God Never Designed You to Work for Money, MUST WATCH!

John Humenik argues that trading time for money is a biblical lie that keeps Christians in debt. He says true financial freedom comes from creativity and scalable work, not hourly wages, and that money is a seed meant for generosity and kingdom-building, not hoarding.

Hi, I'm John Humenik. Welcome back to the channel. I'm so excited you're here today. I've got an amazing video. This video is for people who are currently struggling with their finances. If you know anyone who's struggling with debt, possibly even broke, lost their job in this current economy, and just overall struggling to make ends meet, this video is for you. So please, if you're new to this channel, subscribe and also share it with a friend because this is going to blow you away because it's going to allow you to break the mindset that the world has put into your heart and into your mind that you have now come into agreement with that will allow you to totally set you free for the rest of your life. This may not necessarily be an easy journey for you to traverse. A lot of the concepts I'm going to cover may not necessarily make sense to you. So feel free to rewatch this video, because I'm going to go into in depth a lot of the core concepts and things, that principles that you may be standing on that are causing problems in your life, and then help you set you totally free of them and move you forward, ultimately truly getting you closer to Christ as you do this process. Because the principles that are— have been established in the Bible will allow you to move forward. But some of them, to be honest with you, aren't that easy to see. And that's what we're here to kind of unpack. So let's go ahead and get started. So I want to start with a couple core concepts that have been established as a core paradigm, basically a lifestyle than most people have. And so when you see society as it is today, what we see is it's very structured around a schooling system that puts people into a workforce. And so the core concept today is you're trading your time for money. It's the— it is the primary principle that is basically the bedrock for everything that most people in this world operate under, which is I'm going to go to work, For a certain wage, and I'm gonna get paid for that wage based upon the number of hours I work or some kind of contractual agreement, especially if you're on salary or something similar. And then therefore, as you continue to elevate in your profession, you can continue to make more money, or you can move to other jobs or other roles and even get more money and eventually get to a place where you can establish a livelihood with based upon maybe proper budgeting, maybe being able to be, you know, denying yourself and, and maybe a lot of the pleasures, but then creating. A retirement package that after X number of years, generally around 40 or so, you can now move on with the second half of your life and be happy. And so I want you to understand that every single principle that I just said is an absolute lie. Now, I know what I just said is going to be difficult to understand because you maybe have been built and grown up under the system. I was no different. And I want you to make sure you understand is there's nothing I told you in the last couple of minutes is a principle in which you should stand upon. On. Because what it does is all it does is cause chaos, is causes strife, and never puts you in a position where you're able to just basically function as an individual in the kingdom of God. Because you never can take your hand off the plow. You always have to be plowing. And so what happens is, is that you're constantly stuck. You'll hear things like money is the root of all evil. That's a lie. Scripture says it's the love of money That is the root of all evil. If you don't believe me, go ahead and look it up. You'll also see that many people talk about then money as a tool. Well, if it was, you would be able to reproduce the tool and to be able to do more with it. But again, it's a lie. In scripture, money is a seed. It's— it is all about it. That's the whole point of generosity. It has to leave your hand. Tools don't leave your hands. Seeds do. And so I want you to understand, principally, you have to go back to the garden. This is very, very key. If you've watched any of my videos or even other videos by other Christian content creators like Myron Goldman as an example, you will see that you that they always hearken you back to the garden. Well, what's in the garden? Jesus. That's key. It's about getting back into His presence. It's getting back into His perfect will, being able to move into a place. But it's not that simple if you've never done it before, if you struggle to hear God's voice and be able to move forward. So I want to give you some very key principles. And how to eliminate debt and poverty and all these problems from your life. Now, what I can't promise you is the time that will take. There is instances where it can be very rapid and very quickly, and your generosity can actually basically be like rocket fuel to this whole process, as well as the anointing that's on you. But at the same time, this is very key, and I want to make sure you understand it, is what it looks like for one person may not look that for that another person, 'cause there's different seasons and different things that God is teaching that person and established for them to be able to move forward. But what I can assure you, that if you stick with this over a year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, you will establish yourself to the place where God wants you to, because you'll realize it's not you that's doing it. It's you coming into agreement for the things that God has already ordained for you. And you're just aligning your will, your heart, and your mind to his purpose on your life. And that's when acceleration can happen. That's when God can establish you. And that's when things really start to happen. And to be honest with you, again, I don't know the timeline, but I can assure you the destination, it does include being debt-free, being able to live the lifestyle that God has ordained for you, which, believe it or not, for most people is far greater than what you can imagine. No matter what, you know, the street preachers and all these other people are constantly saying, you know, what you're starting to see at length, what God is doing is he is moving in great power in your life. And I can assure you that when you start to understand his identity for you rooted in Christ, you see scriptures like that all the blessings that are in heaven belong to you, that you have the power that's greater than that of the earth, and that the Holy Spirit can do exceedingly abundantly greater through you. You'll understand is, is that That's there. And now it's all about the scale. It's all about the season. And so when you start to walk in that kind of faith and tie your actions to it, truly, to be honest with you, it's significantly bigger, even for, even for the biggest dreamers that are out there. So let's go ahead and unpack some of the core concepts you have to walk out today in order to be successful. So number one, Jesus talked about this in scripture, that you must plan out your harvest. Your budget and move forward. Because it talks about this, when an architect goes to plan a building and he starts it, unless he's actually thought through the material costs and labor costs, he may undercut themselves and be ashamed. It's exceptionally important to be able to go into a place where you understand where your money is coming out of. And especially in the day and age of auto debits and all the things that are out there, that you understand what's going out and making sure that your income doesn't get exceeded by your expenses. I mean, this is really basic, you know, anything that you hear from a Dave Ramsey or anything else. This is basic 101. You cannot outspend your income no matter what season you're in. It doesn't matter if you're broke. It doesn't matter if you're making a lot of money. You cannot exceed your income because what happens is this gets you into the second problem, which is now you want certain things and you want them sooner than God's willing to give them to you. And so now you borrow. And this situation is prevalent. And to be honest with you, I'll be even preaching to myself as a part of this, you know, teaching, because you have to is, is that people want certain things. So they'll go ahead and establish a credit line. And so they'll go purchase cars and they'll go purchase homes and they'll purchase boats and they'll purchase all kinds of activities. They'll have hobbies and they'll spend and they'll buy the latest TVs and the newest phones and computers. But what they're doing is, what they're doing is it's another form of number one, which is they're exceeding their capacity to purchase things by hiding it behind interest rates and payments. And the thing is, is when you start to understand that. It's a form of greed. This is really what it boils down to. And what you're doing is, is you're getting ahead of God's plan for you on his life, and you're establishing yourself into the world system. This is key. So step number 1, understand the, the money that's going out of your accounts. If you have to, my recommendation is create another account which has income that you put into it in order for money to come out. They're basically separated. So what you should have is, you know, this is my recommendation. This is that a husband should have his discretionary account, a wife should have her discretionary account, and there should be a core account that has the core bills being paid out of it. That way you are very intentional on a week-to-week, month-to-month basis of what's being spent, and you can stay ahead of it. Now the core thing is, is now most people will start to talk about, well, it'd be great. This is where you go into an investment strategy, set aside some money on week basis. I'm not even going to talk about that. In fact, if you want to do that, there's plenty of other channels that will help you with this. But what I want you to do is understand this, is that I want you to understand that is we want your income to exceed your expenses. If you are then taking that, the key thing that I want to impress upon you is be generous. This is number 3, is I want you to walk forward in greater levels of generosity. If you're not a tither, start to be. If you're a person that believes it's not biblical, all you have to do is read what Jesus said. He says it was, it was a part of being a tither. You were supposed to do, you were supposed to do the latter as well as the former and move it forward. It's scriptural. You've got Malachi 3:10. You can say that we don't operate under the Old Testament law, but the thing is, is when it's true, when you say that, you're not operating under the sacrificial system no more. The moral law and a lot of the other things still apply because They reiterated it throughout the New Testament, and if they didn't reiterate it, it wouldn't have mattered. They would have left it out. So don't make this a religious thing. Make sure if you're a tither, keep tithing and go above and beyond. If you aren't a tither, take this excess of income that you're establishing and put it into a local church. This isn't about giving to a nonprofit. This is about local church. Start there and continue to increase. Be generous because you can never outgive God because God will always give it back to you. Press down. Shaken together and run over. Again, may not come back necessarily in the same form that you sent it out. May come back in favor. It may come back in future, maybe 50 years from now. It may be part of the legacy that you leave behind. But be generous. It's exceptionally important because what it'll do is it'll set the stage for number 4, because this is the core aspect of this entire teaching and it will set you totally free because the biggest lie that we've heard in finances is trading time for money. Again, we talked about this earlier. Having an hourly rate in which your hand is on the plow and you're working, whether you're a programmer or a barber or a plumber, you're trading your time for finances. And ultimately, you will physically break down. You will need to take time off, and you will want to do something else sometimes, maybe even for a season. And the moment you take your hand off your plow, guess what happens? Your income dries up. And so, even if you've saved up now, you've lost those opportunities because they go to someone else. I want to encourage you today to understand. The concept that comes from Genesis 1:26. And this is key because what God does is he speaks the vision, communicates it, unifies it, and then executes on it. But the thing is, is the core concept that you may not understand is God does not trade his time for establishing the universe. Rather, what he does is he establishes the universe through the currency of creativity. And this is the core part, because when you start to understand fundamentally income and expenses and you start to recognize, you'll start to understand very clearly that in order for you to continue to expand the difference between where you're spending and where you're making, there's only one mass accelerator, and that's creativity, because creativity has no limit. This is very key. If you've heard any teachings on his channel, or even Myron Golden, you're going to start to understand this very, very clearly. It's because creativity allows you to step out of pushing the plow and allow your creativity to take its place. Because now if you're looking to purchase a home, let's say you want to purchase a home for half a million dollars. Well, guess what? Now you can be creative to create something, a product or service that can go into the marketplace that can generate a net profit of half a million dollars in which you can purchase the home. Now you might say, well, that might take a long time to actually go ahead and create something that will become a marketplace where you can net $500,000. And you could probably even debate it and even prove it that it may take 3 or 4 years to do that. And that may be true for a lot of the things that you create. But does— how does that compare to a 15-year mortgage? How does that compare to a 30-year mortgage where now you're paying double or triple the cost of the purchase price in order to buy your home. So this is what I want to encourage with you to understand. This is when you exchange your creativity for your time and money, you set yourself free. And now the limit in which you can start to incur your true income goes through the roof. This is the essence of where a lot of Christians lose— a lot of them will actually lose their minds, but a lot of them misinterpret prosperity because they're talking about, well, you always talk about finances. You always talk about the things of God and how you can be blessed by God. Well, the reality is this: God is the owner of all the gold and the silver on this earth. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He gave the earth to the children of God, not to the children of the world, but the children of God. So all of the things on this earth belong to the children of God, but yet the children of God have been subjected to this mindset that I have to trade my time for money. And the world realized, hey, if I go out there and create offers and products that scale, guess what happens? Now my creativity will pay for all the things that I want, and I can go ahead and get everything that I want. And they can become selfish and operated. We understand as children of God that we're stewards. We understand that we die, we're going to leave everything to someone else. We understand ultimately it is all God's. But he talks about this over and over again in the New Testament, that the New Testament. He wants you to be a great steward. In order to be a great steward, you have to understand that God wants you to use your creativity to excel and not your time, because your time is meant to establish your creativity on the earth, which then allows you to operate in the true image of God, which harkens you back all the way to the garden. And that's the essence of what it is. But that creativity is sourced in God's vision. It's sourced in the area, which is Jehovah Jireh, where the provision is. So that requires a sacrifice to come to that place. It requires your time. It does require your effort. But what it's doing is, is God allows you to partner with you to establish yourself in functionally what would almost be like a modern-day promised land or even a modern-day Goshen, where you now can basically carve out a space where you can operate in scale. It's probably more closer to the promised land than Goshen, but nonetheless, you know, at least spiritually. But what you start to see is truly is that your creativity is the engine that allows you to move forward. And there's a lot of ways to unpack it. There's a lot of ways to scale it. You know, you could talk about making offers into the business world. You can understand things by understanding other people's problems and being able to just unpack them and create solutions for them. There's so many different ways your creativity can be unpacked to move forward. So I want to encourage you today that if you're stuck in a place where just your finances are just shipwrecked. You know, maybe you're out of a job. Maybe you're in a place where there is no point of no return. Maybe you're facing the courts and a foreclosure is coming or bankruptcy is pending. I want you to know God knows that that problem was going to happen before you did, and he has a plan for you to move forward. He has made a way in the desert. There are rivers there. He has made a way in the wilderness. There's a highway there. Sometimes In order to see the forest, you got to step above them, the tree line, in order to see the path. And when you step back and stop trying to do it in your own will, with your own time and with your own money, and allow God to be your God, let him be your covering, let him remove the things from your life that need to be removed, let him transform your mind, let him transform your heart, let him transform your will, basically looking more like Jesus. What you'll start to see is, is that he's already established a path out of where you're at. And then when you realize God is the unlimited God, that path will lead to something so great that even now, whatever you're thinking about, God's got something even greater for you. And I want you— I'm going to leave you with this one thing, and I want you to understand this because it's very important to understand— is the scaling of the world economies. Because there's a lot of people in this world who are stuck in a '90s and a 2000 mindset just because that's just the way they grew up, and they don't understand how the economies of scale have moved since then. I saw this with my mom, with her mindset from the '70s and '80s, and I'm seeing it today with a lot of people, even in the comments. Then they talk about this, that they don't get it. And I want to make sure I set some very clear expectations for you that we live in a massive economy across the world. Now, I don't have the latest figures, but I think the last time I saw is like there were in a global economy, economy probably north of $60 to $70 trillion. It's probably closer to $100, maybe more. What we're— what we're— you know, this is at least what's publicly known because the United States is operating in a massive economy. When you look at the United States as an example, there are 6 states that have a GDP over $1 trillion: New York, California, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and probably Illinois. And then you look at the number of states that have GDPs, gross domestic products, over $500 billion, and there's 20 of them. Now think about this, okay? The smallest state in the United States by economy is Vermont, and I think if I remember correctly, it's around $44 billion. Now, when Christians argue over $1 million and argue over $10 million, I want to be honest with you. If you had $10 million in your pocketbook today, you couldn't move the kingdom of God forward that much. In fact, I know churches that have debt structures that are far greater than that. Today, you could build a church for maybe $2 to $3 million and then finance it for an extended period of time. But You would struggle to add schools and other things to that, much less build a campus, much less build a small town, much less build a city. What you have to understand is that we're not here in order to— for us to become financially rich. We are here to move into a place of exceptional wealth because God wants to move through us into the world. And so we have to recognize is that we're not going to take any of that money to the grave. But, but as God continues to establish you, what he'll do is he'll allow you to incur more wealth because he can get it to you, because he knows he can get it through you. And when you start to understand those principles and understand God's creativity is the fuel for all of this, and God's creativity is massive, God's will and his vision on your life is incredible. In fact, no matter how big you think it is, when you then extrapolate that out over 5, 10, 30 years and even go into components where it's legacy, where it's generational wealth, The reality is this: it's not beyond God's capability to make every single family a billion-plus wealth across this world. It's just not. And that's the thing. It doesn't necessarily mean you're going to live on a cruise ship the rest of your life. It doesn't necessarily mean you're going to fly charter for the rest of this life. But what it does mean is that if you apply the principles of creativity in your life, through your life, God's going to establish you. Because what's going to happen is, is you're going to look more like Christ to the world, and you will move his kingdom forward because you're not doing it for yourself, you're doing it for him. And when you recognize that, then God can do anything through you because you're surrendered to his will. You are humble, you're obedient, and you're willing to make the sacrifices that God needs to move through you. And I can assure you, when you reach that point, there's nothing God can't accomplish in your life. And that's the truth. And the scaling really is just up to God and you and the time you have left on this earth. Because the thing is, is if you had the same lifespans as the pre-flood people, I can assure you the wealth that would be generated would be mind-staggering. And so I want to encourage you today that no matter where you're at in your financial walk, no matter how dire it looks, God's got you. God is your covering. He is your source. You are the resource. Allow your creativity to create something amazing that people need or people want and allow that to become the source that God can work through you. And then be generous. This is key. Don't just start hoarding the cash. Be generous. Help others create things through your wealth. Create schools, create, you know, fund missions, do all kinds of stuff. Because what'll happen is, is when you start to recognize the wealthiest people on this earth, whether they believe in Jesus or not, they're giving away a dramatic portion of their wealth And God's putting on their heart to be generous. So if you're generous, trust me, the faucet gets wet as the water comes through. You don't get to keep most of the water, but trust me, if a faucet is you know has a thousand PSI of water coming through, it's the same as one PSI. And so the thing is, is operate like you're a faucet that has a hundred PSI. Get a ton of water through because you'll still get wet. And I can assure you, when you understand. That even that small percentage that allows you to get wet, I can assure you it will still be mind-staggering to you. So I hope this video blesses you. Please share this with someone that needs to understand how biblical finances work. You have to stand on the word of God because you have to understand. And if you study Proverbs more, you'll start to recognize how God wants you to work, how you need to speak, how you need to think, and how you need to operate and do it with God's heart. Because can't forget that you can be aligned with God's will. And do what's in the Bible. You can have all the head knowledge, but if you don't have the heart, it's going to be struggle. And God's going to want to work on your character before he works on your elevation. And when he does that, I can assure you, all the things that he wants for you in this life will not only manifest for you, but it will become an example for everyone to follow. God bless.
