Jesus revealed the secret to answered prayers in Matthew 6:6: go into a quiet room, shut the door, and pray privately every day. The speaker emphasizes that prayer works when you quiet your soul to hear God.
Did you know that Jesus gave us the number one secret for your prayers to be answered? In the first part of Matthew chapter 6, verse 6, it says, when you pray. This is indicating that we must do a daily act of prayer. The second part says, go into your room. You need to intentionally go to a quiet place to seek God. The next part says to shut the door behind you. This not only indicates that we need to physically separate ourselves from the crowd, but we need to quiet our soul in order to hear the Lord.
