Good morning, everyone. I'm hoping you're having a great day after Christmas. So we're here with a beautiful, beautiful verse from Matthew chapter 2 that talks about the wise men or the Magi coming and giving gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus. Did you know that those actually have deep symbolic meaning to the Lord? And the reason being is, is that gold obviously was things that were given to kings. Frankincense was incense that was burned to gods. And myrrh was representative of death. And so here we have in these beautiful gifts that the Magi had given to Jesus and his family, representative of his whole life, his kinghood, his deity, and his death on the cross. So take heart and know that Jesus is alive today, that we are still in the Christmas season celebrating his birth, but know that Easter is around the corner and that we'll celebrate his death and resurrection, and know that he reigns and intercedes on your behalf daily. God bless. God bless.
