In this short devotional, Speaker A opens with a bold invitation for every Christian to listen, then Speaker B explains that the disciples—and believers today—often let their emotions override the truth of Scripture. He reminds listeners that the Old Testament foretold the Messiah’s persecution, death, resurrection, and eternal reign, and that the New Testament confirms these events in Christ. By contrasting emotional feelings of abandonment or doubt with biblical promises of God’s constant presence, love, and sacrifice, he urges believers to prioritize God’s Word over fleeting emotions. The segment concludes with Speaker A urging viewers to subscribe and share the message as a blessing to others.

Every Christian needs to listen to this.
Are they Jews? What did they have in their possession? The Old Testament. So they should have known that according to the scriptures, that the Christ would come, that the Christ would be persecuted, that the Christ would be killed, that the Christ would be resurrected, that the Christ would reign forever. But instead of remembering everything they know from the word, they let their emotions eclipse the truth of what they know in God's word. And you and I are guilty of doing the same thing. How many times has something happened in your life and you let Emotions eclipse the truth of God's word. You feel abandoned, but his word says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. You feel he does not love you, but the word says that while you were yet a sinner, Christ demonstrated his love by dying for you. You feel, but the word says. And while your emotions are real, we cannot allow our emotions to override the truth of God's word.
