Brilliant. And you've— you're enjoying it so much more, like you said, which is again just brilliant.
It's a different mindset. It's like, oh, I've got to go and do this in, I don't know, 5 hours or something. It's like, I don't care if it takes 5 and a half, I don't care if it takes 9, I'm just going to do it. It's a lot different now.
And it's never taken you longer than that either, has it ever? You've actually had like the effect of probably being more efficient by the sounds of things.
Well, on this one I just did this weekend, I was at the first checkpoint for 8 seconds. That's my fastest Wow, 8 seconds! Bagged a banana, a couple of Jelly Babies, and I was off.
That, that's a record, I reckon.
That is my fastest ever checkpoint. Number 1 was 8 seconds. The next one was about 3 minutes.
Oh my gosh, a lot of the time it takes me that long just to get the water bottle lid off.
I'm impressed. Oh, by the time it got to midday, it was filling up the HydraVest every checkpoint, so it was about 5, 6 minutes at each one.
Yeah, but you, you could afford that, can't you, after the 8-second stop?
Yeah, but then if there's Another one, like at Snowdon, there was an ice cream. I'll have an ice cream, lovely. Stop for one of them, I don't care how long it takes.
Oh, brilliant. Another thing that I was just curious to know more is, do you think it was worth the money, the investment that you paid for the programme? Was it worth the money?
Oh yeah, because, you know, you can go to these other, like, wait for the NHS or private stuff, and it'll cost loads and loads and loads. And they, like you said, in the programme, they just go over the same, what you've experienced Over and over again, and it just brings it all back to you. So, you know, I don't want to relive it. I want to move on.
Yeah, and that's what you've done, aren't you? You've done so well. Honestly, I'm just so happy to be having this conversation today and being able to actually ask you questions. And, um, no, that's really good news. Thank you for that. I'm really pleased that you found that it was worth the money.
