Short tutorial-style video explaining the new ChatGPT image generator update: multi-image generation (up to 10 images per prompt) is now faster and available via the OpenAI API and the Platform playground. The creator demonstrates generating many images in seconds and shows how non-developers can access the feature through platform.openai.com/playground/images.

700 million images. That's how many pictures people created with the new ChatGPT image generator on launch. But it was super slow. But with an update this week, you can generate 10 images at a time, just like that. I mean, look at this clip right here. I just generated 20 images in what, like three seconds. Here's how you can access it and what to watch out for. So this is what I'm talking about. The image generation that you know and probably love from ChatGPT is now available for the API, which means you can call it programmatically, and there's actually a fantastic way to use this, even if you're a non dev. Okay, so what you want to do is you want to head on over to platform.OpenAI.com playground images, and if you go to that link, you're going to be faced with this brand new interface and it allows you to do things like generate 10 images in just one prompt. Okay, so here's a simple but very powerful prompt that you could use in here where it would make a lot of sense. And then what I'm going to do is give it multiple images of myself, but these three should do it for me. And then I'll just hit generate and it will start generating 10 images at once instead of doing them one by one. And I can already move on to the next prompt and do a lot of things in parallel here.
