So, Joe, is the future of business really, cloning yourself with AI?
That's a great question. So what I would say is cloning is a core component to scale yourself, to scale your time, your team's time, your organization in so many other ways. But the human element, I think, is going to be more important than ever with the supplementation of AI cloning. That's how I see this.
I love it. Well, we're going to be diving in. This is an exciting episode. I am personally so, so excited for this episode of the Marketing Minds podcast because we have Joe Fier who is here, and he is going to be diving in to all things AI cloning, cloning yourself with AI. By the way, I am going through this process right now with Joe and his team, and it is crazy. Literally taking everything I've said online and turning it into an AI clone. We're going to talk all about AI clones. He's done this for hundreds of people, including some of the biggest names in the space, Ramit Sethi. He's also done this for Arnold Schwarzenegger, which is crazy. So I'm sure you got a whole story around that many, many other amazing people. I'm sure you could name drop a whole list of celebrities and marketing and business people that you've worked with to AI clone them. And Joe is also the host of the Hustle and Flowchart podcast, a really amazing podcast. I've actually been a guest there a couple of times. So it's great to have you now on our podcast as well. So, Joe, welcome to the podcast. I'm excited to dive in.
Yeah, man, I appreciate you having me on Alaric. And it's, I've, you know, everything you do is top notch and I've followed you for a long time, like we're talking about. And now it's an honor to clone you. It's gonna be a whole version of you that you. We can't even turn you off now. It's just gonna be always on.
I know, I know. My, my, my team's gonna be gonna be careful. Cause the AI will be, will be there all the time, which is great.
You have control, though. It's okay.
That's true.
That's true.
Well, I'm really excited. And this is a whole new frontier and world. And this is also. And I'm curious too, because I know I want to get into how you're diving into this, but I remember when I first got kind of introduced to this concept of AI cloning, it was actually kind of hearing about how, you know, Tony Robbins wanted to do this years and years and years ago. And my understanding, and you correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if the story is right, he invested something like a million dollars. Like he, he invested tons and tons of money into trying to figure this out. And now this is a technology that we can just do is cloning yourself with AI. So let's have that be the jumping off point. Just to start by telling people what's possible. Just the beginning of this episode. Then I want to take it back to how you discovered this. We're gonna talk about all of your best strategies, all of that. But, but just like, what can this do now? Because in the past, this is something that would cost millions to try and figure out. What does this look like now?
Yeah, what it's. Now. There, there is a platform and it's called. I'm just going to say it, it's called Delphi. So that is the platform. It's kind of like you with YouTube, right? So you got to find the platform that's going to be able to do the stuff and there's going to be a winner. And right now, honestly, there's nothing like this type of technology that's available to the masses. And so it is available right now, albeit there's strategies and all the stuff that we bring and, you know, build and all that stuff. But yeah, I mean, mean, if you're super techy, you know, you probably are like, oh, yeah, I could build a chatbot type system, you know, where it's text and maybe voice. But the problem is a lot of them are very, very basic. There's no real personality. It doesn't have your speaking style, your. The context of, of conversations that people might have as it relates to your knowledge base. Because all this stuff is, it's based on our knowledge. So this concept of cloning, now, just to describe what it is and what's available, it's literally taking all of your published content, or even content you want to develop just for the digital mind and putting it into this secure place, the platform. And we can go through that. That's a common question. I'm like, what happens to my data? Well, we can talk that. But the idea is this platform is made for you. It's kind of like this black box in a way that you get to control however you wish. So that's where, depending on your strategy, the goals of your business, or even just personal goals, you could define that and then essentially give the layers of instructions within the platform. To speak to the world and engage with people literally in 50 plus languages. I mean, I think that covers 90 plus percent of the population of the world that you immediately, you now can engage with anyone, tons of use cases all the way from, you know, lead gen to client facing, members facing, to private and team, team facing. So honestly, you let your mind go when you know, like, what are the possibilities when you know you can have a digital representation of yourself and, and just know that it could scale your time and you. And whatever you're doing and your team around you.
Yeah, yeah, I, I love it. And we're going to dive into all of these use cases because this is something that opened my, my mind to it. Because it's not just about a marketing tool that you can use, right? It's not just about, hey, go talk to my AI and maybe you're interested. You might, you know, want to become a full client. It's like, well, wait a second, we could create a version for. That's got all my public content. But what we're also building is a version that has all my private content, every course, every training I've ever done and giving that to clients so clients get access to that so they can ask the AI. You've got a full version that, that the clients have. And then you have another version for marketing that has everything I've ever said on a, on YouTube, on a podcast, you know, on my newsletter, in my book, things like that. And then you even talked about other examples of teams and having your team have access to you as well. There could be internal sops and different things or even just. How would you say that? Or think about it. I'm excited to dive a little bit deeper into that in just a second. I'm opening a loop, by the way, for everybody here. I know you're. You're the expert at podcasts too, as well. Not just. I've got a couple questions again, another little loop there we're going to dive into a little bit later on. You know about podcasts because You've done over 700 episodes with your Hustle and Flowchart podcast. I do want to know more about that. But the AI clone, that's the big thing that I'm excited about. Let's go back to diving into Delphi. And you are like, you are the expert when it comes to AI cloning and Delphi. You were, I think, one of the first, if not, were you the first, you were user number one on their platform.
Yeah.
Wow. All right, you got to tell me the story of that and then we'll weave that into why that gives you that expertise. Because it's the same thing. It's like people can go and technically set up YouTube ads, but are they going to do it the right way?
Correct.
Go and start building a clone. But are you going to do it the right way? You want to work with the best, you know, expert, or get that expertise and advice. And that's what you do with your clients. Using Delphi as a tool. We're going to talk about that in a second. But just jumping in, what was that story of being user number one for Delphi?
It was wild. Oh, I didn't know it at the time, how wild it was actually. I didn't actually find out I was user 1 until I was at their headquarters in San Francisco earlier March of this year. I actually walked in there and they're like, it's our anniversary. I'm like, cool. And so I didn't know it was actually two years of me being on the platform and then in front of all their engineers because everybody works in house there. They're like, you were very first user. As both the co founders were there. I was like, I didn't know that either. Yeah. So that, that tickled me. Not like it really changed anything, but still it was cool. But the way I found it is it started with my podcast. That was the whole concept. I don't know exactly what triggered it, but I knew AI was starting to develop. You know, you see things like ChatGPT and there were some other tools where I saw people with content were tapping into and creating a searchable way to like sort through different episodes. Because at the time I had like 500 and some change episodes out there. Like, how cool would it be if this became an interactive two way conversation now? Not just me talking at people either, if it's on through the podcast airwaves or you know, the video waves at YouTube. I wanted to have an engagement. Like, I love people. That's why I have a podcast. So I can do this thing. That's what you're doing. You connect and then you do something cool after. That's why I have a podcast. It's like selfish, but then you get to share. And I knew like, hey, through the curation of the people on my show, I get to pick the best of the best because I know my listeners and viewers are going to be affected by what we talk about in some way and they may or may not take action, which is like this network effect. It helps or affects other people around them. So I'm like, I don't know. This is whole, like, big thought. I was like, damn, I'm powerful, being in the driver's seat, being a podcaster. So if you're thinking about podcasting, that's why. So I was like, hey, I can enhance this and make it a super engaging thing where now I can talk with more people than I could here. So I went on a hunt and I went on Twitter at the time, because that's where a lot of the AI early adopter nerds like to hang out. They still do. And I tested like 20 different bots out there, chatbots, but they all felt dumb. Like, kind of like they lacked the personality. They were more question and answer. And it was like, you know, there were a lot of these that would just like, read a PDF and be like, oh, here's the answer. I wanted personality and I also wanted something that would take all my podcast episodes, YouTube, and put it into the platform. And then finally I found Delphi and did not know they had no users at the time. And it was a very different early version of the platform. But I was like, this is the closest thing, because if I couldn't find them, I was just going to have to make it myself. And I did not want to make it myself. I'm not that guy. So I found them and luckily Dara, the co founder, one of the co founders, got back to me within like an hour. And I was like, whoa, hey, so that's cool. And he helped me build the initial account. So that's where, like, he's actually in my account still. And which is cool. But then over time, I just started sending loom videos to him saying all the things I loved about the platform, but also things I would do to make it better. And there are a variety of features, I forget what they are. But, you know, it was things around podcasting, YouTube and like, hey, wouldn't it be cool? And I don't want to take credit for this, but I feel like I. I definitely talked about it, maybe influence, but sync up to your RSS feed so you're pulling in every new episode from a podcast or YouTube video that drops automatically into your brain, your digital mind, so it's always getting smarter so I don't have to manually upload an episode every week or whatever. And they took all this. Other thoughts helped him out with some marketing, told him, like, hey, these are the people you should probably be chat with. Coaches, experts, authors, people that have content are going to love this. And they probably are, they're usually earlier adopters. So long story short, this, this went on for a while and grew some trust and became. I started building these things for my friends and just personal clients, not officially. I was just like, hey, this is a cool platform. I kind of know what I'm doing here. I hacked some stuff together. Let's, let's. You want me to build one for you? And that turned into maybe like, I don't know, like 30ish clients, just people, just again friends or clients. And then it soon to be where they wanted me and my team to become the official team, the build team for Delphi. So as you said, that's like their top tier clients. We are the White Glove service. So we do that for them. And we also are able to have our own company which is called AI Build Team. And that is where we essentially can bring, bring more strategy. We do a little bit separate stuff than what we would do over there. But long story short, that's what we do. We do AI cloning. And now it's been almost 300 different clones we built out. And it's a crazy amount of time that's been created. There's all these metrics that I probably should memorize. But yeah, it's kind of the story.
Right there, which is amazing. I didn't know if you were able to share that or not, which is why I didn't want to say it right off the bat. You are the White Glove team for Delphi, which makes sense. I mean you're user number one. Nobody knows that you, you know, other than their, maybe a couple internal people. You probably know better than many of their internal people too. But anyways, other than like some of the, you know, it's like you've been there from the beginning is really, really amazing. And the fact that you have that skill set is really great. So I want to dive into some of the things that people may not know, the ins and outs of building a clone. And then we'll talk about use cases. I'm sure you also have some interesting stories about some of the people. What you can say, you know, that you've seen AI clones, there's been some really prominent people you've worked with, which is awesome. But before we get into all of that, what are some of the ins and outs even just diving into pitfalls that people fall into if they're going and setting something up. What are some of the things that you know, you should look for? With all of your experience, what have you found? Is the difference between building a clone that kind of sounds like, and maybe this wouldn't happen with Delphi, but like, you know, I know, I know. At least with chat GPT like GPTs, they can still sound like GPT, right? Versus something that actually sounds like the person, which I know that's what you build and that's, that's why you, you know, you're so successful at what you do. What is that difference? Like how does that work? What are the ins and outs, do's and don'ts?
It's, I would say a few things pop to mind. So initially whenever we work with someone, and this is how I build it for myself, is get really clear on what I want to achieve with this whole scale yourself thing. Or you know, it's literally you scaling yourself. And I'm teasing a book that I'm currently writing called you Skills. But if you think about it that way, it's like what's the part in your business that might be a current bottleneck? Or you feel like you're just the one that is the go to for that engagement or that source of information and that could be in the public sphere. So if you're creating content like you are, like I am and a lot of others watching or listening, how do you enhance that? Like how do you engage with more people and maybe create a engagement? Text and audio and video is coming around as well. But make it where it's easy for people to just start a conversation in any language and then you can opt them in. So now it's like there's a lead gen funnel that's engagement. So it's like a different type of media that you're using. That's like one common use case. Or do you have clients that are always going to you or your team asking questions every day? Well, guess what? Like we've solved that for that's the most common use case is that one. And so get really clear on the outcome or like what's the thing team, you know, that's another big one. And so doing that drives the strategy and within Delphi. Yeah, getting into the weeds a little bit. There's a lot of ways to program, you know, different instructions or the purposes of these things to define how it's going to interact with people. So knowing the strategy thing number one. Thing number two is figure out your content. You know, get really, you don't want to put everything under the moon or sky sun that you, that you've ever published but you know, publish great stuff in there and we can talk about, you could segment content, but really put the stuff in there that you want the world to know about or whatever particular strategy or use case you're going with for. And then at the same time, I would say your voice is a biggie and getting your voice right. So that requires, you know, really good audio. And we might have. You might have done this already with like 11 labs. That's probably the most common one. Cloning your voice. Well, it's a very similar process here. You could tune it up, but the fact is, like, if you nail that, because a lot of people will use the voice feature. I don't know the exact breakdown of text or voice, but you see everything's going audio and voice now. You know, like, you see a lot of chatgpt. I think GROK is leading with voice over text now. So just make sure your voice is dialed in and have an option there, because if you're not, you're leaving people hanging. And then really what Delphi is doing as a platform, this is why it's smart, is as you upload the correct content and you steer it in the right direction with the strategy and you have a good voice attached, so it's cloned properly, it's going to pick up on your speaking style or your writing style. So that is automatically. And we definitely tune it up a lot more, but automatically it does a really good job. Whereas like a GPT, you know, there's. You can certainly do a pretty good job there, but it takes custom coding. You got to figure it out yourself. Upload. It's, it's more manual, this one. It's done for you and pretty much out of the gate. Like it's good. Like it'll pick up on little words or phrases you use and sprinkle those into the responses. It literally sounds like you. It's not going to sound like an AI. So, yeah, those are the three pillars, I would say. Strategy, content that write content and then nailing your voice.
Yeah, that's the crazy thing in testing it out, you know, chatting and then it sends back the way that I would write things. And then also the audio feature too. Yes, it's, it's, it's, it's very surreal and it's one of those things that, you know, it's just, it's crazy to see how it can actually not just get the information, but also the style and the way it's presented, which I think is the big thing that a lot of other places are missing. So even when you, you know, in the Past if you were to create a custom GPT on some data, it still would sound like chat GPT reciting the information. There's a big difference between information and the style in which you present it, which I think is the key, and that's what I see in these clones is it really is about the style, which is, which is great. All right, so there's, there's a few key types. We're going to talk about some more, you know, tactics and strategies in a second. But there's, there's using this for lead generation, so bringing leads in. There's using this for clients, there's using this for your team. Maybe there's other things, what we talk about in a second too. I'd love to go over all the use cases using this as a marketing opportunity to attract new people. What are the best use cases for that? What are the recommendations for that? Like how does that work to use an AI clone to attract new people in your marketing?
Cool. Yeah, that's an awesome one. So that's one of the most common use cases, I'd say the top two. This is if you imagine how it works. We'll talk about that first because we all know what a lead magnet is and what it can do. But see this as a new way of communication. Like I have the marketing background, that's what I've done for 15 plus years. So I, I think of Delphi or this AI cloning as a conversational funnel, if you will. It's more of a journey you're taking people on. So that's part of the strategy is mapping out how do you want this person to feel going through the conversation and where are you leading them towards, what's the call to action or call to actions. And so as a legion front facing type thing, you imagine this can live on your website. You know, it could be on your homepage, the menu bar, shout it out on your podcast or YouTube videos, put it in YouTube description, you, Your link tree, your emails, your email signature, these are all like low hanging fruit. And if you just know that, you can have a centralized call to action or it can be part of whatever you have developed there that supplements it through the course of conversation. Let's say if someone's starting a text thread, conversation or voice, it's going to have an opt in built into that conversation. So on the text side, let's just say this, you could set how many anonymous or free texts that you do before an opt in message pops up that says hey, to continue this conversation and Have a personalized experience, enter your email address and then that'll send a code and basically they're opted in on that device. What's nice is not only are they opting in, you could sync this to your CRM and then do all the follow ups. Delphi kind of acts like a CRM but you know, you can pipe it over to GHL HubSpot, whatever you're at. What you can do is, you know, on the voice you can do the same thing, but you're getting the most engaged people now coming through. If you imagine if they're having a, let's say you have three anonymous messages and they want to continue. Well, they're showing intent that they're pretty interested in what you got. So that's where you have that little thing on there. And you know, once they opt in, literally it's going to start creating a picture about that person, kind of like chat GPT would. So there's a profile created on that person. It stores it in Delphi. And this is why I think Delphi is kind of like a CRM in itself, which is not so off from the surface level which you're using it, but that will create kind of a memory. Then if someone like a week later, if they come back to the chat, it's going to remember. It'll be like, hey Alaric, we were chatting about that YouTube hook that you're working on. Do you want to finish that? Or how'd that video go? Did you publish it? Like it will remember. And that's one way, you know, on the public side to know like you're looping people in.
Like actually didn't even know that part we talked about. I was already so impressed by all of it. And we're in the process of, you know, finalizing my client. So I've been testing more individually. But that's incredible that you know, it can actually remember the context of the. Which I guess makes sense, right? It's taking that, that concept, right, that, that we're familiar with in a chatgpt, but now it's with your own clone. That's really exciting.
Wow, it's really cool. And layer this on there. We can set up an action. So kind of like zapier, a trigger based action. So trigger an action. We could say, hey, let's say this person's inactive for three days. Well, let's send them an email or some type of notification to get them back to the chat to keep it going. And you can even customize that message per user. So it's not like you're typing out messages and it's actually a problem. You can say like, hey, remind the user about the previous thing, the topic they talked about. And so it's all relevant and it's natural. Yeah, it's amazing.
Oh, I'm excited for my AI to have that dude just following up with people. It's like, hey, how did, how did your ads go? Or how's this going? Or yeah, that's awesome. And also you can see how that'll be valuable. I'm sure you can do really in depth stuff on a client flow too. So. All right, so we're talking about, we just talked about how this could be used for marketing. I'm sure people are coming up with all ideas. Anything else you would add to that, you know, on the marketing side that you've seen work?
Well, I would say on the content side. So if we're going through again back to the strategy of like, I'd say the first two, know your strategy of what you're doing on public. So where is this going to live? If it's your main call to action, I would say like dial it in for that. So just know whenever you shout it out, it should know that kind of content. So it's. You can segment out your private content, your client facing content so it doesn't leak to the public facing. That's pretty common question. So you have the ability to silo. Right now, I think it's like two main buckets. So just making sure that's all organized. And that's where again, that's like where our team like really gets in the weeds and does this. Because some of this is not the most obvious. I'll just say when you're going on, it's like YouTube too. It's like you have all these things. Where do I start? So yeah, but that's, that's what I would focus on is content and then knowing your strategy. I think we nailed it pretty well.
Yeah, perfect. And so. Yeah, and so that's the side that's public facing. So people are seeing that it's got all your. And not just all of it. It's the most relevant. Right. YouTube content, different things. Actually a question on that side is, you know, with the relevancy. So let's say you had a podcast episode or something that was talked about three years ago and maybe that's dated and then now does it take that into account as well? What the recency. Oh wow.
It does. Yeah. So it'll recency bias the newest content and it'll see that it has topics it might have been overriding or updating from previous. So it'll always reference the newest stuff.
Well that's great.
Just like our brains would. Right.
All these things you could think about are already built in and that's what you're also what you're helping build in, you know as well when you're setting it up. All right, so on the other side, so it sounds like there's two main sides, the public side and then there's the private and then there's two use cases on the private. Right. You got clients or you have your team or you could even sell, you know, some people especially maybe if somebody's a little bit more of an influencer, they could potentially sell access to the private one as the, the thing that they do. I know some people, a lot of the people who listen or watch this show might have higher ticket coaching consulting offers and then that just gets added as a piece of that offer. But you know, in of itself, you know, it's a sellable thing. So what does that other side look like, the one that's more built out, some more of your in depth information. What's the best practices use cases on that side?
Yeah, this is the most common use case for anyone who has an existing community course platform members area clients. It really doesn't matter what industry as long as you have people who are in this password protected or somewhere gated area that needs a little bit more touch. You know, they, they want access, they should have access to more. So that's how we treat it. Again, figure out the strategy, like what do you want it to be? I like to think of like the Dan Sullivan question or is how he thinks is like, hey, how do we make this out of 10? How do we make it on 11? I think he words it differently but like how do you make that kind of experience feel like an 11 to your most premium members? Because I'll say the benefit is immediately you're going to take the load off your team if they're supporting. I've seen that many times where it takes like literally a gal. I won't name names here, but hundreds of messages she was responding to every day. And immediately I think it dropped to like 75% reduction or more. And she's like in a week and she's like, I have my life back. And she was managing the entire community of thousands of people, people. So I was like, okay, so it's taking the burden off your team or you There's a better experience to your members so they're getting access to you 247 and we've seen churn drop because of that. And you're getting these especially early adopters like you can use them as this kind of beta and be very honest like hey, this is early but we want your feedback. So then you have buy in on this concept. It's like this perfect storm, you know, and you're not promising it's perfect because it's not, nothing is. But it's always evolving. So those are some of the reasons. And of course like you said, you can charge more, you can bonus it in, it could be a separate offer. All that's totally doable. Again, back to strategy. What do you want to do though? So the easiest thing is to I would say put it into an existing community as a companion because now you have an always on version of you. I should probably specify this. It's always you as a person. So Delphi, that platform specifically, it's very. The idea is to clone a person in the way they think so they connect. It's not cloning a fictitious person, it's not an organization, you can be attached to one, but it's a person because it's emulating people. That's the whole concept. So just want to put that out there. That's another common question. But in the members area, see it as a companion, this always on companion that knows all the content they have access to. It can live in your members area and be embedded in there. So if you have kajabi or I mean there's so many other things out there, mighty network circle, like it all, there's a way, it's like a text HTML, there's iFrame, there's JavaScript. So there's different ways to do it. And the idea is that within there you still want them to create a profile. So opt in. It's not for the purpose of hey, we're going to go market to you now and follow up but it's so they have their profile and again just like on that public facing, they can now know that this companion is going to remember their conversation, it's going to remember context about their business or what they're going through, the struggles, the stuff they're working on and literally they can brainstorm with it and not have to go to the human even though the human is still very valuable where it's not replacing humans, you know, but it's supplementing. It's just giving a ton more value and accessibility yeah, and that's the thing.
Too, is because you can take all the coaching calls, all the different things, and then it's going to get that coaching and then apply it to the situation. That's. That's the thing that I think, especially people. And I know a lot of the people who watch this podcast, either they themselves are a coach, consultant or expert, or they work with a coach, consultant or expert, maybe on the marketing team or something like that. You know, that is such a powerful thing. And what I love. And it's great. This is why I love, you know, podcasts like this, because even with the stuff that we're doing, I'm sure it was the next thing I was going to discover. But the fact that it remembers context is so key. That's actually one big thing that I think, like, yeah, you should, like, plaster that everywhere because that's a key game changer for clients. They understand. Oh, hey, you told me, you know, last month you were, you know, when you were just relying on Facebook ads, the lead cost was high. And I know you just set up your YouTube ads and you went through that. Like, how is that looking now? How is the quality now? How. How is this part of the funnel? You know, like, it's. If it has that context. Yeah, it's going to be.
That's right.
Yeah, that's. That's going to be.
And that's what I would recommend is we always. There's education on how this thing can be used in a community to the folks we work with, because again, it's not obvious until we start talking it through. If you give your members prompts or, like, ways that they can use it, like a little hack I'd like to do is you could literally ask Delphi and be like, how can I use you? How can I engage with you? And then it can list the top use cases. And, you know, you want to educate not only your team, but your users on how to use it. It's just like any tool. It's like if it's just thrown out there, then I guess it might be useful, like one time, but then people don't go to it. So you just gotta make it kind of that thing that can integrate within everything you're doing, makes it more valuable.
I love it. I love it. I'm excited to, yeah. Fully integrate this too. I know we've been starting on the marketing, you know, external side of it, then diving into the internal. And for our clients, you could just see how big of a value add this is, which is really Exciting. And so I want to talk a little bit about the concept of scaling yourself, which I know is also the new book coming up. We're going to dive into some more advanced stuff, you know, and strategies in a second here. But I want to take a step back and look at the big picture. Right. The concept of scaling yourself. I know that's, you know, a big piece of the book that you have coming out here soon. It's obviously the concept that you're using with AI clones. What does that mean to you? What do you see with that? And yeah, maybe you could share a little bit more about the concept of scaling yourself.
Yeah, yeah. Like when I think of scaling yourself or you know, like. Yeah, it's actually. Yeah, I call it you scaled because I think of like YouTube, you know, but it's like you scaled, like. Yeah, I know. I figured you'd like it. Yeah. And this is like one of the first times actually talking about this book because it's. Yeah, it's something I'm just, I'm like, this needs to get done. And I will, I will not lie and say Delphi is helping me create the book. I'll talk it. I'll. I can talk it through. That's fine. But it, it really comes from the concept of what I had with Hustle and Flowchart. My podcast early days is like, I wanted to make a way that's just a multi way to engage with literally anyone. I didn't want barriers. So thinking about the time that we can save, like, I. I literally do this with my friends sometimes. I have a good buddy of mine, he. The phrase I don't like is, hey, can I pick your brain for an hour? I'm like, oh my God, it sounds super painful. I don't want that. But you know, for people I love, hey, it's fine. But I sent him my clone and I was like, hey, you got a week before our call. Go, go hang out and like test this thing out. I'm super curious. He told me yesterday he spent three hours on that thing and it literally had a recap of his three hour call and it was ready for. And he brought it to the call. So it was like, we actually just jammed for like 20 minutes and then we just hung out the rest. So that concept of scaling, like, that's a personal level. But like, I just think of like all the ways that I can authentically scale myself. And that's the key thing is authentic, because it knows me. It's. I have it programmed in a way to represent me in the way that I would want. You know, if it's speaking Arabic or Spanish or English, it. It's going to still have me, but I don't speak those languages. Oh, I speak a little bit of Spanish, but like, I can't speak 50 languages. The concept of saving time, scaling myself, scaling my team and then having a confident partner, like a collaborator, basically is what I have. That's what I'm doing with the book. I can run by ideas and kind of get critical feedback. That's how I'm like, okay, wow, there's AI is so cool. And you can go really wide and broad if you use like ChatGPT or Cloud and all these. Definitely hone them in. But a platform that's made for you and to emulate you. I haven't found anything that's like, my brain is still buzzing. It's been three years of using this. I'm just like, there's so many other cool things to do with this thing. Yeah. So the you scaled concept, there's like a methodology I'm breaking down. It's kind of like what we're talking about here, where you can extract that from your brain or through your published content. Because we all have some message we're putting out there in a way we connect. So why not harness it into this new media type? That's really how I see it. It's new media and. And then it can live in all sorts of locations as long as you're kind of thinking through the strategy. Yeah, that's.
That's amazing. And just exactly thinking about the possibilities when you can actually scale yourself and in all these different directions. Right. So talking about, like you said, somebody being able to chat with the AI clone of you to get to know you better, even before a call in different languages, clients being able to do that and it remembering context and actually this brings into another great point which, by the way, for. For your book, I know it might be on the horizon here, but, you know, I believe you're going to have at least some kind of wait list down below. We're going to put all the links down in the description. We'll talk about a couple AI links that come up in a second. But we want you to stay here for the episode before you get too, too distracted because you may be able to play around with. With. With Joe's AI and my AI, but. But pro, I promise there's some more gold left in this episode. We got it. We got a few more minutes here, so we'll Drop all those links though, in the description. Internal analytics. This is really interesting because this is something I know not many people might be thinking about, but if you're, you know, a business owner who is doing this, the analytics that you can see and the data that you can see on users and what they're typing in, I'm sure is so valuable. So tell me more about the internal dashboard that when you set up this AI clone, what can you see people are typing in? What is that data? What are some use cases behind all of that as well?
Absolutely. As part of. And this is all spelled out to users and whatnot. But like they're creating a profile and they're opting in to this so you as a user have access to the information. So there's in general themes of your audience, which is really cool because you could see what are your popular topics that people are asking about or talking about? What are some, yeah, popular questions or even unanswered questions. That's helpful if you need to like fill in a gap in your content and people are like, hey, this topic keeps coming up. So as a whole you could see a general idea and overview of what people are talking about. And that gives you so many ideas for what kind of content should I make or how should I, you know, how should I start angling my offers or sell potentially? Like there's many different things. You can definitely go on the granular level of things and see what people are chatting about as well. And again, being transparent, you gotta, yeah, be transparent with how this is working. The technology, it's always good, but that's how you can refine answers, you can respond to people. It's kind of like if you were to like a support chat as well. So it's like you can actually respond as a human if you wanted to as well. So this is where there's an integration of human and AI operating in this whole thing. So you're able to actually connect with people deeper. If you wanted to go into a conversation, you could be alerted. You could set up alerts based on keywords or form phrases. So it could say, hey, this person wants to speak to a human. That's where someone, you or someone on your team can pop in there and maybe it's like a really hot prospect, you know, someone that a sales guy or gal should pop in on or someone support things like that. You can see how much time you've saved generally based on the number of messages. You can see that people engage with text or audio or video when that Comes so many different KPIs you could drill into. And like you said, and that's building out more and more the analytics dashboard. And I'm just thinking of YouTube again, because I'm looking at you, I'm like, YouTube's like the best analytics platform. Google. I mean, it's kind of hard to beat that. So my hope is Delphi keeps pushing more that way. Yeah, at the end of the day, with Delphi you can always integrate out. Like you can push to webhooks and you can push to Zapier or Nan and all these other places. If you really get nerdy, think about the ways that you could take the data coming in and push it into your other systems so it doesn't all have to live in house there. If you want to take it another step, you know, you can really get granular in the data and possibly automate things based on that data. There's so many other things to do, which is way too techy for right now. But yeah, the data is where it's at.
I love it. I love it. And I'll dive into the future of where we see AI clones going in a second. Maybe some, you know, kind of golden nuggets here in a second. But I'm also curious. You've worked with a lot of amazing people. What have you noticed working with, you know, some of these different people setting up their AI clones? I'm just curious, do you have any stories that come to mind? I'm actually, I don't know if you could say anything about, you know, but you work with Arnold Schwarzenegger as an example. Other people in the.
Lot of Big authors.
Yeah, big authors and speakers. Anything come to mind, you know, in terms of what it's. What it's been like working with those people and cloning them with AI, which is.
Yeah, yeah, it helps when there's a lot of content out there. So it's easier to clone someone that way. Of course. So usually these folks come with a ton of content and luckily a team to help distill that content in. Because that's usually the biggest bottleneck. I think generally the common thing is like, it's kind of like this OS moment. I don't know if I could swear here, but like you see it in their eyes and I saw it in yours earlier when I talked about the follow up and the, you know, the accountability. It's usually something that triggers them and then they just kind of sit back and they're like, holy crap. Like you could do that because Going into the platform, I don't think most people understand what's possible. They just kind of have like one thing or they've been told, hey, I can, you know, I can engage with people. And it kind of sounds like me. And it's like chat GPT or a custom GPT, but it's like, that's a very simplistic view of what it can do. And the tech, I mean, really, overall, that's the takeaway is like, everyone's on this even playing field right now. It's very early, extremely early. Even though, you know, it's been around for a few years now and the tech AI has been around even much longer. But now even, even the most early adopters right now, like these celebrities, the biggest thought leaders that just jump on the platform without knowing it's because they want to be first and then. But they really don't understand it fully. And I think, like, through the course of this conversation, I bet you guys understand way more than they probably still do, to be very honest.
Exactly. With me too. I knew this is. I wanted to do. It's actually kind of funny because even before we talked about this and we've known each other for a long time, but I didn't know how much you, you know, dove into this. From the first time we did the podcast to the second podcast, and I had it on my. I literally had, you know, I've got a board of, like, ideas and things to do, and it was like, you know, create an AI clone. I had like Delphi or whatever. But it was also one of those things where I didn't know the ins and outs of that and like, all the best practices and there's a lot of settings in there. There's a lot of this. This is actually a really good transition. Then after that, we'll get into the future of, of AI. So do not go anywhere. We've got. We always have golden nuggets after the call to action at the, at the end here. But it's a really good segue because, you know, it's been, it's. It's been really great so far. You know, working with your team has been incredible. Like, you know, getting all the different pieces, like, hey, we just need a couple links, and then it could just go and get my entire YouTube channel and all these different pieces and all the ins and outs and it's exciting to see and there's a whole refinement process and all that. But, um, you know, obviously working with you, you've built this out for hundreds of people, myself included. We're working on my AI clone which will be one of the links we'll share in a second here. But how can people find out more about you and if they want to have their own AI clone built, what's the best way to discover that and anything you want to share on your particular service? Because I know you have a whole white glove service around this.
Appreciate it. Al. Yeah, the best way to engage and this is like literally you could talk with my clone right now, it's available and I'll actually take you straight to where you can, you can see mine, you can even see my business partner. So you can see a couple and they're embedded on our websites which people love to see how it integrates. So if you go to AIBuildTeam AI Joe, that'll take you right to my clone and you can literally just start chatting within there. There are a couple like suggested questions or prompts that start you off. So if you wanted to go deeper on like how can I use cloning right now and all that stuff, just click one of the buttons and it'll literally start you down that thread. As part of being on there, you will opt in and I'll make sure that you guys get hooked up with a early copy of the book as well. Once it's ready, it'll be free. Not paying. I'm just putting it out there. So as long as you're engaging with the clone, you will be see the word when the book drops really soon here. But yeah, AIBuildTeam AI Joe will get you there and you can peek at all the services. Basically what we do is exactly what we've been talking about is fortunately we have a great deal with Delphi where they trust us to work with their VIP clients, but we're also able to work with people that we bring in. We have a great network, Scott, Me and my partner, we have a whole crew that we have a whole team that's managing this works with you. It's white glove service literally is what it is. So we're the service and the strategy all the way to the creators. We're going to help you test it, integrate it, optimize and based on your use cases. And then there's the platform. So Delphi, we're working with them right now on the build out. So it's kind of like how we're set up. You have the service and you have the platform. So that's kind of it. And it's all spelled out actually on the website so no need to go going deep here but that's how you find it.
Love it.
Awesome.
Well, we'll put all those links down below and it's exciting. This is the first time this is exclusive that we'll also put my AI, which Joe and his team put together. This is really exciting and it's.
We'll.
We'll put the little asterisk that it's in beta and it's going to get better and better but already it's crazy how good it is. Which is, which is amazing. So you could just go to Alric AI. That's a L E R I C A. I will put that down below. I was able. I was sitting on that domain and I'm ready to pull it out.
So jealous, man. I wish I got Joe AI but little too common.
No, that was.
Yeah, I wasn't forward thinking enough but alright. AI yeah we're. I'm stoked to put that out there and I can't wait for what everyone else you listening, watching are going to say to it. I mean, yeah, like literally just go crazy with like part of. And I'm sorry if I say this but like you could go nuts with the testing. You should see the kind of things that people have said. And as a platform, Delphi does an amazing job at understanding its instructions and how we steer the conversation to like, hey, let's talk about what Alaric does best. It's not, it's not. We're not talking about politics, we're not talking about hell and all this stuff it'll acknowledge but then it steers back in a really kind way in your personality. Yeah, I think it's gonna be cool.
I love it. Well, I'm excited. I'm excited to see what people do. It's gonna be amazing. We'll put the links to all of that down below. All right. In the last couple minutes that we have here, what is and what do you see? I know this is crazy because this could be a whole nother podcast episode, which maybe it needs to be. I know I did two episodes on your podcast. We might need to have you back here. Comment down below if you want to see Joe back on another podcast. I've got a feeling this is going to be a popular one. Cloning yourself with AI but in a couple minutes, what do you think the future of AI clones looks like?
Yeah, this is man, I got to distill this because I literally have late night chats all the time with myself with oh my God. It's a crazy idea, but it's not quite there yet or built in. I think the initial one that, you know, there was a video on the platform a few months back I had to temporarily pause because the tech just honestly isn't quite there yet. It's a little clunky, a little slow. So video 100% is part of the future and that's a, you know, physical digital representation of yourself. I've seen it before so I know it exists, but it's just going to get better. The caveat, I'll say there and this is where, and I should have said this earlier with cloning there's like hey Gins, there's Synthesia out there where it's a video clone. Those are scripted. So there's like a scripted clone and then there's this very dynamic, always modulating and unique kind of clone. That's what we're talking with Delphi. So hopefully, and I should have said this a lot earlier but like that's where when it comes to AI cloning it's kind of like there's a lot of definitions right now or it might be a digital avatar is another term. So jury's out on how what these things are going to be called in like a couple years. But video will certainly be a component. It's going to be unique to you. It's not scripted. So that means that like on the fly it's modulating and giving you answers. I think holograms are also coming. Yeah, like that's a thing. And I feel like that will also be, you know, where you can maybe have a mentor on your desk or something, you know, like that is connected to whoever that, that you're, you're talking with. You know, a different clone representation. I could see a network of clones as well. If you can imagine like pods, pods of clones talking to each other, a mastermind of sorts, you know, like just imagine where that can go creations into all of your other apps. That's a no brainer. It's already happening and you can kind of string it along with N8N or make or zapier if you know what you're doing. But I certainly like for accountability for follow ups for all that stuff. So I think this is going to be integrated into a lot of platforms to be honest, like just as a layer of new media like how email is. But now it's going to be a customized thing where everyone's going to have a unique message to, that can send to maybe different inboxes or different areas that people are hanging out. It'll be that unique tap in that your clone or someone else's clone can enrich that whole thing. And again, I'm all about the humans too. So the humans aren't going anywhere.
Well, the other thing too is a tool. And there also needs to be something to clone. Right. And I think that's the thing a lot of people are thinking about is if everything's a derivative, then it just becomes photocopies of a photocopy. Right. And that's why I think people being creative, and I know we've talked about this, like why people being creative is so important and valuable because it's putting new things out there. And then yes, AI can help you amplify that, but you have to yourself, you're an expert at something that the AI is amplifying. So what's the start? The same thing with producing videos, things like that. I've got one other thing that I think is really cool is to think about the implications with sales. And I think of an implication right now that I just thought of. And then in the future, and we may even talk about this one on the sales side. I'm trying to, but. But I definitely want to implement which is it has all the information so my sales team can pull it up the chat window and be like, all right, the prospect said that they've got a business as this and here's their lead cost, like based on everything that we know, like what's possible with YouTube ads. And they could get more of a specific. Because, you know, sometimes my advisors that are more sales focused on the phone, they might not have all the insights that I have of actually doing the app and doing that. And so they could get that information. But then also the future. And I'm curious your thoughts on this. Like, you could have full AI sales conversations. I'm curious if that's where things might be going as well and if there's any sense with Delphi, anything like that.
There's a story actually, because you're spot on with what like people on your team and this is already happening where yeah, they become experts now in your whole business. They can. They don't need to go to you for the answers. And they get. They're dangerous. Like they can. They aren't very helpful in a good. In that way. But I heard a story recently where someone and I go to my ear because this is the future. And I'm going to say what that means, but like, basically they had their clone pulled up. It was one of my clients, clones, and their client was on a sales call. And I guess what they did is they were talking to the clone while they're on the sales call and asking, hey, the client just said this. That's an objection. How do I handle it? And literally right in the moment, they took the. The exact words from the clone, set it on the call, and then close the deal. So it's not as seamless, though. Whereas, like, I could see the future where that's in their ear like that now it's like it's hearing the conversation and it's kind of like augmenting and allow. It's like that little whisper in your ear. It's like, hey, do this thing. So I can see that happening. Yeah, yeah.
There's so much, so much on the horizon, and I think we're definitely going to need to have a part two. But let us know in the comments if you want to see that at some point here in the future. Definitely. Go and check out Joe's AI and the AI Build team the links down below. I'll also put my AI as well to have some fun with. Thank you so much again for being on the podcast, Joe. This was amazing.
This was super fun. Alaric. Thanks for having me, man.
