Here's the TRUTH about Easter you DID NOT know!

John Humenik argues that Easter fulfills God's master plan through Christ's death and resurrection, which he says were pre-ordained to defeat Satan and transfer Abraham's blessings to believers. He claims salvation comes through faith-based proclamation of Jesus as Lord, and that Christ's blood alone atones for all sins, rejecting practices like rosaries and purgatory.

Hi, I'm John Humenik. Welcome back to the channel. Today's message about Easter or Resurrection Sunday, however you decide to celebrate, is going to be a powerful one. I want you to subscribe to this channel and share this video with a friend because this is going to blow you away, because you're going to learn something about this amazing event that you didn't know about before, because God's going to reveal something amazing and incredible for you to receive the gift that is Jesus Christ and the true reason why he had to die. Not only did he have to come resurrected, but it was a part of God's master plan since the beginning. I want you to recognize that God knew that Christ was going to the cross, that he was going to the grave, and that he was going to be resurrected at the dawn of time. This was their plan from the very beginning. Jesus Christ knew, because they're timeless, that if they gave beings the capability of free will, what would happen is, is that they could choose him and that they could not choose him. But Jesus Christ knew that through one death, That the Father would receive billions and billions of sons and daughters as a part of his sacrifice, that he knew that it was not only worth it, it was something that he joyfully did, as the scriptures talks about, because he looked to the cross and understood the joy that it had through this process because he was thinking about you as he moved forward. This is key. This Easter, this Resurrection Sunday, represents more than the fulfillment of the law. The, the spring festivals that the Jewish nation had celebrated for millennia— there was 4 festivals that they celebrated in the spring that Jesus Christ fulfilled perfectly in his second coming. He's fulfilling the fall festivals later on. And what you want to recognize is throughout this entire process, this entire capability of what Jesus did, is he did it for you. He did it for the sins that you've committed because he knew that no matter how good you were, no matter what the things you did after the fact, no matter how righteous you were, that every single thing that you accomplished was not going to be enough. He did it for me, and he's doing it for you. He knew that by accepting him as Lord and Savior and proclaiming it with your mouth, that you be saved. And it's an act of faith; it's an act of receiving him. When you do this, what it does is it takes all. All of the blessings that were a part and activated through his sacrifice, and they put them on you. That's the essence of what Easter does. That's the essence of Resurrection Sunday, because what it does is it allows your old person to die and a new one in Christ to rise in its place. That's the essence of what Resurrection Sunday is. That's the essence of Easter. And I want to dive into it a little bit more because it's going to unlock the very things God wants you to hear. And I'm going to prophesy over you so that you can receive it. Amen. receive it, to call your future into the present, to reveal your identity in Christ so that you can walk out in victory from faith to faith and glory to glory, the things that he wants you to do today and going forward. Now, Jesus Christ made it very clear in the scriptures that he came to give life and give life abundantly, that the blessing of Abraham belonged to the Christians through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The thing that Jesus Christ did on the cross is what happened was, is that through his lashes, you are healed. That's Isaiah 53. That when he bled out on the cross, that the blood of Christ became the eternal redeeming sacrifice for your sins. You don't need to say rosaries and all these other prayers over and over again. They're traditions and all these things that happen as a part of your walk. Purgatory— these are all falsehood perpetrated through religious ideologies in order to take away the power of what Resurrection Sunday did for you. The blood of Christ is is the only thing you need to atone for your mistakes, whether— regardless of the depth of those mistakes. Because Jesus, even through this, redeemed Paul, who exclaimed in scripture that he was the worst sinner of all. Think about that, that Paul exclaims that he's the worst sinner of all, and that yet you can look at yourself with the light that God looks at you, the vision, the glasses, the perception, and know that he loves you, to know that he cares for you, that no matter what you have done, done in the past that you may have thought disqualifies you from being in his presence and spending eternity with him was washed away, clobbered, and eliminated during that resurrection moment. Jesus Christ entered the tomb a dead man, unrecognizable by all that knew him. That's what it says in Isaiah. That's what happened. He was beaten so extremely bad That he didn't even look like a human being when he went into the tomb. And yet he came out a resurrected king with the keys of death and sin in his hand. It says that Jesus Christ has the power to lay down his life and to raise it back up, that the Holy Spirit participated in the resurrection, and that the Father did too. The triune God, these 3 persons who love you dearly, allowed Jesus to come to this place where he gave up his spirit. Remember, the cross didn't kill him. The lashes didn't kill him. Your sin didn't kill him. Jesus willingly gave up his spirit so that he could die for your sins, so that he could be buried. And in those 3 days that he then would allow the work of God to come to fulfillment on that, on Sunday morning, that Resurrection Sunday that allows him to come back to life in this perfect body that would be eternal and allow you to live in him and him to live through you in this world. That's the essence Of what the gospel is. It allows you to find hope where there is none, to find joy where there is none, to find peace where there is none, to receive the love that is there and always was surrounding you, to wrap you in God's arms, to show that he cares about you, that he sees you, that he's only literally one step away. That's the essence of who God is. That's the essence of who Jesus Christ is. That's what Resurrection Sunday brings to the forefront in this beautiful story. But it doesn't end there. It is also a mockery of all the things that the devil has done. The very thing the devil wanted to do became the very thing Jesus needed to happen in order for you to be set free. That all of these things that were set into motion when Adam and Eve sinned, that all of these things came about as a part of the prophecy that the Father spoke to Satan in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3, where he said that you will strike at the heel of the seed of the woman, but he will crush your head. And that prophecy meant that even though you strike the heel of that person, which was Jesus Christ, and he would die, his death blow would destroy his kingdom forever. And that's what happened. The kingdom of darkness fell and has never regained the power that it had, because the things that have been released since then is the power of the Holy Spirit, the fivefold ministry, the Acts church, which is still active and vibrant today, and all the things that God is doing in this world. Because Because of that one sacrifice that Jesus Christ did for the Father that redeemed sons and daughters for all of eternity. One death allowed all these children to be resurrected in him, to be able to live life out for all of eternity. That's the essence of what Jesus did on that Resurrection Sunday. That's what he did when he rose again from the dead. When he died on Passover, fulfilling the law at 3 PM in the afternoon when the high priest was also at the temple sacrificing— the one time that the high priest can go into the Holy of Holies— he was sacrificing the Passover lamb and then going into the Holy of Holies with the atonement for the nation for that year. Jesus died at that very moment in order for the atonement for the nation of Israel, the Gentile nation, to be received by the Father in fulfillment of everything that he had done. And that's the essence of what he did. That's the essence of what he did for you. He went in and died. And on that Saturday, that Holy Saturday, he descended into hell. And it says in scripture that he went and talked to the very angels, the fallen angels that were enchained, that tried to taint the bloodline before the flood, that tried to stop the things that were meant to happen. And he said basically, and I'm just paraphrasing here, that you couldn't stop me, that you could not stop the move of God. And then he led the captives free Into heaven, and if you even understand later that even as you look at the scriptures and it talks about how Satan accused him—at least this is my interpretation—that when Jesus led Abraham and those into heaven, that Satan accused him and said that you're sinful and that you cannot be here because of the sin of the world. And then the Holy Spirit and the angel that oversaw the proceedings said that this is the one that was plucked out of the fire, that he is holy and consecrated, that his blood is more than enough. When you understand the Old Testament scriptures, that point to this moment, you understand that God is greater and all these things have happened. It's a beautiful story that shows that your redemption is here and now, that you can receive this grace and this love and live out life in a dominant way from this day forward. It's not perfect, and those things will continue— things will continue to happen that you don't want to happen. And all Christians slip and fall and have to get up, because that's what it says in the Bible. The righteous will fall down 7 times, but they will always get up. A wicked man will fall and never return to his former glory. That's scripture. But I just want to encourage you today that this Resurrection Sunday, this Easter, is a time of joyous celebration to step into the fulfillment, to step into everything that Christ has for you, so that you could receive the blessings of Abraham, the blessings of Christ in your life, so that you can walk out life victoriously, that you could be healed of your infirmities, that you could smash the spirit of poverty from your life, that the bondages and the lies and the strongholds that have held you back could be washed away and discarded, and you can return and renew your mind with the word of God every single day, that you can walk out life in perfect love, in perfect joy, in perfect peace, that you can have the patience of Job and Christ. You can have the hope and the faith of these things, the faith of a mustard seed that moves mountains. All of those things are available for you today to be able to be victorious in the situation you're in, because all you need Is to accept Jesus, receive him in your heart, proclaim him with your mouth that he is your Lord, and then start to walk out the very things in the Bible. Change your life. Sit in his presence. Allow him to take on the yoke that you're carrying, because your yoke— when you're yoked with Christ, when Jesus gives you his yoke, it's light and easy to bear. Your yoke is too hard to bear, but his yoke is easy to bear. You can walk out life victoriously. That's the essence of Easter. That's the essence of Resurrection Sunday. That's what was prophesied back in Exodus when he said that we need to sacrifice the Passover lamb and to put the blood on the mantle, basically the doorpost of the doors, so that the, the angel of death will pass over you. That was pointing to Christ, that when you accept the Passover lamb that is Jesus Christ, the angel of death, when it comes to the Judgment Day, will pass over you. and you will come into God's rest for all of eternity and allow you to receive the fulfillment of the promises and the blessings that he has given you in order for you to walk out life in eternity in perfect peace and all victory.
