Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead in John 11:43, showing the Holy Spirit's power beyond the three-day limit people believed. The speaker knows people who have witnessed resurrections and urges you to trust Jesus, because belief makes raising the dead possible.
John chapter 11, verse 43. When he had said this, Jesus called out in a loud voice, Lazarus, come out! I have to admit that I have yet to experience a resurrection firsthand, although there are some that I know who have. What's more powerful than conquering death and raising someone who has left this world back to full life? That's the power of the Holy Spirit that was surging through Jesus, that even the dead could come back to life. One of the key things to understand is, is whenever you see the gospel work, people thought that once you died, there was no hope. And in fact, remember, Lazarus was raised on the 4th day after tradition said that was impossible because only 3 days could a person come back to life. But Jesus was showing that even tradition was false and that you have to believe in him. And when you start to do that, even raising the dead is a possibility. God bless.
