Boston Dynamics retired their hydraulic Atlas robot and unveiled a new electric humanoid that moves in ways humans cannot. The speaker finds it mind-blowing and borderline creepy, questioning whether you'd want one helping with chores at home.
This has to be one of the craziest things I've seen in a long time. Most people have seen this Boston Dynamics robot called Atlas. Well, they just retired this robot and replaced it with this robot right here. And one of the things that's crazy about this robot is that, yes, it's got the humanoid form factor, but it can move in ways that humans definitely can not. And this is just mind blowing, borderline creepy. One of the biggest differences is that the old one was using hydraulics, this one is electric, and they can do so much more with it. What do you think? Would you want one of these around your house helping you with day to day chores? Because quite honestly.
