LARRUZ shows how ChatGPT's deep research feature digs up family history. He found a New York immigration record from the 1920s, 16th-century Czech church logs, and a Slovak royal record just by giving it parent names. It pulls historical records most people wouldn't find on their own.

Okay, so this deep research feature from OpenAI is a serious, serious release. This is something I've just been trying for myself. So let me just quickly tell you about it. It's really good at ancestral research. So I gave it the names of one part of my family and then it just blew my mind on what kind of stuff it dug up. I mean, it was looking into immigration documents from the state of New York in the 1920s. Apparently somebody with my family name emigrated there in the 1920s. Also, it was looking at like church logs from the 16th century or something like that from the Czech Republic where my ancestors lived. It found a royal Slovakia with my exact name that comes from the region where my great grandparents lived at and so much more. But honestly, all you need for that is just the full names of your parents and you can really learn some interesting details about the ancestry of anybody. I guess.
