. Yeah, we also have monthly plans but 40% of the yearly plan just this week and yeah, I believe that is it. I gotta run you guys. All right, thank you so much. I hope you had some fun. We re ranked some tools. I showed you the challenges, I showed you the schedule. I only had one hour here but on Wednesday we're gonna have more. On Friday we're gonna keep it open and the however long we want to. I remember one of those streams went like almost three hours. So let's do that. And if you have some of your own questions, feel free to prepare and bring them to the next streams. We can handle them. We'll also take more time to answer some of these questions and we can use the community hive mind to answer some of your stuff. It's always fun. This is a lot of fun. Thank you so much for joining me and I will see you on Wednesday in the next one where we will be building automations and workshopping automations live. All right, that's all I got today. Bye Bye.
