Hey, here we are at Beit She'an, and still in northern Israel, but we're headed down towards the south. We're on our Steps of Jesus tour with P33 Adventures. This is the city where King Saul and his son Jonathan, David's best friend, were actually killed in the battle that they had here. And then the messenger came from here down to David and told him about the death, and David mourned their death. The king of Israel died here on the tell behind us, which was the fortified city. This city that you're seeing at the bottom of the tell is a Roman city that's from a little bit later, much later, In fact, it's from after the time of Jesus, most of what you're seeing. But this is part of our Steps of Jesus tour. If you could join us, you'll be able to walk right here with us.
