4 Pillars of Christianity in the Prophetic

In this devotional teaching, the speaker outlines four foundational practices—intensive Scripture study, daily dedicated prayer (the "prayer closet"), continual worship, and living a holy, sanctified life—as the essential "pillars" for anyone seeking to grow in prophetic anointing and deeper intimacy with God. He provides concrete routines: reading three chapters a day (about a nine‑month cycle), rotating Bible translations for deeper linguistic insight, and a step‑by‑step prayer‑room model that mirrors Old‑Testament temple imagery (gate, sacrificial table, laver, worship). He stresses that prophetic ministry depends on obedience, a high "metron" (spiritual influence), and a relationship‑based kingdom rather than works‑based performance. The teaching also addresses how holiness protects against spiritual attack, cultivates the fruit of the Spirit, and enables believers to receive correction and grow in Christ‑like character. Throughout, the speaker encourages enthusiastic, disciplined commitment, urging viewers to subscribe, share, and apply these practices to experience greater prophetic effectiveness and personal blessing.

Hello everyone, I hope you're having a great day today. So this is day 5 of our prophetic series, and I'm here to talk about how to grow in your anointing in the prophetic. Now this is actually going to be a very straightforward video, really will apply to almost anything that you do for God as you go forward. It is something that I've talked about in the past, and it is the 4 pillars of Christianity, and so if you are liking these videos, please subscribe to the YouTube channel and go ahead and share the content with others so we can continue to spread the gospel throughout all the nations and races. And so what are the four pillars of Christianity? Well, that's pretty straightforward. Those are reading the Word of God and immersing yourself and studying it. It is your daily prayer time with God. It is also Worshiping and leading a holy life. So let's do a deep dive into these areas so we can understand exactly the expectation God has for us in these things so that we can better grow in our anointing and grow. Ultimately, what this is really for is a closer relationship with God, because you'll know that as a prophet operates in his or her anointing, the key thing is, is you have to have a level of obedience, and God has to trust you with the things that you have been given. We talked about your metron and the influence, and this is how we can continue to grow that in a very steady and controlled way. Because you really don't want to be embarking in the prophetic unless it's something that God has already graced you to do. Otherwise, your metron will stay low, and your influence and your ability to influence the kingdom of God for his betterment is not going to ultimately happen. So let's dive into the Word of God. So what does it mean to actually study the Word of God, read the Word of God? One of the best examples that I give people is, is being able to read 3 chapters a day. That's kind of what I kind of describe as a starter point. If you're not currently reading the Word on a day-to-day basis, that's the best place to start, is pick up a version that you like, whether it's the NLT, NIV, NASB, ESV, so many good versions. Just start in Genesis and start reading. Just go. If it's something that you're— you really want to dive into the New Testament, then you can start with Matthew. But my recommendation is start with the Gospel of John and then continue and cycle back and finish at Luke. The reason why is, is that when you start to read the Bible 3 chapters a day on average, you'll get through the Bible in about 9 months. That's about the time it takes to get through it. Some chapters are longer, some chapters are shorter, but if you kind of push through and get an average of 3 over, you know, every single day— this is 7 days a week— then you'll get through the Bible in a nice period. The reason it's important to get through the Bible in about a 9-month period of time versus these year-long Bible studies is because you need to understand the context of the theme that the Holy Spirit is showing you. One of the things you'll notice is, is that if you start to study, as an example, the NIV, you'll get a theme that the Holy Spirit will be teaching to you and will actually continue through the entire time you read it. There's just so many themes. The theme I'm currently on is actually how the current worship in the Old Testament, specifically after King Solomon's reign had ended, what ultimately happened— and this also happened in Judges, as the Holy Spirit is showing me— is that there was rampant sexual immorality in Israel. And what happened is, is the one of the previous themes that he had showed me going through in a different version— I think it was in the ESV— he showed me about how adulterous the nature was, but I didn't really understand contextually what he meant. But now they were actually both committing physical sexual immorality as well as spiritual sexual immorality. And he shows that those themes develop as you understand and read the Bible at a very good pace. Not a rush, not a sprint, but rather something that allows you to absorb the information chapter after chapter. And in the Old Testament, it can be pretty difficult at times to listen and read through the sin and going through Chronicles and Numbers and Leviticus, where they're going through the repetitive aspects of the sacrificial law, the Mosaic law. But what happens is, is when you start to underspirit— you understand the spiritual nature of the scriptures, you'll actually see that, that the Levitical law has this deep spiritual aspect to it. You'll start to understand that unleavened bread means a holy life, a life without sin. That you'll see the oil is the Holy Spirit mixed together. So you have flour, which is representative of our body, and then the unleavened bread, which is lack of yeast, which yeast was always attached to sin. So a sinless life mixed with oil, you get the Holy Spirit living in within us. And the entire Old Testament comes to life when you start to see that. It's no longer this drudgery book that you're trying to struggle with. That, that's where the study comes in. And my suggestion is, is to try to take maybe a chapter a week and do a deep dive and really understand the Hebrew words, the Greek words, the Aramaic words, because meaning of those words are generally broad. And sometimes the reason why the word was used is it actually means multiple things at the same time. And that's how the Bible comes to life. It's really powerful when you do that. And you can watch a lot of videos online on how to do those deeper studies and then follow through as you go. And your, your overall faith, your metron, will grow. Your ability to grow within your discipline and your anointing will become greater. Because one of the key things as a prophet is, is you do not speak Unless it aligns with the word of God. And if you don't know the word of God, what you receive from the Lord, you may not truly understand how to deliver it. And you'll also discern when God is not speaking, because you'll know the difference. Because a 99.9% truth is still a lie. And even the Holy Spirit recently showed me that this one instance where it was 0.1% false was actually putting people in deep deep bondage in those situations because they were accepting it, that one section, as truth, even though everything else was biblically aligned. And you don't know that unless you're immersed in the word. My recommendation is, is after you read the Bible for an entire 9 months, you get through it, my suggestion is to pick another edition. So if you start off in the NIV, go to the NLT. If you want to go to The Message Bible, it'll be a little bit easier to read if that— if you're new to the Bible. It's not a really good way to study the Bible because there's a lot of interpretation and a lot of like paraphrasing going on. But I would definitely go that direction. As you move along, you may get into the situation where you want to study the NASB, then the NET Bible, NET, the ESV. Those are excellent Bibles when it comes to being able to understand the depth and get to what I would— a traditional word-for-word translation so that you can really get into the meat of things. And so Really go into that, dive into that. That's what it means to do a deeper study. So now let's move over to point number 2, which is your prayer closet. Now, the most important thing about our life is not the works that we do. Once you're saved, ultimately God's already finished. Like, remember, that's what Jesus said on the cross— it is finished— which means there's nothing more that needs to be done. And really, at the end of the day, if we just focused on our relationship with God That would ultimately be more than enough because that's all God wants. And, and we know in Revelation when we see the Great White Throne Judgment, everything disappears anyway. Everything in heaven and in earth, the universe, gets rolled up like a scroll and disappears. So all of these things, all of our works, all of our money, our inheritance, everything— the only thing that will remain is what is eternal, and that's what's in the Father and in Christ. And those that ultimately get judged at the White Throne Judgment, which they end up in the Lake of Fire. So the key thing to understand is, is that you really do need dedicated time with the Lord on a day-to-day basis. And at the end of the day— and this may be hard for some of you at first, but this is the most important thing— you need to spend time. You need to spend time with God over your spouse. You need to spend time over your work, over your family, your children. If you have a sick elderly person, Over them. There is no situation in that I know of that I have been taught or walked through that would sacrifice that time with God. It is that important. Now, will you get to be able to read the word of God every day? Will you be in your prayer closet every single day? If something might happen, there will be situations that will interrupt you. Maybe a kid wakes up and you slept in. You got to get them to school, and you're rushing to school, and then you forget. Next thing you know, you're at work. That happens. God's got grace for you. So we're not trying to be religious about this, but what we are trying to do is to have a purposeful place where you are spending time with God and you're coming in. And what I would recommend— and I— this is something that I think that has been refined, and God will teach you how to pray to him in different seasons because it will change. You're not going to have a regimented to-do list when you walk in. But my suggestion is, is when you first go into your prayer closet, you got to ask God. What am I sacrificing? It has to represent very similar to the, the stages of how the, the old temple or the, the, um, the tent of testimony was set up. What happens is you walked through the gate. What do you do when you walk through the gate? We know that gate is Jesus Christ. We're praying from a connection with God. Don't try to search for one, you already have one. The Holy Spirit's in you. Go. If you're not saved and you're struggling to understand Reach out to God. Don't worry, he's listening. He hears you. So that's the key thing, is, is that reach out to him. The connection will be established. Boom. Pick up the phone and call him. It's just that simple. The next thing you'll see within the temple— and this is why I think this is really important to mirror this imagery in your prayer life— is the next thing is the sacrificial table where we have to sacrifice something. So I think it's important for us to know that we should be sacrificing something Before we start our prayer life with God. And what does that mean is, is that God— what you can ask him, what do you want me to sacrifice today? What do you want me to give up? What is in me that's not of you? How is something that I've held on to— what sin is in my life? What do I have to give up? And God will give you something. It may be something as simple as, today I want you to yield your heart and your emotions to me. Other times it may be, this is a rampant sin in your life and I really want you to bring it to an end. God is going to talk to you every single day differently when you're doing this. And this is so important because who are we? Because we're talking to the God of the universe. And who are we to come in and create a demand list in our prayer life? Then we don't do that. That's why whenever you follow the model that was done in the Old Testament, you'll see that there's an actual pattern here. And then you'll notice the next step is, is you get washed clean. That's the laver. So when you see that as step 3, what you start to see is, is that God Cleanses you, and now you can move forward. Now, this is not necessarily a full thing where you're, you're actually in this moment asking God to clean you of all your sins. You're just trying to give something up in order to get some peace, because remember, that's what God talks about. When you walk into his presence, you can give up your control, your sin, to him, and then he gives you peace, and you can go deeper, further into the prayer. And then at this point, there's all kinds of different styles. I love to glorify God, sing to him, praise him, and then go into a session and ask the Holy Spirit, where do I need to repent? If I have family members I have to repent of, is there things within my metron that I need to give up, up to the Lord and give him control? What can I do to further that? That's key. So that's really important. That's going to deepen you. And at that point, after that, you can get into All kinds of different aspects of prayer where you can be— your petitions, your thanksgiving, all kinds of stuff. There's other styles of prayer called Acts where you're doing adoration, you're doing all kinds of confession, thanksgiving, supplications, different styles. God will teach you a style that you're going to use in your season, and then he'll develop it from there, and obviously he will change it. I do recommend if you do have A prayer list, to type it up and put it somewhere on your phone or on a piece of paper, so that way you have a guide that you can go through. Put a bunch of Bible scriptures, declare Bible scriptures over yourself every single day. This is your opportunity to spend time with your Father and your brother and your best friend. Do it, do it well. You'll just— it will— you will not regret it. The people that spend time with God the longest, resonate more in the kingdom than anyone else. Like, this is not about a works-based kingdom. This is all about a relationship-based kingdom. And this is your time, because now as you're studying the word, you know what to pray for, and you could see the truth, and you can start to exchange the lies that you have believed for the truth of God. And it's such a powerful exchange. And he loves you, and he loves spending time with you. And this is also a time where you can just be quiet, and he'll talk to you, and you can download revelation and information and guidance for your day. You can Ask him what your assignment is. It's just beautiful. The next aspect that— of number 3 that you come into is worship. And this is so important because if you're doing this a part of your prayer, it's great. If you're doing it external, it's great. This is a time where you could be in the car, you're out for a walk, on a bike ride, at the gym, traveling to and fro, worshiping God. Now, this is something that can ebb and flow given your day and can be a lot or none depending on the situations you're in. Because if you're spending a lot of time in the Bible and in your prayer closet, you may be starting to squeeze in things. So worship can be interleaved with what this is, and then you can kind of extend it further. But this is such an important part of your life with him because ultimately this is the God of the universe. And while we need certain things in our life, and while we want certain things, this is, this is what God deserves, is worship, songs, praise. And one of the things I want to make sure is, is that if you get in a situation where you have a family member that starts to make fun of you of how you sing, you can just quietly say, I'm singing to my God, and then move on. You don't have to concede this. Now, if you're being obnoxious and you're being interruptive, that's a whole different situation. But do not allow this time to be taken away from you by other people's opinions of you during when this happens. If you love the old hymns, sing the old hymns. If you love new music, sing the new music. Don't worry about what it is. God knows what it is. He knows the posture of your heart. It's all about you giving back to him what he truly deserves. And in the end, the only thing we really can truly offer God in all of the things we do is worship. As much as we can do the works, we can be obedient to the Holy Spirit, And listen, the worship is key. That's what we see in Isaiah 6 when they're saying, holy, holy, holy. And you'll know that if you say a word 3 times in a row, that's a very big deal in ancient Hebrew. And so it really means that he is the holiest of the holies and that he deserves it. They sing nonstop. Since the spirit beings don't get tired like human beings do, it just happens nonstop. It is— year-round, 24/7, 365 worship. That's what he deserves. That's our offering back to him in addition to ourselves. And then finally, point number 4 in our 4 pillars of Christianity is leading a holy life. This ultimately is the whole point of sanctification and really the key thing that will challenge you over time. And I'm not going to trivialize this in any way, shape, or form. This is going to push you a bit. And the reason why it's going to push you is because you actually have to shed, based upon the word of God and in your prayer closet and in your worship time, the lies you believe that are true in order for you to grow closer with God. And you'll hear people talk about the closer you get to God, the more sinful you become. I don't know if that's a true statement. That feels like a general statement in the whole thing, because God's not going to draw you closer Unless you're going to be in that position to be drawn closer, and you're going to be in that state that you're in, whether you're, you're trying to work for holiness or if you're steeped in sin. That's really God's decision on how he draws people closer. I don't really like these internet memes when it comes to those things. At the end of the day, as you draw closer to God, you're drawing closer to God, and that relationship is growing, and you are praising him and you're honoring him. But leading that holy life You're going to shed layer after layer after layer of you, and you're just filling it up, being healed by the Holy Spirit, and you're becoming more like Jesus, the character of Jesus. This is key. You're going to have the heart, okay, of the Father, which is critical. You're going to have the, the eyes of the Holy Spirit to be able to see, but you're going to have the mind of Christ. That's how you know when you are operating in tense situations where situations you would maybe ordinarily sin in the past, and now you're not. Now you're growing in your faith walk. You're getting closer to God in this context where you are no longer sinning, but you're now walking closer to him. You're more aligned with his footsteps. Where he steps, you're stepping too. This is really important because the holiness that comes out of you when you're squeezed, that's who you really are. And if you're filling yourself with the word of God, with prayer, with the Holy Spirit, With worship, in those situations where you would normally sin, what will come out of you won't be you, it will be God. And that's where you start to see the fruit of the Holy Spirit. You see love, and then the, then the extensions, your gifts of the Holy Spirit come alive. And now you— people will see, wow, this is a man or a woman of God. I can go up to them and correct them when they're wrong. They will receive it in grace and move on. Like, have you ever had someone come up to you and correct you, and then you're like, thank you, that was great? Anytime you have a chance to, to say, hey, there's any type of constructive criticism, please give it to me. You don't hear that very often. People get offended, they get upset. But when you're walking a holy life, you start to realize, wow, that is more important to me to be able to get correction from others when I'm stepping out of line because God has told them to than anything else. This is so key. Because one of the things that I will tell you, that the reason you lead a holy life is that the less doors the devil can use to attack you and your family, your finances, your possessions, your work, your school, and so on. So the tighter and tighter you get in the sense of where you step and where Jesus steps, that's going to give you opportunity to be in the best position so that when you do face a storm— because you will, you'll face some storms, you'll get sifted. You'll go through some pretty difficult situations. You'll be in the valley of the shadow of death. You will be able to cling to Jesus and each day pursue, just take one step further. That's all you can do that day, but you will continue to move through because you know you're standing on the promises of God. And ultimately, those are the 4 pillars of Christianity. I hope this video blesses you because this is the key thing to understand, is that if you're going to grow in your prophetic anointing— and this applies for anything. But if you're going to grow in your prophetic anointing, these things are absolutely critical because you base all of your actions on the things that God has revealed to you, the knowledge and wisdom, in order to move forward. And those around you will recognize, okay, this person has spent time with God because of how he or she acts in these situations. And ultimately, that's how God will continue to entrust you further Your ministry with him will grow, and you'll be blessed, and everyone around you will be blessed. I hope this message was great. As I said before, please subscribe and share this video with others so we can continue to spread the gospel throughout the world. God bless everyone.
