I'm a son of God!

In this sermon, John Humenik argues that a believer’s true identity is defined solely by being a son or daughter of God, not by any worldly label such as gender pronouns, professional titles, or socioeconomic status. He grounds this claim in Scripture—citing Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 23, and other passages—to show that God knew each person before formation and intends them to live as royalty in His kingdom. Humenik critiques the world’s tendency to divide and label people, describing it as a strategy of “divide and conquer” that opposes the unity God desires. He then explains how adopting a kingdom mindset transforms everyday areas: work, finances, health, relationships, and mental well‑being, turning them into expressions of divine abundance rather than lack. The sermon also addresses spiritual warfare, warning that the devil seeks to lure believers into false identities and idolatry, but the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of Truth and Power, reveals misalignment and guides believers back to God’s will. Practical steps include studying the Bible, seeking the Holy Spirit’s direction, and living in contentment while pursuing God‑given visions. Finally, Humenik shares a vision for his ministry—to evangelize before the rapture and partner with 1,000 churches—inviting listeners to financially support the work via humenik.com/partner.

Hello, my name is John Humenik. Welcome to the video that's titled, I'm Not a He or a Him, I'm a Son of God. Today's video is going to be talking about identity, and we're going to be talking about the biblical narrative and the very things that— how God defines who you are in his kingdom and how you can walk out those truths in your life. When you see how the world lies to you and tries to bring their own form of identity to the equation, you'll start to understand that that's not who you are. That's not who you're called to be. It doesn't matter how you were born. It doesn't matter how you were raised. It doesn't even matter your background, your financial status, your race, or anything else. That what we'll show you today is your identity is a son of God or a daughter of the King, and that's who you are, and that's who you always will always be. And no matter what situation that's facing you, you You can always turn to the face of Jesus and know that you are redeemed and saved and that you are precious in the Father's sight. And at this very same time, you will be considered royalty and operate from a kingdom mindset going forward. Now, identity has been a problem for many, many generations for people, especially throughout the United States. The United States, for those who don't live here, is a melting pot of all forms of generations, nationalities, background, races, all forms of economic structures and beyond. The United States has as much diversity in the country as any country in the entire world. And because of that, what you see is a lot of aspects of people being identified as a certain subgroup within the context of a larger nation. You can see that even in the sense of the states that the United States has, whether that's their economic status, whether you're rich, middle class, class or poor, whether you are operating on government assistance, welfare, if you're an independent entrepreneur. It also goes into aspects of race and all kinds of things. So stick with me on this video because I want to set you totally free to understand why the only title you should carry is a son of God or daughter of the King, period. There is no other title that you should go by because it is God who gets to define the creation, which is you. So let's hop into the Scriptures. So we see in Jeremiah 29:11 that God said, I knew you before I formed you. This is a really important verse because I want to kick this video off on this topic because of the one statement, the word knew. When you understand the word knew in the ancient Hebrew, it's the same word that Adam knew God and God knew Adam. It's intimate. It means that there is no barrier between the father and the son, or the father and the daughter. There's no personality that sits on top that tries to mask things. It is exactly who you are through and through. God knew you before he formed you. He had plans of a hope and plans to make you prosper, not to harm you and not to do anything that would be negative or things. A lot of people see this and don't understand the depth of the knowing, because God knew you intimately before you were even conceived. Think about that statement. Before you were in your mother's womb, God knew exactly the person you would become. He knew the giftings that they would— he would put inside of you, and all the things that you would go out and try to accomplish for his kingdom. That's an amazing statement, because at the end of the day He's the one that gets to define who you are. So stick with me. It's really important to understand this because the world wants to label us by all forms of different structures and demographics. What you see the world doing very consistently is it tries to divide and then subtract. So what it does is it separates. It's divide and conquer, if you're familiar with military terms. So you'll see things— if you're in a town, you'll grow up and say, for example, you're in high school And you have a crosstown rivalry. That's something that allows people to be divided and then ultimately conquered. And you might think, well, that's a trivial thing. There's college football that does that. All forms of sports do that. It's a part of the culture. But the reality is that that's not the culture of the kingdom. That's not how God designed you. That's not what God called you. God called all of us to be in unity. And so when we operate under the concepts of unity, then you'll start to unpack all the different things that God has for you. So stick with me and watch this whole video because this is going to Set people totally free. Now, a lot of people like to focus on pronouns and different things to put in front of their name. Now, you'll also see that people will even put biblical titles like apostle and prophet, evangelist. You'll see other people will put PhD, doctorate, all kinds of different things. In my work, that is something that even I, as I've gone through my journey with God, that I have not yet felt grace to put even a title there. And every time asked me, well, what do you go by? I said, I'm a son of God. That's how I want to be defined. I want to be identified as a son of the king. Please listen to this. This is so important because this is going to help break the bondages that the world puts on you. If you operate in any form of title in front of your name, and that's how you identify yourself, that is your idol, and that's the reality of it. And that may be hard to swallow, but God says in the Bible, do not put any idols before me. That's really the, the part of the first set of the Ten Commandments is all about idolatry and all about reverence of God and respecting his name. And it's so important to understand those particular things because God sees you differently. Why is that important? Why do you think this matters? Because whenever you're out of the will of God and you start to operate in your choices, in your flesh, and you want to take control of your identity, what happens is everything that is in your being will now shift. And what will happen is, is you'll start to run into problems in your life, and you'll be in a situation where you will be misaligned, and you'll start to struggle. You'll have pain, you'll have anxiety, you'll have worry, you'll have trepidation. You'll be in a space where you're trying to be something you're not. Maybe you're striving for something. Maybe you're trying to become something God doesn't want you to become. Maybe you're trying to become something your parents want to become. That, that may be a difficult thing for people to grasp, but at the end of the day, God defines who you are, your giftings, and the path for your future. And you get to walk that along and walk that in Hand in hand with the Holy Spirit and in Jesus. So listen to me, this is so important because as your identity is aligned with God in the word of God, you start to recognize that, oh, you're seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You operate from abundance. You don't operate from lack, that you operate from a position that you should never be sick and that you should never be stressed and that you shouldn't be bound by any form of demonic forces and that you shouldn't be broke. This is the truth. These are the biblical perspectives on a son or a daughter of the King. It's so important because that's who God made you to be. And I know that may be difficult for some people to grasp because you may be not in that situation. If not, everyone that watches this video maybe find that I have some problem on my life that I am trying to overcome. And that's okay, because God's got grace for you. God's got the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of power, and that's his first title. You think about this when you start to identify who God is. God identifies by titles because we— it's hard for us to grasp who the King of the universe is and how he'll operate. And think about this, that one of the very first things that's talked about of the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and a Spirit of Power. That is before he's described as the Spirit of Love. Think about that. Love is one of the most predominant themes in the entire Bible. The Bible is a love story to us. And when you think about that, and yet he describes his Spirit as Spirit of Truth and a Spirit of Power before he describes it as a Spirit of Love, that should put some perspective of who the Holy Spirit's identity is in our life. Because what the Holy Spirit does is bring truth. He brings the truth to break down the lies that the world wants to put on you and to describe you. You see this in this current month where they have All these different descriptions, all these different pronouns, all these different aspects that want to identify people with something they're not. When you get to understand the source of those things, you start to recognize that the source of those things are those very things. So what the devil wants to do with his army is he wants you to identify with him. He wants you to identify with gender-neutral terms. He wants to identify with things that you get to choose and how you want to operate. with your giftings. But guess what? That's not how God created you. God created you to be a part of the kingdom. He created you to rule. He created you to dominate. He created you to be a king's kid. Think about that. A citizen of heaven. Stick with me on this because this is gonna really set you free. Because when you operate in a kingdom mindset and you operate with your mind set in the heavens, and you're thinking to yourself, okay, this is how the king should operate. Because I'm a representative of him, you will start to walk out life in a very different way. You won't speak anything over yourself. You won't say that you're broke. You won't say that you're suffering. That you won't say that it's okay to be sick, that it's okay to have problems in your body, that it's okay to have problems in emotional state with your heart, or it's okay to have problems in your mind, or it's okay to have problems with your wallet. It's okay to have problems. In your family and in your community and into the things that you're doing. God wants you to be totally set free completely, but it starts with identity. It starts— who do you identify with? Do you identify with the King who wants to set you free, who wants you to live life and life abundantly? Or do you operate with the person who wants to pull you into bondage, consistently lie to you, and all he wants to do is divide and subtract, which ultimately leads to destruction? That's who God wants you to understand, that when you are operating in these mindsets, who you think you belong to matters. That's really important. Trust me, listen to this. This is so important because it will set you free in a way that you may have not thought possible. When you operate as a son of God, as a daughter of God, you are operating from a position of power and authority That the devil doesn't want you to operate from. It's very clear because when you operate from a kingdom mindset, you operate from a place of victory. Think about this example. For example, when you come into this situation, if you're going out there looking for a new job and you're trying to go out there and find a place that will pay you well in this economy, it's difficult because we have this huge shift back to the offices. So all the salaries that were pre-pandemic have now been completely deflated and put back to where they were about 4 years ago. Which is then when you look at all the costs that have increased, what happens is the world squishes your income. Think about this. All of the inflation has driven up gas and utilities and food and clothing and all the expenses that go with it. But wages have dropped dramatically to the point where it's rolling back 4 or 5 years worth of gains and putting people in a bad position. So you can go about your business and say, okay, I can accept the job offers that there are out there for me. I can accept the opportunities there. Or as a king's kid, I can declare that I'm going to receive just pay because the worker is worth his wages. That's what the Bible says. The Bible says that you're worth your wages. So whenever you operate in ministry, it says in ministry that ministers are supposed to be paid highly, even more so than entrepreneurs. So why are pastors— why are people that are operating in churches operating from lack? Why are they always operating from what they brought in from tithes and offerings into their church? Because they've settled for less. They've not settled for the things that God has for them. When you understand that godliness attached to contentment, right, contentment with godliness is great gain, it's so important for you to understand that. When you understand, then contentment comes With being satisfied with where you're at in your season. But also the thing about contentment is, is, is you don't compromise. It's not about compromise. When you're content, that does not mean that you've settled for less. What you've done is you've accepted your situation and you've received what God has had for you, but you recognize that future seasons require growth. God's kingdom is always forward and up. When your identity is attached to the kingdom, When your identity is attached that I'm a citizen of heaven, that I'm a son of the king, I'm a daughter of the king, that my brother Jesus Christ is seated in heavenly places and I'm seated in him, that I don't have to get off the throne to slap a peasant. I don't have to deal with the problems of the day. I don't have to toil with the issues that are going out there. I don't have to chase finances. I don't have to chase wealth. I don't have to chase clothes. I don't have to chase shelter. I don't have to chase things. All I have to be is about my Father's business and his righteousness, and all of these things get added to me. When you identify with the King of the universe— hear me on this, because this will break you of every single bondage in your entire life— when you operate from a kingdom mindset, when you operate from a kingdom mindset, what you are starting to recognize is, is that you don't have to toil for the things God gives you because they're already on So what does that mean and how does that become a practical answer for you? Let's go back to the example that we talked about earlier when we talked about you got a job that's now paying pre-pandemic wages, but you're caught in a post-pandemic world. So you have these expenses that have grown in, in the, the coming years. So you've had your costs go up, you've had your rent go up, maybe your mortgage. You have maybe more car payments. You're living in a society that gas costs more expensive than it did 4 years ago. You have a situation where maybe food's more expensive, clothes are more expensive, whatever the case may be. What you're dealing with is you're now dealing with a situation where you're saying, okay, I've actually taken a step back. Now you think about this, in God's kingdom, there is no step back. This is the powerful nature of the identity in Christ and who you are and why you need to identify as a, a son of God or a daughter of God. This is so important because what God does. is what he'll do is he'll use those moments that you think you've regressed in order for you to move forward. And he does that because he wants you to steward the one talent or the two talent that's in front of you. He wants you to take the job that you have, and he wants you to work diligently at it as if you're working directly for him. When he does that, what it does is it sets the stage for him to do something amazing. Because remember, Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:33 talks about this, is that God sends you things that you don't have to chase those things. But what you're doing is you're about his business and you're walking along the path, and it's as if someone is walking along the path with you and dropping off money, dropping off clothes, dropping off housing along the way, and you just pick it up and you keep going. That's what I want you to talk— I want to talk to you about. Catch this because this is going to set you free and truly put you in a place where you will go from glory to glory and faith to faith because your identity is seated in the King of Kings. Because when he gives you a vision, he always gives people an opportunity to understand how they're working towards the future. He gives you a vision. Habakkuk 2:2, it says, write the vision down, make it plain so that a herald may run with it, or a messenger may run with it. Well, it has to be clear. But the thing that a lot of people miss is That you cannot accomplish the vision by yourself. It's impossible. You can try to, but ultimately, more so than not, is you may be the person that gets it started, but you have to bring people on. And then you have this concept of mighty men and mighty women where you then mentor them and they help take on work and you grow and replicate and then continue to, to move forward. That's the essence of a vision. But God puts it in a person to steward the work that's in front of them. But you also have to understand. Even if you are ready to take the next step, even if you're ready to move into the new season, you've done everything God has asked you to do. You've identified with him. You've stewarded the things you want to steward. Listen to this. This is so important. The people that you need to keep going may not be ready. That's the important aspect. Even when you are ready, even when you think you've gotten to the place where you need to be, that does not mean that the people around you are ready to join. That's so important. Catch this, because this is when you identify as a king's kid, a citizen of heaven. You'll start to understand that God needs unity. He needs a group of people to act out a vision, and that's how you can carry things forward. When you start to walk in godly contentment and you are being about your Father's business and you are not trying to birth anything early and you're focused on the things that God wants you to focus on, You have healing at your disposal at all times. You have freedom in your mind and in your spirit and in your soul. This is so important because there are so many people that are tormented mentally and physically that they struggle with all kinds of bondages and stresses. They're on drugs. Think about the number of people that are on antidepressants or any form of medication to help them compensate with the things that they're dealing with. And that number is just dramatic when you start to understand the depth of what God wants to set you free from, he can do that very quickly, very easily, restore you to the back the way he had originally created you. Let's go back. Jeremiah 29:11, he says he knew you when he formed you. Think about this. The world wants you off that path. When the world moves you into a position where you choose pride, where you choose an identity, where you choose A pronoun, where you choose something that's not aligned with God's word, what you're doing is, is you're moving out of God's grace. You're moving out of his protection. You're moving out of his sphere of influence. And so guess what happens? The devil can come and attack you. There's so many people— think about the people that struggle with all forms of identity, and especially in this month. Look at them physically. Almost all of them, all of them exclusively, it's incredible, are— have some form of physical illness. You can see it. You can see it in their face, in their bodies, in their hair, in their countenance, in their words, in their emotion. They're broken across the board because what they've done is they've moved themselves out of God's protection and put themselves and exposed themselves to attacks. And what they do is, is they continue to stay in that space where they think this is the right place, but God wants to move them back and to redeem them, restore them, and put them back in their place. Where they belong. Listen to me, because if you're caught in this situation, this is going to set you totally free. Because in the kingdom of God, there is no sickness. There is none. When you're a citizen of heaven, you may be sick, but that's only temporary. That— and again, that sickness may last a little while, it may potentially even last years, but it's not a lifetime. It will eventually break, and it'll become a major testimony for you, and possibly even turn you into a faith healer that then allows other people to be healed Through your testimony and the laying on of hands. That's the power of who God is. God will allow you to walk outside his will to show you the despair and the darkness and the pain and the suffering, to show you that where he's at is good and that you can be a living example to others. So your time— this is so important, catch this— that your time outside of God is never Wasted. It's never wasted. Every single moment of your life is an acceptance of who God is, is an acceptance of who God wants you to be, whether you come into agreement or not. But God can use anything in your past in order to propel you into the future. That's the power of identity. That's the power of understanding that you're a son of God, that you are a daughter of God, that you are— you sit at the king's table. I remember recently I had a chance to go out to lunch with some very well-renowned people, and I got a chance to sit down at the lunch. It was a very long lunch table, lots of people were there. I decided I'm going to go ahead and sit at the end, so that's where I sat. And at the head of the table, he said, no, you have a respected spot, come and sit next to me. And so that's what he did. The Bible says when you take a seat of lowliness, God will then promote you into a position of power and authority. Had I taken that power, taken that spot of position of power authority, the other people who were actually higher up in the group that we work with would have said, no, you know what, you got to move, you got to set yourself aside and move them. And that actually happened to a couple people that were at that table. They had to get moved aside to make room for the new people. And so when you see how God promotes you through humility, through respect, through understanding of who you are, You then get what you want because God already knows it. He deposited in you; he deposited the needs inside you. He deposited the wants that he wants you to have, and you operate towards those. It's whenever you try to veer yourself off and try to birth those very things in your life through a false identity, which is where then you will struggle, and you will ultimately in the flesh you may accomplish some of it, but ultimately it will be birthed. Malformed, and it will never truly satisfy you. And you will constantly be seeking the things of the world, trying to find some form of satisfaction. And that's not how the kingdom works. The kingdom works from peace. It works from a place of perfect peace. It talks about shalom shalom, which means perfect peace, which means every part of your life is at peace— your mind, your heart, your body, your relationships, your finances, everything's at peace. Your identity in Christ, your identity as a son of God, your identity as a daughter of God, the daughter of the King, allows you to operate from a position of power and authority at all times. It gives you a spirit of faith. It gives you a spirit of excellence. It gives you a spirit of hope so that you, as you go forward, you recognize that today is a great day and every day is a great day. And that tomorrow will be better because you will be able to go out and do the work that you need to do, or just rest, take it all in, and recharge for the days ahead. That's the power of identity. That's the power of the things of this world that try to pull you off. What people don't recognize is, is that they want people to be free to choose what they want to do. And reality is God is the one who operated in that. He's the one who allowed free will to come to pass, but he also puts tests in front of us to make sure that we're on the path that he wants us to be. Because otherwise, free will doesn't exist if there is no test in order to validate whether you have been able to choose it. Because there's a structure in the kingdom of God, and there's a path forward. And when you operate in free will, you have to operate under the guidelines that God wants you to operate Otherwise you get shifted off the road and you're in a ditch and now you're struggling. I want people to recognize this. I want people to see that if your life is lacking in any way, shape, or form, more than likely you have not surrendered that part of your life to God. And I know that may be a cliché for some of you. You may have heard that over and over again, but it's real. You should need— you need to search yourself out and say, what have I identified myself with? What title have I put over myself? What position of authority do I think that I belong in that I'm not ready for, that I have birthed early or birthed intentionally that isn't aligned with the word of God? There's so many aspects of your life that can be the case. It could be your identity. It could be your partner. It could be your relationships. It could be your work. It could be your school. It even could be your parents. You can identify with your parents. Vision. But if that's not your own, guess what? That becomes an idol. And that's a powerful statement. But people want to live vicariously through their children because they're like, hey, I didn't have the childhood that they're having, let me live through them. No, that's not— that's, again, that's an idol. God wants you to live the life that he has ordained for you. He wants you to walk things out in obedience because the path, the giftings, the talents And the opportunities that are in front of you belong to you and you alone. It's not something that you can kind of force or push, because what happens is, is it becomes a problem. Even if your child is heavily gifted in sports, guess what? That's their life. Let them choose the things that they need to choose so that they can be successful in the things God has for them. You would be surprised how many sports athletes That go and grow at a young age end up leaving and getting burnt out in their teenage years because their parents push them too hard, and/or they just can't handle the pressure. Or God's like saying, hey, you've learned enough in this season. That's good. Go. You, you've achieved everything you need to achieve, and now I'm breaking you out, and you're going to take those very same principles that you learned at the— on the field, the, the work ethic, the team, the being disciplined, having a coach and listening to coach, and he'll take those and apply them to your real world, and you will be shocked when you understand what an elite sports team operates— that operates almost identically to the kingdom of God. It's amazing. Think about this. I had my daughters in elite sports for many, many years. We traveled all over the country, and what you start to see is you start to understand there's one leader in that entire group. There's one head coach that sits above everyone. That head coach is responsible for all the other coaches that are on that team. It doesn't matter what sport they're in. That head coach is in charge. That head coach then trains and educates and puts in positions and power and authority all the other leaders in order to train the specific parts of the team. Whether if it's a football team, you have offense and defense. If it's a soccer team, it's different positional play. At the end of the day, there's a structure and there's a, there's a basically a coaching structure and a mentorship structure a training structure that moves the team forward. There's practices and there's work. Now apply that to the kingdom of God. There's one king, there's one ruler over all, and he then creates and creates and educates other people in your life, mentors and teachers that help build you up, and then creates a structure around you, a team in which you can operate and go about your Father's business. It's exactly the same thing. So when you identify with God's kingdom, what you understand is, is that when you deal with God's kingdom, it is all about the daily work. It is not, believe it or not, it's not about the destination. The reality is, is many people will know the destination because that's the vision. But the reality is, is all the aspects are in the daily work, and that work allows you to operate in success day in and day out. Here's a perfect example of this, of how your identity Makes the difference. It ultimately becomes life or death. Look at the situation with Goliath. There he is, uh, on the hill taunting the, uh, Israelite army day and then night for 40 days. He's taunting, gets up in the morning, tries to strike terror in them so it ruins their day. He gets up at twilight, which is usually the evening. He gets up, terrorizes them so they can't sleep. And he does that for 40 days. And eventually David comes along and says, who's uncircumcised Philistine who is tormenting God's people and speaking ill of the Lord God. And he says, let me take care of him. Now, when you understand that David was ultimately around 15 or 16 years old, give or take a few years, and we don't really know physically how big he was, but we know Goliath was physically a giant, possibly a descendant of the Nephilim in some form. But reality, we know, ultimately medically It was he most likely had a pituitary gland issue which allowed him to grow. That's really ultimately because he was partially blind. And if you read the scriptures, he had to consistently be led out by his armor bearer because he couldn't see, which when you understand the current medical situation with people that get really bad big, they could call that gigantism. That's ultimately what we had, but then they described it as something else in the Bible. But that doesn't necessarily change the situation because David knew that he could defeat him. And why did David know that? How did David know that he was going to win? It was because of the same principles that the sports teams had, is that victory comes in doing the little things and the little practices day in and day out. You cannot be victorious on game day unless you've put in the practice time on the weekdays when no one is watching. God will test you in what you are doing on a day-to-day basis, how you're stewarding your life and private because he can't make it public until he knows you're ready. That's the essence of identity. David knew his identity was rooted in God. He knew that when he faced the bear, that he defeated the bear. When he faced the lion, he defeated the lion. And if you understand, if you go back and read the scriptures, David was so sure of his identity in God that he took the lion by the mane and struck it down. So we're not talking about David using a slingshot against the lion. No, David was in striking distance of the lion's paws and jaws and still had no fear. That's how sure he was as his identity in the king, because he had been battle-tested on his father's shepherding fields, so that when he test— when he stepped onto the field that meant the difference between life and death for him in the kingdom of Israel, he was ready to move forward. He sure of his identity because he had been battle-tested and trained in private when no one was watching him. And think about this, look at it from the perspective— when Samuel came to crown the new king, none of his brothers were with him. They had left him alone with the flocks. I'm sure that was a common thing. This is not something that just randomly happens, because more than likely it was something that they were doing, that David was identifying with God His shepherd, his king. And we ultimately get Psalm 23. It talks about this: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul, and he makes me walk in the path of his righteousness for his sake. And it talks about the shadow of the valley of death, the table before his enemies. It talks about that he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. And that his goodness chases him everywhere he goes. When you understand that David identified as a son of God, that his victory was always placed in that identity, there was nothing he could face that would allow him to think, oh, I'm going to be defeated at this moment in time, that, oh, I'm going to lose this battle. No, his identity was victory because he operated from a kingdom mindset. That's the difference between the world and the kingdom. The world's identity is always fear and defeat. Always. It's always division and subtraction. Always. Look at every single news station. Go ahead, pull up MSNBC, pull up CNN, even pull up Fox News. It doesn't even matter. Pull up rt.com, the Russian news. Pull up Al Jazeera, the Middle Eastern news. Look at all the news. And look at the theme of almost every single news article. There's always some form of fear or some form of catchy thing that tries to grab you and say, oh, what's going on? I need to know. Well, the reality is, is they can't sell hope because hope doesn't drive ratings. It doesn't drive clicks because people like to have their itchy ears tickled. That's what the Bible says, that they're, that they're drawn towards things that they're currently caught in. Confirmation bias— that's the essence of politics, is confirmation bias is the, the core in which politics operates. It's the core in which marketing operates to try to drive people to things that they want them to buy on impulse or otherwise. Because people's identity— this is going to be so important, so listen to this— the people's identity are not rooted in strength. They're not rooted in hope. They're not Rooted in peace. They're not rooted in love. That's why perfect love casts out all fear, because when you operate in perfect love, all the fear has to go because there's no place for it. It's like light and darkness. Imagine you walk into a room that has the lights out, you flip on the switch and nothing happens. You'd be like, whoa, what's going on here? There's got to be a problem. Well, maybe your first response is, is let me continue flicking the switch and see if anything changes. Well, maybe let's guess what? Let's say that it doesn't work and you go to your circuit breaker and you start toggling the different switches and you're like, okay, there doesn't seem to be a fuse broken or anything blown. Everything seems in order. I don't smell smoke. Nothing's dangerous. And so you go back into the room and you're like, hmm, what could be the problem? So then the next, you know, usual course of steps is, is you will go ahead and change the light bulb. The moment you find the source of your problem and you flip the switch, all the darkness That's the essence of what God does for you in your life. When you're operating in a kingdom mindset, identifying with the King of Kings, you will get to the root of the problem. And the moment you turn on that light switch, every single thing that was attached to that problem will flee and disappear instantly. That's the power of identity. That's the power of what God wants to do in your life, because the moment you discover the truth, You discover that love casts out all fear, that you can be anchored on the cornerstone that is Jesus Christ, that the Bible, every single thing in the Bible, is true, and that when you align your truths with the biblical truths, you stand on a foundation that can never be shaken. It doesn't matter how bad the waters are, how bad they're beating against the rock, that you continue to ride through the storms of life continually knowing and hopefully expecting greatness ahead of you. You will never be defeated. All the problems that you have associated with a lie that you believe with your identity get erased and never come back. And again, some of those things can take time to get displaced because you may have aspects of mindset and things that you may have to work your way through. There may be situations that you have to improve— your physical situation, your financial situation. Some things take time to improve. But you have to listen, listen to me on this. This is so important. Your identity is core to who you are. And when you understand that that's what the devil wants to rob of you, and that's the very thing God wants to give you, and when you recognize that everything branches off of that, you will truly understand why this month is so truly evil, and that everything God does is what to drive you and set you free. Because imagine what it's like if you were a child that grew up with parents that did whatever they wanted. They drank, they partied, they went into debt, they had trouble, and they were never there for you. You would never want to do any of the things that they did. You would want to live a life of victory and of confidence because of all the pain that came with it. That's why you see a lot of cases— there's really 2 types of people that grow up in the world: people that become their parents and people that become the opposite of their parents. And ultimately, that's what you see. You see people, if their parents are alcoholics, one of two things happen. One, they become alcoholics themselves, or two, they never touch it ever again. And that there's very rarely an in-between. So the identity is the same thing. When you start to see that people that identify with the world and the systems of the world, the lies that they speak, that, oh, this summer is going to be the hottest summer ever. And oh, the polar ice caps are melting, and that there's less polar bears in the world, and that all these species are going extinct because the Amazon rainforest continues to be cut down, and all these lies the world wants to fill you. It doesn't even matter if what they're saying is 99% true, because there are probably aspects that are true. But at the end of the day, that 1% is what deviates you from the will of God. It allows you to identify with something that's not aligned with him. And puts you in a place where the devil can go to work on you. And even though you may not realize it, and sometimes those deceptions are so great, many people go to the grave and never even realize it. In fact, they don't even realize it until they're going to stand before Jesus and he explains it to them that they were totally wrong in the first place. And that is a very difficult place to be. And that's why this livestream, this video is so important for you to understand, because you don't want to be standing before Christ in a position of compromise. You don't want to be standing in the position of Christ and saying, I didn't do what I should have done. You want to be able to say boldly— you want to come boldly before the throne of grace because you identify as a king's son. That's the thing, is you want to come boldly before the throne. This is incredible statement. This is the King of the Universe we're talking about. He doesn't say angels come boldly before the throne of grace. He says the sons and daughters of the King come boldly before the throne of grace. And you stand before him in confidence that you have done the things he has asked you, both in and out of the body. Whether you were dreaming, whether you were sleeping, whether it was in your thoughts, whether it was in your words, your emotions, you can confidently stand before Jesus Christ and say, yes, did I get everyone? You can go up to him and say, did everyone that I set out to save get saved? You can have boldness and confidence like that. And rather, I mean, think about this. Imagine if you're staying today And you're saying, how can I operate like this? How can I be in this position where I'm, I'm today caught in this whirlwind of just identity issues and I'm caught in lies? And even the person I'm living with has been a bondage on my life. And you need to reset. Well, there's so many ways to get started, but at the end of the day, it's all about identifying yourself with the King of the universe, that you're a citizen of heaven, that you belong as A king's son. You belong as a king's daughter. The Holy Spirit is more intelligent than you could ever imagine, and he will guide you step by step in what you need to do. If you have to move out, if you have to kick your partner out, if you have to be able to get a new job, if you have to separate yourself from family— because believe it or not, family can be potentially the worst deterrent as it comes to, you know, moving forward in your life, because they're the ones that closest to you. And even Jesus's family outside of his mom, because his dad died at some point in his journey, even before his ministry. His own son— his— Jesus's only brothers and sisters did not believe he was the Messiah. It was only after he died and was resurrected that they came into that position and realization, like, oh my goodness, my oldest brother, who was the firstborn of Mary— because that's what it says in the Bible, that Jesus was the firstborn, which meant there were more children after that. And Joseph knew Mary. So all the lies that you may have had that she stayed a virgin her whole life, they're completely debunked in scripture. You can realize that, oh my goodness, that James ascended, that Jude ascended, that all these people ascended in positions of power after they realized who Jesus was, that their identity was attached to their big brother, and that set them free. When you do that, you will be able to walk out every single difficult situation until you're put in a position where you can Thrive and grow. Believe it or not, that thriving and growing can start on day one because the— just the mindsets alone will set you free and drop off the baggage that you're carrying. I can't tell you enough, when people walk in obedience and walk in humility and walk in surrender, the power and the freeing nature that that brings them. Because it's burdens. It's no different than literally wearing a flak jacket that weighs 100 pounds and taking it off. They don't even realize they're carrying it. That alone is a huge step forward. When you identify with the very things that God has on your life— if he wants you to be a doctor but maybe you're a lawyer, maybe he wants you to be a missionary but you're actually an apostle and you want to focus on building churches, but rather he wants you to go out into the field— when you align with the things that God wants you to align, you will thrive in ways that are just incredible. But the reality is, is that The devil will tempt you with God's stuff to get you to do something that you don't belong to. Are you a pastor that moved to the United States because you wanted to have a better life for your kids, but your grace was back in your homeland and you should have been operating there? And you've been— and you blindly went forward because you had pride in your heart, because you wanted to build a new life in the United States for your children. But God's like, no, their life was back home because I needed them there. And everything that they had, the provision and the grace, were back in your home country. I can't tell you enough of how I've seen that happen. I've seen leaders not steward the word of God in their life because of pride, because they've chosen not to do the things that they were supposed to do, because they put human rules in front of things and they've said these are the things that apply. Don't allow these things to block your identity in Christ. Now you're probably thinking this is a It's a broad conversation, but the reality is, is that when you identify with Christ, these are the things that break off of you because those are the things that sprout out from disobedience. They sprout out from being something who you're not. When you operate in leadership, you have to operate under the graces that God gives you. Stay in the space of peace. Stay in the space of faith where you are always victorious. Your identity is there. The provision is there. The hope is there. The healing is there. The finances are there. All the things you need are there. That's what identity— that's why the core— that's why this channel is one of the core tenets, is the identity in Christ. Because when you have and you understand that your identity in Christ is tied to almost everything short of salvation, almost everything post-salvation you possibly have, pretty much, I mean, potentially all of then you'll understand that it's a core concept that who you identify with, the titles you carry, the people you associate with, the things that you do, the, the areas that you choose to do, whether graced or not, completely will either guide your life into complete success or take you off and ruin. And the reality is, is that there is really only 2 choices. There is— there is a degree of the permissible will of God, but again, that's still a rocky road that you could potentially be a part of, but God will grace you for because it's still under the permissible side. But when you— the moment you step outside his will, it ultimately leads to destruction in every single situation. And you may not realize it at the time because it may be deception, it may be something that you don't understand, or you may not have fully expressed or seen or captured. And you may think you're doing the right things, but the Holy Spirit will tell you if you ask him today, am I outside of God's will? What part of my life is outside of God's will? Where have I put my identity in a place where it doesn't belong and therefore have put myself and compromised myself and my family, my friends, my community, my church? He'll tell you. He'll tell you every place that you're out of alignment. He'll tell you because he wants you to be back in alignment and restore you to those places where you can operate from a kingdom mindset, where you can operate from victory. Because when you operate in those places, you identify as a son of God, you identify as a daughter of the King. You can never be defeated ever because you are walking in the path that leads to life. It is the word. The word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. That's what the word does, is it illuminates where you're going. But remember, this is the key part that I talked about earlier: your vision. Habakkuk 2:2, write it down, make it plain so someone can run with it. The vision is the end. It will come to pass. You just have to be patient for it, okay? Because whether it's you or something else that needs to get ready, God's getting it ready. So even if you're ready and you're ready to take this step forward, everything else may not be ready. So you have to stay In godly contentment. This is really key. So as you're walking out your vision, you have the word of God, which is a lamp, but the lamp is not a spotlight, okay? It's not a beacon. It's not a lighthouse. It's a candlelight. So you're walking through this path in total darkness, and all you can do is take a couple steps of faith at a time. That's the— that is what it is. It's like seeing your vision and the destination off in the distance, almost like a light on a hill. And all you're doing is you have a candle and you're walking it out. That's what identifying with Jesus Christ is all about, because what he does is he takes you step by step by step on this path, refining you, growing you, getting things ready, preparing you, getting provision ready, getting healing ready, getting all the things you need in order to walk out life properly. He does it step by step by step. Some things come radical, some things come through miracles, And they happen overnight because they become testimonies and we can glorify God. But believe it or not, as you're walking this life out, you're going to see miracles, signs, and wonders. That's the reality, because it is— Christianity is, uh, and the church is the spirit of power. That's who the Holy Spirit is. He's the spirit of truth and the spirit of power. When you understand that victory is always in front of you, that you never can be defeated, it doesn't matter what it looks like in the You identify as the king, king's kid, and you're like, hey, I'm a citizen of heaven. There is no such thing as defeat. It may not look good right now, but in the end I'm going to be victorious because I can see, I can see the light on the hill. I can get there. And believe it or not, before you realize it, when you identify with all those things, when you identify with your proper kingship, your proper, your proper Lord, your proper royalty, all those things, when God allows you to ascend the mountain It will be a quick ascension. You'll get your— you'll reach and achieve the vision. He'll set another one before you, or you'll be able to meet him in heaven. He'll say, good and faithful servant, well done. It'll be such an amazing thing because he will always know where you need to be in your life. He will always know where you're misaligned. He will always know when you're veering off, whether by accident, by deception, or by choice. He knows those things. He knows where your identity is not in the right place. He knows when you've chosen a path that is not correct. He knows those things. All you have to do is come humbly, boldly before the throne of grace and ask him, Father, show me where I'm misaligned today. Guide me into the right alignment. Keep doing it, because when you get into the perfect will of the Father and you are in the flow of the Holy Spirit, I can tell you right now, everything Everything comes to you definitively. I'm telling you right now, I've lived it, I've seen it. I can tell you with, with certainty that that is the case. When you walk God's life out for you on your life and you never compromise and you choose all the things God wants you to choose, you will have peace that passes all understanding. It will never leave you. It doesn't matter what the devil tries to do. It doesn't matter who the devil sends into your life. It doesn't matter your financial situation. It doesn't matter the things that you're struggling with. It doesn't matter your physical situation, whether you're sick in bed and you can't get out of bed. If you've fallen, you can't get up. It doesn't matter because you know that you are victorious and every single step forward is always forward and up. And in the end, when you look at yourself month over month, quarter over quarter, year over year, You will not even recognize yourself after a few years. After 10 years, you'll be completely unrecognizable. I can imagine— think about this from the perspective of Moses. He got a chance to leave Egypt when he was 40. He spent 40 years in the wilderness by himself raising his father-in-law's flocks. Then God brought him back to Egypt, pulled the, the Israelites out, and then spent another 40 years in the, uh, the wilderness. And so Moses had multiple wilderness periods in his life. And at the end, it said that his eyes had not dimmed and his strength had not left him. This is a man that's 120 years old who is probably legitimately as strong and as healthy as a 20-year-old. And why is that? Why was Moses in that position in his life? Very simple. He spent, he spent time and time and more time in the presence of God. And in the presence of God, all of these things I've talked About every single thing. Every single thing comes to reality. All of these things come to pass, and all of these things allow you to operate from a place of victory and success in which you will never fail. And I assure you, when you identify as a son of God, as a daughter of God, as a son of the King and daughter of the King, you are truly royalty. You were born for such a time as this. This time may be, in some people's opinion, The the most crooked generation, but the reality it's not. It's not the worst. In fact, if you go back and look at the murder rates in the United States, that the murder rates in the 1950s was dramatically worse than they were in LA and Chicago today. If you look at the fact that in the 1960s there was thing called Civil War, where the country was literally fighting itself and killing brothers, and mothers were killing children, and fathers were killing sons, and sons were killing fathers, and that's true. That's Go back and read about how hard that was and the number of people that suffered in those days. That this country continues to excel, that this country is literally in the middle of revival. That when you open your eyes and see and peel back the things that are happening, that 12,000 people were baptized in California recently, the biggest baptism in the history of the world, that people are being set free, that Generation Z has had more baptisms than any generation at its this time that people are coming to salvation, that the viral revival is alive, and there are hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people coming to Jesus Christ, that today the church is walking out in victory and dominance. Today it's winning the war against the kingdom of darkness. Because why? Because it has submitted itself to the Holy Spirit, it's submitted itself to Jesus Christ, it's operating in the identity that it needs to operate in. And God fights the battles for us, and all we have to do is pick up the spoils. And that's the nuance that the world doesn't want you to see. It wants to obfuscate, it wants to cover, it wants to distract, it wants to pull you aside. Because when you're in the realm that it wants you to pull yourself in, outside of faith, you will never be victorious. But when you pull yourself back into the realm of faith and you stand in that place, even though all you have is a mustard seed's worth of faith, I'm telling you, That's all you need to get started. And it literally is a millimeter in size, like maybe, maybe 2. And so when you see how small a mustard seed is, it's not very different than the seeds you see on the outside of a strawberry. That's— it's that big. When you have that level of faith and you shake off the fear and you shake off the trepidation, you shake off all the lies and you realign yourself with the identity that God has for you on your life, I'm telling you, you will walk in such victory. that it will blow you away and will power you from victory to victory and grace, from faith to faith and glory to glory. And you will operate always under God's grace in power and, and obviously in success, that over time when you finish this path and you walk before the throne of grace, you're going to be able to go before him and say, Father, thank you for stewarding my life the way you did. I'm glad I surrendered to you because, because of it All these victories now belong to you, and I was able to bring them into earth through obedience and love. And that is the kingdom of God, because at the end of the day, that's who God is. That's what he wants for you. When we go back to Jeremiah 29:11 and he says about, I knew you before I formed you— when you understand that, I knew you before I formed you, and you understand those are the things that God knows about you, he knows your end when he wrote the beginning. That's the victory he wants for you. That's a victory I want for you. And I pray that you receive this in a way that's just amazing. And I pray that there's been enough practical things that all you have to do is study your Bible, believe the truths, walk them out, stand in the place of faith, ask the Holy Spirit what you need to do, and he will guide you every single step of the way and keep you on that path that leads to life.
