John Rodrigues built an AI agent that catches when Figma designs drift from the actual code. It audits the mismatch automatically and can fix it, though he's careful about trust: he shows it working in workshops first. Embedding these agents into design-system pipelines keeps everything in sync.

One of the biggest challenge working with design systems and Figma and code, all those 3 different platforms together, is the sync issue that happens. If you change something in Figma and then the code is not synced and all that sync, that issue happen. Usually that also leads to creating drifts in the agents and things that you're building. I built this sync audit agent that automatically audits and identifies this between the Figma and as well as the code, and then gives you a report. Right now, the agents can do it in 2 ways. One is manually, you can trigger that, but also there's an automated sync that runs the audit and then also gives you a report and then goes and fixes it as well. Sometimes people have trust issues, trusting these agents. I've created both and we've been sharing that in our workshops and courses and all that stuff. This is a good way to build these agents around your design systems to automate some of the workflows and then creating the sync between platforms that are using through MCPs and all that. But it's super helpful. So yeah, I've been building all this like agents to in the design systems workflow to have that sync between design code and different tools. Yeah, I just wanted to share this sync audit agents that I built.
