This is my testimony video to you. Yes, you, the person sitting across the screen from me. It's said in Revelation that we overcome the enemy and any obstacle in our life by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. I want you to join me on this journey today as I proclaim God's greatness over my life, and I want you to see how God can bless you in the same level of greatness in your No matter where you are in your walk with Jesus, that way we can all praise God for the wonderful things he has done, is doing, and will do in your life. Let's go! I was a firstborn child of an American citizen and a foreign national that was in the process of being naturalized as an American citizen. It's a true collision of 2 worlds yielding a new generation. It didn't take long for my story to take a turn For the worse. I wasn't even alive for very long before the doctors knew something was gravely wrong. Their new bouncing baby boy struggled to breathe. It wasn't just the development of lungs that was hampering my ability to breathe. It was that I had a blockage in my throat that threatened to extinguish my life before it even got started. A flame snuffed out before it became a fire. To this day, I'm not even sure how the devil knows who to attack and when. Could it be size of the angelic guard that's around a person, or do we give off a unique Unique holy glow that emanates from our beings, or is it something else? All I know, I was a target. The evil one wanted me dead before my life got started, just like he tried to snuff out Moses and Jesus by using the rulers to commit a child atrocity that still rings in the annals of the world. From the stories my mom told me, I had to have an emergency surgery to. Fix my breathing. I don't have a lot of details. The doctors removed whatever was in my throat that threatened my life. Even today, she doesn't even remember the details, probably shoving them into a repressed memory to hide the pain from that moment, something we all do from time to time as a coping mechanism if we don't lay that burden at the feet of Jesus. What I do know is Satan came for me that day. It was my first taste of knowing that God's grace was more than enough. The first weapon formed didn't prosper, the first of many weapons designed to kill me. That's the hidden power behind Isaiah 53:17, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Don't confuse the intent of weapons. They're not formed to injure, maim, or harm. Weapons are designed to kill, murder, and destroy. That's why this verse rings true in all of our lives. 'Cause if you're watching this video, you're a living miracle, a true miracle. All the weapons formed against you have failed. You may be thinking, my personal story didn't start like this. On the surface, that may be true, but if you go deeper, you'll find that all of our stories start at the same time. They all have the same amazing outlook, and you can find it in 1 Peter 1:20. The Apostle Peter said, God chose him, Jesus, as your ransom long before the world began. But now in these last days, he has been revealed for your sake. Jesus's mission was laid out before the dawn of time, before Genesis 1:1, and prior to God speaking, let there be light. Jesus was meant to save us from our sins, redeeming the world in order to reconcile humanity back to his Father. Jesus was the one person capable of doing it. He didn't hesitate to step up and die in our place. Let's go a little further. God has big plans for you and me. In Jeremiah 1:5, God spoke, I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. We were all ordained and our lives were laid out in God's mind Before this universe was put into motion, I was called to be great. You were called to be great. God wanted nothing less than perfection and joy for us all. An eternity spent in His presence, living out all that He had planned, all in advance for each of us. Fast forward to Adam and Eve, the first sin, and let's move forward another 6,000 years. We see a world that doesn't resemble the Garden of Eden. It's a far cry from paradise. What do these 3 scriptures all have in common? The answer is simple. God is timeless. He wrote the ending, your ending, my ending, at the same time He wrote the beginning. He spoke, it is done, at the same time He said, let there be light. I'll even go a step further. He knew about your post-eternity at the same time He planned this eternity. Post-eternity is the time after Revelation 22, the end of the world. It's even after the new heaven, the new earth, And the New Jerusalem are permanently put into place. God knows the entire storyline— past, present, and every part of your future, of my future. Why is this important? The Holy Spirit deposited unique traits within you to lead you to greatness. He wanted the best for you and your family. Even in this broken, sinful, and corrupt world, God established within all of us the traits to survive. Thrive, and quite literally dominate. Romans 8:36-37 boldly declares this. As it is written, for your sake we face death all day long. We are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. My prayer for you as we go along this journey with me, you'll find that God created you to be more than conquerors through Jesus who loved us. You'll find your true identity Even if that's eluded you your entire life. I know you might not feel that way. That's probably one of the reasons why you're watching this video. I know this for certain: whenever you start seeing yourself as God sees you and you let the Holy Spirit work in your life, I can promise you, you'll never be the same. The things you thought were impossible are not only possible, they'll be daily occurrences for you and everyone you love. I can assure you that even 2 years ago, I wasn't this bold or even confident in the faith God deposited in my life. I lived a double life for most of my life, a sinner and a son of God walking in the world while trying to walk in the kingdom of God. You see, I was saved at a very young age, 8 years old to be exact. I didn't even experience my first baptism of the Holy Spirit until I was 15. But that didn't fix my sin, the problem that was dominating my life. It just made me aware of it. The guilt and shame I carried crippled my ability to serve God and even build a relationship with Jesus. Jesus even said that no one can serve 2 masters. You will love one and despise the other. I remember in Sweet Home Alabama when Reese Witherspoon's dad told her that you can't ride 2 horses at once. Eventually you have to hold on to one and let go of the other. I lived with recurring sin in my life, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't break the sin off my back. It was more than sin. It was the sins that easily ensnared you. And it was even more than that. I was a saved Christian that loved sin more than I loved God. I was a walking, talking Christian that bore the fruit of the Spirit, yet would have no trouble from eating from the forbidden sinful fruit. I was stuck between 2 worlds, walking over a valley of death without a harness, net, or any safety equipment. Yet I remember declaring eventually I would overcome this worldly life. I just didn't know how. Enter the Holy Spirit. Fast forward 30 years. Yes, 30 years after my baptism of the Holy Spirit, 37 years after my salvation, something changed. I had grown tired of sinning and repenting for any intentional sin I was committing. It didn't matter what the sin was, if it was an intentional lie, an adulterous thought, or even an intentional disobedient action. I was done with sin, but sin wasn't done with me. My breakthrough finally came when I truly surrendered my actions to the Holy Spirit. After fighting the good fight for so long, I came to the conclusion that I never could ascend to the height where I had the power to win. I had to descend to the depths of the valley of humility. Where the Holy Spirit flows, there I found true power in my weakness. Each time he said, my grace is all you need, my power works best in weakness. So now I'm glad to boast about my weakness so that the power of Christ can work through me. That's the verse, 2 Corinthians 12:9. The kingdom of God is called the upside-down kingdom for a reason. It operates in total opposition to how the world tells you to work. Do you want to be strong? Then become submissive. Do you want real power? Give up your will. Do you want to be used by God? Place your possessions on the altar so that they can be burned up and that all that's left is you and God. I didn't know that. I've read the Bible cover to cover many times, yet I was blinded by the evil one to see the truth. Let me explain this another way. You're probably familiar with this verse: Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. It comes from the most famous sermon in the Bible, the Sermon on the Mount. Meek is a terrible translation for the Greek word preious. In fact, there isn't even an English word that matches the actual definition of the Greek word. Preious doesn't mean weakness or timidness. That's related to meekness. Preious means exercising God's strength Under God's control. It means you demonstrate his power with undue harshness. It means you are a conqueror that knows when to give mercy and when to wield God's power. Now look at that verse again with this explanation. Blessed are those who exercise God's power under God's control. They will inherit the earth. Exercising God's power means you don't sheathe the sword. It means you use the sword. You use God's authority that he gave you so that you can develop in you the restraint to give you more power and authority. That was my problem. I had God's authority, power, and dominion, and I was using it for myself. I wasn't using it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I had irrevocable gifts. But I wasn't using them under God's will. I had to surrender my will fully to the Holy Spirit. Then breakthrough happened, and did it ever. I lived 45 years by this point struggling through the simplest problems when I could have just given them to God, trust him with all the issues, and then listen to the small, still voice that would change my life forever. We see throughout the Bible that Jesus healed when faith was present. Healing starts at the point of surrender. Inner healing, your emotions, and your mind starts at the point of surrender, the point where your faith begins and your trust Is the foundation you stand upon. Walking by faith when there's nothing in front of you that tells you it's real, but your inner spirit person tells you, no, that's something different. I gave up every problem to God. When I had an issue at work, I gave it to him. I let him guide me through the natural while he added his super on top of it. It continued with radical obedience. I would get words of knowledge for people. God told me to walk up to them and give it to them. It was more than I love you. Those words God spoke through me were personal, powerful, and highly edifying. He gave me warnings when the enemy was about to attack. He made the plans known for me to avoid the landmines, or even just hunker down and trust him to get me through this storm. God broke my physical infirmities off. Epic back pain, Gone. Migraines, eye pain, gone. Weight problems, done away with. Even the generational curse that claimed the majority of my dad's side of the family was broken like a clay pot over concrete. God was obedient to his word. In fact, God was always obedient to his word, including the parts that included discipline for me. I needed to do my part to be obedient to him. Put him first. Stop putting my wife in front of him. Stop putting my kids in front of him. Stop putting my work or my career in front of him. And this one stung the most. Stop putting my work in the church, in the ministry, in front of him. When I prioritized God and his will on my life first, then everything changed. He activated powerful latent gifts that I didn't even know I had. My family and I broke free of financial problems and moved south away from the oppressive principalities. That were dominating the Northeast. I found a Spirit-led church that wasn't afraid of deliverance, using all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and landed in a community of believers willing to be open about their walk with Christ so that I could join them in my walk with Christ. It didn't matter if any of us sinned. We confessed it openly. The devil has no power over things that are brought to light. He has the power over the things that stay hidden in the darkness. God opened doors in my life that I never could have opened myself. He knew about things that were in the natural world that would have been impossible for me to figure out. He lined up the last 2 years of my life in a way that was literally the perfect will of God on my life. I have seen more firsthand miracles in the last 2 years than what's documented in the New Testament. Just like the Apostle John wrote at the end of his gospel, if he had wrote about all the things Jesus did, The world couldn't contain the books. God is moving today just as He was yesterday, even as powerfully as He did 2,000 years ago. When Jesus walked the earth, there's a reason why Jesus said that you will do these and greater things. Greater miracles than Jesus? Yep, there's 2 in the book of Acts. When Peter healed many people with just his shadow, and Paul blessed handkerchiefs, and then when they touched Anyone. They drove out demons and they were healed. God the Father doesn't change. Jesus doesn't change. The Holy Spirit doesn't change. If they performed miracles before, how could they stop now? We just didn't see them. We didn't want to see them. God opened my eyes and I could finally see. I could see Him moving through the storms of my life. I could see the silver lining throughout the paths that I was walking. When a season came to a turbulent end, I knew that what I had gained was prepping me for the next season that was in front of me. Makes you wonder where this old adage comes from: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. There have been things that I have seen with my own eyes that would have been almost impossible to believe and even more impossible to forget, like a demon-possessed lady that collapsed during one of David Diga Hernandez's events in Orlando. She looked like a corpse. I mean, the same kind that you see The world hang up at Halloween. Another lady and I prayed over her. Within minutes, the demon left her. The next day, she looked 50 years younger, a totally new person. When you see demons manifest and take over a non-believer's body, and you can have a conversation with pure evil, those moments are etched in your memory. If there's a devil, then there must be a God. I learned one thing. You can speak whatever name you want in those situations. Pick your prophet, your savior, your god. There's only one name that drives out demons. That's the name of Jesus. No one else. The world would tell me that I'm middle-aged, I'm over the hill, I got one foot in a grave. God has shown me that my life is far from over. He's just getting started with me. A new creation seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. There are so many stories that God used people that are much older than me to do the work of the kingdom. I mean, Caleb was 85 years young when Joshua son of Nun allowed him to go up and take the mountain for the tribe of Judah. 85 years old. No, 85 years strong. I want to encourage you today. You haven't lost time. You weren't a lost cause. You haven't squandered your life. No, God's the only one powerful enough to redeem all your lost time. God's got you exactly where he wants you. He'll use all those seasons that you thought were useless for his glory. Your tests as a testimony, your past and conquered pain as an opportunity to relate to someone who may have just started experiencing what you just walked through. That's the power of the blood and the words of our testimony. We overcome. I learned a long time ago that Jesus is ever-present in every good and bad moment. He's there with outstretched arms waiting for us to embrace him. All I had to learn was to surrender, give him my pain, and give him a hug. He replaced my suffering with peace, my stress with joy. He showed me that his love never fails. When you understand that love starts with patience and kindness, rejoices with the truth, it always protects, Always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres, then you realize that God loves you as much as he loves Jesus. That's why Jesus died in your place, because God wanted a family and there was no other way to get it. I see myself in that light now. I see myself as God sees me. Let me tell you, when God reveals to you how he sees you, as a king's son or a daughter, perfect royalty, It really does change your life forever. I want to share one last message with you.
