So if you heard about the $200 OpenAI deep research feature but figured that's probably not worth it for you, then you might want to check out Perplexity's Deep Research version that is free. I think it's better than some of the other alternatives out there and that's why I wanted to show it to you. And let me tell you, I ran a few test prompts to have a look at this because obviously this tool being free is sort of a big deal with something as powerful as this and I found this theme to be reoccurring. It's higher quality results than you get from typical searches, so that's a good thing. But generally they feel more like bullet points point lists, maybe one could say bullet point list style summaries of what the ChatGPT deep research would give you. But overall, for anybody who's been holding out on the pro plan, this is a fantastic thing to try. And on the free account as of right now, you can run five of these and see if that helps you.
