Break the Cycle of Your TORMENTED Mind

John Humenik teaches how to break free from a tormented mind rooted in sin, strongholds, and generational curses. He shares his own healing through Christian therapy and spiritual warfare, offering biblical promises of peace and practical steps like daily prayer, speaking Scripture, and binding demonic spirits using the authority believers have in Matthew 18:18-20.

Make sure to take all of these items and scriptures Back to your prayer closet for Jesus to minister to you in this season. Ask yourself this question: do you suffer from tormenting thoughts? Are you caught in a cycle of anxiety, depression, heaviness, maybe even thoughts about ending it all? How about a lack of peace, fear that doesn't go away, or even anger or bitterness? Or rage. These are all aspects of a tormented mind, and we're going to talk about the sources of those and actually how to get rid of them and stay away forever. One of the things about my testimony is, is that I have suffered from time to time from a tormented mind. But what happens is, is the torment can sometimes become normal, and you don't even realize that this is actually a state that you're not supposed to be in. And so we're gonna talk about what that means and how that will relate specifically to you. And so a tormented mind has and is sourced in many roots. And a root is either a sin, a stronghold, which is a lie that you believe, or some other situation like a generational curse, maybe a situation at work, a physical situation. Maybe you live in a city that isn't safe or in a country that's not safe. There's so many different things that becomes undergirded and then lifts up this problem and it pushes it to the surface. And therefore it becomes a thing that you now have to endure and then ultimately have to deal with it. You'll know that people are caught in this situation because they feel like they're stuck in their own body, unable to interact with this world. It becomes their world and they can't escape it. Because this becomes their new reality. This is what a tormented mind does to a person. It becomes a cage that they cannot leave. They carry it everywhere, wherever they go, whether they're sleeping at night and dealing with night terrors, when they're up and overthinking about the things for the day. Maybe they're worrying about work, things they can't handle, about their kids and their school situations. Maybe there's trouble at school and their kids can't get away from it. It can become a problem that can dramatically It can really affect a parent or even a child if you're going to school and you're constantly being bullied or you're not able to get out of those situations where you're like, wow, this is constantly being pressured. It can even apply to sports. Parents could be pushing their kids, trying to live vicariously through their children, trying to be able to allow them to have a better life or even pay for college. There's so many different situations that can occur. You could deal with torment in mind even from a church. You know, a lot of people suffer from church hurt. So there's many situations, many forms that torment can take on. And what happens is, is it becomes this, you know, this reality in this situation, and it changes the way you think. It actually reprograms your mind because you can no longer trust people. There's no hope. Hope for tomorrow. There's no faith. There's no capability to interact and maintain a relationship. It can really become something that can destroy everything that you've wanted in your life because it will literally erode away. It kind of is like it's just basically just continues to eat away at the very essence of who you are. It can even affect your physical being. It can cause a person to gain weight because they're overeating and constantly trying to compensate with food or snacks or desserts. You can even be the exact opposite and then be stuck with losing it because you lose your appetite and you no longer really enjoy food, and your meal size gets smaller and smaller to the point where you can't get the nutrition that your body needs. Torment can cause your hair to fall out. Torment can cause you to just really get to unhealthy levels where stress and these things can just ruin your physical capabilities to operate in this world. The things that torment can continue to do is it will allow— torment allows situations with your parents or your children to become exacerbated. Problems that would otherwise be normally handled and worked through can't be addressed because you're constantly on guard. You're constantly dealing with, like, how are they going to be able to react to me? Can I walk up to them and have a conversation? What are they going to say? Are they going to then overreact when I make a statement. You'll see this even sourced in— you'll see a tormented mind source. He's like, you can make a statement like, hey, you look really nice today, and then they turn around and say, well, I didn't look nice yesterday. Those are things that you get caught up in these torments. Believe it or not, these are the things that people get in a cycle with because they can't receive anything. They can't receive love. They can't receive compassion. They can't receive joy or peace. And all of these things— compliments, anything that would necessarily be constituted as something good, something from God— it becomes something that they just deflect. They even can't receive help. That's where it starts to get harder, because when someone tries to help them, maybe bring them a meal, maybe give them some extra money, they become prideful and they start to become standoffish. They're like, no, I can work through this. I don't need your money. I don't need your help. I don't need your kind words. And they start to basically block people off and start to wall them and create these structures, these mental structures that basically prevent them from receiving anything that's good. Another aspect of torment which many people don't recognize, but I'm going to reveal it today, is it's sourced in the sins of the past. And you know what, I will have to say this, it may not necessarily even be your sin. That's the thing that torment can really become a major league problem. I'm going to give you a quick testimony. I'm going to kind deviate here because of how powerful torment can negatively affect your life when it is actually not your sin. So I have been through situations where I have been able to see a therapist, and in those conversations, a Christian therapist uses— I'm sorry, a Christian therapist doesn't use, works with the Holy Spirit. And what happens is it becomes a partnership to reveal the truth that you are dealing with, whether it's lies that you believe, maybe it's active sin in your life that you may not even realize it's happening, or could be something in the past. And one of the sessions that I went through, which was so liberating— and it is something that I highly recommend. There is nothing wrong with Christian therapy done with the Holy Spirit. It is one of the most powerful ways to do inner healing, if not the most powerful way to do true inner healing on the earth. And it sets you free at a level that you never thought you could operate, because you think you're at your— you're at the ceiling, and you're really still on the foundation. You're on the ground floor. And one of the things that I learned through this process is I had an ancestor, and it felt ancient, someone that was thousands of years ago that started this generational curse that then carried on. Because generational curses are only allowed by the law, by the— what God had ordained to be 4 generations. That's how it works. But if any one of those people continue in those sins, it's just going to continue to roll down until someone rises up. And ends it. And so what happened was is there was this one very, very evil ancestor of mine that did unspeakable things. The Lord opened my eyes, and what that human being did— what he was basically— what the basically the vision that God gave me and the sins that they committed was it was almost like there was a person like a pirate where he was able to go on the ships And then make landfall and just start to do things that are just unspeakable that I won't even repeat. But what happened was, is that it wouldn't— it wasn't like he was a warrior that was destroying villages, but he was destroying women and children. And the things that he did, the sins that he committed, were so egregious that it became a stain on my family's life for thousands of years. And what happened was, is And we'll talk about this here soon, how to smash all these things. But you have to repent for their sins. And when you repent and you take a posture of forgiveness, you forgive them for their sins, you forgive them for their mistakes, you ask God to forgive them. What happens is it starts to set you free. But if you don't know those things are happening in your life, torment can be sourced in so many aspects of this world and will weigh you down in a way that you never thought possible. It's like, think about it from the perspective of You're carrying weights in a coat, and you don't recognize there's weights. And the next day, there's another pound in there. It's subtle, and you don't notice it. And the next day, there's another pound and another pound. Before you realize it, your body starts to adapt to it. It gets kind of stronger, but in a more of a resistant kind of way. And next thing you know, you're carrying 20, 30, 40 pounds around. And then when you finally take the coat off, you're like, "Whoa! This weight is gone." That's what torment is like when you're able to be set free from torment. Those are the things that. Separate people from being caught in that cycle till they're dead to the people that are set free. And we're going to talk about how to be set free here shortly, but I want to cover a couple more areas on torment so that we can kind of set the stage properly for what it really means, so that you can recognize as many of the things that God wants you to see in your life and set you free. Now, the generational curse— for those who are like, oh, I don't really believe in them— let's hop over to Deuteronomy chapter 5 Verses nine through ten, and the scripture talks about this: You shall not bow down to them or worship them, meaning idols. And for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. Now I'm sure you know you're probably thinking well that's the Mosaic law that doesn't apply. To me anymore. Well, that is technically true to a degree, but you also have to understand is that the order is still the order. And so as Christ has redeemed us on the cross, sin can still perpetrate throughout generations. And I'm speaking from experience. I'm just saying from experience because my experience confirms the Bible. I am a part of freedom teams and work with freedom teams and deliverance teams and intercessory prayer teams and altar teams. And I can assure you, This is a real thing that while you may believe, oh, we're covered under the New Covenant, and yes, there's so much aspects that are part of it, but these sins permeate because of these things that God ordained. And this is how Satan attacks you through these open doors that are in your life. And the reality is, is that many people that don't believe this are caught in that for their entire life. And when you start to recognize how God's word operates, his word is not And so that's what you start to see is even in this scripture, you see God says, if you love me, I'm going to watch over 1,000 generations. And I just want to let you know, if you count the generations in the history of the world, guess what? There hasn't even been, I think, 100 yet. So when he says 1,000 generations and we know we're in the end times, the reality is, is they're not going to be another— most likely not going to be another 900 generations after that. Yeah. And so what does that mean? So God is making a statement that if you love him, I will take care of your generations forever. That's really the truth that's in this. But he also says, look, there is some punishment that occurs, and it just— that's just the way the spiritual world operates. And so this is the key thing to understand, because torment is the evil ones' specialty. That's the reality. Much of the torment that's caused in your life and in my life is caused because of the evil one. It's not because of your choices. It's not because of the mistakes of your ancestors. It's not because of the boss you may not get along with or the teacher that you don't like. It comes from evil spirits that are caused and assigned to cause and sow chaos in your life. And we're going to talk a little bit later on how to deal with them. But what we want to talk about are time and places where they will operate and how they'll attack you. So one of the first ways that the demonic will work against you is when you are at your weakest point, which is when you sleep, because you can't defend yourself. And you'll see people talk about night terrors, night paralysis. You know, you get up and you have vain imaginations and thoughts that won't run away. Maybe you're trying to do something for work and you just keep thinking about how I'm going to present it, or how I'm going to do that, how am I going to solve that problem? All of those things at night is when the demonic activity spikes and just goes bonkers and can come against you. And especially when you sleep, because you really— in many cases, depending on where you're at in your sleep cycle, if you're in your core sleep versus your REM sleep, you're really beholden to the areas of your mind in which you can't control your subconscious and your conscious. This is really a space where God really needs to protect you, because truly You are defenseless in every way, shape, or form. You'll see this in other areas. Maybe you're working and you just have a thought that comes into your mind that doesn't leave, and you just try to say, "Oh, I just want to focus on this," and it doesn't stop, and then all of a sudden turns into a rabbit hole. And now you're thinking about it, analyzing it, looking at every situation and angle and purpose, and you're like, "Man, you're creating this like master project plan of like." how I can execute and do these things. And it was just like what coffee you wanted to order at Starbucks. Like, it's not that complicated, but that's what happens. The devil will get you to overthink a situation to distract you from what you need to do and trap you in your own mind. What happens then is you get no inner peace. You get to a position where you just have nothing peaceful on the inside. There's nothing peaceful on the outside— your relationships, your work, All of these things bubble up and bubble out, and it's like you're a boiling cauldron, like a volcano that's just exploding and spewing lava and burning everything where you go. It just becomes this terrible situation where tormenting thoughts continue to get in the way of your life. Another area that actually is very subtle in how the evil one works, and it's only something I even recognized very recently, is you'll start to see People randomly attacking each other, yelling, fighting, screaming, disagreeing, becoming prideful and arguing and just being spiteful out of nowhere. And then 10 minutes later, it's like it didn't happen. This is where you start to see the evil one moving very subtly in the situation, because what happens is— and I will, I will tell you this— is you'll hear another voice as you're talking, and that voice will speak things and you'll come into agreement with it and it'll just follow along. And so all of a sudden you get into an argument and the next thing you know, you're like, you'll make, you'll make this comment about your wife's weight or you'll make this comment about how your husband is overworking and doesn't pay attention to you. And you'll hear the voice and then you'll say it. Actually, it's almost like a movie or an audio playing that's occurring as you're talking. And then what it does is it just guides you You know, basically veers you off. And that's what happens is what happens is you get veered off. This sin is committed, and then everything goes back to normal as if it didn't happen. That's an evil spirit that has entered into your your presence and is speaking into the situation to get you to sin. This is becoming this becomes a platform that can completely ruin relationships. You can destroy a marriage before a marriage starts. It could—you could be in the dating phase, you could be in an engagement phase, and torment can destroy your relationship before it gets started. It can destroy a marriage after it gets started. I've seen it happen. I've seen so many marriages fail over and over again. The divorce rate in the United States is just sickening, and it because what happens is is people want what they want, and they become caught in this cycle, and. Whether it's the husband or the wife or the kids that cause the problem or work, whatever, the pressures of the life just bubble up and bubble out and destroy all the things and all the time that they worked. I've even seen this destroy friendships. Imagine a situation where you've had a friend for decades or years, and then you have one blowup, one tormenting situation, and next thing you know, you hold it against them. There's so much unforgiveness. You're offended, and that relationship is destroyed or irreparable. It's unable to be repaired. Sorry, I can't. I can't find the word. And so, what you have is these relationships that should be addressed and should be moved on, and yet it completely undermines them. That's what torment does. It can ruin children at a young age because what happens is is that their life becomes so much. Like this that they don't understand how to live a normal life. This is where the devil wants to plant torment, is in children at a young age. Because if they grow up thinking that it's normal, then guess what? They can't overcome it because they never even recognize it. I can't tell you how many people I've seen go to the grave over this. This is unbelievable, because when you see people dying at a young age— and when I'm talking about a young age, I'm talking like 20s, And the reality is, is people hear me right now, that 60 is technically middle-aged in the kingdom of God. Okay, middle age is not 30 and 40. Don't listen to the world. God built these bodies to live to 120 years. And actually, there was one person that lived to 130 after God set that in place. Listen to me, people aren't supposed to be stressed out or living in a situation where they have cancer and heart disease and all these things killing them at a young age. Because of torment, and that's what the devil does is is that he constantly puts this in the children. And so what happens is they grow up and they think it's normal, and next thing you know, their life is over. Torment can destroy a parent's ability to take care of their children because they can't manage it. Maybe you fear for their safety all the time. Maybe you're dealing with like you live in an unsafe area. Maybe you're in a part of a city that isn't safe. Maybe you're in a country that maybe potentially at war. Maybe You know, I have a lot of people who watch my videos that are in these war-torn countries. I see the demographics, I know where they are at, and my heart goes out to them. My prayers go out to them because they are literally living in fear because the next day a bomb could be dropped on their home and they could be killed. That is the danger that they are in, and that torment becomes so overwhelming. But really what happens is now that ultimately where torment is truly sourced And I'm going to set the stage and then we're going to go into it—is you don't believe the word of God. You don't, where you don't understand the scriptures and the promises and the blessings that God has for you. Look at Psalm 91. Take that back. Write it in the comments. Psalm 91. Go and read that. If you are tormented when you read that verse, if that doesn't start to shake the shackles off your mind. Then you need to dive deeper and understand the roots of the problems, because God promises physical, spiritual safety to his children and to their children. You should understand that when you read Psalm 91, it is a promise of epic proportions. It talks about being in war-torn situations where thousands are falling at your side. 10,000 at your right side, yet it will not come near you. That the arrow that flies cannot pierce you. That all of these situations, that all of the hurt, all of the pain is not going to affect you. That's what Psalm 91 is. And when you understand the word of God and you protect yourself with the word of God, guess what? You can disarm any torment that comes against you. By the word of God. There is not a single weapon, whether it's a physical issue, a spiritual issue, that cannot be destroyed by the word of God. That is how powerful God's Bible is. This is why people want to try to disown it and say it's there, or put some pseudoscience or some specialty science on top of it. Because what they're trying to do— and or even worst case, they try to medicate it— where they're trying to put these things in place to replace the solution. Because remember, everything that isn't the Word of God ultimately is a Band-Aid. It's not going to fix it. All it is is just going to cover the problem to make you feel good. But ultimately, that wound will fester for a long period of time. So how do we start disarming these tormenting thoughts However they're sourced, and what do we do? So let's dive into the word because that's where the answers are. And I've got a bunch of scriptures. So the first one, if you're taking notes, is going to be John chapter 14, verse 27. This is a powerful one because this comes from Jesus. Okay, when we read a lot of the scriptures on peace and all the different things about it, because peace rips out torment and replaces it in a state of mind that's unshakable. You start to realize, oh, these are really powerful, but this one came from the Lord's mouth directly, not from anyone else. This is from Jesus's mouth. And listen to the promise he gives you: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, And do not be afraid. This is really powerful because what you have to understand is, is you've got to be able to receive it. That's the first statement, is Jesus is leaving peace to you. You have to think about peace in the context of the fruit of the Spirit. And we put together a beautiful livestream about peace. But what I want you to understand is, is that peace is your portion. Say it out loud with me. Peace is my portion, your portion. It's very important because peace is a gift from God. It's a fruit. It's something you can consume. It's something you can ingest spiritually, physically, because that is a part of who God wants you to be, is to have peace of mind. And when you take Jesus's peace inside to you, what happens is you discard how the world describes peace, because the world describes peace in so many bad ways. But what it does is it blows up the troubling things that are bothering your heart, which is your emotions and your mental state. And what it does is it starts and eliminates fear. It says, don't be afraid, because you no longer have to fear these situations because you have God's peace. He will protect you. You have to understand, think about it from the scriptural perspective. Look at some of the great faithful people in the history of the world. Look at Lot as an example. He was in one of, if not the most evil cities in the history of the world, Sodom and Gomorrah. So much so that God had to blow it up literally with basically either a volcanic explosion or some form of like meteorite. Like it's really ultimately is just fire from heaven. Okay. Now think about it. It was that bad. Now, there was some aspects there when you read in the scriptures in the New Testament that there was what's called strange flesh, which probably meant that there was association similar to what occurred prior to the flood, which then caused the Nephilim, which was the intermarriage between humans and fallen angels. And that is most likely what was occurring in Sodom and Gomorrah. So God had to wipe it out. He wiped it out, but yet Lot was there. He was the only righteous person there, and yet in spite of all of the destruction that occurred, God kept him safe. God kept his wife safe until she turned around and became a pillar of salt, and he kept his daughters safe even though their fiancés stayed behind and died. And so, and through that, 2 great nations came with through Lot and then grew up, and ultimately God destroyed them because of their sin. But God's faithfulness, even in that situation with all of that evil and all of that darkness. And I can assure you that no matter how bad your situation is in this day and age, I can assure you, if God had to destroy a city like that, that, that was a really bad situation. Because reality is, is if I remember correctly, he really didn't do that that pronounced afterwards. We still have, you know, situations like Pompeii and other ones that got wiped out. But biblically speaking, we— God didn't really do that again in the Bible. And so he will protect you. That's the key thing, is God is your protector, and the devil will try to trick you and think you're not safe. Torment comes from a posture of lack of safety, and that becomes a problem for people. But Jesus is saying, no, take my peace, and when I give it to you, it's going to transform everything that you have. We also have to let peace rule our hearts because peace again is anchoring. It is the antithesis of torment because when you're at peace, torment can't come. They can't coexist in the same place. And so we look at Colossians chapter 3, verses 15, and it says, for whoever would love life— oh, I'm sorry— let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. That's Colossians chapter three verses fifteen. And so what what it's saying is is that you want peace to have a position of authority in your life. Think about that statement when you decide to eat from the plate of peace, that fruit that God sets aside for you every single day throughout the day because that's your portion. Think of it's a meal. It's a meal that you can have anytime you want because it's always. In front of you. That's what God means when he has the fruit of the Spirit. It's there for you, just receive it. And when you put it above the torment, when you choose that I'm going to choose God's peace, let it become the ruling aspect in your heart. What happens is, is that you allow it to drive everything out that isn't peaceful. And I want to talk about— and be thankful, because remember, that closes out the verse. Hold on to that thought because we're going to talk about thankfulness here shortly and the role it plays in peace, which just drives out all forms of torment. The other aspect comes from 1 Peter chapter 3, verses 10 through 11. I really want to make sure you understand the context of this because My notes here talk about that you have to search for it. This is important because there are times when peace will find you because you're in your prayer closet and you're doing your part, laying in on that sacrificial altar all the worry you have before God, and then you're going to receive it. Very, very powerful. It's Philippians. But Peter talks about that you have to search it out. You actually have to, with intention, Look for peace, and that's important. And I know that that will resonate with some people here because when you search for peace, you're going to look for things that don't include confrontation. You're not going to look for trouble. You're not going to do the things the Spirit doesn't want you to do because you're going to search it out. So first Peter chapter three verses ten through eleven says again, for whoever would love life. And see good days. Ooh, that's a really—that's a really way and powerful way to start it. I'm going to repeat that before we continue. For whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. Gossipers gotta stop. They must turn from evil and do good. They must seek. Peace and pursue it. I'm going to read this again because I think it's very powerful. For whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good. They must seek peace and pursue it. I want to make sure you understand a couple things when you look at the Bible. There's ways to read the Bible, but when you're studying the Bible, I'm going to give you a little secret. The way to study the Bible is the order of the words that are in place. The Holy Spirit does every single thing with intentionality. He is the inspired author of the Bible. And so whatever— so what you're seeing is, is you're seeing an order in which you have to operate. You have to start by loving life. And that's an important thing because you have to love your life. You have to love others. You have to love the— you have to love God. You have to love these things. It starts with love, and then in order to see good days, okay? So that's the next thing is in order to see a good day, you got to stop. Watch your mouth. Watch what you say. Quit back talking. Quit reacting. Remember it. Remember what Proverbs says: Those who are wise are slow to speak, and they withhold their tongue. Okay? Because we know the power of life and death is in the tongue, and so. Stop lying, stop gossiping, stop just burning down forests. I mean, James talks about being able to tame the tongue. It's impossible. It's like a fire that burns down forests. And so deceitful speech, any form of half-truths, 99.9% truth, it all starts there. You've got to stop. You've got to stop because it starts and stops with the tongue. And then when you have done that, so you've done love and you want to see good days and you've stopped your— you've you've got some form of a handle on your mouth, then what it says is you then got to turn away from evil. You got to turn away from the sins. You gotta fear God. If you are still sinning, it's because you don't fear God. When you understand the power of the Almighty, it will absolutely put you in a reverential state of fear that will— you will never come out of for the rest of your life. And that's perfectly fine because you have to understand his power. You have to understand his mercy, his grace, and the things that he can do there that even When Satan fell from heaven, he knew he could not dethrone God. He said, all I can do is become like the Most High, not replace him. Even Satan knew he didn't have the authority and power to take away God from his throne. And so when you truly understand that, you will turn away from your sin because you're going to want to love God more than your sin. Ultimately, that's the essence. That's how you break the recurring sin, the sin that so easily ensnares you. Is you have to have the fear of the Lord, because even Proverbs opens up with that: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And so we have that aspect. You got to turn away from evil. So now we're setting the stage. Now you must start to do good. When you've now postured yourself into this place where you've no longer turned, you've turned away from evil, you're doing good, you're no longer doing the things you're not supposed to be doing. Now you're at a posture where you now can go out and seek peace and chase it down, because what you've done is you've cleaned your life of the garbage that the world wants to put on you— the junk, the muck, the mud, all the things that just make— that just want to try to filth you up and just get you dirty, whether it's— it was intentional for you to do it or not. But once you do these things, you're loving your life, you're focusing on the good times, and you know that those are coming in front of you. The promises of God are true. You control your tongue, turn away from sin, and you chase righteousness. Guess what? Peace becomes your portion. That's part of what happens, is people start to understand, well, how can I not end my torment? Because you're not reading the Bible and studying it and understanding the steps you have to follow in order to receive it, or in this case chase it, because you can't receive it unless you do these things. If you have no love in your life, how can you have peace? Peace is a fruit of the Spirit. But guess what? We all know that all the fruit of the Spirit branch off of love, and if you don't have love, you have nothing. And even Paul talks about that, you know. You're— even if you could prophesy and do miraculous things, if you have no love, it doesn't matter. You can even sacrifice your body to the fire, he says, and if you have no love, it's irrelevant. So it all starts with love. You've got to anchor yourself in love and move forward. And when you search out peace, you can find it. So now the next thing is, is we're going to talk about peace in your sleep, because I know people get tormented at night, and I know you're struggling with issues. And what you have to do is you have to pray the scriptures over yourself. You have to hold fast. And here's the one I want you to pray over yourself if you're struggling with any form of torment, is Psalms chapter 4, verses 8. It says, in peace— not in your bed— in peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. What a powerful statement, because it's making a statement and proclaiming God is the only one that's capable of keeping you safe. Okay, remember, this is not something where you go and you're praying to the angels, you're praying to Mary. That's all heresy. That's all idol worship. There is nowhere in the Bible that it says to do those things, because it's all the Lord alone that can do those things. And if you think that if they're an extension of the church and you can commune with them, still, that's idol worship. Doesn't count. You have to trust God. God alone. Is the one who protects you. That's all you need. He's the one that you will allow you to lie down in safety. He's the one that puts you in a bed of peace where you can be still and you dwell in safety. It says for you alone, Lord, not the Lord and so on and so forth. No, God alone can make sure your sleep is safe, your sleep is peaceful, that you don't have to wake up at three o'clock in the morning anymore. You don't have to wake up. to go to the bathroom 25 times. You don't have to wake up because your spouse is snoring. You don't have to wake up because the kids are out grabbing a midnight snack when they're not supposed to. You can sleep through all of that stuff because peace is your portion. Okay, remember, that's an important part. Write it in the comments: peace is your portion, because that's what God does. And so when we want to close out this section, is what we're really talking about in conclusion is peace comes in abundance. It's not a small thing. It's not the mustard seed of peace. Jude chapter 1, verses 2 talks about this as mercy, peace, and love— those 3 things be yours in abundance. Wow, what a powerful statement, because peace is supposed to be in abundance. Torment wants to take over your life, but guess what? When you have peace and abundance, torment has no foothold There's no crack in the wall. There's nothing. There's no entranceway, nothing that can come in and shift you off of that stance of peace because you have it in abundance. You have love in abundance and you have God's mercy in abundance because we all need it, because we all sin when we don't realize it, and God covers us by his grace and his mercy. So I just want you to receive that because it's so important to understand That ultimately, that peace guards your mind, that becomes a shield that protects you. So number 2 in this walk that we're going to cover is gratitude shifts the atmosphere. That's number 2. When you start to understand how gratitude works, and scientifically speaking, science has proven this, that you cannot have Anxiety and gratitude at the same time. It is literally physically impossible. They ran tests on it. When you have anxious thoughts and you're being tormented by anxious thoughts, what happens is there's a part of your brain that's active and just kind of goes and just goes. And a lot of times those things are meant to be survival mechanisms or self-defense to kind of keep you alive. And a lot of them done in the right situation are good. They're healthy because they're trying to get you in a state where you can— a heightened state of awareness so that you can react correctly and get out and get into a place of rest. But when you get caught in that cycle and it doesn't end, now all of a sudden you have to shift your thinking. And when you move into a state of gratitude, what happens is the anxiety part of your brain turns off. And the gratitude part turns on. But it's really— what you have to understand is, is the gratitude part has to be towards God, because that's where all your gratitude needs to go, because he is the Father of Lights and everything comes from his throne that's good. And so when you shift your praise into worship, into gratitude, and you're thanking him and thanksgiving, and you're raising up petitions Guess what? The anxious part of your mind, no matter how hyperactive it is, turns off. It's an off switch, and the other part of your brain turns on. And so what happens now is you can't be anxious anymore. It doesn't matter what's going on in your life because guess what? God has allowed the gratitude to flow. And where do we see this? We see this in the gold standard of peace. We see this in the one of the most famous Bible verses in all the Bible. Philippians chapter 4, verses 6 through 7. It says, do not be anxious about anything. Okay, that's literally an all-encompassing statement. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, Will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Wow! Peace is a guardian. That's your portion. Your portion is peace, and you get that when you go through and start. Remember the Bible. When you're studying the Bible, order matters. So what does it mean? Start off with anxiety and stop, and then every situation, which means all the time, you got to be by prayer and petition. You're praying to God. Remember, this is unceasing prayer. And so what you're saying is, is I'm going to constantly praise God. Thank you, God, for the food that's on my table. Thank you for my carpet that looks great. Thank you for my computer that keeps working. Thank you for my phone that turns on. Thank you for all of these things. Thank you for my water that I have. Thank you for everything. And you're giving up these thanksgivings, and they are— they're— you're presenting these requests to God, and you're giving them, and you're praising him, and you're giving him That just do. Because you got to remember, God owns everything. We're just stewards. Everything we have, we're just a steward. We're renters because he's the manager. At most, we may have oversight and capability. We do have authority, power, and dominion. But technically, none of this stuff is ours. We're not even ours ourselves, and we belong to him. And so when we understand and we present all of that back to him, as we just say thank you, Thank you, Jesus, for dying on a cross. Thank you, Lord, for sending your Son to die in my place. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for living in me and just dealing with all the years of sin and all the times that I hurt you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Which happens— what happens is God returns the peace that passes all understanding, that transcends anyone's capability to understand, and you get this solid foundation of peace that becomes your portion. It's your portion. And now the tormenting thoughts that try to get a foothold, they're like, what? We can't stand on peace. Okay, what stands on peace? Joy. What stands on joy? Love. Tormenting thoughts don't have a place for it because you're like, wow, this person is so peaceful. There's no place for me to torment them because their hearts and their minds, okay, are guarded by peace in Christ Jesus. It's so powerful. I'm going to continue on in that same chapter, Philippians 4. There's 2 more verses I'm going to load up with you, and we're going to keep going. Is in verses 11 through 12, it says, I am not saying this because I'm in need, for I have learned to be content in whatever the circumstance. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to be plenty, to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in every and any situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. This is really powerful because having a peaceful thought and process requires to be content. This is important. Now, I want to balance what I'm about to say with the need of God. To push forward, and this is a difference. So if you're driven by God, that's not you not being content; that's just you moving from season to season, glory to glory, faith to faith, where we're always moving forward. We're not going backwards. Anyone in a static state technically is moving backwards. That's kind of how it works. We're not talking about that because that's godly driven. That's godly grace, godly blessed. What we're talking about is is that you're content when you're content in your situation. You have an appreciation for what you have in that moment and in that time because Paul talked about this. He goes, "Look, if I'm content when I need everything, I know my Father is going to provide it for me. If I'm content when I have everything," Great. I'm also not striving for more. Okay, where you get caught on the this success wheel that doesn't end because you're trying to outdo others or continue to do better from the previous quarter if you're in finances, whatever. What it does is peace is saying it's rooted in it is in contentment. It is being satisfied with what you have, but understanding. That what God is going to give you and God's calling you, that you press forward as he sees fit. It's so powerful. Now Thessalonians takes it to the next level. Thessalonians— sorry, Thessalonians chapter 5, verses 16 through 18. And it has 2 of the shortest verses in the Bible. It starts off with rejoice always and pray continually, right? Again, the order: rejoicing and praying. And guess what? Don't stop. It says always rejoice, always pray, give thanks in all circumstances. Okay, remember, giving thanks in all circumstances. So we have 3 all statements: rejoicing, praying, and thanks. For this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Thessalonians is setting the stage for the order in which you're supposed to operate. In order to be content, in order for peace to happen, you must be in a state of worship. You must be in a state of prayer. You must be in a state of giving thanks because you know what your Father of Lights, your Father in Heaven, is blessing you. This is what he's saying. This is your portion. As he's saying, this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. And it's so important that as you go through life, if you are suffering through any form of torment— and remember we're going to talk about some of the aspects of how they have the evil spirits operate. So we're going to hit that pretty hard here soon, okay? Because remember, the torment I'm talking about, at least in this section, is primarily driven by you in the situations, whether it's your sin or something else. We're going to hit the heavy side when it's not you. But what we're saying is, is that even in those moments when the torment comes from elsewhere Rejoicing, prayer, giving thanks. We've seen, I've seen and heard so many stories, and know, and just have either through either first witness or second witness has seen that when you're in this state, you just can't be touched by the evil one. It just can't. It doesn't happen. Torment has to flee. And even if it's something that will try to reroot itself later, you can always go back to this verse, this powerful, these three verses. Rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks, because that is what roots peace. Is rooted. It digs itself deep. It builds pillars into the ground, concrete pillars where it just establishes a foundation that if you take that going forward, it will transform your life in a way that you just never understood. This is so important. Is all of our teachings in the identity of Christ, the four pillars, the four pillars are rooted in these. You got to know the word of God. You got to get it in them, in you. You gotta, you got to lead a holy life. You've got to pray and you've got to worship. You do those things, I can guarantee you that the promises of God will not only transpire and become real, but you will live a life that will just shine so bright to glorify God. It will just transform everyone that's around you. So let's head over to Psalm chapter 107, a little bit higher up, verses 1 through 3. It starts with, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. Those he redeemed from the land of the foe, those he gathered from the lands from the east and the west and the north and the south. What a powerful statement! It talks about the importance of giving thanks to God because he's good. You've probably heard of the one song that is really—I think it came out—I think about three or four months ago. that talks about God's goodness. He's not good because of our praise and because of our thanksgiving. He just is good. And when you understand that, you want to give thanks to him. When you understand that, you'll recognize that his love endures forever, that it never fails. Love cannot fail because God does not know how to lose. He's been victorious from All of time. We just haven't received all of the victory yet. We're just receiving in a portion. When you recognize that you have the victory in Christ, you will just turn your face towards God and praise him and thank him and love him because he is good. He is good all the time. When we don't understand what's going on, he's still good. When we don't understand or cannot see the ending from the beginning, We know that he is good. When we're on that faith walk and we're trusting him and saying, we're not going to believe what our eyes and ears can see or hear, we're going to believe and stand on the scriptures because he is good. You can give thanks. And guess what? Torment cannot have a foothold in that situation. It's not possible because you're not looking at what you are seeing and experiencing in this world. You're just not. What you're seeing and experiencing is what God has for you. Sorry, I'm losing my voice here. And so it's so important to receive this powerful revelation because it continues. It continues to Psalm 103. Verses two through five, and listen to this: The power of the scriptures is just incredible. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits. Who forgives your sins and heals your diseases? Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion? Who satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Wow! Wow! So we've talked about how torment can cause sickness, can cause disease, can cause all these things. It can suppress your immune system and expose you. To further harm. But yet, look at what this says. God is the one who forgives your sins and then heals you of your diseases. He'll redeem your life because you're praising him. You're not forgetting the benefits. You're not forgetting about the promises that he has for you and all the things that he satisfies the desires with good things. Because your youth will be renewed. Think about this. Look at the story of Caleb in the Book of Judges. Caleb is 85 years young. 85 years. Has to go and take the mountain of Judah to— in order for his tribe to inherit the space that they had. So what does he do? He goes and takes it. 85 years old. Who knew? Who knows how many youthful warriors were sitting up in a position of authority and power on top of that mountain? An 85-year-old man comes running up the hill with his tribe to take it, and they do. Think about that. How many 85-year-old men do you know that would run up a mountain fully exposed to take probably a citadel or a castle or some sort of— some form of fortification and do it successfully. But this is what this scripture is saying, that God will renew the years of your life like the eagle as it soars. And so therefore, he is the one that has the power to redeem your lost years. He is the one that has the power to fix the history and rewrite it in a way that not only is it forgotten, But you can move forward knowing that you are a new creation in Christ. That is the power of Psalm 103. You've got to be able to receive it, because when you start to receive these powerful verses, torment cannot have a foothold in your life. And so the last section I'm going to talk about is really going to be centered around spiritual warfare and breaking off the spirit of heaviness. So I'm going to start this section off again with a very, very clear statement. These next verses and the way that I talk about them, I want to be super duper clear. Make sure that you are Spirit-led in the way you operate, because depending on where you're at, the sin that's in your life, the faith level, the word that's in you, okay, you may not be able to do all the things I'm about to say. So again, this is as much as a warning as it is an understanding. Just lean on the Holy Spirit in your life. You must take these things back in prayer to understand where you are at in your walk with God in order to operate. But remember, these are still the promises of God, and so you can cling to them and hold on to them in your own way. But the reality is, is that what I'm about to say is spiritual warfare, and at the end of the day When you start to understand you have a real enemy who's trying to destroy you, steal, kill, and destroy, that you must, you must make him pay when he comes to attack you. Okay, so again, take these words back to the Holy Spirit in prayer. But what I'm talking about from this point on is when the devil comes and to attack you, because trust me, he will when you are walking in God's path. When you are not walking God's path, spiritual warfare doesn't exist. If you're not in spiritual warfare, you're not on God's path. I'm just letting you know right now, that's the reality. Now, spiritual warfare isn't your portion. Don't hear what I'm not saying. But what I'm saying is, is that you can expect it to happen at some point. It may not happen for a week, it may not happen for a month, God willing, it may not happen for a year or longer. But at the end of the day, the devil will still try to come for you. And you have to understand, you must, you must make him pay with troops. Because if you do not make him pay, you will become pure cannon fodder. And if you're not familiar with the term cannon fodder, it is basically the thing that they would shoot with the cannons for target practice. Because that's what you become. You literally become target practice for the enemy to shoot. His weapons at you, and you just take a beating literally for no reason. That's what it means. You must put yourself in a position when a tormenting spirit comes that you will make it pay with its existence, so that the next time the strongman and this hierarchy because remember that Jesus called Satan's army a kingdom. So there's a hierarchy. There are if you're thinking of military structures, you're going to have lieutenants. Lieutenants, if we're from the Army, lieutenants and sergeants and majors and colonels and generals. He has a hierarchy, okay? When you make the lieutenants pay with their existence, their commanding officers are going to think twice from attacking you. That is so critical. And so where does this all start? How is this biblical? Well, let's start Isaiah 61, verse 3. This is the one verse that truly unlocked The, the, the whole aspect is the reality is the spirit of despair, the spirit of heaviness, these things come, are sourced from evil, and they're actually actual spirits because that's what the Bible calls them. And provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow upon them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, an oil of joy instead of mourning. A garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. Wow, what a powerful statement! So what this starts with is this thing: looking people, there are going to be people that are grieving and mourning. You lose a loved one. You're caught in a situation where tormenting thoughts come. But God said your portion is a crown of beauty. He said your portion is an oil of joy. He said your portion is a garment of praise. But he does say, because again, that says a spirit of despair, a spirit of heaviness in different translations. So what does that mean? It means that there are certain evil spirits that operate primarily in this space. Even today, I had to rebuke and bind a spirit of heaviness in my life. It happens. It's something that just occurs, and generally it's either trauma-related or some kind of situation where it's uncomfortable and you're like, wow, I didn't want to get caught in this, but now I'm stuck. And then the heaviness drops and you can feel it because you kind of like weigh down. Like you literally, you just get weighed down. The despair comes up, the anxiety flares up, the depression flares up, all these things. If you're stuck in any form of addiction, your first release is to go to it to try to get numb or to experience some form of ecstasy or high or something to just allow you to just feel better. Okay, but at the end of the day, that's sourced in the demonic. Those things come from the devil because he wants to push you back into the pit that you climbed out of. And we're going to talk about very soon how to deal with that. But we also see in Matthew chapter 5:9 that blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God. So it is important that peace is something that you establish as a right, but also a just a form of living that you search out peace. We talked about Peter talking about that earlier, that it becomes this aspect in which you become someone who can solve situations, that wherever you're at, no one wants to act up. When you walk into the room, you want to be in a situation where everyone is like, okay, we're going to behave. We're going to just not act up anymore. We're going to be just better. That's what it means to be a peacemaker. That's what it means. If you can walk into a room and peace reigns, you're a peacemaker. And that's what God is calling. He's calling us all to be peacemakers because guess what? They're called children of God. And that's what he calls his sons and his daughters. So his sons and daughters are meant to bring peace into situations, to shift atmospheres, to be thermostats that can, when turning the dial, can either turn the heat up and brighten the situation or cool it down to decompress the situation. That's what God is calling you for. He's calling you to bring these aspects because peace is something that can be made. And when peace can be made, guess what? Torment can't stand. Very, very powerful. So I'm going to hop over to Matthew 18, verses 18 to 20. I'm going to go ahead and read it, and I'm going to give— again, I'm going to give another statement on it. So truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if 2 of you on earth agree about anything, They ask for it; it'll be done for them by my Father in heaven. Remember, this is Jesus talking. For there will be two or four where two or three are gathered in my name. There I am with them. Oof! This is powerful. So let's unpack this this verse again and again again. Take this back into prayer with the Holy Spirit to see where you're at because with the things I'm about to tell you, if you're not ready for them, don't do them. Trust me. You don't want to cross a line that the spirit is not ready for you to cross. And this is a statement that I struggled with for a long time, but really the key thing to understand is, is that the devil operates in 2 realms. He operates on earth and he operates in the second heaven, which is functionally like what you would think about, like the sky or the place in between heaven and earth. And that's the truth. And so that's how he operates. The devil doesn't operate in hell. There isn't a single scripture in the entire Bible that says the devil operates In fact, there are two scriptures that talk about Satan operating on earth: Job chapter one verse seven, and Peter where he talks about the devil goes around prowling like a roaring lion to devour someone. He can't devour someone if he's in hell. And so the reality is the devil's on this earth, and he goes to and fro looking for things, looking for someone to devour. And what Jesus is saying. In this verse, he's saying if you decide to bind something on earth, it's going to be bound in heaven. If you decide to loose something on earth, it'll be loosed in heaven. So this is a really powerful statement because guess what? You can actually loose blessings upon yourself. I think something, and if you, and again, if you, there might be some religious people that might come into disagreement with me, but the reality is this: there is nothing in the Bible that Jesus says that you can't loose blessings on yourself. Where does it say that if you want a blessing, loose it from heaven. When the dove, the Holy Spirit, came and fell upon Jesus during his baptism, it opened heaven. He opened heaven when the Holy Spirit descended. Guess what? There's no scripture that says it was closed. Operate as if you're under an open heaven. Loose blessings over yourself. Speak life. Speak these things over yourself. If you want to stop doing something then declare it and say it. This is the power of— that's what it says, Proverbs: life and death are in the tongue. This is the power of what we speak, because remember, we have 2 natures. We have the priestly nature, that's prayer and worship, and then the kingly nature, which is decreeing. We have both natures, and when you decree something, it becomes law. Why do you think the devil wants to control your tongue so much? Why does he try to plant tormenting tormenting thoughts in your mind to steer you, because he knows you have dominion, authority, and power on this earth, and what you say becomes written law. So knowing that, knowing that you can loose blessings on yourself, knowing that you can release— loose all these beautiful things, guess what? The exact opposite can happen. So when the devil comes knocking on your door, bringing tormenting thoughts, I want you to say some form of this, uh, statement. It is a declaration, it is not a prayer, okay? And let the Holy Spirit guide you, because there's many forms that I've heard and many forms that I use, and the Spirit will tell me different ones depending on the situation. But what he says is, I bind the spirit that brought that in, okay? Whatever that is, whether it's a lustful thought, maybe it's a, uh, an anger thought, maybe it's a tormenting thought, whatever it is, I bind you, spirit. Boom, boom, boom. And you kind of talk about that, what And then you said, I bind any other spirits that are associated with this attack. Because remember, this is not an attack in the second heaven. You're not warring in the second heaven, and I'll talk about that here in a moment. You're binding everyone that's involved. So I bind the spirit that brought that tormenting thought. I bind any other spirits that were associated with that action against me. I bind the strongman, which is functionally a manager, and I bind the kingdom. Okay, so what you're doing is you're binding every single thing that's involved because you may not understand or discern all those things. And I cast you before the feet of Jesus. Guess what happens? We're in a war, ladies and gentlemen, sons and daughters of the Most High God. If you do not stand your ground and either let the Lord fight your battles, or as in these situations— because remember He is not going to do the things for you that he is giving you dominion and authority to do. No different than you don't brush your kids' teeth when they're 33 years old. You just don't do that. The, the 33-year-old man or woman brushes their own teeth. God's not going to do the things for you that he has delegated to you, and this is one of them. You must bind the spirits and cast them before the feet of Jesus. Okay, and your scriptures that talk about where you can cast them into the abyss— because remember when Legion came out of that, the man or 2 men, uh, from the 2 various scriptures, and there's the legions, and they said, please do not cast us into the abyss but instead throw us into the pigs. Guess what? At the end of the day, this is spiritual warfare. And at the end of the day, if the devil is going to come for you and attack you and cross that line, okay? Because remember, this is a reactive thing; it's not a proactive thing. Don't proactively attack, okay? Speaking from someone who did that without realizing it and dealt with infirmity for a very long time, do not proactively attack. Do not go into a city praying against the spirits of abortion. Do not go into a city and pray against anything. When you're attacked, you— they cross the line and they're now in your space. You have a right to defend yourself. You bind them and you cast them before the feet of Jesus. Or if the Spirit guides you, cast them into the abyss. Because Satan has only so many troops. He's not unlimited like God. And when he wants to attack you, he has to know, okay, I'm going to lose these troops, but I need to do the attack anyway. And guess what happens, ladies and gentlemen? When he's attacking you, he can't attack someone else because eventually the number of troops that he has runs out, and therefore he has to focus in certain areas. So this scripture from Matthew 18 is so powerful. You must disarm and disable these tormenting spirits because guess what? They're not going to stop. They don't get tired. They don't sleep. They don't care for you. They want to destroy you. They want to destroy everything that's about you because they know you're a son and daughter of the Most High God. They have no respect for you, so you have to put them in their place. And I can tell you from firsthand experience, God will not do for me Unless I do it for myself. I have prayed, and God's like, no, you got to decree it. You got to speak it out loud and decree those bindings. Bind them. Because what happens is when you bind it on earth, they're bound in heaven. So if they're operating in the second heaven, guess what? That still traps them. And God will send his angelic hosts down, and they will take them away, and they will never bother you again. Now, it doesn't mean the tormenting thoughts won't return. But it's a new set of troops, and guess what? They have to pay the price too. And so that is the key thing, is you have to understand you're in a war, and when you get attacked, you're allowed to reciprocate. Remember, it is a counterattack, not an attack. And so I'm going to close out this live stream with this last verse, and it is Ephesians chapter 6, verses 17 through 18. And if you're familiar with Ephesians 6, it's the full armor of God. But this is the key part. It says, take the helmet of salvation, and let's put it on, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions. That's the 7th armor. People forget that one. With all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. How powerful is that? At the end of the day, we guard our minds from these tormenting thoughts because we are saved. We know at the end of the day, our portion is Jesus Christ. Many people believe our portion is heaven. The reality is that's not true. And in fact, if you read Revelation, you see that the heaven gets whooped away, blown away at the Great White Throne Judgment, and all of God's people that was in heaven go to earth and stay on earth. Your portion in eternity isn't heaven. Your portion is Jesus Christ. And when you understand who Jesus Christ is, Guess what? You don't want anything else because he already is everything that you'd want. And so at the end of the day, your helmet of salvation guards your mind from tormenting thoughts that, you know, you carry, that salvation is your portion, that when you gave your life to Jesus and you made him Lord and you proclaimed that he rose from the dead and you believed in his heart, all those things, and you walk out life, guess what happens? Salvation is your portion. It becomes a helmet that protects you from tormenting thoughts. And at the end of the day, the spirit of heaviness can do all it wants. It will be able to try all the things to make you come off of that. But at the end of the day, when you know you're saved and you know where your destiny is going, all these tormenting thoughts can't hold their ground anymore. And at the end of the day, God wins because he has the final say. And remember, God is timeless. So the victory that he has in Revelation To him has already happened. It may not have happened in our time because we're in time, but God is outside of time. And so God has already won the battle. And that's the essence of salvation, because you already know you're victorious. You just have to walk it out. What a beautiful statement. So I'm going to say a closing prayer for all of those that are dealing with tormenting thoughts. So, Heavenly Father, everyone under the sound of my voice, I want to pray a special anointing, a special gift of discernment to understand the problems that they're facing. Because, Father, at the end of the day, they need to understand the source where it came from, whether it's a sin, a generational curse, or some other aspect of their walk. Father, guide them into that place and let your Holy Spirit. Your precious Holy Spirit, guide them into an understanding where they can receive what you need to release to them. They can speak the prayers. They can renounce the sin. They can repent from it. They can move away. Give them words to be able to walk in truth. Give them scriptures. To reach and understand, give them truth so that they can receive the peace that passes all understanding. Allow them to walk in victory, knowing that the battle has been won and that you are victorious. Peace is their portion, not torment. It doesn't matter how much in their life they have experienced loss that they've endured. Pain that they've suffered, infirmities or disease or illness. At the end of the day, their portion is peace, and that peace comes on a daily basis. I pray that over them, over their mind, that the helmet of salvation will guard their thoughts, that the armor of God, which is Jesus Christ, will protect them in all their comings and goings and allow them to live a life of peace And in the instances where they have to use the word of God, the sword, that they'll use it properly and correctly, all in accordance to your will and your word over their life. In Jesus Christ's most holy name, amen. So thank you for joining this live stream. I was really excited to have you guys here, but I have one last request for you.
