Short walkthrough/demo describing Hugging Face Chat's new assistance feature that provides a GPT-store-like collection of ~200 chatbot agents available for free. The speaker notes these bots run on open models (e.g., Mixtral, Llama 70B), that system instructions are exposed and copyable via Settings, and that conversations are shared with developers by default—so users should avoid sensitive info.

So what if I told you you could get the GPT store by OpenAI, which is usually paid for free, and you see the instructions of every single chatbot? Well, that's exactly what hugging Face Chat is. They added this new assistance feature and you can access all of these chatbots for free. So there's barely 200 of them in here, which is not a lot compared to all the GPTs that have been built in a GPT store. But wait a minute, there's some advantages here. So obviously these are not based on GPT4, but on other models like Mixtral or Llama 70B. So you can create some of these yourself, just like so. So essentially, this is very similar to the store, and there's a few interesting things here to check out. One part is that if you start chatting to one of these and you go to Settings, you will find all of the system instructions open source, like so. So you can just copy them and they're freely available. Now, here's another interesting thing I found. Apparently all these conversations are shared with the developers, so be careful with what you put in. This is very useful for the builders of the chatbots. Right. This is on by default, so watch out for that. I think it's fine. It's just something to be aware of.
