Got some more Bible myths for you. There are some cessationists in today that believe that miraculous powers such as prophecy, gifts of healing, things as you saw in the Old Testament, or the things you would have saw in the first century church, that have completely come to an end. They believe that all of those things died out with the first apostles because those gifts are no longer needed, and they'll cite different verses from 1 Corinthians and others. But the reality is, is all of those gifts are still active and enforced today in the church because God doesn't change. What God said is that at the fullness of time Those things will come to an end because they're no longer needed, because all things will be made known. So whenever you come up with an understanding that, hey, I don't— I want to limit God, well, at the end of the day, when you limit God, that's the boundaries he'll operate in. But when you have an unlimited mind, guess what? You'll get an unlimited God.
