Microsoft's Bing with ChatGPT-4: Is it Google Killer?

A YouTube video demonstrating Microsoft’s integration of ChatGPT-style conversational capabilities into the Bing search experience. The speaker walks through demos (menu planning, workouts, coding, tweets, stories), notes that the chat answers include web references, compares the feature to Perplexity AI and Google’s Bard, and encourages viewers to join the Bing waitlist for full access.

The search game just got a whole lot more exciting. Microsoft has raised the bar and introduced a brand new game changing feature that Google simply cannot compete with. They have integrated the incredible Chat GPT technology into their Bing search platform. If you go to bing.com you will notice this new link called Chat. If you click on it, it actually takes you to a new page which shows that chat module is only available when you have access to the new Bing. They have provided a few examples how it might look like. I have already signed up for the wait list and I'll update you guys whenever I get access to the full functioning chat. You can try some of the examples. So for this new Bing search engine, whenever you write a search query apart from the old search results, it also shows this which is basically the chat version. So it's like ChatGPT is now available directly in your browser. For example, for throwing a party and creating a three course menu with a chocolate dessert, it came up with this response. So it says sure, I can suggest a three course menu with the chocolate dessert for you. Vegetarian dinner party. And then it actually lists different items that you can have. So the starter main and dessert. And it also adds links into different websites. So it seems like now it has access to the Internet and that's why it's adding references. It's very similar to Perplexity AI. So if you're not aware, Perplexity AI is a startup which is using AI for search. So let's say if I were to copy the same query and let's try it here, you will notice a lot of similarities between the responses generated by bing and perplexity AI. It's essentially using GPT3 in the background. So it also generates a response and then it gives the references. So you can similarly check these references. So for example, we can go to this first website, it's India Dinner party menu ideas. Right? So there are some similarities between the two. Let's look at some other examples. Click on this. Learn more Here they have introduced the code different features they have. So for example, let's say can you help me get fit? Right? So plan me a workout for my arms and abs with not sit ups and nurture equipment. It should only take 30 minutes. Okay, so let's try this. Apart from the regular search results, now it's generating a response from Chat GPT and it adds these references. That's pretty neat. You can either read these or just directly go to the references. For example, the first One is this popsugar.com and it's essentially another YouTube video. But it's pretty nice and let's see what else it can do. So upon. Okay, coding help. Right. So let's see. Okay, so I think you will have to write something like this. Write code to find Fibonacci sequence in Python. Right. And then based on that search it is returning the code. So it's very similar to what Chat GPT does. Okay. There's a tweet example celebrating my sister's graduation from university. So it write a tweet celebrating my sister graduation from university. So it's easy. So proud of my sister who graduated from university today. She is a superwoman who managed to excel in her studies and so on and so forth. This is awesome. Let's see what else it can do. So write a story for a children about a dog who likes to run fast and perform circus acts. Okay. Buddy was a dog who loved to run the fast. Nice. All right, so essentially everybody is going to have access to Chat GPT. Now it can also help you write jokes as seems like Microsoft also give it a sense of humor. Now with the integration of ChatGPT, the Bing search engine will definitely become a lot more powerful and it could be a worthy competitor for Google. Google also announced their conversational AI called Bard. I think it will be integrated into the Google search engine in near future. Some of these new capabilities that Microsoft is showing off today are not available in Google. So it seems like the work has been cut out for Google to compete with Microsoft now. These are very exciting times to be alive and it's really hard to predict what the future holds for us. I'd encourage everybody to try these demos on Bing.com the chat feature is not yet publicly available, but you can join the waitlist. Hope you like the video. Consider subscribing. Thanks for watching.
