So OpenAI have recently announced some changes. This is breaking news. And they just said that we have unanimously concluded that Sam and Greg are the right leaders for OpenAI. Brett Taylor, the chair of the OpenAI board. So OpenAI has come to a decision that is going to change the OpenAI board. Once again, this is breaking news. As you can see right here, it says the special committee of the OpenAI board has announced that the completion of the independent review is into November's events. If you remember November, when Sam Altman was fired, there was quite a decent amount of information that was going on and there was a lot of speculation. But it seems that the investigation has wrapped up and now the board has changed once again and it seems that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman are going to be back for the board in OpenAI. So let's take a look at what changes were made, what the investigation undercovered and everything that is there. So it says here, review completed, Altman, Brockman continue to lead OpenAI and new board members named and enhancements to the governance structure is introduced. Introduced it states that the special committee of the OpenAI board today announced the completion of the review by Wilmer Hill. The firm conducted dozens of interviews with members of OpenAI's prior board, OpenAI executives, advisors to the prior board and other pertinent witnesses. And they reviewed more than 30,000 documents and evaluated various corporate actions based on the record developed by wilmihale. And following the recommendation of the special committee, the board expressed his full confidence in Mr. Altman and Mr. Greg Brockman's ongoing leadership of OpenAI. So that shows us that whatever investigation was done here, they've decided that whatever happened, it seems that based on the record that they've developed and based on the recommendation by the special committee, they've basically given Sam Altman and Greg Brockman the all lead to be on the board and continue to lead OpenAI. Now essentially there is a new board. So they said we've unanimously concluded that Sam and Greg are the right leaders for OpenAI. That's what Brett Taylor said. He was chair of the board, which essentially the lead. And then Sam Altman will, the CEO will actually rejoin the OpenAI board of directors, which is actually quite interesting. I mean previously the CEO wasn't on the board. So I mean, I guess this is going to be kind of fascinating to see how this develops. And then it also does say that the OpenAI board also announced today that the election of three new board members as one part of its commitment to the expansion including take a Look at the new board members. So it says here, and there's a lot of drama in this video because you know, the story is far from over. And it says here, the OpenAI board also announced today the election of three board members as one of its inspection, including Dr. Sue Desmond Hellman, which is the former CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gate Gates foundation. And on the Board of Directors at Pfizer and on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, Nicole Seligman, the former EVP and Global General Counsel of Sony and President of Sony Entertainment, and on the Board of Directors at Paramount Global and some other top companies. And of course, and of course Fiji Simo, CEO and Chair of Instacart and the Board of Directors at Shopify. So these are some really, really high level board members that have been around for quite some time. And you can see that these are people with a vast experience in number of different fields, which makes them perfect for this new board. Now in addition, there's actually the existing board which has actually changed a little bit. And you can see right here, the new members have experience in leading global organizations and navigating regulatory environments, including backgrounds in technology, non profit and board governance. They will work closely with current board members Adam d', Angelo, Larry Summers and Brett Taylor, as well as greg, Sam and OpenAI senior management. Taylor further stated that as chair of the board, I'm excited to welcome Su, Nicole and Fiji to the OpenAI board of directors. And their experience and leadership will enable the board to oversee OpenAI's growth and to ensure that we pursue OpenAI's mission of ensuring artificial general intelligence that benefits all of humanity. I think the board is going to be interesting now because the board also does have Adam d', Angelo, Larry Summers and Brett Taylor as well as Greg and Sam. So things are getting back to normal. And it does say and OpenAI senior management. And I was actually wondering if they were going to mention Ilya Sutskovak because he was actually one of the of the board previously. So I'm guessing him not coming back. Maybe there's something there. Of course I don't want to, you know, spread speculation about that. You know, Ilya Sutskova has been, you know, they pretty much had no comment to say even when asked in about Elias. So I'm guessing whatever is going on with Ilya Satskova, they just really don't want the public to know. So any speculation is just speculation. Like we literally have no idea and literally I can't really say anything about that. I can't say he that means he's in. I can't say that means he's out because there literally no information I'm on the Internet. But at the end of the day we will have to see now, the new board also announced the adoption of important improvements to OpenAI's governance structure. And it says key enhancements include adopting a new set of corporate governance guidelines which include strengthening OpenAI's conflict of interest policy and creating a whistleblower hotline to serve as an anonymous reporting resource for all OpenAI employees and contractors. And creating additional board committees including a mission and strategy committee focused on and advancement of the core mission of. So essentially they've got a new governance structure which will be interesting because I'm not sure show us that. But it would be interesting to see how that actually does work in terms of how these decisions are made. And one of the things that they also did talk about, which I found was really interesting, was that they said creating a whistleblower hotline to serve as an anonymous reporting resource for all OpenAI employees and contractors. So I'm thinking how is that going to work? Because if they have a whistleblower hotline to serve as an anonymous reporting resource servers for all, how does that work? So I'm guessing if something happens at OpenAI, do the OpenAI employees report it to the board anonymously? So that way people know. I mean it's really going to be fascinating and I would like some knowledge on that. In addition, they state that the expanded board will prioritize its crucial work to enhance the governance procedures to best achieve OpenAI's mission, recognize the magnitude of our role in stewarding transformative technologies for the global good. Added Taylor and the special committee acknowledged the important work done by Wilmahill conducting the cstensive review and thanked OpenAI current and former board members, advisors and employees for their corporation. Special committee of OpenAI boards directors released a summary of their findings and we're going to get into that in a moment because there's actually still a lot more to discuss. But they say that, you know, the part that I highlighted there was that we recognize the magnitude of our role in steward transformative technologies for the global good. So they really understand that like look, this is a really, really big deal and they are not dealing with something small. This is really. So I'm guessing that one of the things that they're going to make sure does happen with the board now is that Asia actually does benefit humanity because I'm guessing whatever was going on before they probably thought it wasn't going to. So another thing as well was that it says, you know, and this is essentially the summary of the entire investigation. And they said that Wilmahill found that the prior board believed at the time that its actions would mitigate internal management challenges and did not anticipate that its actions would destabilize the company. So I'm guessing that the board previously didn't believe that, you know, what they were doing actually put the company in the gutter and in the bin. But I do remember that some board members were actually stating that if OpenAI did cease exist, that that would have been better for humanity. So I mean, I'm not sure how, you know, true that statement is, but then again there were a lot of different board members going out and it was really a time to be able to be even keeping up to date with everything going on. And it does say Wilmahale also found that the prior board's decision did not arise out of concerns regarding product safety or security, case of development, OpenAI's finances or its statements to investors, customers or business partners. Instead, it was a consequence of a breakdown in the relationship and loss of trust between the prior board and Mr. Altman. And I want to say again, that is the most vaguest thing I've ever heard ever, because these guys really just don't want to listen. I genuinely have no idea what's clear that I don't think we're ever going to get this reason. But I'm just stating, you know, breakdown and trust. This is just super, super vague. But they said that the board's decision did not arise out of concerns regarding product safety or the pace of development. So here the board is stating that, you know, it wasn't out of fear of safety. But then why did Reuters state that, you know, people warned board of an artificial intelligence disruption that could affect humanity going on there. So I'm guessing the OpenAI are trying to prevent those kind of things from going on inside of the company. Like they try to prevent people from going to organizations and having a hotlines and that's why they want else. I mean it kind of makes sense. I would. I mean, I think the governance structure is probably going to change again because like I said, I think OpenAI over time is company anymore. I think it's going to be highly regarded as what they are working on. If it isn't, as some people have stated, if it is as powerful as nukes, I think it's going to still again at that kind of security level. And I think there will be security clearances and you know how previously we do get leaks and stuff like that. I do think that in the future that stuff just isn't going to happen at all because I mean we don't get leaks about what's going on in the Pentagon. I mean we do from whistleblowers, but they would get caught. So I think, you know, in the future the board's going to change again because guys, you have to understand that this is just some of the most powerful thing and I think in the future the world will realize it and then things will have to change again, but never know at the end. So that's just what I want to said that, you know, wasn't regarding safety, security or the pace of development finances. So yeah. And of course it says Wilmer found that the board acted within its broad discretion to terminate Mr. Altman, but also found that his conduct did not mandate removal. So they're basically saying that what he did didn't mandate removal. So I mean, you know, it's kind of interesting. Okay. And then what we also see here says after reviewing the Wilhelm findings, special committee recommended to the full board that it endorsed the November 21 decision to rehire Mr. Altman and Mr. Brockman with knowledge of the review findings. The special committee expressed its full confidence in Mr. Altman and in Mr. Brockman's ongoing leadership of OpenAI. And that special committee is pleased to conclude this review and looks forward continuing with the important work of OpenAI. So it's clear that you know, things are going back on track. But there is actually a lot more information was tweeted around this time I found to be rather fascinating. I'm going to show you guys those tweets now because those are tweets by Sam Altman, Mira Marathi, someone that did work on the board and they said something that kind of concerned me. They didn't really say much more than that. So let's take a look first of course at Mira Marathi's statement. So she said governments of an institution is critical for oversight, stability and continuity. I am happy the independent review has concluded. We can all knighted. It has been disheartening to witness the previous board's efforts to scapegoat me with anonymous and misleading claims in a last effort to save face in the media. Here is the message I sent to my team last night onwards. So if you aren't familiar with what Mira Morati is talking about here and Mira Moratti is one of the senior OpenAI essentially there was an article that came out and said OpenAI's chief technology officer wrote a memo critical of boss Sam Altman's management style to the company's board of directors, setting in motion a chain of events that led to his ouster, according to a report. It says Mira Marathi expressed her concerns to Altman directly before sharing her misgivings about leadership style with company board. According Times, Mira Marathi told the board members that Altman manipulated executives to get what he says Altman would tell people, charm them to go along with his plans, I'm guessing. And it says, you know, Mira Marathi reportedly complained to the board before his firing. Okay. And it also goes on to stay here. And this is just the article. It's not me saying this. It says Altman would tell people that they wanted to hear charm said they would go along his decisions. But if those executives didn't get on board with his plans or took too long to decide, Altman would seek to undermine their credibility, Marathi told the board. Marathi's doubts about Altman were seconded by OpenAI co founder and chief scientist Ilya Sutskova, who faulted the CEO for what he felt was manipulative behavior, the Times reported. Now I want to say that this is of course coming from the New York Times, a company that does have an lawsuit with OpenAI. So it is going to be a bit biased even if it is factual. And then it also goes to state here that both Miro Morati and Sutskova told the board about their turbulent relationship with Altman, was fired in November only to be brought back days later after he won a power struggle that saw the boy. Place says the board were concerned if they didn't take action against Mr. Altman, both Marathi and Satskova would leave the company and take loyalists with them to an exodus of employees. According to the Times, executives expressed support for Altman's reinstatement as CEO despite their contention that he created toxic work environments and that he broke dissent from subordinates. So this was something that was really, really crazy. Now of course, like I said, it's by, you know, the new I'm someone that does have a lawsuit, but I did see this reported by several other news outlets as well. But of course you can see here that Mir Marati is stating that he's been disheartening to witness the previous board's effort to scapegoat me with anonymous and misleading claims in a last ditch effort. So I'm guessing that Mimati is stating that, look, this isn't really true and her statement here Is that saying, you know, some of you may have seen a New York Times article about me and the old board. I find it frustrating that some people seem to want to cause chaos as we are trying to move on. But to very briefly comment on the specific claims here, Sam and I have a strong and productive partnership and I have not been shy about sharing feedback with him directly. I never reached out to the board to give feedback about Sam. However, when the individual board members reached out directly to me for feedback about Sam, I provided it or feedback Sam already knew. That does not in any way mean that I am responsible for or supported the old board's actions, which I still find perplexing. I fought their actions aggressively and we all worked together to bring Sam back. And I'm looking forward to get the board review done. Gossip behind us. Get back to work. So it's clear here that you know the previous article, what they're claiming, Emirati is claiming that it's just out of context and New York Times are just doing this last dish attempt previous board members, and I'm guessing that's going to be something for you guys to side that there was something I did just see that was just tweeted out not too long ago and this was by Helen Toner. So if you don't remember, Helen Toner was someone who was on the board for. It wasn't even that long. I'm not sure how long it was, but it wasn't for that long. But it says, a statement from Helen toner and Tasha McCauley. These record members that are no longer there, these are part of the old board members. And then essentially that she says, OpenAI's mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. OpenAI's structure empowers the board to prioritize this mission above all else, including business interests. Okay? And it says, accountability is important in a company, but it is paramount when building a technology as potentially world changing AI. We hope the new board does its job in governing OpenAI and holding it accountable to the mission. And here's the sentence that everybody is taking and thinking, what on earth do you mean by this? They state, okay, as we told investigators, deception, manipulation and resistance to thorough oversight should be unacceptable. There are many people doing great work at OpenAI. We wish them the new product success. And you know, some people are like, when are you going to tell us what on earth this means? You know, the mission, you know, deception, manipulation and resistance through Ferrari oversight should be unacceptable. So clearly the old board disagrees with what actually happened. And, you know, a lot of people are asking and they're saying, you know, might have been helpful to provide examples of how they've been deceptive and manipulative, especially if you think we should be all be worried about it. And so this is a statement that I think is rather fascinating because it's a statement that brings to the question, what on earth they see. Now, I do know that, you know, whatever it is they did see, you know, we're never going to see the light of day or that, because I guarantee you they sign NDAs, I guarantee if they come out stating something about Sam Altman or someone else, it's going to be seen as slandering. And I mean, that's pretty fair. That's a compelling case. So, I mean, I don't know what they saw that they thought was, you know, deception, investigation manipulation, and resistance to thorough oversight. I have no idea. It's apples and oranges. So I guess, I guess, I guess maybe there's an end to this story. And the end is that, you know, review has been completed and, you know, Altman has led back to the board. I mean, I don't know what your opinions are, but I mean, it's just fascinating to see both sides of this and, you know, so many statements going around. There's literally so much to actually take note and into account. But of course, there was something that was really cool. I found this one really, really fascinating. So, you know, only around three to four hours after that, you know, Sam Altman did actually tweet, you know, in a response to Jimmy Apples. And Jimmy Apples tweeted, OpenAI is nothing without its drama. Now that this is out of the way, let's move on to the release already. And then Sam Altman said, patience, Jimmy. It will be worth the wait. So Sam Altman is, funnily enough, aware of Jimmy Apples existence, and we knew he was before, but him actually responding to a tweet by Jimmy Apples, it's just pretty, pretty hilarious because someone that I've referenced in videos before, and I'm not saying I'm getting credit at all, I'm just saying it's funny to see how all the Jimmy Apples, you know, personality, slash, online Persona, online account, whatever you want to call it, as in terms of reach. So it's just interesting that Sam Altman has actually to that. And I also saw this statement for Sam Altman which shows us what's next. So Sam Altman states, I'm very happy we welcome our new board members, Fiji Sumo, to Desmond Hellman and Nicole Seligman and continue to work with Brett, Larry and Adam. And I'm thankful to everyone on our team for being resilient and staying focused during this challenging time. In particular, I want to thank Mira for a strong partnership and her drama since and in all the quiet moments where it really counts. And Greg plays a special leadership role which without OpenAI simply wouldn't exist. Being in Adventures always sucks, but it's much better than being there two of them. I learned a lot from this experience and one thing I'll say now I believe the former board member was harming OpenAI through some of their actions. I should have handled that situation more. Grace and career. I apologize for this and I wish I had done it different. A genuine belief in the crucial getting a right and I don't know who he's talking about here. A lot of people are speculating tono we have no idea Some people saying he's someone else. I literally have no idea. I don't have any super tad right now anyway so I went for it but doesn't name drop anyone there but I'm guessing that it is someone or member I probably do the math anyways but it does say we have important work in front of us and we can't wait. So I'm guessing that you know like I said before they already have GPT5 change so it'll be interesting to see where things do go from here. I mean what's next Obviously I think G5 will GPT5 is going to be next and based on what's happening but either way I think this is fascinating that the kind of over I don't think we're going to get a final solution this I think this vague statement is going to be the only thing we do get honestly I think really understand what's going to be happening on and I think it's going to be the most that we get so you just have to take whatever is they say. I think that the new board definitely a diverse board in terms of.
