Hello, my name is Caitlin Humenik, and today I will be talking to you about passion after breakthrough. But before we can get to that, we must first talk about how to get to the breakthrough. Subscribe to our channel for more content like this. Let's start off by praying. Father God, we come into your presence by the blood of your Son Jesus Christ. We thank you for this day, Father. We thank you for the viewers watching, Father God. I just pray that I can decrease so you can increase, Father God. Let let the words come out be. Spirit-led, Father God, everything led by you, let it plant seeds in someone today so they can harvest something great in the future. In Jesus' name, amen. We're first gonna go through the Christian walk of faith and how breakthrough, how to receive breakthrough in the midst of hardships, because hardships are a part of the Christian walk of faith. And we can, we can first talk about the hardships. Hardships are inevitable. Jesus in fact tells us to expect hardships because we live in a sinful world, and sometimes things just happen and we just have to go, go with the flow in a sense. Sometimes troubles can come unexpectedly or even after repeated warnings, but again, it's inevitable. We can't always avoid it, but God can allow hardship sometimes in our lives to shape us and to build us up. Adversity can build your faith as well. That's the whole point, is that when you fail or make a mistake, it's meant for you to learn from it. It's meant for you to understand how to do better next time. That's actually what I like about making mistakes in a sense, is that when you do, you now know what not to do and what to do. Because sometimes if you get it right on the first try, you don't exactly know what you shouldn't do. until you do it. So I think that mistakes are a great learning experience, and that's part of the Christian walk of faith. That's part of the things we have to go through in this life, and we can go through it best by looking at it with joy. It says in James that we can take every circumstance and everything that we go through, we must rejoice because God already has victory. Jesus won that victory on the cross. And as long as we keep that mindset, we can get through anything. Because in Philippians 4:13, it says that God gives us strength. It's through God that we have our strength. It's not, it's not by our own strength that we can do anything. It's not by our own strength that the impossible is accomplished. It's by God, God's strength that he gives us. That's right. So that's a great reminder for anyone struggling through adversity, because it's God that gets us through it. It's not ourselves. It's not anything that we do, except simply humbling ourselves and letting God do the rest. Um, and sometimes even being faithful to God can bring persecution and adversity. But Jesus tells us in John chapter 18 in the NLT version, if the world hates me— hates you, remember that it hated me first. I love this verse because it constantly just reminds us that, like, Jesus tells us to expect hardship. He tells us to expect persecution specifically because we belong to him. The world hates him. If you're of the world, you're not gonna be hated. But if you're on the side of Jesus, you're gonna receive persecution. But God gives us a crown in heaven for that, and there's rewards for that in heaven as well. And it's just, it's honestly encouraging to know that the world hated Jesus himself. Jesus was walking on this earth and people hated him. People didn't like him. So it just shows that it's like, you can be perfect, Literally, and the world still won't like you. So what's the point in trying to be like the world? What's the point in trying to fit in? In fact, we're not supposed to because God God calls us to stand out. God calls us to be ambassadors on this world, in this world, to represent God, represent Jesus, represent who He is, so that we can bring people to the feet of Jesus. We can bring more people to the cross, more people that can be saved and resurrected with Jesus as well. In Proverbs chapter thirteen verses twenty one in the N L. NLT version, it says, troubles chase sinners while blessings reward the righteous. And in Galatians chapter 6, verses 8, in the NLT version, it says, those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature, but those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. I love this verse as well because it's just showing that You harvest, you plant, whatever you plant, you're going to harvest. So when you're following the Holy Spirit, when you're planting the seeds he's telling you to plant, you will harvest something great. He promises that he will, he will bless that fivefold, tenfold, a hundredfold even. But he will bless your generosity. He will bless you being Spirit-led in itself, you being faithful to God. He will bless that. He will bless your obedience. So that's really important. Because it literally says you will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit if you live to please the Spirit. So that should be something that we should all be focusing on in this life because it's not about us. It's, um, it's about us bringing heaven down to earth. It's about us being ambassadors of Christ. As I said before, avoiding, um, avoiding sin can also help you to avoid a great deal of adversity because a lot of the time when we make bad choices and when we sin, again, you reap what you sow. So that's just gonna follow you if you, if you're always gonna choose to be obedient to God and you're being faithful. You can avoid a lot of that adversity that you would get if you weren't being faithful. So that's also encouragement too, is that we just need to focus on being faithful to God. God protects his children. So there are so many things in this world that are gonna try to harm you and to try To even kill you, but no weapon formed against you shall prosper. It says that in God's Word, and we can stand on that because although it can be formed, it will not prosper. So it will not succeed. And I constantly go back to that verse because it's encouraging to know that through everything that we go through, it will not prosper. It's encouraging to use that verse walking into potential scary seasons because you know something's big ahead, and you can potentially be afraid of what's to come. And what will be in that. But whenever you understand that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, like, you can go into that new season, that new opportunity with confidence because God has your back. And we have to trust that because God keeps his promises and he's faithful to that. And that's just— it's just so encouraging to know that we can rely on him in that sense. In Proverbs chapter 12, verses 13, in the NLT version, it says The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble. So, as I said before, trouble can often be the result of your own sin or your own poor decisions. Even simply speaking words of death—the tongue has the power of death and life. So it's important to understand what you're speaking as well, because you still—you reap what you sow. You can still be planting. certain seeds just by the words you speak. So that's also why we have to be careful with what we say to other people and how we say it as well, because that can— a lot of things can come back to you in that sense if you're not being careful with what it is. In Jonah chapter 1, verses 3 through 4 in the NLT, it says, but Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. He found a ship leaving for Tarshish, but the Lord hurled a perfect— or a powerful wind over the sea. We can expect to find ourselves in deep trouble if we insist on running away from God as well, because God is telling us to walk in a certain direction. And if we refuse to walk away, just like Jonah did, he ended up in the belly of a big fish for 3 days. And that was not meant to harm him in any way. That was meant to teach him a lesson that when God wants to use you, you should be honored by that. Whenever he wants to use you as a vessel for his kingdom, that that's an honor. That's something that we should be thankful for because he doesn't trust just anyone to do everything. He picks certain people to carry out certain tasks because of how they've proved themselves to be obedient, to be faithful. And that's, that's part of that. And it's, um, it's something honoring when God chooses you to do something that you, um, you can look back and see like, thank you, Lord, for, for choosing me for this assignment, or thank you for allowing, for equipping me, for allowing me to carry this out, to bring someone else to the feet of Jesus, for example. In Psalm chapter 62, verses 3 through 4, in the NLT, it says, so many enemies against one man, all of them trying to kill me. They delight in telling lies about me. Sometimes troubles are undeserved and caused by others too, but that's, that's also the world we live in. We have to, again, just kind of go with the flow, go where the Spirit leads us. Um, and we have to, we have to just make sure that we are being Spirit-led in the things that we're doing. But God still protects us. He still protects his children as well. And again, that's a promise that we can always hold on to. The whole point of all of this is just to show that the trouble that comes your way in life is not meant to discourage you, because the joy of the Lord is literally our strength. It says in Nehemiah chapter 8, verses 10, in the NLT, don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is our Strength. I've always heard this verse for many years, but it wasn't actually until recently that I realized what it was actually saying: that when you have, when you receive the joys of the Lord, you literally receive the strength of God. So it's just, it's crazy to think about that because a lot of time there's so many verses that we kind of that just kind of go over our head, and we kind of just in a sense. We forget the meaning of it because we don't take the time to understand what it truly means, because we just hear it so much and we don't—we just don't understand it. So going back to this verse and realizing that when you receive the joy of the Lord, that's when your strength comes. You when you receive the joy of the Lord, it's unexplainable. I can't even explain what it's like to receive an overflow of God's joy because it's like you. It's like drinking a lot of caffeine and you feel like you're bouncing off all the walls and you want to do everything and you feel motivated to do anything. You feel strengthened to do anything. That's the overflowing joy of the Lord. And he wants to give you that because that's your portion too. He wants you to receive the joy. He wants you to receive the strength he has for you because that's for you. But we have to humble ourselves. We have to actually receive that from him. First. Um, God, um, God protects us as well whenever— going back to what we said before about how, like, when trouble comes your way, we can't, we can't be discouraged by that because God wants what's best for us. So when we're being Spirit-led, you have to trust that where the Holy Spirit's leading you is where you should be going. Sometimes when we don't understand where we're going, it's kind of hard to trust. Sometimes it's hard to Um, kind of picture where it would go because sometimes we literally can't see where we're going. But that's the whole point of the Holy Spirit. We can, we can trust him and he's— it's almost as if we're wearing a blindfold and, um, God is literally guiding us by our hand and telling us all of these obstacles that are in front of us. He's telling us where to step, how many steps to take. That's, that's what it's like to be led by the Holy Spirit because we're, we're literally blind without him. And it's just, that's just such an important thing in the walk of, in your walk of faith with Jesus, because it's all about being Spirit-led. That's, if you, if you could say one, if you could recap the Bible in one sentence, it's just being Spirit-led. Because everything that the Bible talks about obviously has a foundation of love, because it's always going to have that, because God is love. But it's about being Spirit-led. Everything in the Bible is just about being Spirit-led. In the Old Testament, the New Testament. All the Proverbs, Psalms, it's just about being Spirit-led. So we learn in school when something is repeated that it's important. And because that is repeated so many times throughout the Bible, the overall meaning of everything, it shows how important it is to be Spirit-led. If you think about it, again, we're blind in this world without God. God is the one that gives us new vision. He's the one that resurrects our spirit whenever we come to him with salvation. He's the one that restores us. He's the one that purifies us. He's the one that gives us grace and peace and strength and everything that we may need in our walk of faith. So we can't do this life without him, and we, we must make sure that we're reflecting on that and that we focus on who he is, because he's the one that will take us everywhere we need to go. And when you, when you look back at that and you understand, um, that how faithful God is, you start to trust him more. And you start to realize that, like, when God tells you to do something, even if you don't understand it, you know that it's in your best interest because God loves you and he wants what's best for you. And sometimes that can take a while for some people. For me, it's, it's something I've always struggled with in the past, at least, is just trusting God because you have to first understand his character. You have to read all throughout the Bible to see how He is so faithful to all of his promises. Everything that he says, he fulfills, and he doesn't lie. So he's not going to tell you to go somewhere and say, "Oops, I didn't mean to send you over there." You know, he's not—he's not going to take back his word. So when he says something, you know that you can stand on that. And that's just like been a really big encouragement for me personally recently—is that it's like reminding yourself that if he tells you to do something, you don't have to look back on that. You don't have to. If you hear the opposite voice of saying, "Oh wait, wait! Don't do that. Do this instead." You guarantee that that's not God because God, His His word doesn't return void. It's not gonna. He's not gonna change His mind and say, "Oh wait, I forgot to tell you this. I didn't tell you that." Or you should have done this instead because He tells you what to do, and He's gonna hold. He's gonna hold Himself to that, and He's gonna hold you to that as well because He's faithful, and He's not. He's not going to. Take back what he said. He doesn't make mistakes. Um, one time I think I was— sometimes I know we can also question God too, but we do have to make sure to ask for forgiveness for that because we, we shouldn't be doubting God either. But I remember one time I was asking God about something and he told me the answer to it, and I was like questioning because I'm like, is this something God would say? And I think he said something along the lines of mistakes aren't in my vocabulary or something like that. But it was refreshing to hear that. But it's also true because he doesn't make mistakes. So he's not gonna hesitate on what he has to say for you. I mean, if you think about it, before the world was even created, he knew what you're gonna do today. He knew what you were gonna make for breakfast today. He knew what you did 10 years ago. He knew He knew the thing. He knows the things that you're going to do in the future. All of those things that that you're walking out, where you're tell he's asking you to go here, to go there. When you're asking him for direction here, when he tells you make a right on this road, he knew that he was going to have to tell you that before he even created the world. Whenever you take the time to think about that, it's it's crazy to think about because it's hard to process in our. In our minds, but when you think about that, you understand that He already knew what was going to happen. So He's not going to take back His word. He's not going to change His mind and say something else like, "Oh, instead go go left, go left, go go straight." Whenever He originally meant to say right, He's not going to change His mind. And the whole point of that is to say that when He tells you something, you need to listen to that because it's gonna go in. You're gonna go in the direction. Where you're supposed to be. You're not going to end up in a ditch. You're not going to end up somewhere you're not supposed to be. He always has the best interest for you, so he will tell you what to do, and you need to listen to that. But we need to learn how to trust that too, because a lot of the time he will test you without you even knowing what's going to happen next. He will test you to see if you're just going to be obedient anyway. I've been learning recently that it's like, why question God Because he already knows what's going to happen. He you already know that he has the best interest for you. You know that he loves you. You know that he he wants everything prosperous for you. So why would he lead you somewhere that doesn't have prosperity, which which doesn't lead to refreshing of strength and energy and an overpouring of joy? Why would he lead you in the opposite direction of that? And that's why it's like we should we need to stop questioning God and just listen. And that's not That's easier, easy said than done because we want a lot of the time we want control. We want to know what's ahead of us. We want to know what's going to happen because we want to feel prepared for it. But God already has us prepared. He has already given us the tools. That's the whole point of Philippians 4:13 when it says that the strength that comes from God allows you to do the impossible. That's not that that's saying when you come into any any circumstance that he Yeah. Sends you to, he literally has given you the strength to endure that. He's given you the strength and the tools to work through that and to do what you're supposed to do. So that it shows that it's like, that's why we can trust him, because he doesn't just send us out naked. He, he gives us clothes to cover us. He gives us the, the armor on top of that. He gives us the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith. He, he gives us all of these things so we can be prepared. And we may not see that ahead of time. We may not see what's going to come and what the kind of tools or the characteristics that we can use to accomplish something in the future, but we know that he's going to give it to us. And a lot of the time, sometimes we won't even know what we need to do until we get to that point and we literally stop to ask the Holy Spirit, what do I do? Because sometimes, sometimes you're going to be put in those situations where you actually don't know what to do, and the whole point is to rely on him because he has Your assignment. He has everything He needs to give you. He has all the wisdom, knowledge, understanding of this whole world. He has everything. So we can't, we can't question whenever He tells us to do something. We just have to learn to hear His voice. We have to learn to understand who, who's speaking to us and which voice is the enemy, which voice is ours. And once you can learn that, once you understand what God's voice sounds like, you understand who He is. You just listen because you know that everything good is coming from it. Um, and as well as when going back to hardships in the walk of faith, the best thing you can do is pray. Um, anything in any situation, all you should do is pray because praying is just communication with God. It doesn't have to be something fancy and long and, um, scripted out beforehand. It can simply just be you rejoicing for what the Lord has done in your life. That's That's a prayer because it's communication to God. So we can we need to learn to pray throughout the day as well. That's something I'm starting to learn how to do better is just praying in every circumstance because a lot of the time when we go through things, we kind of we we think that like we have to take the time to say this whole big prayer when you can. But in fact, it's like you can just thank God in the moment if if. Like you've been praying for something and you receive it in that moment, or you receive it later on. You just saying thank you, Jesus, in that moment—that's that's a prayer. That's just a short prayer. And when we when we view prayer in that way, that not only it's simply just communication to God, but it can just be as simple as that, we we start to prioritize it more. We start to focus on it more because when we're when we're more focused on a prayerful mindset, we're we're focused on what God wants. We're focused on. Things of God. Whenever we take the time to pray, like asking God for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment, strength, anything that we may need, we start to focus on him because we know that all of those things come from him. And prayer is also a form of worship. It is again how you communicate to him. So you can also simply just glorify him in the moment. That, that can be an act of prayer because that's also an act of worship. Prayer to God is also— it's a dialogue, not a monologue. I heard someone say this a while back and it stuck with me because a lot of the time when we go and pray, we just kind of give our requests to God and then leave the room and just go about our day. But whenever some— I don't know who it was, but someone said that when you're talking to God, it's a dialogue. You have to allow him to speak to you as well. It's not just a monologue where you're, you're giving him the request and then you're done. And that that really hit for me because it makes you realize that we we need to humble ourselves better before God and understand that in fact we probably should be listening to God more than we're giving Him requests and we're asking Him to do things. And don't be afraid to do that. God will answer your prayers, and He may not answer it in the way that you want to, but God will always answer your prayers in some way. And you can ask your request to God. You can give your request to God, and He will. He will answer that. But I feel like more more things come from us just listening because we we still sin every single day. So we we need to understand like God, what do I need to do better? What did I do well today? What did I what do I need to do better for tomorrow? What is something that I can change? How can I change my behavior? How can I change my attitude? What is something I did good today that I can continue to do? And focus on doing? What is something that I can— what is a way I can start planting more seeds? What is a way I can give back to you in any way? Whether that's by just giving back tithes and offerings, or something as simple as using the wisdom he has given you and giving that to someone else. That's planting seeds in other people. We need to start asking God, like, what do you want me to do? What is something you want to say to me right now? Because that's where we start That's where we improve. When we're in that place, that's where you start getting all of that wisdom and knowledge, and he starts filling you up with everything that you need. The overflowing joy, the indescribable peace. I can't—I literally—I use that word indescribable because I literally can't describe the peace that he gives you. Like, I don't know how to explain it to anyone who hasn't felt it before. You just have to go and receive it because. It is it is amazing to just it feels like I don't know it just feels like you're floating on clouds. I don't know how to explain it. It's just an amazing feeling whenever you have received the peace of the Lord because nothing shakes you, nothing bothers you, nothing nothing gets in your way because you have everything else when you have that peace. Everything after in the fruit of the spirit talks about love, joy, peace. Everything after peace you have once you receive peace. When you receive love, you receive all that fruit after that's listed after love. That's why it's in a certain order. So it's, it's just crazy to think about all of these things that we can receive from the Lord and how much he wants to pour into you. God wants to pour into all, all of this wisdom and knowledge. He wants to heighten your senses, your discernment, so you can understand what's going on around you. He wants you to focus on the assignment he's given you because he's called you out for a purpose. And whatever that purpose is, it has a purpose in this kingdom. But you have to figure that out with God. It has to be something that God's calling you to do, and he will tell you. Because when you take the time to listen, he will, he will give you everything that you need. And that's the important thing about being in the presence of God, is it's about what he wants. If he wants you to just take the time to listen to worship music for a little bit first, just so that you can lift your spirit up to him and that you can just lift off the burdens that you're carrying, do that. If he's just telling you to just start praying for someone, do that too. This is again being spirit-led. That's the important part when you're in God's presence is what does he want to give you? What does he want to pour into you? And that's the importance of a dialogue, not a monologue. It's about talking to him and then listening to him. That's what a conversation is about. It's the same thing as talking with a friend is you're You're gonna, you're gonna say your part, and then you're gonna listen for their part. You're gonna listen to them, and you're not going to— a lot of the time I feel like this is personally what I've gone through, is that sometimes I get eager to talk. So when someone else is talking, when I'm in a conversation with someone and the other person's talking, I would get eager to say something next, or I would be like almost planning on what I want to say next instead of just listening. To them. And God has been teaching me a lot about that for the past couple years. And that's the same thing with God, is that when he's speaking to us, we need to just listen, and we need to just surrender our desire to just talk over him, to be the one to talk, to have the spotlight in a sense. Because he will give you the opportunity to give your requests to him, to— for you to pray to him. But I think it's just really important that we understand That we need to just focus on what God wants to say because He's literally the Creator of the universe. He has all of the knowledge in the world, so He—you can ask Him anything honestly, and He will just He will pour into you what in within His will what He's able to give you. But it's just about listening to Him because we receive so much more when we do that. I mean, praying to Him could just be when it comes to your part. It can just be you telling him your thoughts and your feelings for the day, or simply praising him or thanking him, confessing sin, or asking for help or advice. Recently in my quiet time, God has been— he would first, at least initially, say something like, I'm proud of you, or, you're doing well, or, I want you to start fixing this or focusing on this, and then he will leave it open. Like leave it as like an open mic for me to ask any question I want. He's been telling me literally ask me any question you want and whatever whatever's in my will that I'm gonna give you is what I'm gonna answer to. And it's just really cool when you think about that because you can literally ask him anything. Obviously, he may not answer all of them because it may not be the time for you to hear it just yet. But you can literally ask him anything because he's your father and he has the best advice out there, literally because he's the Creator again, the Creator of the universe. He's the one that created wisdom and knowledge, all of this understanding. He's the source of that. So what better way to get the wisdom than to go to the source of it? Um, the essence of prayer as well is to humble yourself when you're entering the presence of God. We need to humble ourselves before the Lord because, um, he— we're— when we step into his presence, it's holy. His presence is holy. He himself is holy. So we we can't forget that. We can't forget that he himself is holy. So we can't just like be kind of fooling around and just messing around with the things that we're saying. And not that we do, but we have to be careful because a lot of the time we get too comfortable with God. And I'm not talking about in a vulnerable position where you're able to open yourself up to God. I'm talking about comfortable, a comfortable feeling where you you feel like you can. Do anything in his presence, um, in regards to like fooling around or not really taking him seriously or allowing the enemy to interfere in those things. We have to remember that it's holy ground. We're, we're in the presence of the Lord, so we have to honor that. We have to be respecting of that. That's part of the, the reverence for God is when you're humbling yourself towards him, you're, you're basically saying, God, I'm a sinner, but you call me out To be righteous, we have we receive the righteousness of Christ because of what He did on the cross. And you have to understand that that's that's the main part of it. It's like this is we're talking about breakthrough right now. So the main part about that is humbling yourself because we can't surrender the burdens that we have that we're holding all of that weight. We can't surrender that until we admit that we need help because you can't. He's not going to force you to do anything. He's not going to force anything on you. So. We need to admit that we need help. That's that's part of humbling ourselves, and sometimes that's not easy. But when we when we understand what we gain from it, the fact that you you lose the heaviness, but then you gain indescribable peace and overflowing joy and abundant strength—all of this stuff. When you realize everything that you gain from it, you don't want to hold that anymore. And I know that sometimes with certain people that when they feel heavy, sometimes you can be holding on to that for so long that it gets numb in a sense where you don't, you don't feel like you're heavy anymore. And later in this stream, I will talk about my personal testimony that literally just happened, I think like a few days ago, of me receiving breakthrough and the process leading up to that and everything after, which is why it's the, the stream today is called Passion After Breakthrough, because it's talking about leading up to finding that breakthrough, and then after that breakthrough and remaining free from that. Because that after-breakthrough feeling is what can keep you free, because you're motivated to pursue Jesus more. And we'll get into that later, but I wanted to talk about a verse in 2 Chronicles in chapter 7, verses 14 in the NLT. And it says, then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves And pray and seek my face, and then turn from their wicked ways. I will hear from heaven. And that's going back to the humility part. We need to humble ourselves because he hears the prayers of the righteous. So we have to we have to remain humble in that sense of understanding that we need help from God. We need the things that he wants to give us. We need a Savior in general. In Psalm chapter thirty-eight verses eighteen in the NLT, it says, "But I confess my sins. I am deeply sorry for what I have done." And that's part of the surrendering part. That's part of humbling ourselves is understanding that we've sinned against him, that we need to ask for forgiveness. But he again is faithful to forgive. He is—he's going to forgive you. We just have to make sure that we surrender that to him and that we've forgiven other people first. In first John chapter one verses nine in the NLT version, it says, "But if we confess our sins to him," He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. Again, going back to his character, he, as said in this verse, he's faithful, he's just, he's going to restore you back to exactly the way he made you to be. And he wants to replenish you. He wants to refresh you. He wants to give you all these things. And he's faithful to do that. And we can trust him that he will do that. Um, Me speaking off of experience, I know if no one has ever gone through the process of surrendering their burdens and receiving that peace, it is amazing. Because again, that peace that you receive from it is literally indescribable. I just, I don't know how to describe it in words. That's the point, is that those things that God gives us, I can't possibly describe it in words. You just have to receive it for yourself and Feel that for yourself because it's just I don't it's just that amazing. Those are the things that He gives us. It's it's prosperous. The things that they last forever. Those are the things that fulfill us is God. Everything of Him. He is the one that fulfills us. So we can't go anywhere else to receive that. We can't go to anywhere anywhere in the world, any person in the world, anything in the world to receive the peace of God. Because it's the peace of God, so it only comes from him. It comes from surrendering to him. We can't receive the, the overflowing joy that gives you motivation and hope for a future, hope for what's going to happen in the future. You can't receive any of that from the world. You can only receive that from God. And we can trust, we can trust that. We can trust him because it says that in his word, and his word is truthful. We can trust that everything is God-breathed in his word. So that means that he— everything he's saying in his word is for you. It's truth. So we need to hold on to that and not forget it, because those are the things he wants to give us. He wants to give you peace. He wants to give you rest in your situation. If you're feeling heavy, or if you don't even know if you're heavy— because honestly, if you don't even— if you don't even know you're heavy, you're probably carrying something, because The peace of God is so evident that you, you will know that you have the peace of God. And that's honestly something that is just a great way to, a great pointer to go forth. Because when we feel numb, which I, I can't even describe how that feels because it's literally when you feel like if your finger gets numb, you can't feel it. That's, that's the point is when you feel like spiritually numb or Mentally numb, and you don't know if you're feeling heavy because that's exactly how I felt a few days ago before I received my breakthrough. Is I I was looking back at it, and I was like, "I don't even know if I'm heavy." Like I feel I feel groggy. I feel tired all the time, and I feel like I I just feel sluggish. But I don't really know if I just really feel heavy. I may I may feel a little bit heavy, but it wasn't until I received the peace and the overflowing joy and all of that energy from God. That I realized how much I was really carrying. And that's, that's something that it's so important to realize, that it's like we don't— we're going through so much in life that we don't realize how much we really are carrying. And we can't receive the peace of God until we give him the things we're carrying. Um, which is why later in this stream I will talk about how to do that, how to surrender that to God. And how to physically put an action to that. And then from that, he's faithful to give you your rest. Because it says in Matthew 11:28, everyone who's carrying heavy burdens, I will give you rest for that. He will take your pain, he will take your heaviness, and he will replace it with peace. And again, going back to what I said before, sometimes we can feel heavy, physically. And sometimes we can— we, we just don't even realize that we're heavy because we're just used to it. We're just used to doing the same thing every day and not receiving that peace that we don't even realize that we, we don't have it. Um, but that's the, the whole point about the fact that it's unexplainable, because you will know if you have the peace of God. Like, you, you won't be walking around All sleepy and groggy and literally feeling heavy if you have the peace of God. That's how you know that you have it because you don't have to worry about everything. The peace of God comes with that unending hope that you know that when troubles come your way, you know that God's going to take care of it. He's going to give you the wisdom to battle in that, to move around these obstacles that are in front of you. He will give you the things you need and you have that hope that He will. You have a hope for the future of knowing that He will supply all of His promises to you. He will. All of the things that are in the Bible, all of His promises are for you. So you can go back and even just look up what all the promises of God, all the promises that He gives His children. Every single one of those is for you. All of that is for you. It's not about what you've done in your past or How how heavy you even feel now because all of those promises are for you. It's meant to set you free and to live for you to live a prosperous life. That's that's the whole point of it. He wants you to live a free life. He died for you to have a free life. He died for you to live in freedom. He died for you to live with peace. He died for you to have unexplainable joy that produces so many other things. The motivation. Just in your daily work to get things done within the right amount of time that you need to. I've been— that's also part of the testimony I will talk about, is I've been struggling so much with time management and managing this and managing that and just getting things done when I'm supposed to. And I just felt like I was kind of leaning back into almost like a lazy state in a sense, where I was coming into agreement with the spirit of laziness and It wasn't until I received the joy that I just had unending motivation. When you when you understand what it's like to have incredible motivation to get something done, you do things so efficiently. I can't I can't even explain that. You want to you actually want to get things done. That's actually the difference is when you when you want to get things done, you literally go about it with a different mindset because you're you're thinking about how can I do this better? What can I do, um, in this instance or that instance? How can I shave down time with this? How can I, um, make more time later? All of these things. And making— even making time to simply rest in the day, to just enjoy yourself. You're motivated to get it all done. Um, even with like something like exercise, like sometimes that's hard for me to just get up and exercise and go to the gym, for example. But when you have that motivation, you just make time for it because you want to. It's not, it's not even about— at that point, it's not even about pushing yourself to do something you don't want to do because it will benefit you later, although discipline is very important. But when you have that joy of the Lord, which is your portion every single day, you have that motivation every single day. So you don't— at that point, you don't even have to discipline yourself, because discipline— the difference between motivation and discipline is that motivation You're, you're driving, you're pursuing to do something because you want to do it. With discipline, you're doing something and you're pushing yourself to do something that you need to do despite how you feel. So it's, it's, it can be about how you feel, but with the motivation that, that comes with the hope that God gives you, at that, again, at that point, you don't even need discipline because you just want to do the things that the Lord calls you to do. If he's giving you a daily schedule and he's He's telling you, do this today, do that tomorrow, or even if he's planning out the whole week for you, you feel so ready to get that done because you're so focused on him, because you've received the portion that he wants to give you. You receive that joy that he wants to give you. And it's more— joy is also a choice. It's more than just a feeling of being happy. Like, there's so much more that goes with joy, and it's not until you fully receive it that you understand that. It's It's just, I don't know how, I don't know how to explain any of this except the fact that you, you have a different perspective on life. You go about life doing what God wants you to, and you're doing it with joy. You're doing it because you want to do it. You want to carry out the will of God. It's not, it's not even about like, oh well, God's telling me to do this and I'm gonna listen because I know I have to, but I really don't want to do it because it's uncomfortable. At that point, even if God's telling you to do something uncomfortable, you're literally happy to do it because you know what comes from it. You know that you learn from it. You know that he pours even more into you because of that obedience as well. It's— that joy is just unexplainable. And that's what comes after breakthrough. That's why this is so important to understand. How do we get to breakthrough? Because this is what comes after breakthrough. That's why we have to, we have to focus on what God wants to give us. He wants that joy for you. He wants to give you perfect peace. But you have to surrender everything you're holding in order to receive that. If you're carrying a bunch of bricks and a bunch of heavy weights and you're carrying like a weighted vest and you're dragging because of all this weight and your hands are full, so how do you You can't expect for God to give you what he wants to give you if you're holding all of this. If you're, if you're carrying all of this stuff, you have to first put that down. That's why, um, that analogy is just so, so key to connect with, because that's a literal sense that if you're actually holding too much, someone can't give you more. God wants to give you peace. He wants to give you joy. Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, love, all of this stuff. He wants to give you every single one of that plus more because there's so many promises that God gives us. He wants to give it to you. And notice how I said he wants to do that. It's not like, it's not like he feels like he has to. He wants to reward you. He wants for you to live a prosperous life. He wants that for you. Because he loves you, and that's the whole point: is that we receive, we receive that joy, we receive that rest that you've been so desperately needing when you come to his presence, when you sit at his feet. That's where that happens. That's where breakthrough happens—is at the feet of Jesus. Because the only source of breakthrough is him. You can't break through yourself. We don't have the strength to do that. Sometimes we don't even have the strength to realize that we're carrying too much. So how can we possibly break? Through ourselves. God gives us the strength to do that, but we have to first give up what we're carrying. And we can't do that until we come to the feet of Jesus, until we realize that we actually need help, that we actually need someone to come and restore us, to overflow us with everything that I was just talking about, with the, the peace and the patience. It's just I can go on and on talking about that because the feeling— I'm getting motivation right now and just all that joy just thinking about how it makes you feel because it's that amazing. God, the things that God gives you doesn't lack in any way, shape, or form. The joy isn't partial joy. It's not a moment of happiness because joy isn't happiness. It's a completely different thing. Those things don't lack in any way, shape, or form. The peace doesn't lack. But the only, the only thing to keep it is that we have to remain in God's presence, because all of that is found in his presence. The devil's going to want to try to steal it away from you, but you have to hold on to that. How, how tightly are you holding on to your burdens? That's how tightly you should be holding on to the joy of the Lord, the peace of the Lord, the patience, the kindness, the goodness, all of the fruit of the Spirit, everything that he gives you. That's how tightly you should be holding on to that, because the devil is just gonna want to steal it back from you. And that's, that's the point of staying free. When Jesus died on that cross, he died for our freedom. That wasn't just meant for us to receive salvation and go about our lives doing whatever. It's about staying free because you live that prosperous life that he has talked about so many times in his word, that he wants you to live prosperous. There's so much that goes into that, but we have to keep that freedom. We have to remain in the presence of God to keep the peace, to keep the joy. We have to remain in the person that gives it to us. He's the source. Everything from him flows to us. Once that— once we need that daily— we need that daily refilling every single day. That's I've said this in the past so many times that I ask every single morning for the Holy Spirit to fill me up again. Fill me up, Holy Spirit, so I can function properly. Because you can't function without him. You can't function the way you're supposed to without him. I always say, Holy Spirit, overflow me so I can fill other people today. When you have that overflowing joy and that peace, you can fill other people with that because It's— it's— I don't know how to explain it. It's just people, other people feel that joy when you are carrying it. When you're— when it's literally like a jacket, everyone around you is gonna start feeling that joy. And that's the whole point, is how those blessings overflow into other people because you're carrying it. You're being a vessel of that. If you're— if you're carrying the joy of the Lord all the time, people can't help but feel better because The presence of God is giving you that joy. So that joy is radiating to everyone else for them to even receive it. And they don't even— they may not even know it's from God. But that's not even the point, is that we're supposed to be vessels. We're supposed to be carrying these things to then bless other people. We're blessed to then bless other people. And that's just such an important thing to take with us every single day, is that we need to constantly go back into the presence of the Lord. And receive those things even throughout the day because I've used this analogy before, but when when you have your spiritual tank, the world will poke at you. The world will make jokes and make fun of you and try to bring you down. All of this stuff that's again the devil trying to steal your joy, and sometimes the holes can be poked in your spiritual tank. And if there's water filling that, that's gonna it's gonna start to drain a little bit, which is why throughout the day we have to keep asking the Spirit to. Fill us up, to keep remaining with that joy because we can't let anyone take that. When you have— when you know you've received that, the joy of the Lord and the peace of the Lord, when you go through situations that you normally would feel heartbroken in or even just feeling down, something as simple as just feeling discouraged, you don't feel discouraged anymore going into those situations. When troubles come your way, You literally rejoice. That's the point of that verse in James when it tells us to rejoice in every circumstance. Because so many people ask, like, how can we possibly rejoice in any circumstance whenever we're going through tough things? When we're going through this or that? And I've even asked that question so many times. Like, how can we possibly just be, like, happy? Just be joyful in a situation like this? But when you have the joy of the Lord, Those things literally can't affect your mood. They can't affect the way you walk your life because you're— you've received the overflowing joy. That's the point of overflow, is that it keeps pouring into you. It's not— it's like almost like a coverage. It's like when you receive the joy, it's like almost like you've put on this whole body shield that it deflects everything. It deflects the, the lies of the enemy. It deflects the things that people are saying about you. Whenever I've gone through my whole life just not knowing who I am, struggling with my identity, struggling with self-esteem and figuring out who I belong to, who, who I'm supposed to be, my whole life, that's all I've struggled with. But with that joy and along with knowing your identity, it deflects everything. Because when people— people will try to bring you down purposely. Sometimes people can say things accidentally that may have— that can potentially cause discouragement if you come into agreement with it. But there's gonna be people in this life that are gonna purposely condemn you because that's what the enemy does. The enemy is going to try to condemn you. But when you receive the things of the Lord, those things literally don't bother you. And it's so amazing that when you go into those circumstances, and when people are purposely trying to condemn you with certain things, you can actually receive God's joy even more in that circumstance. Because Jesus himself said on the cross, forgive them, Lord, because they don't know what they're doing. In that moment when people are doing that, you can have the joy to pray for them. You can receive the love of God and pour that out to them instead of getting angry. That, that's the power of just the joy of the Lord, how much That covers you, and that's that's just like the the most important part when you're receiving breakthrough. You receive that joy. I'm trying to explain this in a way that motivates someone to reach that breakthrough because sometimes again we feel so heavy that in a sense we don't we don't want to let it go. That a few days ago when I received breakthrough, I was sitting down at Jesus's feet and I was like, "Okay, Lord." I know you want to give me peace and rest right now, but for some reason I don't want to let my heaviness go. For some reason it's almost like I don't even know how, because we, we struggle with so many things and we put so much pressure on ourselves. We're so self-condemning of ourselves that we, at that point, we don't even know how to give it up. But then when we quiet our mind, you know what God said to me? He just said, just release it. What helped me is that I physically imagined myself carrying those weights and giving it to him. That's the only thing I did. That's that's all he said is just release it to me, let it go. And after that, all of that came, all that joy, that peace. It's unexplainable, and it just again, it just motivates you to do everything and anything, and it's just. I just, I can't explain it because it's just, it's unexplainable. Those things of God, God is a mystery. The things that he gives you can sometimes be a mystery too. That is one thing, is that you don't know what it's like to receive the overflowing joy of the Lord until you do. So that's why I'm encouraging you to just lay at the feet of Jesus. Receive the rest that he wants for you because he wants to take your burdens. He—it's not a weight to Him. He is the Almighty God. It's not—it's not painful for Him to take that. It's not heavy for Him to take it. In fact, He wants to because it will only benefit you. Because not only you receive all of those things that He's telling you, but you actually get closer to God because. You realize how faithful He is, and it's not even about the things He gives you. You just realize who He is. That's that's the amazing part about it: is you receive who He is, and that that's that's the important part about it. It builds your relationship with Him, and He He He I'm gonna keep saying it because He wants it for you. He wants that for you. I've gone so many years of my life knowing what God wants for me, but not actually believing that it was for me. I've gone so many years of my life understanding who God calls me to be, and God, God says this about you, God says that about you, but I'm like, God, I hear what you're saying, but I don't believe it. I've gone my whole life knowing that God was there. But then I never received anything because I didn't believe that I, I could. I didn't believe that it was for me. But that, that's the message today, is believing that he wants that for you. It's about receiving him. He just wants you to sit at his feet and all of that will come to you. That's, that's all he wants to give you is all of those things, and they will only benefit you. The heaviness is not for you. The heaviness is not your portion. The joy is your portion. The love is your portion. The peace is your portion. Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control— that's all your portion. None of that— nowhere in there does it say that heaviness belongs to you. God doesn't want us to carry heaviness. All we need to do is talk to Him. That's how you pray. You just talk to Him because He listens to you. It's just a simple form of communication, and it's so important because it builds you up. It builds you up. It builds your relationship with God. And then you can, you can hear Him more clear. You can, you can go about your life being Spirit-led because you know what— not only you know what He wants for you, but you know the direction of His will. You know The things that he has for you, even all all of that stuff is just so important. And sometimes when it comes to praying, there's no almost right way to pray. But there are a lot of not a lot of but I guess a couple models that it talks about in the Bible. There's one in Nehemiah, the the effective prayer skeleton that you can follow. And that can include like starting with adoration, giving God thanks and just praising him, worshiping for worshiping him for who he is. And then there's confession of surrendering your sins. And then there's commitment to those prayers that you're praying to him. If you're asking, for example, in Nehemiah, he was praying for God to send him and give him the materials to rebuild the wall, the Jerusalem wall. But from that. Prayer request, he was committed to going and doing it. He wasn't, he wasn't just asking God to rebuild the wall while he sits back, he sits back and watch. He committed to going out himself, building the team to do so, and doing it. He trusted that the Lord was calling him to do that and that the Lord would give him the favor from the king at the time to send him, to allow him to do that, because he had a job. He was the king's cupbearer, so he had a job to do. So he trusted that God would pour out favor to send him, to grace him to do that, and to give him the materials to do so. That's part of the commitment too. And a lot of the time there are just requests that we give God that we just have to let God do. But whenever you're in a relationship with Jesus, it's a partnership. So we have to play our part sometimes. We have to put the physical in, and God puts the super. And we have to put the normal, the natural, and then God puts the super to it. And that, that's, that's the point, is we, we each have a part to play, but, um, we have to do what God's calling us to do. A lot of the times, sometimes when we're asking for healing or asking for prayer, it requires us to do something. God is asking us to do something about it. God wants us to, um, to take action, to be committed to that. Like, God, I want, I want this promise. You gave me this promise and I want it. And you have to commit to what he's telling you to do. That's the obedience part. That's the, that's the partnership, is that even for, for example, I'm going on mission trips this year. That's a— I have to partner with God. I trust that he will give me the funds for that, but I have to go out And request that. I have to go and partner with other people to make that happen. That's my part that I have to play. God's part is just funding me. God's part is rewarding my faithfulness, my obedience. That's his part. That's the super. And I trust that he's going to do that, but I have to play a part too. And there, there will be times in life where, again, you can just sit back and watch God do the work. But a lot of the time, we have to do something. We have to play a part in that. You have to, you have to commit to it as seen in that skeleton prayer. And there's the other, the other part in the New Testament that Jesus talked about to his disciples, and that's in Matthew chapter 6, verses 9 through 13 in the NLT version. And it says, pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your kingdom come soon. May your will in heaven be done as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us of our sins as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. That is a great prayer to follow as well. And you don't have to, you don't have to say those exact words and have it in that exact order. It's just, those are just formats that you can follow if you're struggling to pray or you're struggling to understand what to do. But again, don't overthink it because prayer is just communication with God. Literally how you talk to a friend, how when you're telling your friend about your day or how your week went or everything that's going on, that's how you can talk to God. We just have to get used to doing that. We, a lot of the time, we, we don't realize that he's our friend too. He's our, he's our Holy Father, but he's our friend and he listens to us. So It can just be as if you're talking to a friend because he, he's there to listen. In Proverbs chapter 15, verses 29, in the NLT version, it says, the Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous. God hears the prayers of the righteous. So sometimes we, we think that God isn't answering our prayers, but in reality, it's either on its way or it's not for you. God, a lot of the time when he answers prayers, It's really that he changes our mindset. Sometimes our prayer being answered is him just giving us a new perspective on the matter. Because a lot of the time our answer is right in front of us, but we sometimes just don't— either don't want to admit that or just don't want to see it. We don't want to go to that because it can be uncomfortable sometimes. But that answered prayer can simply just be God changing your perspective and opening your eyes that it's right in front of you. It's right here. It's from this person. All of these things, that's, that's a lot of the time why some people think that their prayers aren't being answered, is that it either isn't aligned with God, which means it has evil— it can have evil intentions behind it, or it's right in front of you and God is just trying to change your mindset. God is trying to have you— you're focused over here because you want this answer, but God's saying no, it's this. Because this is what's better for you. And again, God knows what's best for us. So we, we have to be Spirit-led in that. Sometimes that's uncomfortable when we want this answer and God is giving us this answer. And sometimes that's hard to receive, but that's just reality. And in reality, that's what is best for us because God is— God's not going to give you something that's not for you. He's not going to give you something that's not in your best interest. Amen. So although sometimes it can be uncomfortable to receive something you didn't expect, but God exceeds your expectations. So don't lose hope, but you need to expect the impossible because he can do that. The impossible is achievable for God because it's not impossible for him. It's already done. It's already for you. It's already in your future. It's already set in stone. You just have to walk it out. You can't limit your mindset with God. Don't put God in a box in your situation. Hope for breakthrough because breakthrough is on its way. God wants breakthrough for you, and it's right around the corner. You just have to receive it. It's as simple as that. Going through your prayer and humbling yourself to him and giving him your burdens, that's where breakthrough happens. Breakthrough is literally breaking through old mindsets, old behaviors, old choices that you have made. It's breaking through that. It's, it's like, think of it as a sheet of ice and you're down here in the water. It's literally breaking through that to a new perspective. You now can see the sky. You can see everything else outside. It's breaking through. It's, it's leaving the past behaviors behind. It's leaving those past mindsets behind, those bad choices behind. Breakthrough Is freedom. It's freedom from the things that were holding you captive. It's freedom from things that you were in bondage for. That's the whole point of it. And God wants that for you. In the midst of hardship, you can turn to your Heavenly Father because he is good and he is just and he is kind and patient. His kindness is intended for you to turn from your sin. That is so comforting when I hear that, that it's like When we do something bad, we immediately think that God's trying to punish us. We immediately think that God wants to punish us, but he's kind to us. He's gentle because he wants you to turn from that. He's not punishing you. He's being patient with you. He's being kind to you, and he wants you to know that. He doesn't want you to come in agreement with a spirit of condemnation thinking that you deserve all the punishment in the world. Because God wants what's best for you, and that may be in a way of correction where he will correct you onto the right path. But in reality, it's always what's going to be—it's always going to be what's best for you. And there there is a clear difference between the conviction of the Lord and the condemnation of the enemy, because the conviction of the Lord comes with peace, and you can you can feel his kindness that that when you make a mistake, you actually feel comforted. that you can come to him. I've been noticing that recently, that when, when someone makes a mistake and you are— you're gracing them and you're having mercy over them and you're choosing to be kind over them, although they made a mistake, they literally feel more vulnerable. Not in a bad way, but they feel like they can come to you. They feel like— they feel comfortable to seek your help. And that's the same thing with God, is when we know that God's not going to condemn you. God's not punishing you, and that's just the truth that we have to learn to receive, is that God— God's kindness is meant for you to turn from your sin. That's the whole point of it, so that we, we feel comfortable that we can turn to a God that's trustworthy. In Hebrews chapter 13, verse 8, it says that Jesus is the same yesterday and today and as today and forever. He is the same. So he's— one day he's not going to be It's not like he's going to be nice to you this day and then condemn you the next. He's kind and he's merciful and he wants to, he wants to pour all that out on you. And all the enemy wants to do is condemn you, to make you think that God doesn't want to be around you. A lot of the time when we think of punishment, we, we get separated from the punisher. But in fact, God pulls us in when we make a mistake. God pulls us in. He doesn't send us away. Amen. He doesn't, he doesn't punish us and give us space because he doesn't want to be around us because we made a mistake. He pulls us in. He makes us comfortable. He, he's our shelter. He covers us. That's the whole point, because we, we can't cover ourselves. Our protection, our shelter comes from him. He's the one that gives us that comfort. Nothing else in the world can fulfill you in that way. Amen. Nothing else in this world can do that because we need God. We need to we we need God. We need a Savior. We need a Comforter, whether we realize it or not. And all of that can be found in God. And when we fully surrender to God, He again He gives us the peace. He gives us joy and everything else we need. He gives us rest. And that feeling of rest and that feeling of joy looking back to see that you've broken through those old mindsets that old behavior, all of those things that were in the past are in the past, and you can now move forward literally with a new mindset because God gives that to you. That's part of the things he pours into you. It's not like he just takes your burdens away and then leaves you vulnerable there. He pours into you. He— everything he took away, he then fills that spot. And that's the amazing thing about it, is he doesn't leave you stranded. He's never going to do that. He's always going to fill you up, but you have to, you have to give him the things that you're holding for him to do that. Because again, he's not going to force you. And again, going back to the verse that I was talking about in Matthew 11:28, in the NLT version it says, come to me, all you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. That's a promise. That's a promise of God. That's one of his promises. Come to him, and everyone who's carrying heavy burdens, come to him, and I will give you rest. He will give that to you because that is a promise of God. And I love, I love that same verse in the Amplified Version too of Matthew chapter 11:28, and it says, come to me, all you who are weary and heavily burdened by religious rituals that provide no peace. And I will give you the rest, refreshing your souls with salvation. I love that word refreshing because it literally feels like when you take when you dunk yourself in an ice bath, how you literally feel like like you when you feel awake, you feel like you can see everything now. Like your eyes are opened when when you when you dunk yourself in an ice bath. You're awake. You're motivated. You're ready to start the day. That's how I view that word refreshing is that. You just see things differently. He opens your eyes and it motivates you. That's part of that hope and that joy. It's refreshing. And that's the amazing part about it is that he wants to give that to you. And that's for you. That's your portion. And it's an unexplainable feeling. And the more you receive it, the more you You understand what it's like to have it. So sometimes whenever we can, we can start to feel heavy again. We want to get right back in the presence of God. We want to receive all that again because we remember the feeling of it. You remember how joyful you felt, how how you just felt so alive. That that's like a good word for you. Just feel alive. It's almost like you felt blind, and then now your blindfold is off. You can see all the color. You can see the detail around you. You can see everything. You feel alive. And that, that's exactly how I felt when I was talking about how a few days ago I broke through myself, that God gave me breakthrough. And I felt that heaviness, I felt numb, but all of the things I was describing, all of that joy, that motivation, that peace, that's what the Lord gave me. And he can give that to you too because he's a respecter of no persons. What he gives to me, he can give to you. Amen. He can give you that overflowing joy. He can give you that overflowing peace. He can give all of that to you because that's your portion. You're a son or daughter of the King. That's what He wants to give you. He wants to give you a prosperous life, but all you must do is sit in His presence and receive it. Something that has, like I said before, something that helped me to physically let go of it is to close your eyes and imagine Jesus standing in front of you. Imagine yourself holding all of the burdens and the heaviness that you have. I, I imagined it as bricks or like dumbbell weights, if you want to imagine it in a physical sense. But just imagine you looking down, seeing that heaviness, and give it to him. It's almost like you're, you're carrying those bricks and you're giving it to him. That, that's what it's like. And He takes it, and then He gives you something in return to then fill that void, to fill that empty space that you just gave up for Him. He fills it back up, but with things that are good for you. He fills it with that joy and that peace. All of that—that's for you. It's indescribable. You just have to receive it because that's your portion. You have to do it honestly and humbly, and the refreshment. Will come. You have to trust that he will give that to you. That's the whole point of this, is to talk about the passion or hope after breakthrough. When Jesus takes you through breakthrough, breakthrough, you literally feel happier. You literally feel lighter. You feel refreshed again, like you dunked yourself in an ice bath. It's when Jesus provides all of this for you, it gives you a better understanding of who he is. It helps you to understand that he's, he's passionate about you, and he, he loves you, and he wants that for you. And that helps you to build a better relationship with him, not only because you understand what he wants to give you, but who he is, that he's faithful to that. All of that is for you. Passion. This, this live is named Passion After Breakthrough because passion is a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement about something or doing something. That is— that's the hope you feel. You feel that overwhelming enthusiasm, that excitement to get things done, a hope for a future, a hope that there is a future. All of that stuff is included in that. That's the whole point, is building you up to understand what the steps are to receive breakthrough. During your trials and tribulations in this life when you need breakthrough, and then what comes after it. What is God pouring into you after the fact? It's not until you receive breakthrough that you, you understand that joy and that peace. It's not until you receive breakthrough that your hope in Jesus is restored. It's not until you receive breakthrough that you have the motivation and hope to be better, a motivation and a hope that there is better for you. It's not until breakthrough that we clearly see our lit up path, our Jesus-led path. Let me tell you that it's not until you receive breakthrough that we gain a different type of reverence for our Savior, that we see Him differently in a different way that only makes us want to be with Him more. Because although the things He gives us is incredible, it's about who He is. And when you you see that, you see that through the breakthrough, and it only wants to make you be with Him more because of. Who he is and how much he loves you. He is faithful to that. He is faithful to restore you and to bring your hope and peace back, because again, that is your portion. Remember that peace is your portion. Hope is your portion. Restoration is your portion. Prosperity is your portion. God wants all of this for you because he wants you to be whole. Come surrender yourself to our good and faithful Father, and don't waste time doing so because he doesn't waste time giving us a new life and restoring us. We thank you for this beautiful moment, Father, that we get to that I get to pour out the wisdom that you have given me, that I have learned throughout my. My time walking with you, Father God. I just pray that this planted seeds in people, that this gave people motivation to come back to your feet, to receive their portion, what they— what you want to give them, Father God. I pray that this harvests in their life, Father God, that they can realize who you are and that you're faithful to your promises, that you are going to give them these things because that is their portion. I thank you, Father, for lowering me so that you can be exalted in this moment, Father, that you can be glorified through all of this. Amen. Through the testimony that I just went through a few days ago. I thank you for the breakthrough that you give your people, Father God, because that breakthrough is every single person's portion. Breakthrough is for everyone. Freedom is for everyone. That's exactly why you died on the cross for us, because we are meant to have freedom and to stay free. And that freedom is found in you. Remaining in freedom is found in you. Our portion of peace joy, overflowing hope, all of that, that passion, all of that is found in you, Father God. And we thank you for that. We adore you for that. We thank you for who you are, for, for being so faithful to your people, Father God, that you are kind so that people can turn from their sins and feel comfortable that they are turning to someone they trust, turning to someone who doesn't change, turning to someone who won't let them down. Father God, we thank you for all of that, and we praise you for this beautiful time Together as a family, as a community. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank you for all listening.
