In this short devotional, the speaker presents what he calls the number‑one secret to having answered prayers, drawing directly from Matthew 6:6. He outlines four practical steps: (1) pray every day, interpreting the verse’s lack of a time limit as a call to daily prayer; (2) choose a consistent, purpose‑filled private space for prayer; (3) shut the door and eliminate distractions, both physically and mentally, to quiet the soul and hear the Spirit; and (4) pray to the Father in secret, allowing the Holy Spirit and Jesus to guide the words of prayer. Did you know that Jesus gave you the number one secret to always getting your answers prayer? In Matthew 6:6, there are secrets that answer prayer that most people totally miss. The number one is it says that when you pray, it doesn't say if you pray, it means that every person needs to be praying every single day. Second, it says go into your room and you need to have a place that you consistently go to with a purpose and intention to seek God and pray. Number 3, you need to shut the door. This is your secret place. Both physically in getting alone and getting quiet, but also removing yourself from all distraction. This quiets your soul and you can begin to hear from your spirit. And number 4, pray to your Father who is in secret, where then the Holy Spirit in Jesus joins with you, guiding with you what to say, and allows your prayers to come to be.
