Independence Day

John Humenik preaches on spiritual freedom from anxiety, addiction, sin, and fear through faith in God rather than people or money. True independence comes from trusting God's promises and living in the Holy Spirit's power, with practical applications to finances, pride, and prayer.

And if you're not, Guess what? You know now. And so I'm excited to talk to you about independence and what it means for the real Independence Day. I want to talk to you about things that are going to totally set you free from spiritual bondages that have been wracking your life. If you've dealt with all forms of anxiety, worry, concern, overthinking, vain imaginations, maybe you're caught up in an addiction. Maybe you're stuck in a situation where you can't get out of a sinful situation. Even worse, if you're stuck in some form of poverty where you're living paycheck to paycheck, or you have a mindset of oppression, or some form that you feel that you're entitled to things. Today is going to be your real Independence Day where you're going to be set free from all the problems that the world has set on your doorstep because Jesus died on the cross just for you. So you gotta stick around for this video cuz it is going to transform everything the way you think and how you watch. Watch until the end. It's gonna be amazing. So the first scripture I'm gonna talk about today comes from Jeremiah 17. It actually is verses 5 and 7. And this says, this is what the Lord said, cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength From mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord and whose confidence is in him. Now, I wanna make sure we start to understand the context of why you're caught in the situation you're caught in. More than likely, it's basically a culmination of a couple things. It's set up based upon the words that you have spoken over your life, the actions you have taken or inactions you have taken, some form of sin in your life, cuz we all have sin and potentially even sin from your ancestors that have carried down to you. And if you don't believe that's true, look up generational curses, Deuteronomy. They are real, they're terrible, and they can really cause a lot of problems for people. And you would, and if we go back to last week's, uh, livestream where we talked about one flesh, you could actually be suffering from things that you didn't even do because someone else that you were intimate with or they were intimate with Now has problems. But let's figure out how to set you free. So this video is going to be talking about that in multiple different ways, because the key aspect is, is that what God is talking about here in Jeremiah is setting your trust in the correct place. In order to have a real Independence Day, you need to be set free from every aspect that is trying to hold you back. Not just one, not just two, not just three— all of it. When God talked about shalom shalom, he talked about perfect peace. He does refer to the things that are specifically designed to have peace over every aspect of your life. God does not want you to be in a situation where you have any problems in which you are caught up in and dealing with on a day-to-day basis. You're meant to be totally free. You're meant to be, uh, set free and operating from high places, seated in Christ. So where do we start with this? Where do we start to see those things manifest? Well, God starts talking about this in the context of where you're going to draw your strength, because he says, cursed is the one who trusts in man. Now, if you're not familiar with biblical curses, I really wanna make sure you understand this concept Right from the start, this is a very terrible statement because cursed generally means you are cut off from God. Functionally, it means it is basically no different than going to hell for eternity. Like, that's the level of what it means. Cursed is a very strong word because what it means is, is that God is saying, if you put your trust in man, if you put your trust in flesh and draw strength From those things and your heart has turned away from God, because it's a multiple statement. He says, cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. This is a really bad spot to be in. He's basically saying you're cut off. You're cut off from the blessings. You're cut off from the anointing. You're cut off from all the opportunities to live an abundant life. This is the beginning. If you are caught in a situation where you feel like this is unattainable, you You may be in a situation where like, I can't get out of this problem. Maybe you're caught in a country where, you know, there may be some form of oppression. Maybe you're caught in a community where there's violence. Maybe you're in a situation where you can't manage your money. Maybe you're caught up in an addiction that you can't break, a sin that you can't get rid of. You're— when you put your trust in anything that is not of God, you are falling short of the things that he wants for you. Now, this is different than being in a situation where you're working with godly people, seeking godly wisdom, and working through the processes that God has. So clearly, if you're seeing a psychiatrist or a psychologist who has biblical principles and is applying them in inner healing or even spiritual warfare, deliverance ministries, those are going to be fine because what God does is he'll put people in your life to help set you free. What this is saying very specifically is if you want a real Independence Day, if you want a situation where you want to be totally set free, you need to put your strength and your hope and trust in confidence in God. That's the essence of faith, because faith is a situation where you're fully persuaded that something is going to happen for you. Think about that from the perspective of you're caught up in an addiction. Let's say you're dealing with something. Maybe it's pornography, maybe it's alcohol, maybe it's gambling. They're all very, very difficult. There's even people who get addicted to adrenaline, addicted to gaming. There's just all kinds of things. I mean, I even feel the unction that someone's addicted to reading. You, you have to understand that when you're going through this process, you can't overcome these problems on your own. In fact, if you're going to all forms of self-help problems, you know, 10-steppers, where you're dealing with maybe you're going into group therapy. Ultimately, you need to learn to have faith in God. You need to be fully persuaded that you can trust in God and have confidence in him because that's where the blessings flow. Notice the difference, curse and blessings. That's where God sets the standard. There's nothing in between. When you put your trust in God and you say, Lord, I can't overcome this problem, I yield it up to you. Now what you're saying is, is you're putting it in the hands of the one who's capable of breaking it off your life. That's a powerful thing. That's how you get real independence. If you want to be set free from an addiction or some form of problem that continues to envelop you, especially when the addiction— because people that are caught up in addiction get in those situations where it becomes like an overwhelming urge, no different than like impulse shopping. You may be caught up in a situation where you're in an impulse shopping situation and you're caught in there. Therefore, you're like, oh my goodness, I really want this dress, or I really want this purse, or I really want this one thing, and bam, you go ahead and purchase it. That can be a form of addiction because you can't control yourself in those moments when the addiction rises itself up. But he who that is in you is greater than he that's in the world. The Holy Spirit who sits inside you has a throne in— on your heart. can overcome your addiction. Because if you put your trust in God, guess what happens? Your confidence will never fall short because God can't fail. His promises are really key because he will allow you to walk out from victory to victory and faith to faith. We see this because it says this in Psalms 18:2. It says, the Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God and my rock in whom I take refuge. my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Now, if you're not familiar with Old Testament types and shadows, this actually has a really powerful connotation because what the psalmist is saying— and I'm not sure if this is David or not— one of the— what the psalmist is saying is first is the rock is your sure— the Lord is your sure foundation. So what he's saying is, is that wherever you stand upon the Lord, you can never be swept away from the torrents of the world. You just can't. There doesn't matter if you're caught up in a financial situation where you can't pay your bills, if you're caught up in a situation where you've made bad decisions. Maybe you're, you know, you're dealing with generational curses. Maybe you're dealing with all forms of sin in your past and you haven't fully repented, or, or you really haven't addressed those concerns. Because remember, even though you get forgiven of sin doesn't mean you still don't deal with the consequences. I mean, David saw that with Bathsheba. So you can be restored through repentance, but that doesn't mean that there are not consequences for your actions. So you may be living through those consequences, but if you're standing on the rock that is Jesus Christ, what's going to happen is, is he'll become 2 major things for you. He'll become a fortress and a deliverer. Now, in ancient concepts, a fortress was functionally a place that really basically was either impossible or difficult to overthrow. You really needed to have an army. And back in those days, that's where you had a lot of situations where people would put a siege on the city and then basically, basically starve the population and then create siege works where they can then build and come up over the walls and/or destroy the walls. They were very, very difficult to overthrow because of the way it was set up. If the city was designed to be able to support the population through farming and other means internally, then at that point the, the surrounding army had to basically overthrow it. And in many cases there were situations that didn't occur. I mean, a perfect example of this is if you've ever been on the coasts of the United States, there are still forts up and down the East Coast in which the, the Spanish, the British, the French, and others, uh, that had built them, even in the Indians had built these forts. And there are some forts, and I remember one specifically in St. Augustine in Florida, that never fell. And in fact, when you understand the strategic place of that fortress, not only could it not fall, but because of the way the mixture of the sand and that ultimately turned into concrete, what happened was, is as ships that were coming up off the Atlantic Ocean would come and attack The fort, what would happen is, is that basically the fort would— it did— basically the cannonballs would basically be absorbed. And so the more ammunition— think about this from the perspective— the more ammunition the enemy shot at Fort— the fort that was at St. Augustine, the more they could just use to fire back. And in fact, it was set up on a plain where there was just no chance. You could not land an army and come up on them. It was just not possible because it was so heavily defended it could destroy any attacking navy or army on ground. So that's the essence of that warfare. A fortress is that powerful. So God is saying very clearly to you that when you stand upon me, I will become an unbreakable shield of protection that will guard you and protect you. And then he says in the very same statement, he'll then deliver you. Now that at this point, what you start to see is is that God's going next level. He's saying not only will I protect you, not only will I shield you and watch over you, but I'm going to be the victor that's going to basically crush your enemies that are before you and move forward. Now those enemies can be all kinds of different things. That could be poverty. That could be a poverty mindset. That could be a physical ailment, an injury, something you occurred maybe in high school in sports and you haven't fully recovered. It can be anything that you are. Physically fighting from, and, and you're basically saying, I can't overcome it. And what God is saying is, I'm going to deliver you from that. When you put yourself on the rock that is God, he is going to be able to protect you. But he didn't stop there. This is— that was literally just the first phrase in the verse. It then exclaims that God is my rock. So now it's a public declaration. Not only is you saying that he The Lord is my rock. But you're also establishing it through your words. And then the other aspect is, is that that becomes your place of refuge. He's your shield. And what it also says, the horn of my salvation. Now, horns were generally attributed to symbolically for kings or for battle. So what you're seeing here is, is that you're saying very distinctly that God is your salvation. And because of that, He becomes your stronghold, which is a fortress, and you can't be overcome. That's what God is saying when you do these things. So if you're caught up, if you want a real Independence Day from a problem in your life, whatever that is, it doesn't matter what it is, that all you have to do is stand on the promises of Jesus Christ. Believe and have faith and be completely convinced that He is your Lord. He is your Savior. He died and was risen again from the dead. And then not only that, will he come to protect you? Not only will he come to keep you from harm, he will deliver you, and he will bring all forms of victory in his name into your life. So these are the things that a lot of people struggle with, because what happens is, is people struggle with obedience. I remember the Lord recently talking to me about this, and something that a lot of people struggle with is There are a lot of defeated Christians in this world, a lot of them. They're— I see a ton of them as I go about my day-to-day business. I see a ton of them in churches that I attended, churches where I speak, churches where I visit, and they're all struggling. Not across the board, but when you look at the number of Christians who can say definitively, yes, I'm operating from a place of bounty where I can literally purchase a new home for someone. I can take vacations and I don't concern myself with what I spend. I have no physical problems. I have no mental problems. I'm not wrestling with any form of sin, and I'm not dealing with that. Believe it or not, that list is extremely small, and that's not the life God wants for you. Believe it or not, God does not want you to live a life of defeat. You're supposed to live a life from victory, from a seat In heavenly places, hidden in Christ Jesus through power. And I think if people truly understand your identity in Jesus Christ, when people truly, truly get that the essence of what you're supposed to be is a victorious king or queen every single day of your life, you're supposed to have perfect peace, that every part of your life is in perfection, every part of your life is surging. That doesn't mean trials and tribulations won't come. That won't— doesn't mean that something from your past won't try to Pull you back in. But functionally, day in and day out, you can say, over the last year, I have been living in victory. I have been living— the enemy is defeated and underneath my feet, and it continues to move forward from faith to faith to glory, glory. If you can't say that, if you're a person that's caught up in this situation, then this message is for you, because God is meant to operate from this position of power and authority. You're not supposed to be defeated. You're not supposed to be operating from a place where your injuries or your ailments carry until the grave. That's not how God wants you to live. God is not a God of pain and suffering. God is not the one who brings sickness into your life. God is not the one who brings poverty into your life. God is not the one who brings oppression and all forms of maybe guilt or, or shame, or even those people that believe that they're entitled to something. something. You're entitled to nothing. The grace of God is the only thing that gives you the capability to receive anything. And when you move outside the grace and you're in his mercy, you're still in technically in a safe spot. But you move outside his mercy, it's a bad place to be. That's why Christians walk in life so defeated, because they can't operate in victory, because they struggle with understanding who they are in Christ Jesus. They don't stand on the truth. They don't have an obedient life. They don't have a vibrant prayer life. They don't have an opportunity where they spend time in the prayer closet. They don't worship. They don't live a righteous life. And why is that? Why is a Christian who believes Jesus Christ is their Lord, who goes to church, who tries to walk out life in a good way, broken in some aspect or in many aspects of their life? It is primarily a place of disobedience because there's something that they're not willing to give up and give to God so that he can take care of it, whether it's your money or your time or your concerns, or it's some form of recurring sin that you choose to continue to keep and you accept because you choose that it's okay because I've got grace and I can always ask for forgiveness later. God is not a God of compromise. God is a God of holiness. He's a God of being consecrated before, reverential fear, and being in a place that if you want real independence from the problems of your life, from the addictions of your life, you need to understand that you can't compromise either. Jesus didn't compromise. In fact, in Hebrews it talks about how Jesus hated— hated, not entertained Hated sin, but he loved righteousness. Think about that. What are the things that God hates? Like, this is a God of just greatness and holiness, but yet he clearly talks about in the scriptures the things that he hates. And so when you are in a place of disobedience, you're in a place where you can't have an Independence Day. You can't be set free. You can't allow yourself to operate from a position of power, so you operate from a position of lack. Let's look at the scriptures and start talking about some of the ones that can allow you to be set totally free. So Hebrews 13:5 talks about encouraging freedom from the love of money. This is really important because I would bet that vast majority of Christians have some form of bondage, potentially. Again, I'm not speaking that over everyone, But I would bet that there would be a lot of people, and I'm not even a betting man because I, I've never had any success in gambling, and God made sure that, that, you know, that was, you know, sinful acts and I had to repent for those things. So God's like, look, you have to give up your finances to God. You have to operate from a sacrificial giving perspective. You have to operate from Ecclesiastes, what he talks about in 11, uh, verse 2. You have to be able to operate In overflow. And how do you do that if you don't love money? Well, it's very simple, is, is that you recognize that money is a tool. So for people who need real independence from a financial problem, I'm here to encourage you today that if the moment you look at money as no different than a faucet that you can turn on in order to use to get water, and the money is the same thing, it's just something you can turn on. In order to get something. When you start to look at money like that, you'll be set free. That bondage will be broken off your life. You'll experience a real Independence Day, and you will be able to operate in a kingdom mindset. Because it's very important to operate in this space, because money can become a major thorn. It can become a snare for a lot of people, because what happens is a lot of Christians Don't tithe, and I I will highly encourage you today. If you're not tithing, I don't care of your financial situation. Tithe. I can assure you I have seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I have seen incredible people. I've seen incredible people in seven-figure debt with no money coming in, still tithing, standing on the promises of God, believing that God will get them to the place where they be, and in God's timing, before before they lose everything, he comes through 100% of the time. I even heard this testimony from my friend David Diga Hernandez. He talks about this a lot in his ministry where he says that he will get stuck in a situation where he needs to take on a spirit of faith and walk out life in this very, very sick situation, but God won't provide the funds until they're about to shut the lights off. He talks about this a lot. I've experienced this in my own life multiple times. I've seen it in others. You have to understand that money is a tool and that actually when you look at the scriptures, there are 7 ways that a giving Christian should be operating. And I don't want anyone ever to get caught up in that the rules that are in the Old Testament don't apply to the New Testament, because when you read the New Testament, you'll see that God reapplied all of the functional laws that needed to be there. Now, he didn't necessarily pull in the, the societal laws and the basically the Mosaic laws attached to like the sacrificial pieces. Those were then replaced by Jesus's sacrifice. But the moral law and the opportunity around finances and how you operate in that space, they're all valid. In fact, they're so valid that when you start to operate in those areas, especially sacrificial giving, going beyond your tithe So you have your 10% tithe, that is your pre-tax number that's going to your church. That's the way it's supposed to work. And then you start to operate in sacrificial giving, giving that hurts, sown in tears. You're doing first fruits offerings, and you're doing honoring a man of God, and you're, you're supporting a traveling ministry. All these different ways in which you're supposed to operate, you will see the blessings of God on your life. Because what happens is, is God's going to honor your giving because that's what his promises say. You have to understand, just because it was spoken in the Old Testament doesn't mean it doesn't apply to you. God's promises, his blessings apply to you. Malachi 3:10, one of the most legendary verses on tithing, applies to you. Jesus reaffirmed that over again in his scriptures when he talked to the Pharisees. He said, you, you should have continued tithing, but you should not have ignored the other things. And so you have to understand that this is the thing. And if you're caught in a bondage where you're stuck, where financial giving is a problem, I'm telling you right now, break out of it. Just do it. Just go test God. That's what it says. Malachi 3:10 is the one place in the Bible that I can distinctly remember that God says, test me in this. If you don't believe him, test him. Go and start tithing. It doesn't even matter if you have to you know, cut off Netflix or go to Starbucks less or do some things a little bit differently. Cut off those things that are in excess. Go into a sacrificial place, start tithing, and then go next level and continue to donate beyond that to your local church, to other ministries, and sow with intent. Sow and make, and make a prayer over that seed and call it and describe what it's supposed to be. And God will honor that in a mighty, mighty way because he wants that for you. And watch him deliver it. Now, you might not see that come back in a financial reward. You might see it in favor. You might see it in opportunity. You might see it in new business. There's all kinds of ways God's going to bless you. But if you don't give, what happens is, is that become a bondage on your life and you can't operate from an independence perspective. Because that love of money will continually grip you and put you in a place where you can't move forward. Let's hop over to Romans 12:16 because it talks about warning against pride. Now, I want to really make sure you understand the definition of pride because a lot of people get caught up in pride and don't even realize it. Here's an area that is really powerful. My pastor, Pastor Tim Timberlake, talks about this a lot. If you're not thankful for something, then you believe that that came from you. And so when you are operating from a spirit of thankfulness and you say, God, thank you for everything that's in my life, that everything that I have good has come from your throne and no place else. It is not because of my intelligence, because you gave me my intelligence. It's not because of my money, because you helped me make that money. It's not because of my influence. Because you gave me my influence. When you put yourself in a position where you have a thankful heart, pride can't creep in. Pride is the thing where you believe it was something that you did under your own power, your own skill, or your own talent. And in fact, pride goes even further when you're not able to thank God, but you then don't give yourself the credit because pride is that dangerous. And pride, as we talked about in June over and over again, is one of the most dangerous sins in the entire Bible because it is the last sin that happens before the fall. And so before you ultimately get cut off, pride is what builds up in your heart, and pride becomes a manifestation of many, many seeds. And so you don't want to put yourself in a position where you're caught in a prideful state. This is so key because when you are humble Surrendered and obedient, you can't get into pride. You can't. It's impossible because pride is the exact opposite of those things. Pride becomes a place where you are the ones that are confident. You are the one that believes. You are the one that becomes capable. But if you're humble, surrender to God, and you're obedient to the word over your life, guess what's going to happen? Pride's going to leave. And that's key, because in order to be truly independent of the problems of your life, pride has to go. If you want a true independence day, you want a real independence day from the problems, you have to move away from pride. In fact, if you're caught in any form of addiction, this is where it will creep in. It will creep in in a big way, because you believe through your own intelligence, through your own willpower, that I can quit cold turkey. Maybe I'm smoking, I can quit cold turkey. Maybe on some form of drugs, recreational drugs, I can quit cold turkey. That's pride. You're not going to be able to do that. If you— if it does happen in your life, it manifests because of the grace of the Holy Spirit, not because of your strength. So pride is a very, very nasty sin. It is something that will operate and dig deep into you and basically dig its claws into you and just stick onto you. And really cause a lot of trouble in your life because it's designed to take the glory away from God and put it onto you. So anytime you're reflecting upon yourself, I mean even staring at the mirror longer than you should, is going to be a form of pride. If you're enamored with your looks, enamored with your nails, enamored with your purses, your shoes, your dresses, your clothes, your ties, your suits, your cars, your housing, your boats, your jets, whatever, your business— it doesn't matter— your talents— that is going to be a form of pride. And you don't want to be in that state. You always want to be able to understand that at any point your stuff can go away. In fact, in Revelation it talks about everything going away. So we know that when we die, we can't take it with us. Okay, we know that when we die, everything that's on this earth is going to be left behind to those that we choose, or the government's going to take it— one of the two. And so when you operate from that posture and you know the only thing, the only thing that you can take with you are your works, right? That's ultimately what the Bible says, because that's what God says. Jesus says store up treasures in heaven where moth and all kinds of things can't destroy it, where rust can't ruin it, moth can't eat it, uh, all these different things. Thieves can't steal it. So how do you get those things in heaven? Well, it's your works, it's your posture of your heart, it's your relationship to Jesus Christ, it's your location, proximity, all the things that you do to the Lord. When you operate from that perspective of obedience, that God's word is right and whatever I see in the natural, it's not relevant, I believe God's word. When you operate in humility, when you keep yourself low, try not to take credit for things, give glory to God as often as you humanly can. Because when you start to understand how much God blesses you, you can give glory to God like a couple dozen times a day and you'd still fall short. Like, that's, that's the essence of what he's saying. You then, you could start to operate from obedience, humility, and surrender. And when you are surrendered to God, boy, that is the most powerful place be. Because guess what happens? You're leaning on the one who can't be unstoppable. It's— you're leaning on the one who is the rock. We talked about this earlier. He's your fortress. He's your foundation. He's someone that will go and deliver and bring victory to you in all forms of causes. It's a powerful, powerful place to be because God is the one who's going to set you free. And it's also— let's hop over to 2 Timothy Uh, verse chapter 1, verses 7. This is really one of the most, uh, popular verses in the Bible, is it talks about this. It says that God did not give you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of a sound mind. Now, if you understand the context that's here, a lot of people gloss over this, that fear is not an emotion. Like, that's the essence of what a lot of people forget. If you have any form of anxiety, anything that's a derivative of fear. You could have depression as a part of fear. You could have— I mean, obviously you can even have addictions as a part of fear. You can have anything that's basically a derivative, that it starts with fear and then it's branched off. That is a demonic spirit, period. That's what the Bible says. Fear is 100% a tool of the enemy. That's all it is. And it is not an emotion. Now, you may get a fearful reaction to a situation. Maybe you're out and about and an animal jumps out of the bush. Maybe you're walking across the street and you don't see the car that just buzzed by your head. Like, those things are going to be situations like, oh, you're fearful, but that's actually not fear. That's actually just being startled. That's a completely different thing. Fear is a deep-rooted thing that the, the enemy wants to put in you that puts you in a place where you lose hope. That's what fear— talk about not having independence. This is something that I can assure you that if I talked about fear for every single day for the rest of my life, there will always be someone that watches a video, whether it's a short or a reel or a long-form video, and they will have some fear in their life. It is just something that is prevalent everywhere. It's like at the addiction level because The devil uses fear. If you understand how the kingdom of darkness works, it operates on fear. The kingdom of light operates on love. That's the— that is the currency. Everything is done in and around love. If you can't do anything in love, you can't even operate in the kingdom of God. That's just— there is no separation. And that's where you get into the situation where you talk about Matthew 7, where people came up to God and started, you know, showing off their works because they did none of it in love. They just did it all in pride. And so the kingdom of darkness operates from fear, and you can see that. Just turn on the news, go to your favorite news website, go to anything that talks about the things that are happening today, and you'll hear the same thing over and over again. You'll hear about global warming, You'll hear about all the different illnesses that are going around. You hear about politics. You hear about how the economy is struggling, how the government's falling apart. You'll hear all these lies. And that's all they are. They're always lies. Because if you live around long enough, you start to notice that that's what they do every single year at the same time. And then nothing really changes. You don't see the oceans levels rising after 20 years. They haven't. You don't see the polar bears disappearing because their population has been steady for decades. You hear the lies that the devil wants you to believe because he wants you to put into you in a fearful state and bring on a fearful spirit. Because guess what happens when that happens? He has got control over you. Truly, truly, the antithesis of a real independence is fear. And that's the thing that grips people so much. It grips Christians. It prevents them from operating in obedience because they're fearful of what's going to happen, that they don't trust God, and they're afraid that if they take their step out there that they're going to be exposed. You see this all the time where God calls people to go start businesses and they don't do it, where God says, hey, I want you to go and donate some money and they don't do it, go volunteer some time and they don't do it. There's always an excuse. I'm not strong enough. I'm not intelligent enough. I don't have enough time. I'm too busy. There's always a reason that prevents you from operating in a spirit of hope and a spirit of love, and then they choose fear. But what they realize—if people realize that all you have to do is rebuke the spirit of fear and ask it to go—it has to go. And guess what happens? That fearful emotion that has gripped you and controlled you for so. So long has to flee. Your anxiety has to flee. Your depression has to flee. Any form of mental torment, any form of emotional mutedness— this is something that's really key because I'm sure men experience this because I know I do— is where you can't receive something emotionally. Well, more than likely there's something blocking you on the inside that you have to break off, and a lot of those aspects is fear because you're afraid to let someone in. That's what 2 Timothy chapter 1, verse 7 is talking about. You're not under the control of a fearful spirit, but you operate from 3 places: power, love, and a sound mind. Now, when you start to understand the descriptions of the Holy Spirit in the scriptures, you'll start to understand a couple things that are very, very clear in day in and day out about who he is. The first mention of the Holy Spirit by Jesus is he calls him the Spirit of Truth. And so when you operate in the Spirit like that, what you're dealing with is now you're being challenged to understand that, oh, wait a minute, everything the Holy Spirit does is true. Think about that, is he stands on the promises of the Father's word. All the time. That's the essence of who he is. He's the Spirit of Truth. Another aspect you start to see is he's the Spirit of Power. Now, love is the predominant theme in the entire Bible. It's a love story. It's all about Jesus— Jesus loving us, Jesus sacrificing himself for us. His love, John 3:16, it's all over. If you don't know it, we'll talk about it here soon. But love is listed the third in this list. So if you're thinking about from an independence perspective, okay, how do I get my real independence? Well, you got to operate in power. Yeah, you do. You have to operate in truth, and then you operate in love. That's who the Holy Spirit is. Now, from the perspective of Jesus, and you start to say, well, what would Jesus do? You start to see that the very first words out of Jesus's mouth was, I'm about my Father's business. When he was at the temple when he was 12 years old, what was his last words? It is finished. And then I give up my spirit to you, Father. I'm about my Father's business. And so what you start to see is is that he stands on the truth, and he operates in power, and he operates in love because you don't have to actually pull one of those things out. You can operate in all three simultaneously. So when you're operating in that aspect, and you start to understand when fear comes, when these problems come, when these things kind of come and these issues try to bubble up, what you start to understand is, is that God is a God of power. He's a God of truth and a God of love. And all of these things that you operate that prevent you from stepping forward into the promises that he has for you Almost always when you get into disobedience, you get into a lack of humility, you get into all forms of you can't surrender, ultimately it's sourced in fear. You just can't do it. You just, you're struggling and you can't do it. In fact, there are so many aspects of your life that when you truly understand that this is the functionally, this is the, the sanctification process, is what you're doing is You're just giving God more of you. You already have every aspect of God. You already have the Holy Spirit. There's no such thing as a junior Holy Spirit. You have the full power of the Holy Spirit that resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead, the full power from the Holy Spirit that sat or actually hovered over the waters in Genesis 1:2 and brought calmness to the chaos that was going on, the same Holy Spirit that took the deity, the The person of Jesus Christ and put him in the womb of Mary. By far the most miraculous thing in the entire universe today, that he took the second person of the Trinity and put him into a human being. The power that it would have took to do that is incomprehensible, way greater than that to create even the universe. That's who you're operating with when you can truly start to get into a place where you can trust the Holy Spirit. Where you can get to a place where, like, look, I'm gonna sit in my prayer closet and I'm gonna download what he wants me to do today. I'm gonna download all the things he wants to tell me, even if it is just edification and exhortation or comfort or something to that effect. I'm going to sit there and then I'm going to get my work that he wants me to do and how he wants me to operate today, and then I'm going to go do it. I'm not going to stop. I'm not going to look at the world and say, I can't do this, I can't afford it, I can't accomplish this, I'm not smart enough. I don't have the people. I don't have the talent. I don't have the resources. I don't have the network. I don't have the net worth. I don't have— you don't— those words never come out of your mouth because what you recognize is that you're operating from truth because God said it, it's going to happen. You are operating from power because guess what? He can back it up. And you're going to operate in love because love gives you patience, gives you kindness. It gives you the ability to always trust and always care and move forward. And when you start to understand that when you look at that entire picture, you can truly experience an Independence Day that you've never had before, because God wants more for you than what you want for yourself. In fact, when you start to truly understand the things that God wants for you in your life today, and you start to receive them and then walk them out, it'll be transformative. I can even tell you a beautiful story about my wife and something that she's doing here soon. And she's got this new book that's coming out. It's going through an editing process, and we're basically really close to being able to have it released. There's a pretty good chance by the time you even watch this video that that's going to be already released, at least in ebook form, and then the published book is going to come after. And this was something that she had to walk out obediently. But if I had told her 6 months ago, maybe like let's say February timeframe or even June— I'm sorry, January— and she said, hey, you're going to write a book and be a published author, and guess what, you have a chance to be a number one bestseller based upon the book, she would look at me and think I was totally crazy. Just insane, just totally insane. It's impossible. Here we are six months later. The book is done. It's going through an editing process and is ready to rock the world. And it's an incredible book. It's highly anointed. And so, when you start to operate in the promises of God, God transforms your life overnight. Really, He does. If you want to experience a real Independence Day from the problems of your life, you're gonna have to walk this out. In fact, the financial problems that people experience are more. than likely on you than anything else. Because one of the things you start to understand is, is that when you understand how God operates, is God pours out from a posture of sacrifice. That's how it always starts. Always starts with you being about your Father's business in a posture of sacrifice. Everywhere in the Bible, everywhere in the Bible, it— that's how it happens. Look anything up. Look at any blessing that came that blew people away. Look at all of them. You will always see some form of obedience, generally radical, and you'll have some form of faith and some form of sacrifice that went with it, whether it was financial, whether it was, um, you know, at that time very common would be agricultural or some form of animals. It was always that case. Look at Solomon and the opportunity that God came and said, hey, I'm going to give you discernment on a scale that no one will ever have. How did that start? What started was Solomon sacrificing so many bulls that they couldn't count over about a 2-week period of time. Okay, so you see this massive sacrifice that happens, and then God comes and says, hey, what do you want? And Solomon says, look, I'm young, I need discernment— or in some translations, wisdom— to be able to lead this nation. God says, great, this is a great thing. I'm not only going to give you that, but I'm going to give you riches and You'll have no, you'll have no equal. And so we look at that historically and we say, wow, he, he did not have no equal. In fact, even today, Solomon would blow away everyone in riches. And so the, even just his annual, what would be, what would be considered, uh, basically an offering to his, uh, country was just incredible in the amount of gold and the amount of things that people would give him because he was so highly renowned. among people. But you forget that what you see is you see the sacrifice there, but what you miss was the 3,000 proverbs that he wrote before he became wealthy. Even through this process that God walked him through, there was a sacrifice, there was a, a humble ask for increase. God gave it to him, which is very important, because if you, you're missing something, you need to ask for it. And so God's not going to hold any of that stuff back. It doesn't matter what it is because he created it all to begin with. So if you want a real Independence Day from your financial situations, you're going to have to understand the key point: you're gonna have to work for it. Like, that's the key thing that people don't recognize. And I am assure you, more than likely, it's not going to be at your day job. In fact, you may keep your day job, but you may have all these other things that you have to do as either what we would call today side hustles investments or other forms of income. So God knows that in order for you to rise up and conquer a fearful spirit, a spirit that's holding you back, a spirit that's keeping you from being who you are, who you need to be in the kingdom of God, you have to understand that you actually have to step out in faith, and you actually have to step out and act. You may be called to start that business. You may be called To go back to school and get a different degree. You may be called to leave your job and go into something new because God wants you there. And it doesn't matter if that's ministry or another role, a second career. God's always going to level you up. But you have to understand that even every single step that you take, it's not something like in the old days where a lot of people— and I know a lot of the people that will watch this don't even understand this anymore— but there The— my dad's generation and generation before would go to work in some form of blue-collar job and stay there their entire life. They would come out of high school, some wouldn't even go to college. They would be 18 years old, and if they weren't caught up in a draft, they would go into work and they would work there for 30, 40 years and then retire. And that was it. And that was their life. And then they would die. God's not like that because he doesn't honor retirement. He doesn't honor that. In fact, he doesn't honor even excessive savings. What God honors is work. What God honors is faithfulness. What God honors is a distinct focus on the kingdom and continuing to operate from a position of power and authority at all times. When you understand that's how he works, that every single day you have breath, there is purpose in your day. Your, your real Independence Day comes from understanding that you have to move forward. And there are going to be days and seasons where you're going to have to work and work really hard. And you're going to have seasons where everything is coming together and everything is just coming and being dropped off literally on your doorstep. And it just happens over and over again. That's going to happen. And you're going to have situations where you may think, may think that it's a setback, but instead it's a shedding season in which God is then going to— or pruning season in some of the other farming terms— where then God says, I'm going to take this deadwood that's off of this branch and I'm going to basically burst forward. Because you know when you trim a branch, 3, 4, 5 branches coming in its place. So there's always some form of multiplication that happens after God does that level of subtraction, because that's what he does. And in fact, what you really start to understand, it's really addition and then multiplication. Multiplication because he's offloading the junk off your life into something else. And so this is the key point that I want to try to make because Jesus said this, John 14:6. He says, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." You have to understand that there is no other path to the Father than Jesus Christ. You can't get into heaven other than way through him. But what you start to see is, is this is a compound statement. Even though we talk about the salvation part, whereas no one could go to the Father without actually going through Jesus, but Jesus said first, I'm the way and the truth and the life. So what he's saying is, is there's a, there's a compound aspect. So he's the physical path in which you can traverse to go to heaven. And this is applicable to everything in your life because he's the path that gets you to success. He's the path that gets you to overflow. He's the path that gets you to spiritual freedom. He's the path that does all these things. Everything that you need in your life to be set completely free and have a true Independence Day comes from the fact that Jesus is the way. You have to then understand that his way is truthful, that everything on that path is true, and that no matter what comes along, whether it's family, friends, uh, co-workers, classmates, anyone else that wants to come along and say, hey, I want to introduce something else, that you have to stand on the promises of God. You have to stand on the fact that you're seated in heavenly places, that you eat the fat of the land, that you're blessed to be blessing to others, that your mind is consecrated and safe, and that you have the peace of God that protects your heart and your mind, that no weapon formed against you can ever prosper, that every tongue that rises itself up against you shall be, uh, basically cast down. All of these things— that when you donate to causes, that you're going to reap a harvest of 30, 60, or 100 return, that you know that if the devil comes and steals anything from you, including your time— let's say he gets you sick for a week— guess what happens? You can call upon the Lord for a 7x return of your time, 7x return of your income. The devourer, the more the devourer comes to destroy, the more you rebound later. That's the power of God, that you know that when you're on the rock, that doesn't matter how much the storm beats against the rock, that God is going to win that day and continue to win. And I can assure you, if you stick around God long enough and you trust him through these promises long enough, you'll see that happen. Over and over and over again. So you'll see that the path that Jesus has for you, the way, is the, the right— that, that is the correct path. It is the path of perfection. It's the path to be in the Holy Ghost flow. It is the perfect will of God. But you understand that it comes with truth. But then when you put those 2 together, it says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. What God wants is for you to operate in abundance. At all periods of your life. This is the one of the biggest lies that I see. If people get up and over the hump of a lot of the things that we talked about, this is where they get caught up in, because they don't believe Christians should be rich. They don't believe Christians should own private jets. They don't believe Christians should own yachts, that the Christians should take vacations and live a luxurious life. Then who does? Think about that. God created this place for us, his children. He didn't create it for the non-believer, even though everyone in the world comes into the world as a non-believer. But God created this place for his children. So if his children can't enjoy the gold, the silver, the diamonds, the rubies, the sapphires, the, the luxurious tropical locations, the the awesome mountain location, the ski resorts, the beautiful waterfalls, the tropical rainforest, the rivers, the lakes, all those things, then who's supposed to enjoy them? Why are they here? This is where Christians get caught up, and a religious spirit will kick in and cause problems for them because they recognize that they're able to operate in a level of independence, but then they plateau. But that's what Jesus is saying in John 14:6, that he's The way, the truth, and the life. It's a combination. And so your abundant life— and we'll talk about John 10:10 here soon— the abundant life that you're supposed to live exists in Jesus. And Jesus is not a compromising God. In fact, when you see the heavenly banquets that are in Revelation and you understand how the Garden of Eden worked in Genesis, you start to understand that there was no lack, there was no limitations, and in fact everything was a partnership with God. And now you start to understand that this is the real independence that you need in your life if you want to operate at the levels God wants you to operate, if you want true independence in your life where you are set free from every single thing the world tells you. You have to be willing to receive all the things you're willing to receive. Do you think Solomon made silver as common as stone because he operated from a posture of lack? I mean, think about that statement that no one was homeless in Solomon's time. No one. In Acts, no one had lack. These are the 2 times in the history of the world that were documented in the Bible where People didn't struggle, and people had opportunity to live life abundantly. And that's the essence of what God wants— is abundant life. It's not get-by life. It's not, oh, I'm above the poverty line, oh, I can make my bills, I have a little bit of savings in case of an emergency, I can afford a vacation or two. No, no. An abundant life means that you have so much income that you can buy someone a house when they need it, that you can donate car after car after car to someone because you just can. If you want to be able to fund your church's missions for 1,000 people for 5 years straight, you can do that. If you want to put on a multimillion-dollar crusade in the middle of Africa because there's going to be multiple, multiple million of people going to it, you can afford to do that. And guess what? You have the jets to fly people there. That's what abundance means. These things— you can't be going about your Father's business if you're broke. No one runs a business when they're broke. And ministries are expensive businesses. And so that's the essence of what God's talking about in John 14:6, is that when you follow the way, Jesus, you accept the truth, you can now live the life. And then you understand is, okay, this is also the path to the Father because Jesus carved it out, unfortunately, with the stripes on his back and the nails through his hands and his feet and the crown of thorns on his head and, and the spear in his side. And he was poured out, broken to the point where he was unrecognizable on the cross. He gave us the ultimate independence from sin, from death, from all forms of darkness. We have the ability to trample on snakes and scorpions, which are basically a type and shadow of the enemy, and you are victorious in everything that you do. And God talks about this even further when he goes into Psalm 56, verses 3 through 4. It says, when I'm afraid, I put my trust in you, in God whose word I praise. In God I trust and I'm not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Now I really want to hit on this topic a little bit because, you know, we could spend an entire Bible study on this verse alone. But what are the things that Things that you may be struggling with that's keeping you from having a real Independence Day is the fear of man. And we talked about fear before, but God is saying very clearly— and I'm almost positive that this is a David verse, uh, in Psalm— and he's saying, what can mere mortals do to me? Think about that from the perspective of what he's saying. Here's the king, more than likely, uh, in David's life he had a ton A ton of war, a ton of war. He was— dude was on the run all the time, hiding in caves, hiding in fields, doing all kinds of stuff, trying to stay alive. Saul was trying to pin him to a wall multiple times. He was being hunted by him, and then his son Absalom chased him out of the kingdom. I mean, it was just rough, right? He had a rough life. He had a lot of good moments and expanded the kingdom of God and established the kingdom of Israel. in a very firm way that lasted for at least about half a century. But David is saying, even through all of that, all that terror, all that pain, all that suffering, all that fear, all that anguish, that he's saying, what can mere mortals do to me? Think about that from that perspective. And we know in the New Testament it talks about the, the Satan can't touch the believer. That's in scripture. So you have your, your functionally your 2 enemies Uh, you have people in the world that are operating in the kingdom of darkness, either unintentionally or intentionally, and then you have the kingdom of darkness. And so God is making it very clear that you can't be touched, you can't be affected, you can't be— you can't be, uh, basically dethroned, you can't be injured, you can't have your stuff destroyed. Uh, while those things may come and they may happen, you may be even thrown in jail, but ultimately you're victorious. And so think about that perspective. When you are fearful, that's what it starts with. When I'm afraid, I put my trust in God, and then I praise him. So there's an aspect of praise which we talk about all the time. You got to have your worship on. You can't, you can't just limit your, your daily walk to reading the Bible and prayer. You got to have a worship aspect to it. And then when you do that, God's gonna— you're gonna be able to put your place and operate from a posture of humility surrender and obedience, but it's going to be done through worship. And guess what happens? No one can touch you. No one can touch you. And so if you're afraid for your house or for your children, no one can harm them. No one can touch them. You know, do you need, uh, uh, alt— more security and, uh, an alarm on your car because you live in a place where the— you're— there's a lot of carjackings and things like that? No, you got the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is way better than any security system or any car alarm that ever could be. You know, you can have gangsters coming after you and it won't matter. Even we had, um, the, the prophet, uh, Sergio Sanchez on here, and he talked about this when his testimony, which was powerful, and when he got saved, God protected him from all of the gangs that were operating in that area. In fact, he lived in that area for quite some time before he moved away and nothing happened to him. That's the essence of what we're talking about here. If you want real independence for your mind and for Safety, because I know if if you're a woman and you're watching, this is something that really racks their minds a lot. And I and I totally understand at least where you may be coming from from time to time. But God is your protector. God is your shield. God's your banner. He's Jehovah Jireh. He's Jehovah Nissi. He's he's there to protect you, and he's there for to heal you, Jehovah Rapha. I mean, there's people that have been just abused and injured and just all forms of. Things that, I mean, I don't really want to mention on here, but you can imagine the harm that a person can do to you through all forms of different forms of torment, being put your hands laid on you, and just all the bad things that happen after that. But God is saying, what can mere mortals do to you? When you put your trust in God, that you can overcome those situations. You become a living testimony to people that those aspects become the rock that you're standing upon because that rock is Jesus Christ. You can understand that you can't be afraid of anything. And in fact, you will always go from victory to victory and glory to glory. And in fact, if it tries to come your way in the future, you just speak it out and then it comes to an end, and that's the end of it. And so you understand that the words that are in your mouth are more powerful. You can truly have a true Independence Day that will allow you to operate. And I'm going to close out this live stream with one of the most legendary verses in the entire Bible. We talk about this all the time. Uh, we have John 3:16 because we know what that is. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Clearly talking about independence. We can't even have a video without that. But let's hop over to that attachment, because why did Jesus come? Jesus didn't come just to die for us and for us to have salvation. Clearly very, very important. The, the cornerstone of everything that we do. But John 10:10 explains it further, and it says, I've come to give you life and life abundantly. Now there's the aspect of the beginning that talks about Satan. We're not going to be talking about that. But why did Jesus come anyway? Jesus came to be the living sacrifice, to fulfill the requirements of the law, the Mosaic law that was in place, all the things that were put in place. You see that in Leviticus, you see that in Numbers, you see You see that in Deuteronomy, even to a degree in aspects later in Exodus. And you start to see that the sacrifice— that a perfect lamb had to be sacrificed in order to make permanent atonement for sin. This is why a lot of people get caught up in religion, because they believe that they have to be baptized before they die. That's why they baptize all their children. But that's not what baptism does. Tell that to the thief on the cross who wasn't baptized. Sure. Clearly, you can go to heaven without being baptized. You have to understand that these bondages in your life, that all these things that are happening in your life, that the goal of operating is to have life and life abundantly. And the word abundant is a very big, powerful word. Blessing is a big and powerful word. Jesus did not die on the cross for us to just be able to have access to the Father and live life skirted. And live life low and live life in barely, you know, getting by. No, Jesus came for us to conquer and dominate, to trample on snakes and scorpions, to be more than conquerors. Romans 8. When you start to understand, when you understand the aspect of where he's at, the Holy Spirit doesn't give one second thought to what Satan's doing in this world. Doesn't even care. He is about whatever he needs to do for the kingdom, and that's it. And if Satan gets in his way, he just he just completely runs him over. It's the end of it. And ultimately, more times than not, Satan recognizes that, and he's just shouting off in the distance trying to distract people. But that's all they are in your life when you come to the place where you can start to understand that that's all the enemy is—is there the opposing crowd. Standing in the bleachers cheering for the other team, trying to be a distraction, trying to get you off your game, trying to change your focus off of Jesus onto him. The moment you recognize that you have complete and total empowered victory over the enemy, that everything you do, everything you put your hand to, can prosper in such a powerful way. Prosper in ways that you never thought possible, and, and you can truly operate from a kingdom mindset. You can do that and operate in victory and independence. You will have a real Independence Day where you will never fail, you will never struggle, you will never stop. You will go from glory to glory and faith to faith. You may not see it happening. in the day. You may not see it in the month or even in the quarter, which would be 3 months. But when you look back 6 months, a year, 2 years, 3 years, you will see an acceleration and a change in your life and your family's life and everyone around you in a way that'll be— it'll be astonishing. In fact, the blessings will be so profound that when you start to understand that, that they will overflow everywhere. God wants to bless you first. And then he wants to bless everyone else later. That's key. You got to take care of yourself. You got to rest. You got to grow. You got to learn. You got to continue to move forward. But when you do that day over day, month over month, year over year, you will find that the problems that you used to have will disappear. The physical ailments that used to stop you will actually just go away, and the finances that try to hold you back will become the the basically the fuel that lights the fire that allows you to move. Forward. All of the things, the weapons, everything— God, it's in Genesis 50:20— everything that would come against you will be turned around and used for you and for your benefit. When you can stand on those promises, where you can believe that these are the things that are happening, that God's a respecter of no person, that Jesus came to have you, to bring life and life abundantly, that he came, that you can hear his voice, that he can talk to you, and that you know him and you follow him, that you recognize the voice of the stranger and you don't follow him. All of these things are all the promises in the Bible over and over and over again, that you can prophesy, that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still around, that all the cessationists are living a lie of a depowered Holy Spirit, which is impossible because God says he can't change. And so therefore, since he is a respecter of no persons and he can't change, what he did for Moses he can do for you. You can believe that you can have the gift of miracles You can have the gift of prophecy and understand revelation knowledge for the future to unlock the mysteries. That you know that God— to the glory of God is to conceal a thing, but it is the glory of kings to search it out. That it wasn't— things aren't hidden from you, they're hidden for you, for you to seek them out. When you start operating in all of those promises over and over again, you speak them over your life and you walk them out and you believe them and you do it and you don't speak death over yourself, and you renounce the words that the world or anyone else wants to try to prevent you from happening, trying to pull you back into the past and try to turn you away, look in that rearview mirror like who you used to be, and that's who you are, and that's all you'll ever be. When you push through all of that one day at a time, breaking off one bondage, setting yourself free through the power of the Holy Spirit, partnering with Jesus Christ and living life out abundantly, you will truly start to understand why God does the things he does, because he's a God of abundance and overflow. You have to understand he's an unlimited God, so it does not matter the extent he can bless you today, because he can take that blessing, multiply it by a million, and the next day bless you again, and then multiply that million blessing by another million the next day. And since he's infinite, he could literally do that for all of eternity and never stop. When you start to understand that one concept, that that's the blessings that are in front of you, I can assure you that you will receive everything God has because nothing will be impossible with God. And all of those things that you see that are in front of you, they're just obstacles. You just speak to the mountain, you speak to the giants, and they just go away. It's as simple as that. And all you need is a mustard seed of faith. That's it. Something that's like a millimeter, 2 millimeters big. And when you start to understand that you can hear the Rhema Word of God spoken over your life, the Holy Spirit talking to you, Jesus talking to you, the Father talking to you, and then now that's how your faith actually grows. You stand on the Logos Word of God, the Bible, and all the promises that are there, that you know that wherever you step your feet, that that's your territory, that wherever you go, the Spirit of the Lord will lead you. You know that if you go about your God's business and God doesn't want you there, he'll stop you like Paul did, because you see a need and you're trying to fill it. When you're putting your hand to the plow and you're operating from that perspective, and you continue to operate in victory every single moment, every single day, you stand on these promises and you continue to move forward. Your identity in Christ is a king and queen, period. As simple as that. And a king and queen don't get off the throne to slap a peasant, okay? You have a spirit of faith. You have a spirit of faith that's so powerful that a tadpole will slap a whale, that you have— that you can jump over a troop, okay? You can go out there and basically jump on a cornstalk, spin out over hell, and spit in the devil's face. That's the essence of who you are. More than conquerors, you are kings and queens. You were born for such a time as this. You are gifted for such a time as this, that everything the world says, that if you could just do the exact opposite, believe it or not, you'll either be in the perfect will of God or really, really close. If you just do those simple things and walk in the promises of the Bible— read your Bible, pray, sit in the presence, journal the word of God, declare victory over your life, declare healing over your life, declare bounty over your life— walk out the things that God wants you, he'll allow you. Because again, Deuteronomy 8:18 says that God gives you the capability to produce wealth, and he also says that it will give into you without painful toil. and no suffering. Okay, that's from Proverbs. And when you lean not on your own understanding and you stand on the promises of God and you do those things, you will be victory from victory to victory. And what you'll do is you'll, you'll steward the one talent, the $1, and that $1 will become $2, and that $2 become $5, the $5 become $10, and it'll continue to multiply. And as you walk this out over a lifetime, it doesn't matter if you're 80 right now or if you're 20, it's irrelevant. When you walk it out of a lifetime, God will bless you in so powerful ways. You will truly have a true Independence Day. You will have an Independence Day every single day of your life, and you will stay free and conquer every single thing that's in front of you and give glory to God. And when, when it is all said and done and the crowns are laid upon your head in heaven, it'll— you will hear this statement come from the throne, good and faithful son or daughter, come into the rest that you have deserved, for your faith has set you free. And that is what God will do for you in heaven. But in the interim, you will allow yourself to live an abundant life in a way that is unchanging, uncompromising, and unconquerable. But you will be unconquerable, and you will be able to operate in a posture of Independence, a real Independence Day every single day going forward, and you will never, never see defeat. I pray this message blesses you. If you feel inspired and blessed to support this ministry, please partner with us. We have an incredible vision in John Humenik Ministries that we are here to preach the gospel to the world. We're here to partner with a thousand churches and ministries to do that, and we are. Praying and continuing to have 1,000 confirmed salvations every single month. We had an amazing month in June. We're still tallying the numbers to figure out exactly where we're at, but we know we got close to that number. So if you want to partner with a ministry that is moving mountains in the kingdom of God, taking back territory and occupying the space that God has for us, then this is the ministry for you to partner with. You can go to our website Humenik.com/partner. That's spelled H-U-M-E-N-I-K.com/partner. We have all kinds of different options for you to partner, whether it's a single donation or a monthly partnership, and you will see how those donations come back into the ministry to go out and save souls, expand the kingdom of God, disciple the church and grow it, and continue this beautiful cycle. Winning back the kingdom, pulling heaven down to earth, as it says in the Our Father prayer, the Lord's Prayer, as God wants what it is in heaven to be pulled down to earth. And the blessings of God are there for us to take in because we are blessed with every blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. And since we operate in an open heaven, because when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at his baptism, it never closed. And you know that whatever you loose in heaven will be loosed on earth. You can operate in a kingdom mindset that will blow you away and a true Independence Day going forward. God bless.
