How to Recognize God's Voice TODAY!

If you're not a member of this channel, please subscribe and share this video with a friend because this is going to knock your socks off and help break out a problem that a lot of Christians have said that they don't hear the voice of God. Recently put together a video that we launched a few weeks ago about the 3 different ways on how to hear God's voice. I want to create another follow-on video for an experience I just had with my wife that really kind of opened my eyes to the way God talks to his children. Because in John chapter 10, Jesus said, my sheep know my voice, they hear me, and therefore they follow me. And there's different versions and translations of that verse, but ultimately what it's saying is, is that Jesus speaks to the Christian and the Christian hears him and then operates this. Now we know a lot of the typical ways that God speaks to people— the Bible, through other people, through prophecy and revelation, in dreams and visions— but I want you to talk about I wanna talk about this one scenario that my wife experienced and then how it will lead you to start to understand the expressions of God as he speaks to you. A lot of people expect God to speak to you like I am today. You hear my voice and God hears your voice, and then there's a conversation and off you go. But with the Christian, that's not how it works. In reality is if you're hearing an audible voice from God, that means you don't have the Holy Spirit inside you and salvation is still A part of your future, but not yet part of your presence. And I know that may be difficult for some people to hear, but that's the truth. And the reality is, is as God speaks to you through the Holy Spirit, what happens is the Holy Spirit's on the inside, and then he expresses himself through the spirit person into your soul and into your body, and so that you can experience it. But what happens is, is people start to box God in and think that That God only has certain ways to communicate with me, but that's not how he works. He's an infinite God, which means he has infinite ways to communicate to you and with you or through you as a part of your walk. And I want to kind of explain a couple things so that you can start to recognize where God is talking to you, so that you can see him in all of his expressions, even if you can't hear the small gentle whisper in your mind. Now, what my wife started to realize is, is that she sat down and started to journal every single day the words God was speaking to her. But she didn't recognize the things that she was doing, because what happened was, is she had yielded herself to God. And even as she was asking questions but not necessarily getting answers, what happened in her journal is it turned into a story That God was speaking to her. So what she was doing was, as she was writing down questions and the scenario she was in, she would write down maybe how she was feeling emotionally, maybe things almost like a diary where things that may have happened, a part of her day. And then as a part of that conversation, what God highlighted to me was, look at the patterns of the words that are being used. Look at the number of lines per paragraph. Take those words and then recognize those numerical patterns and a apply them with biblical numerology, which is a thing. And he was telling her a story even as she was just asking him questions and may not actually hear from him. So I want to kind of encourage you, as you're journaling your time with God, as you sit in your quiet place and you start to write down these things, God can have you write questions down and then actually create a story through numbers that then get translated into an actual story that explains what's happening. He had Bible verses that were dropped in her spirit that then she wrote down, that then recognized the season she was in. What happened was is that she was trying to hear a small, still voice. She was trying to hear an audible voice that she can then write those words down. But God wasn't expressing himself that way to her. He was expressing himself through her actions that then— remember, because remember, this is what God says, is the glory of God to conceal a matter, it is the glory of kings to seek it out. So as she started to She was like, why are these pages look so different? Why are some paragraphs bigger and some less? But when she started counting the numbers, translating the numbers into words, it became a vibrant story. And what happened was, is what it was doing was even in the dates she was writing down in the journal corresponded to the Festival of Tabernacles. When you happen— if I remember correctly, it was October 23rd and 24th when she was writing these down. Those were the last 2 days of that festival. Which meant the Israelites were moving from the wilderness into the Promised Land. They were having a new major season. And when she started to study that the Bible verses attached itself to that release, that expansion into the new land, the numbers showed a combination of God, man, and a breaking free and of taking new territory. She started to correlate all these different situations, and it became this beautiful story that God said You're moving into a new season that will last your entire lifetime. Your wilderness season's over. You're now stepping into the promised land. That's part of how God speaks. If you wanna think about that from expressions in your own life, it could be basically letters or colors or symbols that you enjoy. My daughter, Kaitlyn, loves hearts, and what God does is he speaks to her in hearts. When she sees images, whether they're plants or even things on the ground, she'll see hearts everywhere. Everywhere, because God shows that even on the planet Pluto, it has a big heart on it. I mean, it's— if there isn't proof that that's a God, I don't know what is, because his expressions are boundless. God speaks to you through these different things. He's going to speak to you through songs. He's going to speak to you through people. He's going to speak to you through experiences, symbols, all these things. So as you're starting to walk this life out and start to search for how God is talking to you, remember, He's an unlimited God who has unlimited expressions. He can talk to you in all these different ways, showing you that he's always with you. I've seen it happen. It happened over time in my life, even on social media. If I'm going through a tough situation where I know I'm in a pressing season— and when that's when you're anointed, right? When you're anointed, the oil comes out, and oil comes out only through pressing. Like, that's how it works with olives. So you got Press the oil out. So there's a squeezing and it doesn't feel comfortable for the flesh. And when I go through those things, he's happily going to put on social media videos from people that I know, the people I trust, that talk about, hey, he's not going to give you a greater season than you can handle. You're not gonna go through a trial that you can't experience and therefore overcome, that everything is for your glory, that even though you're in the valley of shadow of death, you won't fear evil, that he prepares a table before your enemies, that he anoints your head with oil. oil. These are verses and things that'll just pop out in social media when I'm going through a tough time. That's God speaking to me. These are the expressions that God does. So I want to encourage you today that you do clearly hear from God, that there is no ambiguity. There's no way, because it's innately built inside of you, no different than a baby can innately understand his or her parents' voice. That's how they know that's their— that's his or her parents, is they know that that's them. And he knows them because it's God instilled it inside of them and inside of you. So just walk in confidence. Start to look beyond the voice. Start to look beyond the experiences of the Bible and see how God is expressively talking to you, expressively through nature. Maybe it's songs of birds in the morning. Maybe it's, maybe it's your daughter or son singing in the shower. Those things, watch those things bubble up in your spirit and come forth and see how God's talking to you, loving on you, and always with is there for you every single step of the way.
