Short excerpt from a YouTube video by LARRUZ ("GPT-4.5 is Here, But Is It Worth the Price Tag? 🤔"). The speaker compares GPT-4.5 to earlier models by running the same prompt ("Write me an essay about penguins") and subjectively judges GPT-4.5's output as more human-like and less textbook‑y, praising its tone and naturalness.
There's a ton of models right now, but GPT 4.5 just sounds the best. Have a look at some of These comparisons between OpenAI's newest model, the one before, and the model that people used to love for writing. Write me an essay about penguins. Okay, this is the prompt that I probably ran the Most across all LLMs, so let me just subjectively judge this. Known primarily for their upright posture, tuxedo like coloration, and charming waddle, penguins are a testament to the marvels of evolutionary adaption. Oh, this is just way better. It sounds less like a textbook and more like something a person would write. Yeah, I mean, that's what this sounds like. Yeah, it just sounds less boring than the other alternatives, don't you think? Definitely more human. I mean, that's lovely.
