A man confronted thieves stealing his fishing nets and offered them fish instead, citing Romans 12's teaching to overcome evil with good. He says this approach reduced theft on his property.
Trust me, watch this.
I'd surprise them at gunpoint. Nobody move here. Y'all got any weapons with you? Oh no, we— I said, what are you doing running my nets? That's my livelihood. So get your boat over here. I'm gonna give you what you're trying to steal. That way you don't have to steal from me. I'll give them to you. If you want any fish, I live right over in the curve of the river. If you can't catch any, Holler at me, I'll get you some fish. You don't have to steal them. They're like— when I started doing that, they quit stealing from me for the most part. You get that out of Romans chapter 12. Don't repay evil for evil. Overcome evil with good.
