Don’t block God’s blessing

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well today. This is another amazing and gorgeous day. Birds are chirping, and let me go ahead and put my AirPods in. Today, I hope you are having an amazing day today. So today I want to talk about the thing that I want to catch is. And cover is how not to block the blessing on your life. So this is an interesting topic for a lot of people. How do you block the blessing of God on your life? Well, it's actually very— it's actually very simple, but very almost in some instances— I don't want to speak difficult over you, but it's sometimes hard to recognize the challenging aspects. Of what it means to block a blessing of God. So if you don't have a heart of gratitude, then you can never receive a blessing from God. If you can't receive a gift from someone, you'll never receive a blessing from God. In fact, it is actually so nuanced in your life that blessings can come in so many different ways. That many people miss it. So let me give you guys an example that kind of allows you to kind of receive how you don't block God's blessings. So if you're in the service industry where you get tips, so let's say you're a waiter, waitress, anything where you receive tips. If someone wants to tip you $100 for the things that you did for them, let them give it to you. That's a blessing from God because the person wants to bless you and God wants to bless you. But if you don't receive that blessing, guess what happens? That blessing goes back to the person that's tried to give it to you and you actually refuse to receive it. And so I want you to understand that if someone is trying to give you something, say for example, they want to take you out to dinner and you're fighting over the check, okay? Don't fight over the check. When someone wants to buy you lunch, let them buy you lunch. If they want to buy you coffee, let them buy you coffee. These are beautiful things. If they have gifts that they want to give you, let them give you gifts. It's so important. My apologies in the chat for those who put in the chat today because it's too sunny for me to see the chat out and about. That's the beauty of being out here in the sunny South. So if you block God's blessings, he can't give you the things you need in order for you to bless others. And so what do I mean by that? The Bible says That you are blessed to be a blessing to others. And if you don't allow God to bless you, guess what? You can't overflow to others because God blesses you first. And for me, as a head of household, he blesses me before he'll bless my wife. He blesses me before he blesses my kids. He blesses me before I bless my family, my business, my ministry, all the things that happens in the church, my community. All of those things happen to me first. Amen. first before they happen to someone else. And don't block those blessings. Here's another example. I'm gonna put out a video on this. This is totally crazy, but it's so awesome. So the other day, God walked me through a process on how to get a brand new diamond custom ring. We're gonna create a video on it. It's so awesome. And it was not cheap. And it was something that he walked me through step by step. This is how you're gonna afford it. And he blessed me with it. I was able to receive it. I almost blocked the blessing because I almost didn't go to get the ring because I'm like, oh, I can't afford it. God, I can't do this. Father, how do I afford this? And he's like, don't worry about it, I'll take care of you. I'll show you how you can pay for it. And he did, and we got it done. It's awesome. The ring's gonna come, uh, actually I think on Saturday, and we're gonna create a video on it. It's gonna blow you away. But don't block God's blessing on your life. Don't reject someone giving you something, because here's why people Block the blessing of God on their life because they don't realize that God blesses you through other people. That's the secret that people miss, because people are generous. That's how God does it. He doesn't magically drop money out of the air. So like, here is a perfect example. I'm coming up on a tree. I'll show it to you guys. So I'm coming up on this tree and You know, when you look at this tree, you see this tree. I don't see money on this tree. Does anyone see money on this tree? I don't see money on this tree. So money doesn't grow on trees. And so, well, how do you get blessings from God if they don't come through other people? Well, you can't primarily. Pretty much that is the way God works. And so when someone wants to do something nice for you, Take you out to dinner, pay for dinner, buy you a coffee, give you a big tip, maybe pay for a meal. Heck, we've had— I even seen people just recently win cars from church, get gas money, get grocery money, gift certificates. Don't block the blessings of God on your life because of your pride, of your stubbornness, because I was there. I did this. I did it for myself. I blocked God's blessings on my life because like, oh, I don't need that. I don't want that. No, God is an abundant God who wants to bless you over and over and over again. In order for him to do that, you have to receive over and over again. And so I just want to encourage you today that you are able to receive God's beautiful blessings every single moment of your life, but all you have to do is receive. All you have to do is say thank you and accept it into your arms and just be appreciative to how things are done. Otherwise, you will be literally stunting everything that God wants to do in your life because you're just ultimately, you just don't want it. And that's not where you want to be because God has so much money. Think about this. He has so much money that there's no limit to the point that he can bless you. It's the limit in which you can receive it, and so I want you all to kind of get that in your spirit. There is no limit to how much God can bless you in your life. There's only how much you can receive in your life. That's the limit because we all have. We all know we're not going to live forever. Even those that are going to end up in the end times and see the millennial period, they're all going to eventually. See the point where there will be some form of transformation. So no one is living forever on this earth until Christ comes back again. And so in those moments that you can be blessed, receive those blessings. It comes in so many different forms, I can't even describe to you. The other aspect that I really want to catch on that point is those blessings can come in a form of discounts. This is a part that I missed. Because there is a really, really renowned pastor slash evangelist named Jonathan Shuttlesworth. He operates out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He's got, I think, a church in Dallas-Fort Worth. And he had a story in a book, I think it's called Financial Overflow, and he was talking about how God wanted to bless him with suits and he didn't want him going around wearing drag clothes anymore. So he's supposed to be a representative of God, so he should look good because that's Well, God, God owns everything, so you should have the best of the land. You should wear the nicest clothes, the nicest shoes, the nicest things. You know, there is nothing that's supposed to be second nature. Sorry, there's a, there's a truck coming by here. I'm gonna go ahead and let it go by. A little bit too loud. And so what he said was, is God said, hey, go into this store and look at the suits, and I want you to buy yourself a suit. And he's like, I have $140. And my bank account—that's all I have. He's like, Holy Spirit's like, go into the store. And guess what happens? He goes in and he sees a suit for a hundred and like $142 or something to that effect. And but it was actually $1,400 on retail—the retail price—but it kept ringing up at $140, like literally 90% off. And the cashier was like, no, this is wrong. This suit is not discounted. And they brought the manager over and they couldn't figure it out. And eventually they sold this high-end suit to evangelist Jonathan Shuttlesworth for $140. So blessings don't always come in the form of— in the sense that you will receive it in the sense it's always free. There may be a part where you have to have some skin in the game, maybe some money, maybe some time, maybe some energy, and you'll be blessed. by that work. That's the essence how God works. That's actually the story that I would have with the ring, is it was a combination of things. I had to give up a bunch of stuff in order to receive it, but by doing so, I had to put a little bit more money in and ended up with this magnificent ring which will just utterly blow you away. So that again, I'm planting that seed for that future video because it is next level. And so I just want to bless you guys today and just Kind of talk about the power that it is in the sense of being blessed and receiving something from God, that it's either going to come through a person and that person's going to give it to you, or it's going to come through some company or something equivalent to that where it's going to be some discounted thing which allows you to afford it. You put your part into it and God does the rest. And that's powerful. I mean, I can't, I can't even describe how often that occurs to me. In the sense of all kinds of things, God just moves in mighty ways, and He just makes the way where there is no way. When you don't have enough money, He just finds ways to get you more money. It just comes and it chases you. And I—it's for me—I'd have to give you every single example for to kind of relate to it. But I can assure you it happens. I mean, I've had people, I've had companies where they allow you to just skip payments. For certain things, or, you know, they're going to give you discounts and all kinds of cool stuff just because you ask. Like, remember, you don't have because you don't ask. And it's so beautiful. And so I just want to encourage everyone today with the things that they're doing and, uh, and just, you know, let you know that there's so much more out there for you. Sorry, the sun was so bright I couldn't actually see the screen, and now it's kind of like in a cloud, and so I can kind of see it. So I just, again, I'm just here to encourage you today, don't block God's blessing in your life. Look at something that's coming to you that you would otherwise not have Whether it's free or discounted, and just receive it every single time. Don't ever turn it away. That is, if you, if you get into a state where you don't deserve it, you don't believe it, that's the lie of the enemy. That's the devil just talking to you. You are a son or daughter of the Most High God. God loves you. I love you. He cares for you. He wants the best for you. When you understand that the best of the land belongs to you, That everything that's nice belongs to you, that it is your birthright as a royal in the Kingdom of God, which is what we talk about all the time on this channel, that you're royalty and you are deserving of these things because your Father let His Son die in your place and opened all these things up. You gotta remember, God doesn't need— He does not need gold or silver. That belongs to me, that belongs to you, and it's for us to use, it's for us to enjoy, it's for us to partake in. And so don't reject the blessings of God. Don't reject that raise. Don't reject that job offer. Don't reject that opportunity to get tuition for your school. Don't reject any of those things. Don't reject the medals that you've earned. Don't reject the awards you've won. Nothing. Accept all of them in Jesus' name. I'm telling you, those blessings are for you. Their blessings are for your future. And I'm telling you, when you start to overflow in those spaces, when you start to overflow in those blessings, guess what God's going to do? He's going to bless you even more so he can— you can bless others and you can teach them the same thing. And guess what? He will give you so much stuff. He will give you so much money because of the work of your hands. That at the end of the day, you won't have anything else to do but give it away. That's reality. And so I just want to encourage you today. This is a powerful message. It was kind of something they laid on my heart today and showed me how I was trying not to receive those things. I was trying— even the other day I was out and about and he was like, go treat yourself to the— grab yourself some lunch. Why are you not enjoying some of the nice food that's out there? You know, you deserve it. Go get it. And that's what I did. And so don't let the guilt prevent you from receiving the beauty that God has for you.
