Hello everyone, I hope you're having a great day today. Holy Week, Friday, Jesus's death on the cross. So when we look back at the Old Testament, we see a lot of prophecies that point to the cross. We see over in Genesis that the sacrifice of Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah is a direct point to Jesus dying on the cross. We see the Exodus and the 10th plague where Pharaoh's firstborn and all the firstborn of Egypt are slaughtered, as well as the animals. We see that the— even in the context of the, the way they did the putting of the lamb's blood on the threshold of the door, the doorframe actually represents a cross. There's a lot of aspects that occur in the Old Testament that point And so I just wanted to call those specifically out on Good Friday as we honor our Lord and Savior for his death on the cross.
