After a time in prayer, I heard the word of the Lord come to me about Pope Leo XIV. Let's hop right into it. Robert Prevost, Bishop of Chicago, was considered to be a dark horse in running for the Pope's position, and he was a moderate within the Catholic Church that sat between Pope Francis's progressive reforms and previous popes like Pope John Paul II. Pope Leo will be inaugurated as the official successor to Pope Francis today on May 18th, and this is a powerful expression of the Catholic religious authority and structure. He takes over a church that has over 1.4 billion people in it. It's the largest Christian denomination in the world, and many people have speculated that Pope Leo is considered to be the last pope in the prophecy from Saint Malachy that some debate accurately predicted every single pope since it was spoken so many years ago. Today, I'm here to talk about that powerful revelation and what God wants released over his children today. One that was going to speak truth into my Catholic brethren, brothers and sisters who seek the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart and all their might, who have not gotten caught up in the religious and lost by man's tradition that override the word of God. The prophecy of Saint Malachi was written in a book in 1595, even though the saint lived in the 12th century. The most interesting part of the prophecy is the last pope. One that's known as Peter the Roman is predicted to rule the Catholic Church when Rome, the city on 7 hills, is destroyed by a dreadful judge when they come to judge the people. It hearkens to the false prophet spoken to in Revelation 13, starting in verse 11. Those scriptures read, Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth, and it had 2 horns like a lamb, and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast, which in this case is the Antichrist, in its presence and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast whose mortal wound was healed. It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of the people. And by the signs that it's allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. and was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand and on the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has that mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of his name. So many people have prophesied that this last pope maybe known as Peter the Roman, will be the one that deceives the Catholics and then others into worshiping the Antichrist, who's described at the beginning of chapter 13 in Revelation. When you look at Revelation 17, where it talks about the harlot who sits on the 7 hills, and which is also known as Rome, people started drawing all kinds of connections between the last pope, the Antichrist, who many believe is the Islamic Messiah, Because of the many parallels in their scriptures, that you have the stage set that there's a run at the end times. But the Lord of Hosts has a prophecy to say to you today, because he's the one that's got the last say, that even though man can create these great stories and draw all these threads together to make them seem as this is one thread that's about to happen, I'm here to declare to you what the Lord wants his people to hear about Pope Leo. Firstly, He's not the last prophet of Revelation, nor will be he the last— nor will he be the last Pope of the Catholic Church. He's going to reign over this church like the long successors of leaders that gone before him, and he will be successful in many needed reforms that the Catholic Church needs to partake in, including the modernization of its systems, its technology and philosophy, even those things that are outside the doctrine of scriptures, bringing the church into the modern age. The Lord has said that the overall church has drifted from its first love. It needs to return back to him. Pope Leo will make the strides in that direction, reuniting the Catholics with Christ in new and exciting ways. His speeches are going to inspire and compel people to believe in the Lord again, breathing a fresh air of life into a church that's gone dormant across the world in many places, ones that regressed in doctrines and philosophy because they've mixed them with human ideals and not operating by God's standards and his scriptures, which are above all. You will see even this year a progression of radical and needed changes that's gonna ruffle the feathers of the cardinals and bishops alike, including other Catholic leaders, business people, and even common folk. The Lord said he will put his spirit in Pope Leo to be a radical step forward in both faith and in hope for the people, even those who feel like they are completely unseen and lost. He's going to establish a stronger connection to the United States and the presidents that come during this Pope's tenure. While there's going to be differences, it's going to compel others to move their faith in the direction of Christ, and you will see mostly good change across the board as his reign as Pope commences. So I want you to understand a couple things about prophecy before we kind of dive into a couple pieces of this. First and foremost, prophecy is timeless. So if you're new to prophecy, make sure you understand and take the words of the Lord back to God in prayer, because you have to understand is, is that while talking about the Catholic Church, while we're talking about Pope Leo in a general sense, God can be talking about the church as a whole, as well as we know that it continues to drift back away from him. And he wants that people, all of us to be fair, to come back to our first love, which is Jesus Christ. You have to recognize that a lot of people love to prophesy doom and gloom. They want to take these scriptures, these prophecies, and try to tie them together and mix them together. But understand this: there's no description in the Book of Revelation that ties the false prophet to being the last pope. It's a great story to tell, but there's no proof in the scriptures. Even when you understand that there's probably going to be some aspect of that happening in Rome, given what the scriptures say in Revelation 17, that doesn't have to correlate to the Vatican, which happens to live in Rome. Again, people like to draw comparisons. and say these are the things that are going to happen. We don't know the truth because that's not necessarily what's available to us. But what we do know is the actions that they're going to take, because we can determine the fruit of the people. And that's key, because that's how we do, is we consume the fruit, and then by their fruit we can see who they then belong to. And that's what Revelation reveals to us. And God made it very clear, even in this prophecy, that Pope Leo will do the work of the kingdom. He's going to move things forward. He's going to push things in a direction that are going to make people uncomfortable because they're needed, because change change isn't always comfort, but God promises peace and joy through that. That's what he's doing. You don't see the fruit of an Antichrist. You don't see the fruit of a false prophet. You see the fruit of a person who's humbled himself across his life and has done the things that he has done. Is everyone perfect? We can probably find fault in every single person on this planet, and we can't say that for sure what Pope Leo did or didn't do throughout his life, that what, what has pleased the Lord and what hasn't pleased the Lord. But what we do know is God is just has basically prophesied that this man is going to live through presidents and that he will continue to move the church forward in a big and profound way, in exciting opportunities to do the things that he wants the church to do. So as a New Dawn prophet, as I'm prophesying to the nations over this, over this video, I want to encourage you today, whether you're Catholic or not, that the future is bright, that your best days are ahead of you, that the things that you're looking to accomplish in this day and age can still be accomplished because God is for you. And No one is against you, and if they are, they won't win. God loves you, and God loves his people. He loves the Catholic Church. He loves the whole Christian denomination and all the different aspects within it and all the different segments. He loves his children. He wants the best for them. We know there's no religion in heaven, but we know that that's how the— these things have come about here on earth. And so we move forward as one unified brotherhood and church as a group of people knowing that the kingdom of God is at hand and that it is moving in power and force, and that all the different denominations are moving it forward with the hope and expectation of greatness and love. And that's the expectation that we have for this new Pope who will then be commissioned into his office today to be able to move the people forward in a way that inspires others to follow Jesus Christ to follow in the footsteps of Peter and John and James and all the great apostles from the first century to continue the work that is described in the Book of Acts, 'cause the Book of Acts is the only book that doesn't have an ending because the reality is it's still going on today.
